Town Hall Burger & Beer

New to Raleigh and ordered here 3 times. First time burger was wrong. 2nd time they didn’t send us our order of loaded fries. 3rd time we ordered salads that in previous were great and this time they were pathetic. The two salads combined might have equaled one but sucks. Our tab for 2 salads and 1 loaded fries was over $55 not counting door dash fees and tip. I called and spoke to manager jimmy and he was nice enough but said this doesn’t happen? I find that hard to believe that in the 3 times we ordered they missed something up every time. Sucks. New to area and let down here. Does the pic look like a salad that cost OVER $20? …

Best burger on this side of the mountains. We usually dine at the Holly Springs location, but this one is just as great! I recommend the Montreal Steak burger or California burger and Parmesan fries. The atmosphere could only be made better if their chairs were comfortable, but take the burger to go or to the sidewalk it doesn’t matter, just try it if you haven’t yet.

The wings were available with sauce or a dry rub, offering variety. The spice level was just right, and the pricing was fair for the portion and quality. Fried Mac n Cheese: 6.8/10 – A unique and tasty option with a slightly different but enjoyable flavor. It could be even better with the addition of bacon or extra ingredients, but it was still a good dish overall.

We have been coming in a few times and have really enjoyed our experience. Today was not the same experience. We ordered two burgers,one beef and one turkey, chips , a beer and a fountain drink. The beef burger came out soon, chips and we got the fountain drink. We waited 10 minutes for the turkey burger and still had not gotten the beer. The manager and another manager were at the bar talking and not paying attention to the bar to even get the beer. We mentioned it to the manager but we felt he was defensive that the turkey burger needed to cook to a particular temperature. It was 10 minutes after the beef burger and still no beer. Please keep in mind we have been there several times and ordered the same food all the time. While they compensated some of the food, it was not the manager but a server who came over to tell us. The manager should of been the one to handle the issue and talked about the compensation. We were not looking for compensation but making it known there is a problem and needs to be addressed.

Always enjoy my meals here. Everything I've tried has been delicious. My favorite is the Cowboy Burgers with their homemade chips. A good variety of beers to choose from also if you enjoy them. The staff are super friendly and helpful and make you feel welcomed. Would recommend you to stop by and enjoy a good meal!

What a wonderful place. Small family style sports bar 🍸 full of energy and great staff. Needless to say, with a name that includes "Burger," I HAD to try one, though I rarely eat anything like this. I'm so happy I did! I built my own burger and decided for only that so as not to confuse or disturb my palate in any way. The place is clean, well lit, with all the restaurant sounds being absorbed by the fabulous wooden structure. Kudos 👏🏽 to this team. We will definitely be back

We at at the bar so we had service at our seating arrangements. The food quality is excellent. I had the steak and cheese. The French fries melted in your mouth. You can tell they were freshly made. The only thing I would change is to have waitress at the tables instead of having to place orders at the counter. That would greatly improve the experience for others. They had a gluten free options for cooking.

The absolute worst dining experience of my life. You will not be greeted at the host stand. So me and my family, including my three year-old son were forced to sit at the bar. One bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. Another one was rude and encouraging us to leave like we didn’t belong there. Me and my brother both had one beer and put it all on one check. Being as if one of the bartenders was so friendly, I tipped 40% and left kindly. But then was followed out to my car by another bartender! As I’m putting my three year old son into a car seat! A short hair, female bartender, harassed my family, claiming that we did not pay our tab. It was so embarrassing and dangerous. I quickly returned into the restaurant to rectify the situation, and was treated as a criminal. The manager did nothing! I showed the copy of my paid receipt! And was still accused of stealing! At this point a scene is made at the bar as I am furious that I was followed to my car on an absolute inadequate assumption! I am a Durham native, as well as a restauranteur. I was just looking for a burger for a late night meal. And was giving the most embarrassing horrendous service imaginable !!!!!! I encourage everyone who reads this to never dine at this Horrendous restaurant. I’m sure nothing will be done or changed from this incident.

Sadly the crabmeat tater tots have long been off the menu, but I will forgive them because their burgers and fries are so wonderfully PERFECT. Fries are clearly hand-cut and cooked to perfection. Burgers, each element again, perfect. Try the Seth Sauce! Try it on the burger, and get ya a side of it for dipping those fries in. We enjoy eating at the bar, which is full service, but you can order at the counter if you prefer. We each enjoyed a Ponysaurus brew with our burgers and fries. They do have other things on the menu, but it's really hard not to get a burger here if you like yours juicy, flavorful and well, PERFECT.

A pretty cool restaurant/bar with wide open space. The Town Hall offers many cool drinks and has a decent fast food menu with a twist of fusion. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwhich on the lunch special. It came with fries and a drink. I try not to eat fries but tried a few and they were very good. The sandwich was also good and the best part was lots of meat and simple. As far as service, everyone was nice and wanted you to enjoy your time at the Town Hall. I'm only here fir a short time but I would like to try their Angus burger.

We were greeted as soon as we arrived, helped by the greeter to get us two high chairs to a table. Asked if it was our first time in a let us know how it worked. It was casual in the sense that you order at the counter, they give you a number and then they bring your food out to you. It looked like they had a fabulous drink list up on the board by the bar however sadly my kids weren't being agreeable so it was a quick time in and out. I got the Tar Heel Burger and it was delicious! The burgers don't come with a side, they are separate but big enough to share. I will definitely come back here again, I can't wait to try all of the different burgers.

Great burger spot. I love being able to pick and choose what you want on the burger to completely customize it. I of course ordered blue cheese on my impossible burger, one of my favorite combinations. The flies outback though, they almost took my food away. Next time I'll not bring the pup and will eat inside.

Just took out a burger - man are they to die for. I had a bite of the regular burger and the mac and cheese, it is insane how juicy they are. I'm shocked the mac and cheese wasn't dry and mushy - just perfect. The price is a bit up there, but the burgers are pretty big and delicious, so it's a nice treat.

This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with several other businesses that share the parking lot. I was able to find a parking space but had to park on the opposite end of the lot. There was bar and several tables inside of the business. I did not see a bartender at the bar when I wanted to get lemons for my water. When you decide on your meal you go to the counter to pay and place your order. Your food is brought to you when it is ready. The cashier was not overly friendly. I ended up ordering the Mediterranean lamb burger and an order of fries for ~$20. The order of fries was huge and could be shared with multiple people depending upon your appetite. The fries were good and hot but they came out awhile after I had mg burger. The burger was ok. It was a combination of lamb and beef. The patty was small compared to the amount of naan bread that was provided. I also was not a fan of the tzatziki sauce on the burger. The burger was also topped with onion (I ordered with them on the side,) tomatoes, and pickled cucumbers. If I came back I would get a different burger.

This was the best burger I have ever had. All of the options were super great to choose from, I couldn't decide what to pick! We will definitely be back for more! Inside looked really cool and they had outdoor seating which was very clean and welcoming. Service was easy just order yourself and chill out. Love love love!

Went here for dinner tonight and food was pretty good. Was kind of a wait to get our food but it was busy, so it was no big deal. Bartenders were very nice, and the beer was perfect. I got the Mando burger and fries, and I split the pretzel bites with my brother. The first half of my burger was perfect, but I was eating the fries for a little bit then went to eat the 2nd half of my burger and the bottom bun was soggy from all the grease . Just the sign of a good burger right!? The pretzel bites were good and the queso sauce to dip them in has a little bit of a kick was added some nice flavor. The staff was super attentive and made sure we were always good! Was a really nice experience. Mando Burger - 7/10 Fries - 6.7/10 Pretzel bites - 6.2/10

We stopped by this Town Hall Burger & Beer (13100 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh) last night.  Not saying anything bad at all about the other Town Hall Burger & Beer locations, but this one by far is the best we've been to out of several. The level of service here is top notch.  Thank you Ashton & Steady.  Friendly, witty, courteous, knowledgeable, and so ready to make your dining or drinking experience next level.  Even the owner got in on the action with a quip.  Did you know it's "Chicken Tenders" and not "Chicken Fingers"?  Chickens DON'T HAVE fingers!  The food tasted even better than the other locations we've been.  What secret chemistry do they have going on in the kitchen.  We had chicken fingers, um sorry, chicken tenders - salads  - and burgers.  Everything was super delicious.  And the sweet potato fries, oh my god, over the top.  The most perfectly cut and cooked sweet potato fry I've ever had. Beer list and cocktail specials were ample.  And what do you know, this THBB location is right next to a brewery - "Salty Turtle".  All in all this was a great dinner and a real pleasant surprise.  We were expecting to have a rushed and hurried quick dinner before a high school match around the corner, and it turned out to be far, far, better than that.  Appreciate the hospitality Steady & Ashton!  You two and the rest of the team here are really rocking it.

Excellent service! Very friendly, patient, and quick! Food was really good and big portions! They have a cute little dog menu, and are dog friendly outside. They offer seasonal cocktails, beers on tap, and wine.

Casual spot with good food! Nice outdoor area too... buffalo shrimp tacos are a must try!

These cows are yummy. I'd say thus is an overall dank restaurant but a tad bit overpriced. Not to mention everything is a la carte which is just flat out unshwae. But my whole family enjoyed the food for the most part. The Parmesan fries were a let down and I'm honestly not sure if they are freshly made there. I did a make your own burger which I personally think is the way to go because you get three free toppings in addition to lettuce tomato and onion. Their specialty burgers are pretty cool too though. All in all, if I'm being honest, it was a good experience but not good enough to keep coming back.

We're back again and everything is still the same! Excellent customer service! Delicious food! This time we tried the Carolina burger which was absolutely marvelous! The chili was so good and the coleslaw was perfect. The wings were very flavorful too. The sweet potato fries came with a yogurt dipping sauce that was packed with flavor! I can't stop going!!!

Ordered from the Salty Turtle. Enjoyed a great beer and a great burger. We will be going back soon.

Dined in on a week night and can say this will be the last visit. Rude and disinterested staff, overpriced food. Much better places in the area!

We have passed this many times saying that we need to try it. Well we finally did and we will become regulars with them now. You order and sit but it was easy to maneuver the process. They bring the food to you when ready and the food was excellent. I had their flounder sandwich and it was so nice and lightly breaded with great flavor. My husband had a burger and shared it was the best burger he has tasted in a while. The Salty Turtle Beer Co is two doors down and if you are enjoying your time there you can order food from Town Hall and they will bring it to you. Great partnership! If you want a really good experience while having a burger - gotta try this place.

A nice burger spot. Our party had onion rings, pretzel bites, loaded fries and Parmesan/truffle fries. A lamb burger, a chicken sandwich and regular burgers and chicken tenders. All were good. Even ordered chicken tenders and sweet potato fries to go. The restaurant was clean and casual. Fast service. A good experience overall.

Afternoon lunch at Town Hall. We split the BBQ tots, chopped salad, and chocolate chip bread pudding. The tots were great! They were crisp with tangy sauce, BBQ, and blue cheese. The salad was lackluster. The salad pieces were very large, and the dressing lacked flavor. When you tried to eat the salad, all of the added ingredients fell to the bottom of the bowl. It was difficult to get several flavors in one bite. The bread pudding was a highlight! It was sweet and delicious!

Small but clean little restaurant. The staff was quick, attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly and was so dang delicious. We built our burgers ( i was so thankful they had vegetarian and vegan options) and also tried the cowboy burger. Three of us split the basket of fries and it was plenty to share. I also drank the ace cider, and it was very flavorful. My kids raves about it, will most definitely be back.

The fried pickles with jalapeño ranch were the star (and surprise) of our dinner. Large portion and very tasty. Thin and crispy. Would absolutely get again. The quinoa and spinach burger was more of a spinach omelette on a burger bun. Wouldn't get it again. The parmesan truffle fries were pretty oily (from the truffle oil) and had very little parmesan. Wouldn't get again.

Great food! I had a Philly Cheese Sreak with Sweet Potato Fries. The fries were well seasoned and crispy. The sandwich was well seasoned, not dry. Loved it! I would recommend you check it out!

Fun new spot for pub food and beer in Wakefield. It's a storefront location at the end of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. It's a square room with about a dozen COVID - spaced tables. There's 12 seats at the L-shaped bar in the right. Decor is industrial with polished concrete floor, different sizes of tables with mismatched metal chairs. There's a patio with at least 6 tables, plus garage doors which open to the patio for when it gets warmer. It's an order-at-the-counter, they-bring-the-food place. Tried the Tar Heel Burger. This a giant beef patty, cooked fabulously medium. It's topped with pulled pork, a smear of pimento cheese, BBQ sauce and slaw on a toasted brioche bun. Definitely a knife and fork burger, this was way too thick and sloppy to be a hand held. Pulled pork is juicy and tender and excellent. Pimento cheese creamy and cold, slaw firm, crunchy and subtly sweet. This is as GOOD burger as I've had! Parmesan truffle fries are excellent. Fresh cut, skins-on taters are sliced thin, fried crispy golden brown and then tossed in truffle oil and dusted with parmesan. Perfect. There's an extensive beer menu with a huge selection on tap. Nothing like an ice cold beer to wash down a juicy burger and fries. It's not inexpensive... 2 burgers, shared fries and 2 beers was $50 with tips. High quality, so value for the money. A cool place. Will be back.

We went here for a late lunch and loved it. We all burgers and everyone enjoyed them. I had a gluten free bun and it wasn't the best. I'd probably skip it next time. They have tons of variety. My favorite here was the poutine fries. Definitely have to have them next time. It's a quick service place where you order and then sit. I thought it was a sit down restaurant. Portions are generously sized. Beer is separate from food. My daughter loved her fried Mac and cheese. Overall a good restaurant.

Third time trying to leave a review! We had an a terrific lunch here! Fantastic food. The burgers were cooked to perfection. The Boomer burger was amazing! The crab tots are out of this world. Fries so good, very much like Five Guys fries. Restaurant was spotless, restrooms very clean (unisex), employees all very nice from the minute we walked in until we left. Plenty of parking. You can dine in, dine on patio or dine at full bar. We will 100% return!

My son and I stopped by for lunch last Sunday (2-28). They opened about a month or so ago, in a new building located in Wakefield Commons. This is a place where you order at a counter and the food is brought to you. The counter to order the food and the bar are separate. We ordered our burgers and a side of fries and they came out quickly. We both got a Town Hall Burger. My son went with the single and I opted for a double (too much ). He went with cheddar, bacon and ketchup. I went with the cheddar, onion straws, lettuce, Mayo and ketchup. Both came cooked to order and were delicious. The patties were tasty and juicy. The double was bigger than I thought so, it became a knife and fork situation We went with a single order of Parmesan fries. They were seasoned just right and were very tasty. At the food counter you can order your beverage which is self serve. The bar offers a nice selection of tap local craft beers as well as cans and bottles. They also offer wine options. They had the local college basketball games on an the NASCAR pre race show when we were there The menu has other selections besides burgers. They have salads and appetizers on the menu. They offer a Turkey burger, lamb burger, impossible burger, chicken sandwiches and a cheesesteak if you want something else besides a ground beef burger. Overall we had a really nice experience. We will definitely be back again.

Met a friend there and we both ordered the lunch special. The burger was very tasty, fries were hot and crispy and the beer was great! If you're not into burgers, they have a good variety of other options on the menu. We had great service and we were asked if everything was okay by the server as well as the manager. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a nice meal, I recommend giving them a try.

I decided to stop in for lunch and was so happy I did. I was greeted by Steady, the bartender who was welcoming and really friendly. I sat at the bar and he gave me a couple samples of the sours that had on draft. The beer selection is nice!! They also have a mixed drinks which I plan to checkout next time. I opted for a cherry limeade cider which was delicious. I was in the mood for a salad but also buffalo chicken and I was able to modify a salad and make it exactly what I wanted. I got the chopped salad, added the buffalo chicken and subbed blue cheese for the citrus dressing. It was DELICIOUS! I sat at the bar but they have outdoor seating which I also plan to take advantage of next time I come. Overall, THBB is a cute neighborhood restaurant with friendly staff, good food and lots of good beer. What else can you ask for?

My first time coming here and it was sooooo yummy. The burgers were pretty good but not WOW. You want to know what was WOW? The chicken! Those boneless BBQ wings were the BEST boneless wings I have ever had. I promise you I'm not exaggerating. They seem fresh and homemade. They rip apart so easily and melt in your mouth. I literally went back the day after for some more. The truffle fries were okay, not my fave. They do have GF buns which wad great! Great service though! We had a few issues with our order and they were always nice and happy to help fix that for us. They have a bar which was also a pretty nice option to have as well. The location was nice and we really enjoyed the outdoor seating.

I have a shrimp allergy- cross contamination causes an allergic reaction- and a staff member explained what on the menu would or wouldn't have cross contamination (from the fryer) and why each thing was safe. I was able to have the burger I wanted with only one change and without fear of allergic reaction because of how clear the communication was. The burger was also absolutely amazing!

We love the food and quick service. They have great burgers and additional options for the non-burger eaters. Great food, great price!

It is a casual burger place with a nice bar. The burgers are great. Fries are sensational. They have the all American burger but also some burgers with a twist. My wife loves the lamb burger on Pita. Did I mention the fries...

After the second try, I felt like I had enough info to sum this place up- it's really good at burgers and burger-y sides. Drink: The beer menu is crafty enough to appeal to the beer snob, but there's some AB/InBev standards, too. Scene: It's got a sports bar ambience, plenty of TVs for catching the game or the fight. As for who's in the room, it's not uncommon to see a few generations at a table as well as some jersey-clad bros. One side of the dining room is a full bar. Food: The burger specials are always great, and we were surprised with how good the fried pickle chips were. The truffle fries were straight up oily, like they'd just been dumped from the fryer basket into the serving basket. The service was pleasant, but in both of our visits we realized that the food isn't going to come out as a meal, it's coming out when it's ready- for instance, don't be surprised if you're having your fried pickle chips as a dessert course after they've taken away your empty burger basket. This is a fun little middle of the road burger joint in Wake Forest, worth checking out if you're looking for a place to watch the game or have a few pints with family or friends.

We decided to check out this newish place for lunch after our granddaughters dance recital. The crab meat tater tots were amazing! Whoever thought to put this together is genius! I was very happy to see that unlike most burger places, they actually have quite a nice selection of veggie options, shrimp, chicken as well as salads and beer. I loved my spinach quinoa burger. It was a bit messy but I liked that it wasn't dry at all. Others at our table enjoyed the pretzel bites and the burger with Mac and cheese looked really good too. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. You order at the bar for beer or wine. Will definitely be back to try some other options. The Greek salad is huge! The staff if friendly and the manager came over to make sure all was good.

Food was absolute amazing best burger I've had in a long time the manager was extremely helpful he actually came to my table and helped me decide what I wanted so that there were no surprises. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Wanted a good burger and hadn't checked them out yet and so glad I did! The small perfect burger was super delicious and perfect as it's name suggests! Also got the BBQ tots which were spot on and the best thing was the tots were perfectly crispy! Nice location and restaurant, will definitely make them my go to spot for a good burger.

Looove the burgers but... The decision to sacrifice a high 8 top so staff can spread out their backpacks and laptops is laughably stupid! It makes for added congestion in an already smallish establishment. This time, it was during lunch; last week it was dinner. Dinner was worse as they had some dude stuffing his face with salad and open mouth masticating at the table whilst potential patrons popped their heads in and decided to dine elsewhere because the joint was packed. If Mr Bad Table Manners gave a shit, he'd have cleared his crap off the table and offered it to customers. He did not. Their burgers simply rock- solid 5 stars. Always cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The fried pickles vary a bit from visit to visit but we still get them every time.

Been coming here since they opened with the family and have had great experiences until tonight. Went here on the request of our daughter for a dinner and were promptly addressed by the bartender "coming in hot" and by hot I mean in an overly aggressive and curt way. He said he wouldn't let us sit at the bar since our daughter was underage (something we have done literally every single time we've been here since they opened). He said he's had 3 instances of a kid spilling a drink, getting a comment and another instance and that he wouldn't risk any $10,000 fines despite any stinkeyes that he has to endure... no big deal .. we won't be spending our money here anymore as that is not the way any regular or customer for that matter should be handled. They won't have to worry about paying potential fines or having the opportunity to use our money to pay their fines. This place has always had an air of being a bit snide to their patrons but this will be our last time.

The burgers are 1000% delicious. I think they were slightly understaffed today but the staff that was here moved swiftly. Being understaffed almost had us irritated, but that all melted away with the first bite of the California burger and first sip of the Maui Pineapple beer! This is a nice little place that we would surely visit often if we lived here

This place has the largest variety of burger options I've ever seen, from patty selection to toppings and sauces. There's hundreds of burger combos to try that are both vegan and vegetarian friendly. Additionally, all of the sides I tried were delicious. The fried pickles came with a good homemade ranch sauce as well as the bbq sauce with the house dry rub wings. Whatever you order, be sure to get the bread pudding because you will NOT regret it!

We came here with offline and were very impressed! Our server was super friendly and helpful. My boyfriend got the build your own chicken sandwich and it was juicy and delicious. I got the blackened salmon tacos and was nothing less than impressed, they were so flavorful and the fish was fresh! Will def be back! Beer and wine were also priced really well.

I highly recommend Town Hall! The burgers and beer were delicious!! The staff were very polite and accommodating. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. We dined out on the patio and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely visit again!

This was our first time trying this place & I'm glad to say it was an excellent experience for my family. I had the patty melt, which was nothing special but everyone loved their food. Next time I go I'm going to try the Mac n cheese burger or the Greek salad, they both looked amazing & was told they were great. They do have a selection of beers both on-tap & bottled so choose either or both, which ER your heart desires. Yes, of course we'll be back to this place & others should try it too.

I ordered their original burger and it did not disappoint. So flavorful and mouth watering. I will definitely be back.
