Driving from Boston to Fort Lauderdale, we chose the Hyatt Place in Florence, SC, as our second stop. Conveniently located, the hotel is just across the street from a gem of a restaurant, Town Hall, which seems to be a favorite among locals and travelers alike. After parking, we took a short stroll with our husky around the neighborhood, and it became clear that Town Hall was the place to be. For dinner, we started with the spinach salad, which was fresh and flavorful—a perfect way to whet our appetites. For the main course, we ordered the Town Hall Smash Burger and the hangar steak. Both dishes were outstanding, prepared to perfection, and delivered with impeccable taste. The burger was juicy and indulgent, while the steak was tender, cooked to the ideal temperature, and seasoned just right. The restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere added to the experience. By 6:30 PM, every table was filled, creating a lively yet cozy vibe. To cap off the evening, we saved a few bites of the steak for our husky, who was thrilled with the treat and clearly approved of our dining choice. Town Hall was a delightful highlight of our journey, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind for future stops.

To start off, we absolutely appreciated the excellent service and friendliness of the host, the bartenders extensive knowledge and the chefs appreciation for perfection. In addition to this, our drinks were very tasty and had the pick me up we were looking for. The food was cooked to perfection and our dessert was the cherry on top!

The atmosphere is lovely, managing to be spacious and airy while maintaining a warm and cozy vibe. We came for cocktails and so sat at the bar and ended up ordering dinner. The bartenders - Chad and Lane - were great. They mixed perfectly balanced cocktails and were ready with suggestions when asked for drink recommendations. They make their own dehydrated citrus wheels for garnishes. We ordered appetizers and entrees and while everything was delicious, the stand out was the shrimp in this amazingly flavorful sauce and the duck entree. You think you don't like duck til you've had this. Just like a chicken thigh except the skin was way crispier and cooked so that the meat just pulls off the bone, so flavorful. It is a pricier menu, but then again, this is a nice restaurant where you would celebrate something special or take guests to impress them. This one is a gem!

Google
Great place for a nice upscale meal. I had the filet and was absolutely delicious. Cornbread for an appetizer is a must. We also had the maple brown sugar cheesecake for desert. Could have asked a nicer thanksgiving dinner.

I highly recommend this place! This is the second time we've celebrated here. The first was my husband's birthday and the second was our wedding anniversary. The service and food were wonderful on both occasions. What makes it even more special are the cards and frames they prepare for the occasion. The waiter was super nice and friendly. This is the kind of place that I would go to every week if I could.

Google
Would give more than 5 stars if it were an option. From entering the restaurant to leaving this was one of the best dining experiences I have had in years. The service, bar selection and food all top notch. We were traveling and stayed in Florence for the night and man so glad we did. The wings, scallops, hanger steak and duck were tremendous. It's hard to articulate how darn good this place is so your best bet is to eat here and find out for yourself...you will not be disappointed. Cheers to the culinary minds behind this gem and to Blake our amazing server. We will be back!!

Google
Highly recommend this place especially for special events. We made a reservation for a friend’s graduation and they went the extra step by getting him a card. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A group of 4 of us dined here on 8.15.25. Our reservations were for 7 o'clock, and they promptly sat us. The restaurant had an amazing feel to it. The menus were on wooden planks. There was a sign in the middle of the table that this table was reserved for us with our name on the placard. Super nice touch. We ordered a round cocktails, margarita's (top shelf) with grand marnier floaters. Unfortunately, the drinks took about twenty minutes to make it to the table. We ordered the wedge salads as appetizers and my boyfriend and I split one and the other couple split one period we had the garlic dressing which was absolutely amazing.Be careful because it's very strong and a little goes a long way. My boyfriend had filet the other couple. Each ordered hanger steaks and I opted for the scallop appetizer and a couple of bites of my boyfriend's steak, as i'm a very light eater. While waiting on our salads, they brought out hot cornbread and it was heaven. Hot and moist and sweet and the butter spread was perfect. Out of this world amazing. My boyfriend was able to cut his filet with his fork, it was so tender. The scallops were flavorful, moist, hot and melted in my mouth. I did not sample the food from our friends. However, they stated five out of five! I absolutely love that the kitchen is right in the center of the restaurant and we were able to watch the chefs. Prepare and fire the food in the wood fire oven. Very classy. On the downside, it was freezing cold in the middle of summer inside here. They had the air conditioner on, and it clearly works very well. Plan on spending some benjamins in here because it is a bit on the expensive side but the quality of the food is absolutely worth it.

Yelp
This was one of the best steak house experiences we have had in a long while. The food made us feel like we were back home in the country at grandmas with the upscale presentation. The atmosphere perfect for a simple nice night out or dressy date night. The service was excellent. Shout out to Carolina and The manager Cass who made several trips to our table to check on our food and service. They were both very friendly and made us feel at home. It's worth every penny! *Make Reservations a day ahead ask for a window seat, and try the Collard Greens and Crème Brûlée.

Yelp
Great location, super cute shops and other bars near by. Across from the police station so super safe. Parking around corner in lot or on the street. Service was great, servers were friendly, Becca was very accommodating. Food was worth the $$$! A definite must try.

Chris G.

Yelp
Great food and service. Really one of my favorite locations in Florence. Whether you are at the bar or dining in the restaurant has a great feel.

Charity R.

Yelp
Dinner was amazing! We were seated immediately, according to our reservation & our order was taken quickly. We started with spirit free drinks, both were delicious. Then our server recommended the deviled eggs as a fan favorite. We obliged and were not disappointed in the taste. However, I will say, I felt our oysters were a lot smaller than some of the others we saw served at other tables, so I did feel slighted in the size of our oysters (one table had oysters that were bigger than their eggs, so yeah..). It does not take away from the flavor profile, so I can't complain about that. Anyway, my rack of lamb was delicious. I mean absolutely delicious! The coconut rice was surprisingly tasty as well. I really did not expect that! I did not like the black eyed peas that were in the rice, but I did appreciate the contrast in textures. The cabbage was perfectly seasoned as well. My husband duck had a beautifully crispy skin and delicate soft meat. It was perfection on a plate. Now, the restaurant was perfectly decorated and presented as a place of peace. The tv had a fireplace screen saver and it just made it feel so cozy. I highly recommend this place. Like I said, my only problem was my oysters were so much smaller & I'm petty, lol. But overall, delicious meal and service! Oh! Also, they truly pump the food out in a timely manner! We were in & out in about an hour & never felt rushed.

Yun T.

Yelp
The food was tasteless, dry, and cold! The waitress was not well trained and did not answer the question correctly.

Yelp
This is a great spot for dinner when in downtown Florence. It's a must stop for good wine, food and service. Never had a bad experience

Chasity I.

Yelp
This place went above and beyond for my birthday dinner. The service was amazing and the food impeccable. They had a plague with my name in it, a signed card, and even a gift. Definitely way more than expected. The manager was very nice, coming to introduce herself and check on our food quality. The servicer had great recommendations. Definitely recommend the smoked trout rillets appetizer. So good. The steak I got was medium rare and made to perfection as well. The ambiance was wonderful, low peaceful lighting and not too loud around us.

Matthew D.

Yelp
Wow an awesome find, friendly staff, I sat at the bar and asked if they could make a paper plane, the bartender didn't know how and attempted it, it came out pretty good for never doing one. Had wings to start, such an amazing flavor they were offering, Thai curry. Had the my strip with blue cheese and onion purée, it was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to visit town next month and bring some of my colleagues in.

Eric C.

Yelp
Spendy, but the local raised food delivers beyond expectation. Staff was great! Interior design was spot on for the area, my team and I had a great dinner here.

Tom C.

Yelp
Absolutely perfect spare rib plate! The red beet cabbage was delicious, but a bit overwhelming for my palate. Fortunately, my wife was enjoying a roast duck leg with a generous helping of fancy mashed potatoes. We traded around a bit and we're both quite happy. Thank you for a great dining experience!

Amy W.

Yelp
Came here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The cornbread slaps and is worth the upcharge for it. They look fluffy as my chickies' butts. My husband ordered a bone in pork chop, and I ordered the roasted chicken. Both were just soooo good. I wish I had saved room for dessert because I really wanted to try the chocolate molten lava cake. Service is a bit slow in serving dinner, but you can't rush perfection. I will be returning. Drew was an amazing server.

Keith F.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Service was outstanding. We will be back!

Ashley W.

Yelp
On the way home from the beach and didn't want fast food. We weren't dressed like a date night but people didn't seem to mind. Our waiter was personable and very knowledgeable but the food.... It was exactly what we needed. Best filet I've had in a long time. The mahi was the fish of the night and it was perfectly cooked. I'm sad we were too full to try one of their desserts because they all sounded amazing. This restaurant made us want to spend more time in Florence. Worth more than a stop on your road trip!!!

Ron G.

Yelp
Celebration of wife's birthday could not have been better. The food was very good. The service was exceptional. The ambiance transports one to feel like they have been dropped off at a restaurant in NYC or some other metro area. It's a little pricy, but we will go back.

William G.

Yelp
We wanted to eat somewhere fancy for my wife's birthday and I admit the atmosphere is classy but food was not memorable. Downtown Florence, we were seated directly under the AC when it was 50 outside?? I don't mind paying for a nice meal but it has to be worth it to me. Let me explain how to take something simple, dress it up w words, then oversell it to schmuks. Pickled shrimp, sounds interesting, take garlic bread put one cut radish, one pickle, one shrimp, add drizzle, now put it on your menu & charge $15... The burger $16, two pieces beef, 2 bacon slices, lettuce, pickle, add half plate fries, give me your money don't look at the details. How about the short rib entree, ok this one's easy, make some grits, then add some roast beef in shape of meatloaf, (call it short rib although there's no bone) add chives, good to go, oh and charge $29 for roast beef are you fucking kidding, no their not. Nice atmosphere, if going to charge this much make the meals more unique. Thumbs down as it is.

Robin H.

Yelp
Food is always good with a nice menu. Service can be a bit slow. Great atmosphere and an easy walk to concerts.

Elvis D.

Yelp
We called ahead. They seated us right away. The waitress was on point. The food was excellent. Fillet with mashed potatoes. The atmosphere was peaceful. A little pricey, but great experience.

JaneAnne F.

Yelp
What a find!!! We were traveling from Florida to Virginia and happened upon Town Hall. We shared a delicious bottle of red wine and a charcuterie board, followed by the most scrumptious deviled eggs with fried oysters atop. I ordered a bone in pork chop, asparagus and roasted Brussel sprouts for dinner. My husband ordered the lamb and it was seasoned to perfection. Our meals were fantastic and the service was top notch. We even got a visit from the executive chef to our table to discuss the amazing sauce that accompanied the pork chop. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Tracy C.

Yelp
I have always had a tasty experience on every visit. The last time did not let me down. An updated menu with a new chef, everything read delicious. We ordered the short rib and filet. They did not bring a knife for the short rib as they did for the filet because it wasn't needed. Tender and delicious, melts in your mouth. Filet was cooked perfectly and the whipped potatoes it was served with made it very difficult to eat the extra truffle fries we ordered. Service was very pleasant. We are looking forward to going back. We couldn't stop ourselves from eating the deviled eggs appetizer with fried oysters but it is a must have every time!

Cal W.

Yelp
First of all I wanted to try the sausage because it had good reviews, what a mistake that was , they served me burnt toast and the waiter did ask if he could get me some more bread but we had already waited long enough so I said never mind. The place is pricey so they should make sure your food is worth the money. I ordered the Pork Chop and Brussels sprouts and they were ok but too much vinegar on sprouts. Pork chop was hard to chew. My husband said his fries were room temperature but the burger was good if I go back that is , I would only get a burger and a drink. The drinks are good. Just go to get a drink. The atmosphere was nice staff greeted me well at the door. Just go for a drink not the food.

Yelp
Ladies' Night Out at Town Hall Restaurant Downtown Florence, SC with my Beautiful Besties! The service and food was AMAZING! What we ordered: Drinks: Mascoto, Blackberry rose, Field of green mule Appetizers: Charcuterie Board, Picked shrimp, deviled eggs w/fried gulf oysters Entrée : Seafood Pirlau, whipped potatoes & brussel sprouts We had a fabulous evening!

Ralph R.

Yelp
We came in here after a long day on the road and we're not disappointed. Our server Desmond explained the specials of the day and talked each of them up. I had been eyeballing the beef short rib on the menu and it was one of the specials, so I chose it. My wife and I believe it might be the best short ribs we've ever tasted. It was served on a bed of VERY tasty mashed potatoes and carrots. I scraped my plate clean. My wife loved her wedge salad, but honestly, I think she regretted not getting the short rib. We also had the corn bread, which was also amazing. Highly recommend! It's too bad we're only here for one night and live in Europe, so it will be difficult to come back anytime soon... But if anyone else is wondering, it's definitely worth a visit.

Bob K.

Yelp
We selected this place for our anniversary celebration and we could not have been more pleased! They surprised us with a card and invitation along with champagne at our table and our server Desmond was awesome! The food was simply delicious, our filets were cooked perfectly! Cassidy, the manager was also very attentive and stopped several times to make sure we were pleased. This is our new go to restaurant for sure! All of the service, great food served in a great atmosphere!

Jeanne J.

Yelp
Amazing! Very creative menu and very tasty food. Our server, Nathan, was attentive and responsive. This restaurant is a little pricey, but oh so worth it. The names of drinks on the bar menu is great reading even if you don't drink. If you do, I can recommend the "Fairies wear Boots," a delightful concoction of Aperol, Bonai, champagne and ginger beer. It was a Aperol spritz with more complexity. The town Hall burger was a winner:generous portion of burger and fries with wonderful flavor. The wedge salad was excellent. Shrimp cooked just right. Dessert was also memorable-pecan pie cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream. We literally were just passing through, in search of something for dinner that wasn't fast food. What I find! We will be looking for reasons to return.

Siobhan P.

Yelp
Just passing through - picked a great place! Staff is super friendly and attentive - atmosphere is relaxing and has a good vibe . Had the fried oyster deviled eggs - delicious ! Maybe add a little spicy aioli to the top ?? Really hate that I did not catch our bartenders name but he wears glasses and a newsboy cap - and was great - try not to focus on the owl sitting on top of the building across the street lol

Kailynn F.

Yelp
The food is pretty good. The only thing I wish was different are more entrees for people who don't eat meat.

Edward P.

Yelp
Florence, South Carolina and the Pee Dee region in general isn't known for it's fine dining restaurants and you'd be hard pressed to find a really good one. Buffets and Barbecue are the standard around here and in fact, the Pee Dee region is a Mecca for barbecue enthusiasts. Need I say more than Scott's BBQ? However, we occasionally stumble upon a good one. Town Hall was one that my wife found. We made a reservation for any early evening time slot so we could make it to a concert later that evening. We were seated at a nice table next to a window when we arrived. The server brought us over a basket of delicious cornbread with honey butter. I think I would have been happy with a few of those baskets and just skipped dinner. They were sooo good. My wife and I shared an appetizer of Scallops with an Acorn Squash purée. Absolutely delicious. I never know what to expect when I order scallops. Too many places cook them to the consistency of my boot but these were tender and delicious with that tasty purée on the bottom. For dinner, I ordered Duck Breast with Quinoa and Carrots. My first bite was disappointing because it was over done but I realized as I bit into the second slice, it was just the ends that were overcooked because they were thinner than the rest of the breast. I was a very good dish. My wife had Garlic Shrimp, Creamed Corn, and Mashed Potatoes. The shrimp was very good and so was her mashed potatoes but she wasn't a fan of the creamed corn. I tried it and it was unusual but unique. It took awhile to figure out what that distinct flavor was in the corn. Turns out that it's watermelon. I actually liked it. It may not be for everyone though. Service was good. The drinks were delicious and overall we we happy with the restaurant.

Dan S.

Yelp
This was the most recommended restaurant in downtown Florence. We were seated at a 2 top by the window which is the only seat I would recommend (call ahead and reserve it) the beer selection was great (revelry on tap). I was advised to try the hanger steak and I'm really glad I did... It was perfect! We also ordered the octopus. It melted in your mouth...wow! We had the chocolate cake for dessert and it was dry and no better than supermarket quality. Avoid it. The restaurant was PACKED right smack in the middle of the pandemic. When we left, there were people being turned away because of capacity. Make a reservation!

Caleb M.

Yelp
Hands down my second favorite restaurant in Florence. One can't go wrong eating here. They quail dish is my favorite! I have dined at the bar each time I ate here and the bartenders are always pleasant and hospitable.

Michael H.

Yelp
We went there to celebrate our anniversary. The food, as expected, was great! We had been there before and knew it would be. However, the service was outstanding! They called to confirm our reservation and found out that it was our anniversary. They had a card signed by all the staff, a great little candle as a gift (the 16th anniversary is the "wax" anniversary), and chilled flutes of champagne waiting on us. The attention given over the evening was just right- not overbearing, but not unavailable. We'll be back for a regular special dates just because they treated us so well.

Cat M.

Yelp
When passing through Florence, SC & needing a decent dinner after driving all day - this is the place to go to! Located downtown where there is a lot of work being done to improve the town. This place is located across from the police station which made me feel better after the bad area we had to drive through to get there! Beautiful interior with lots of wood, high ceilings, & glass. We sat at the bar & enjoyed some great drinks & wonderful food. Deviled egg app is a MUST HAVE. We had an enjoyable experience & if passing through would definitely go back.

Shari B.

Yelp
This is apparently one of "the best" restaurants in the area. I am stunned after dining there for my husband's bday, guaranteed we'll not return. VERY few items of interest, but ordered the calimari. Suspect it was cuttlefish planks. It might have been battered and fried at one point, but the Miso 'glaze' was so heavy, it was swimming in a puddle. Even when scraping it off, it was disgustingly sweet We ordered the duck. Served w/Quinoa, beets and carrots. Could there be a less seasonally impacted, cheap side? The duck was poorly cooked and tough. If they better scored the skin and lowered the heat we might not have had a shrunken , shriveled nib of skin over cold, tough meat. If you want bread.. cornbread is your only choice....to buy. The side selections were primarily beige; pork rinds, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, a kale salad and black eyed peas. Bland food everywhere. We ordered the black eyed peas...those CAN be great. Nope, tasted like salt and liquid smoke. I just stopped eating. We boxed up most of dinner for the dog. Since the waiter didn't come back by for a long time...we basically gave up. Oh and they forgot the birthday detail entirely, which was listed as our 'special occasion ' I came home and warmed up a bit of French btead.

Chris A.

Yelp
Ventured into DWTN Florence this trip to St. Augustine and got very lucky walking into this cool vibes restaurant. Rez are needed so we grab a couple seats at the bar and Jamie took care of us. Menu is a nice mix of good southern food. Roasted chicken and shrimp creole we our entree's and they were delicious. Jamie and all interactions at the bar were welcoming, warm and friendly with mostly locals enjoying a Saturday evening out. So when driving on I95 grab a hotel along the interstate if you wish but then head to Town Hall.

Q G.

Yelp
We ordered a Kale salad to go. First of all, when I called they said it would take 20-30 minutes. I was like, whoa, for a salad, they must be busy. In their defense it was 7:30 on a Thursday evening. But the person on the phone asked if I wanted her to call when it was ready, I said yes, please. So I set my timer to 20 minutes and waited, and waited and waited. After 30 minutes, no call, so I went over there. Sure enough, when I walked in, it was ready. Then I said to the hostess, oh I thought you were going to call. She shrugged her shoulders and literally said: "I don't know, whatever." Then hands me the bill. I grab my cc and hand it to her, she hands me the salad. Here is where it get worse. I looked in the bag, and it was a tiny, tiny salad. Dry. With SUPER large pieces of kale. I mentioned, wow, this is pretty small. The other hostess said, "yeah well, um how was your day?" My receipt and card came back and I took the sorry looking salad and left. I get back to the hotel, open the salad and it is NOT AT ALL as described. What I got was large tough leaves of kale, two pieces of smashed egg yolk, NO pecorino and STALE cornbread croutons. Honestly, whoever made this salad as NEVER actually eaten a kale salad. It's super hard to have healthy options when away traveling. If you are looking for a healthy respite....SKIP the Town Hall.

Joey B.

Yelp
Was only in Florence for one night, and Town Hall is located across the street from the hotel we stayed in. Made a reservation, and I think that is a must because the place was very busy. We were seated promptly. Lovely restaurant. Service was perfect. We had the deviled eggs and oysters, truffle fries, crispy pig ears, and roasted bone marrow. Loved it all. Awesome experience.

Hector C.

Yelp
Food was decent. Service was pretty slow but the waiter did let us know that would be the case. I had the steak and my girlfriend had the fish. It was okay.

Krystle A.

Yelp
I had mid hopes for this place and that's exactly what it was. Mid at best. The chicken wings were dry. The deviled eggs were okay. The quail was gross but the veggies were good. The smash burger is pretty good. Atmosphere was great. Customer service was great. The food just wasn't that great.

Dave R.

Yelp
I suggested this place to meet up for dinner with frinds from Columbia. One had been a sous & pastry chef in a past life, so I needed a place that had more than bbq or pub grub. We were not disappointed!! We started with the charcuterie board sans porkskins (nah), then for entrees I got the short rib, and they got the filet mignon (yawn). Mine, especially with the coconut rice, had a 'comfort' element to it without being a salty gut-buster meal. I'd definitely order it again. The desserts (sticky toffee pudding) were underwhelming. I've made that multiple times, and TH's was more like carrot cake to me. Plus, the presentation (huge plate with a small serving) was .... just not right. Great service & atmosphere!!

Harrison T.

Yelp
Closed Mondays! I'm in Florence on a business trip, and was looking for the best restaurants in the area. Town Hall came up as #1 recommended for me. And goodness they were right. The restaurant is situated on the corner and has a charming, warm inside. Great for an intimate date night. The kitchen is open within the restaurant, giving it a cool, modern feel. I was able to sit at the Chef's table which was such a treat! Was able to watch the mastery happening in the kitchen. The service was quick & attentive and the staff was very welcoming since I was dining by myself! Shout out to Chris and Sabra! *Drinks* Town Hall has some beautifully crafted drinks on their menu. Unique flavors and charming presentation. I chose the honeysuckle mule and I would definitely order again. I love anything with floral notes *Apps* Let me preface. I wanted all the appetizers (minus the leaf bowls). My server suggested their infamous FRIED OYSTER DEVILED EGGS. Yes. You read that right. I didn't actually order any apps this visit, but they brought me a deviled egg to taste!! Wow. Wow. Wow. Grandma's deviled eggs no more. Order them. *DINNA* Again, I was conflicted. The highly recommended skirt steak or the lamb shank. I'm kinda a snob when it comes to lamb. Its my favorite protein of all time. I decided to lamb because its seasonal & may not be on the menu next time around. First, its a huge portion. UGE. The shank lays on top of a bed of cabbage and beside two roasted potato slices. The lamb + sauce was tasty. The meat was fall-off-the-bone, but reminded me of a pot roast, which wasn't my preferred consistency. Lamb was not gamey at all (I like game to my meats), but didnt take away from the dish. The star of the show for me was the cabbage. That utterly bland leaf was transformed into this tender, acidic goodness. I wanted an entire plate! Lastly, I ordered a side of glazed carrots. I ate those first. Definitely a yummy option. Cannot wait for my next visit to Florence! I'll be back for you, skirt steak.

Allison H.

Yelp
Thomas's, the grill guy was outstanding!! a true professional!! my husband had a pork chop cooked on an oak fired grill that was to die for. I had a risotto with fresh veggies and shrimp that was excellent. The cornbread melted in my husbands mouth. I have to eat gluten free so I couldn't have the corn bread. Maybe they'll make gluten free corn bread for the next time we stop on the way to Florida!

Tiffany G.

Yelp
came here for NYE dinner. limited menu but good. unique options. we shared the corn bread which was very good. I had the filet with jumbo shrimp he had braised ribs. side pork fat and side of carrots. very very good! would definitely come back if menu comes up with different options. very chill and relaxed atmosphere. thank you!

Keisha G.

Yelp
My friends and I were in town for a concert and decided to have dinner here before the show. This is a very well decorated restaurant inside, the open kitchen and open bar are beautiful to look at. It's very clean and inviting. We ordered the deviled egg oysters for an appetizer and the oysters were seasoned perfectly! The egg, however was plain and tasted like it hadn't even been seasoned with salt and pepper. For dinner, we ordered the lamb shank and the short rib. My friend absolutely loved the lamb shank. My only complaint about the short rib was that the entire dish was served to me lukewarm, otherwise it was a good dish. To bad that was that it's last night on the menu. The drinks were just ok, if we ever make it back out there I would just order wine instead. The service was outstanding, very attentive. When my other friend wouldn't eat her shrimp with the heads on, the waiter politely took them back to the kitchen, the chef took the heads off for her. Overall, I would return and definitely order the lamb shank!!

Smrithi S.

Yelp
We came here for team dinner while in Florence on work. They were friendly, and accommodating when we had to push back our reservation as we were running late. Since we were a large group, they had a private room at the back set up for us. We started off with the Crispy Confit Chicken Wings, Devilled eggs, and Carolina Heritage Pork Belly. The chicken wings were great, loved the aioli on it. The devilled eggs were amazing, loved the fried oyster on the devilled egg. The oyster was fresh, the crispy breading added a great texture. The pork belly was good too. For main course, I ordered the Seafood Pirlau. All entrees come with salad, with a choice between wedge salad and Kale Caesar. I expected a small side salad, the actual salad was much bigger than expected. The seafood pirlau was good, a lot of fresh seafood. Then got the Blueberry pancake bread pudding, to finish. It was great, loved the maple ice cream that it comes with. I also tried their seasonal pie - apricot on the day we were there, Chocolate fudge brownie, and fried beignets. We enjoyed them all.

Yelp
If you need to stop by a drink or have a nice sit down meal in downtown Florence, come to Townhall. I came here for a birthday dinner and the food and drinks were superb. I ordered the scallop chowder and loved it. The calamari was the best I've ever had here in South Carolina so it's definitely a must-try. You also can't go wrong with any of their cocktails here because the two I ordered were simply amazing. No complaints here.

Yelp
I've enjoyed this place every time I've been. The truffle fries are good. I've also tried the wedge salad and filet mignon, both were delicious as well. The ambiance is upscale, which is good for special occasions and date nights. I've always had good service as well. But with that usually comes higher prices, so be prepared to pay up. A word from one non-Florence native to others: don't expect it to compare to fine dining in larger cities in SC. But by the Florence standard, this place is top tier.

Yelp
Looked like a great place, but unfortunately wasn't for me. Nothing on the menu appealed to me so I ordered a la cart. Got the shrimp which was good, and the "creamed" corn?? It completely ruined my palate.. almost came back up. It had watermelon & im not sure what else in it, but it definitely wasn't for me and they did comp it. My husband had the duck & said it was good, but not as good as what he expected.. It was our Date night & they gave us a great table & our server was great.

Yelp
This is our third time visiting and each time the food was excellent. I had the pork chop and my husband had the shrimp Creole. Both dishes were excellent. My brother in law had the lamb shank and it was so tender it fell off the bones. My chop was a little under cooked so I had to send it back but over all it was a very good experience with family.

Yelp
.I was told the food was very good Tasted like the salt shaker top fell off Not sure what the calamari was Do yourself a favor and avoid, especially at the prices. Taco bell is better
