Town Bar and Grill MV

We were visiting Martha’s Vineyard and it was off season. Only a few restaurants were open. Went to town bar and grill and had good food with great service! We ordered roasted brussel sprouts which were yum, tagaroshi fries which stole the show, cheese burger, fish and chips and mozzarella sticks.

While biking on the island, we picked this place as it's along the bike trail and the price review is not about $50 per person. I was surprised to see they have sushi counter and menu, but we didn't bother. The portions were good for the island price. Presentations were nicely done as well. I had the shrimp scampi. Fresh and plump shrimp. Freshly made fettuccine. It could use a pinch of extra salt to bring out the flavor which I did. My wife had the pork chop. Very nicely done, tender and juicy. Great flavor. Kids shared popcorn chicken and chicken tacos. Both very flavorful. The taco had salsa with bacon bits, and that was a nice touch.

This review is not about the food it’s about the owners and the restaurant. I had an issue that probably didn’t happen much at this restaurant with my delivery taking 2 hours. I complained to management 1 time and that’s all it took for them to fix it no arguments nothing. They handled this issue very professionally and I have no complaints will gladly dine here again thank you for taking care of my issue swiftly!!

Came here on a work trip. It was during trivia night so the restaurant was abuzz with people, good music and fun times. Food was very good and the service was quick! I got the Surf and Turf which came with steak tips over mashed potatoes and fried scallops. Delicious!

Mother's day brunch. We usually dine at Lola's each year. They went out of business. We like the buffet style for brunch. I saw mention of Town having that. Called for a reservation. Mike guided me to that. Easy parking. Walked in the door. Great decorations. Clean and stylish. They even have a pancake machine. The buffet was a bit small but had more than enough to fill our plates. Our table was a bit wobbly. The service was great. Its new. Room for improvement. I look forward to our next visit.

Nice outdoor sections with lots of seating. Seems like more of a sports bar inside, but the outside made for a very nice location for brunch. The road is right there but it’s good people watching. Food was not bad, nothing exceptional but at the same time nothing was off. Basic brunch egg options, salads, and sandwiches. Service was good.

I was told by a local that this place had some great food. After riding my bike all day long from place to place I was in need of a good fillng meal. I asked how the half roasted chicken was and was told by the bartender that people come here just for that. So that's what I ordered and I'm glad I did because it was delicious and I was full. The roasted chicken came with mashed potatoes, green beans, and gravy.

We went for lunch around 1:30-2pm on the Sunday after July 4. The chef was taking shots with his friends at the bar and the waitress was making out with someone. Horrible unprofessional service and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and was barely attended to. Don’t waste your time going here. In a response to the owner- I’ve been coming to the island for years. We went to TownMV, I didn’t get the place confused, just accidentally thought it was Monday but we went on Sunday July 6. You may want to reevaluate your staff.
