Detroit’s Grand River Avenue Restaurants Face Declining Sales During Roadwork - Eater Detroit

"Town Hall Caffé is facing potential closure due to a significant drop in sales attributed to prolonged road construction. The coffee shop, which has been in operation since 2013, has experienced a drastic decrease in revenue, with a 30-40% drop in August, 70-80% in September, and a projected 60-70% in October. Despite efforts to mitigate the impact, including taking a loan and working additional jobs, the owner is uncertain about the future viability of the business through the winter." - Brenna Houck

Great coffee... no really they source beans from local roasters and always have an amazing selection to choose from. If tea is more your style they have a list just for you! The place is cozy and yet fun they have artists who do shows as well as three murals inside the building!! The owner Lindsey is always there and is always willing to help you decide what to get. Definitely check them out! Ps they have awesome seasonal flavors and almond milk all house made!!!!
