Had an excellent early dinner! We were amazed by the spectacular service and absolutely delicious food. I strongly recommend the baked brie and the guava & cheese bread pudding. Our server was attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

Such great service and while it lasts try the sea bass special, amazing. And the watermelon sunrise drink is so refreshing. Service was excellent and manager checked in on us as well. Update: we are here for brunch and would definitely recommend! Lovely outside seating. Avocado toast with breakfast potatoes are so good (see picture). I got a chocolate martini which was so so SO delish and my husband got the Bloody Mary also very good. Great place to sit and enjoy the Miami weather and chill.

Loved the ambiance, I love South Miami. My friends and I ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was cold. The waiter was nice enough to change it for us. We also ordered pizza with white cheese and onions, it was delicious. Our waiter was amazing. I was informed that a new ownership purchased the restaurant I went today with a friend to have lunch. We ordered the mahi-mahi tacos celebrating Taco Tuesday we also had their calamari and everything was fresh and delicious. Our waiter Joe was amazing.

Our server Rafael was super nice. Great atmosphere, the chicken wings was good but the pasta not so great.

As an event planner with P|M Events by Moe I have used Town Kitchen and Bar as a venue and I absolutely recommend it, love it, service is amazing….Shout out to Mel and Matteo..who went above and beyond for our event this past Saturday!

Omg best brunch in town and best lychee martinis people!! Check this place out. It's very modern and the attention is top. The food looks and tastes good! Get that avocado toast😍

Man. What a great place. I come here for lunch whenever I want to take a customer out and simply put......WOW. You have to eat the Brussel Sprouts. I think they are roasted. Out of hand. Not a brussel sprouts kind of guy but this is the second time Ive had them and I can’t get enough. For lunch I had the Tuna Bowl with Quinoa, raw tuna, and some other stuff topped with spicy mayo. Another great dish. Definitely coming back. And the service. Never gone wrong. Kudos to the team.

Worst experience in Miami! We went there to celebrate the baby shower of a colleague. The first waiter we had disappeared after taking the order for our drinks. He was so high that they had to sent him home. The new waiter did not comer to apologize until after 40 minutes, saying that they needed to send the other guy home. Then, took our order, 20 minutes before the end of brunch time. 45 minutes after, the manager came to our table to apologize because the brunch time had ended and they cannot fulfill our order. As a result, we learned that they did not place the order for the non brunch items either. The excuse was that the new waiters were new and they made a mistake. The food came 25 minutes after we talked to the manager and still with many mistakes in the original order. No bueno for a restaurant.

I've been to town a couple of times and I can honestly say that the food and service here is amazing. The decorum is immaculate. The last time I was there I tried the tuna tartare and it was delicious. If you're looking for modern American cuisine definitely stop by.

Stopped in to have brunch. Originally sat inside but they were having a baby shower in a private room and the noise and screaming echoed throughout the entire restaurant so we opted to sit in the patio. Moved outside and it was a much nicer ambiance. There were some aggressive vagabonds attempting to angrily sell us mangoes, but that's not the restaurants fault, just a warning on the location. Originally the service was fast, we ordered our entrees and bottomless mimosas and enjoyed two rounds until our meals came. The food was basic, no complaints but nothing special. The major reason for the low score was the lack of service after the entrees were delivered. It was almost 45 minutes before we could get our servers attention again, we saw them walking in and out numerous times but it was almost like they were purposely avoiding eye contact.

Fun local spot tucked away in Somi Good variety of food to choose from, love the half of wines on Wednesday. Victoria provided excellent service at the bar and Don the manager was very hospitable. Ambiance is upbeat and they still are managing to pull the crowd In although they removed the late night Dj. Decent happy hour but still expensive. Make sure you bring your pocketbook to keep the rounds going.

Don't recommend this place if opens again . The food has gone down in quantity and quality. And WAY UP in price. The chef ( if that's what you can call him) Alex(not his real name cause of past) is blatantly sticking fingers in the sause and licking them.. They have open kitchen. All guests could see this.The staff were treated in the worst.. after years of service to town they were fired no notice, and still waiting weeks for pay. Yet they are renovating. I give 2 star cause of memories from whe town used to be town.

So I haven't been here since the pandemic started. And they went ahead and re modeled the place and I mean they did an amazing job. Black and White job with beautiful white marble assessors and a Christmas fit with Christmas everywhere. Very nice . Service was amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered some drinks and the food came. First of all the potatoes are amazing the the country potatoes, rival, any breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere. My wife had the all the Way omelette and I have to tell you I haven't had an omelette like that in years, the flavor the ingredients, very fresh. Great toast Sourdough toast very crunchy with very good butter some mimosas and cranberry with Grey goose and it's all the way happiness. Good coffee wow even that! I had the pastrami Benedict. I have to tell you that it was amazing. It is probably the best breakfast I've had . I have had many sinceI 'm in the hospitality industry. The pastrami was Smokey and the eggs were perfectly Benedict style great hollandaise sauce, great country potatoes, I mean what else can I say? Just perfection. The server and the staff were awesome .It had me happy in a good Christmas spirit with the decorations and of course their food and their attention. Town is here to stay ! Hi

Great place for family get together. Plenty of space for large groups. Food came out quickly which is a bonus when you're with a larges group. Food is diverse, well made and tastes fresh. Great service by Sheena and Joe. Owner is very hands on and active making sure our meal and the service were to our satisfaction. Had the brie n bacon burger cooked perfectly medium, around the table we had the short rib and squid ink gnocchi, lobster ravioli, pappardelle with mushrooms and truffle cream sauce, baked brie and everything was perfect. One of us has food allergies and they made a special plate of pasta with grilled chicken.

Had the best happy hour!! Will definitely go back! Ask for rafaelito to serve you. He's the best waiter.

A local spot in my neighborhood which I love love love. This place never disappoints. I have been coming here for years and still keep coming back. Great happy hour place to meet with friends and also for brunch or any time really LOL. They have an excellent ladies night a couple times during the week as well as almost a daily happy hour. Basically, awesome happy hours. I would recommend this place to everyone. I went back again this past Saturday afternoon and had brunch. Excellent time. It wasn't overly crowded and service was good. I recommend the tuna poke as its my favorite. You can also order with salad or rice depending how hungry you are. Always a good time here. And make sure you leave some room for dessert! Also as a side note- unrelated to the restaurant, make sure to keep an eye on your parking meter expiration as its easy to forget...I got a parking ticket here once when I missed it by 10 mins.

The food here is great! I had the salmon which was tasty, calamari, and I believe it was a bread pudding for dessert which was so good!!!! If you go ask for DeeDee he's the best bartender there!

Stopped by Town for lunch for the first time in a few years and was blown away! My server, Joe, was quick, kind, and attentive!! Food came out quickly, plated nicely, and most importantly HOT! Great experience overall

Very happy to see Town Kitchen & Bar back in business. It's one of my favorite places in South Miami, and I really like some of the changes they've made during the last year. The inside dining room is much brighter now without so much of the window coverings the had before, the space feels wider and more open. The outdoor seating area bar were also updated for the better. We were advised that they're still not 100% open, but will be very soon. I can't wait.

Used to be my hangout, but life moves on. Had lots of fun there and always nice to pop my head in and see some of the regulars.

I used to come to Town years ago and was so glad to see it thriving again. My husband and I came for date night and had an amazing experience. Our server Rafael was great and extremely attentive and the manager Evan popped in a few times as well to make sure we were having a great experience. The food was DELICIOUS. We shared the tuna poke, fish tacos, mussels, churrasco and caeser salad. The tuna was my favorite but we'd order every single dish again. The espresso martini and their bread pudding (a must) were the perfect night cap. We'll definitely be back soon!

I love coming here for their lychee martinis. It's perfect for date night, happy hour with the girls, or even hosting a work event here. I tried the churrasco nachos last night and they were pretty good! Clearly forgot to take a pic before eating it all lol

Just went to Town for lunch- haven't been there in ages. Apparently it was recently bought by a new owner. I was sitting at the table basically right next to the kitchen. We could see everything happening back there. The new owner was controlling each dish and every cook/chef back there and what/when everything was coming out. The food took forever, on top of being told 15 minutes after ordering a French onion soup that there was no French onion soup today. Every person in that kitchen, including the owner, was putting together everyone's food with no gloves on. We watched the owner cough in his hands then eat a piece of food off of someone's plate. It was absolutely sickening to watch. Our waiter Jose was wonderful and very helpful. The fried chicken sandwich was very good. Despite this, I cannot see myself going back there after that experience.

Town has definitely become my favorite restaurant!! Everytime I go there I always enjoy every single minute of the experience. The food is delicious, you can tell that the chef puts so much love in executing the plates, the staff is always very welcoming and kind! The ambience is perfect as it can be very quiet and relaxing to have a great chat while dining, but it can also be fun and entertaining on their Friday Nights with the DJ and amazing drinks! I highly recommend Town Kitchen & Bar, you won't regret it!

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Great happy hour deals in addition to the regular and special menu. The food is fresh, the drinks are great and the vibe is amazing! Our server, Rafael was spectacular! Excellent service is key! I've not gone to Town in years, but after this night out, it's a must! The turkey burger was excellent, and the lentil soup was great! Calamari and sliders were delicious and the food for the kids were a hit! Go check it out and with with Rafael. You won't regret it. Enjoy!

I've been to Town twice and am really impressed by their service and the quality of their food and drinks. Their aperol spritz has the perfect amount of sweetness and is so refreshing. We got the coquettes last time which rocked my world. Service was fast and accommodating, and the happy hour deals are pretty good! Will definitely be returning soon.

The fish sliders are delicious! The service is what is supposed to be and the drinks are magnificent. Wonderful place to hang around after work or in the evenings.

The restaurant is under new ownership as of mid 2022. New menu as of Dec 2022. Excellent food quality. Athena is an amazing server. Restaurant is good for kids, does have kid menu. Prices are perfect, family of 4 with a bottle of wine under $200. Lamb-amazing, mushroom pasta- A MUST. 10/10 recommend!

This restaurant recently did renovations and the place is beautiful. There is a small bars outside as well as other outdoor seating. When you walk in, there is a bar and lounge and lounge area that's great for happy hour Tuesday through Friday 3PM-7PM. Make you sure order the Watermelon Sunrise or Peachy Breeze. The customer service was a amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. For our appetizers, we ordered the Elote Steeet Corn which is found on the bar menu and the Town Calamari from the dinner menu. The best calamari I've ever had! It was crispy, a little spicy and sweet from the sweet chili glaze. For the entrees, we had the Mussels Fra Diavolo and the Bell & Evans Chicken served with crispy Brussel sprouts. I'm not a huge fan of mussels but the sauce made this really delectable. The Chicken was juicy and tender. It was served with three sauces: curry mustard, au jus and a lemon aioli. Of course I tried all of them lol. I dipped the crispy Brussel sprouts in the lemon aioli :) Although I didn't have room, I had to order the key lime for dessert. It was mouthwatering. This place has a reputation for an older persons hook up place.... like 40-50s.... that must happen later at night. I went during the evening around 6 on a Saturday night. The place was busy lots of people enjoying dinner. We had a couple of beers sitting outside on the patio. It was nice and there was a good beer selection. The staff was knowledgeable about what was popular. Beware tho sometimes I see people smoking cigars out there... there weren't any that day and I wouldn't have stayed home f there was because of the smoke smell. The last time I went I did not have any food.... however the time before we ate inside and the food was good with good sized portions.

sorry to see the decline of a once local favorite. The staff unfriendly..the manger sets the tone. He unapologetically refused to make an egg white omelet. air conditioning broke . went around the corner and had the best egg white omelette made to order. Sad ..

if you are looking for a great time Town is the place. Food is delicious I have never had a bad meal here and I'm not a Foodie. Both Richard & Victoria make the BEST expresso martini and with my fav tequila. Music is awesome. This place will never disappoint.

This is a nice restaurant to go with a group. The inside is slightly darker than normal which is nice. I went around 7pm on a Friday night and I didn't have to wait in line which was great. I didn't get the waiters name but he did his job very well. I didn't have any entrees at this place but I did have this chocolate chip bread pudding. I have to say, it was OUT..OF..THIS..WORLD. It had a slightly thicker than normal consistency with chocolate chip pieces inside. Omg. Then they put some dressings on it that complimented it very well. Of course, I added a scoop of ice cream and voilà, one of the best desserts ever made. Lol. It is a must have when you visit this place. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is that I need to go back to try their entrees to give it a chance. I hope you enjoyed my review. Go get that bread pudding.

I hadn't been to Town for years, but took my daughter there for date night. It was a wonderful experience all around. The menu consists of simple foods prepared extraordinarily well, brought by professional waitstaff. My bacon and Brie burger was to die for. My daughter's churrasco was just as memorable, with a deliciously creamy chimichurri and sweet potato fries. Even parking was easy and available. Dinner with one drink each was $100 all in, in line with our post pandemic world, and worth every cent. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. We sat outdoors in front and it was intimate and quiet but there was still activity nearby. The female server was very attentive but patient, friendly and accommodating. We had the Maine Lobster Quesadillas and Prosciutto pizza and they were excellent. The drinks were very good too. They included an Aperol Spritz and Eight Years in the Desert Zin. Nice area near Shops at Sunset Place, easy parking and shops nearby.

Town kitchen was better then what I expected. The tuna nachos were delicious, fresh and was a nice portion size for a starter. My second recommendation would be the " farm fresh salad" the serving size is enough for two people. It's super fresh and will satisfy all your taste buds. Great spot, excellent service and lots of parking outside. Excellent restaurant

I haven't been to Town Kitchen & Bar in a while but have to say I loved the new changes they have made. The food was great, the staff was very accommodating to my dog and even brought us the nicest cup of food for him. I liked that it wasn't the typical rice and chicken option. This was real food. Will be back soon for more.

This place was a complete disappoint ment for me. We were celebrating a birthday and for the terrible service not to mention the screw up on not one two of my friends dishes and then to top things off brought one friend's dish like 20-30 min later than everyone's which was a simple MAHI was undercookEd. We should've gotten a free dinner but instead a discount and a free dessert. DO NOT go here. There's several restaurants around the same area that have way better service. If I could I wouldn't even put one star here.

-Town is one of the only places in south Miami open before 11:30 and serving breakfast/ brunch / mimosas. -There's ample parking. - Affordable options -Specials and happy hour deals everyday - Food is no fuss and usually pretty good The reason for 4 stars is the service is never great or fast. The food is good, nothing too exciting or over dramatic. Town is an easy solution to the always difficult "where do you want to eat?"

When Town first opened, years ago, it was the place to be! I LOVED this restaurant , I even had my baby shower here but unfortunately this place has gone down the drain. I HIGHLY recommend never going here, unless you love slow service, inattentive servers, uncooked fish, wrong food orders and everyone at your table being served their food several minutes apart. I've never felt the need to give a Yelp review but this was so bad that I had to share my experience. It was SO BAD that it became comical lol. The cherry on top of this nightmare of a restaurant is that they didn't even comp the entire bill!! all they did was give a small discount and took off the raw fish .. we still ended up paying over $350... thanks...anyhoo, avoid this place like the plague!!

I came here for a birthday dinner and let me tell you everything was great! We had a great server, Karla always made sure the table had everything we needed and the party was well taken care of. Now let me get started on the food, everything was extremely fresh and tasted amazing. Presentation of the meals were exquisite and the taste was extremely unique. The drinks were also great, and everything came out quickly to the table. Finally the ambiance of the restaurant was very soothing and comfortable, from the seating and table to the lighting and music. Great place to bring your family for a birthday or even a couple friends for some drinks! I highly recommend to anyone!!

Being a resident of South Miami for the past 16 years. Town has been a staple here in downtown. After the last 2 years staffing shortage, odd business hours and a shrinking menu has taken a toll on the place. When an establishment starts charging patrons $2.00 additional dollars for ice in your drink, it's a clear sign they're in trouble. Do yourself a favor and recheck your bill. Never have I been told from a manager that ordering a whiskey on the rocks comes with a $2.00 surcharge for ice.... Can't see this place staying in business for that much longer. Damn shame..

We have been south Miami locals for over 25 years and have always loved Town. This is our first time back since it reopened. We came in for an early dinner on Saturday. .. we had the croquettes, which were delicious! Ordered the salmon tartare and bacon Brie burger, both were really good but the timing of the food delivery was awful! My entree came out first, my husbands burger took so long to come out, that I finished my food before he got his food. His burger came without fries, which came after he finished the burger,guess fries were the dessert. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars, at the prices they are charging, this mishap with food timing is unacceptable. Hoping owner will read this and correct this as we hope to be back and enjoy more of this place.

As someone who frequents the South Miami area for the food and nightlife, Town Kitchen & Bar has become one of my favorite restaurants. It feels like every night is ladies night at Town, and the food/drink specials they have on a daily basis are worth visiting any day of the week. I can never visit Town and not order the Town Calamari appetizer. On ladies night the offer a half portion for half the price, which is great if you want a quick bite with your happy hour drinks. Personally, I always opt for the full size because its just. that. good. Brunch at Town is spectacular as well. The last time I was there for brunch I ordered the Ropa Vieja which is brasied short rib on top of some delicious and creamy cheese grits. Topped with a fried egg and scallions, this was definitely a breakfast/brunch made for champions. Additionally, on Tuesday nights they offer a special Taco Tuesday menu where you can pick and choose different specialty tacos. I ordered two shrimp tacos and my bestie ordered two carne asada tacos and we swapped one of each so that we can try both. They were soo delicious, you really can't go wrong with any of the flavor options they have. Five stars for always meeting my foodie expectations in service, food quality, presentation and flavor.

The service at this place is rapid, they offer late night options (that actually sound yummy & not like fast food), and there's tons of seating inside & out. As for parking, there's a paid lot & paid street parking. There's a drink special almost every day of the week. It's not a cheap place; however there are days and times to come where you don't have to break the bank to have a good experience. I haven't tried the food here yet, but I have read some amazing reviews on it. The atmosphere is very nice & ideal. It's also nice to be able to move between indoors and outdoors when coming here for drinks. Ladies night on Thursdays is ideal - free champagne for ladies from 4-7pm and then half off from 9pm-close. Only complaint is that the hours of the establishment on yelp are incorrect. It says they're open until 2am on Thursdays, but they closed at 12am. Be careful to check your bill before leaving because their computer doesn't automatically put in the ladies night special. I almost left the bartender with no tip because I assumed the bill was high due to my drinks but then he profusely apologized and said he forgot to add the special onto it. I understand, it was busy and at closing everyone wants to head home. It's more of an error with their systems - not the employees. Overall, Robert was a phenomenal bartender and even came outside to check on me and bring me another order after I decided to move outside. I'll definitely be back for another ladies night and to try the food next time! The music and vibe of the place was fun & welcoming. I definitely recommend!

Went to Town for the first time yesterday for a quick lunch. I really liked the outdoor seating they had available. Joe was my server and he was really nice and professional! He guided me through the menu with ease and I ended up really loving the items I got! Everything from the drink, to my app, and main dish! I had two items off the specials list, a tomato soup and a quinoa chicken salad. The soup had goat cheese in it and I was obsessed, joe even brought me a ridiculous amount of cheese when I asked for more (I was so happy I definitely ended up eating it all) the portions were very generous I ended up taking my salad home & it traveled very well. The food was very fresh and tasty! can't wait for my next visit

This is a good gathering location, but We will not be going back to this place. We very disappointed with the food. The calamari appetizer was salty, over cooked and smelled very fishy. I had to send my wine glass back because it smelled like saliva, yuk. My husbands dinner, the risotto came out cold and I had to wait about 10 minutes after my husbands dish had come out. We sent his food back and I shared my salmon. We finished the salmon and his dish was not out. So we just told the waiter to remove it from the bill. The manager came by and apologized for the delay and sent over more yucky calamari! No thank you.

Came here briefly for a drink before heading to dine elsewhere. Not my first time here but a very nice out door area to hang whether you are smoking a cigar or just styling and profiling.

We came here for our little one's Baptism. It was planned in a week due to a family member being on the ICU Covid floor, but we got her blessing and went ahead with it. Town seems to be going through renovations and I only knew that because they told me when I called the following day to eat brunch. It looked great to me. I spoke with Evan and everything went great! He was responsive and friendly. He made sure everything went smoothly. He even stopped to take our photos. You don't know how much I appreciated that he took the time to do that. He told us where the best lighting was and took his time. He's a great photographer and event planner. The food was delicious. The brussel sprouts, steak bites and Faroe salmon was all so good. Everyone loved it and the ambiance. The private room had everyone relaxed enough to let the kids sit by themselves. The food was served family style and glad it was that way since some people don't eat meat. I wish I had pictures to add, but I forgot to take pictures of our food. Don't hesitate if you're looking for a private party room. The room golds 35 people which gave us ample space since we were under 15.

When Town opened back up after covid I tried to be a supporting customer and go back into their establishment. They charged me almost $14 for a very small vodka and cranberry, which in my opinion is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. Since that moment in time they lost my business. They aren't South Beach and they aren't Coral Gables and no one should be charging that much for a very small alcoholic beverage in South Miami. In fact Town is the only one that does... I would think they would rather have their customers returning to come enjoy their establishment rather than trying to rip people off so that they could recoup what they might have lost during covid without snot the way to go. I am not the only one that feels this way but I'm probably the only one to post it

This place is not too expensive and the food is great. The chicken stir fry was great but I can't say the pizza also was, the Florentine pizza was not too good but it was on special for 12$ on Tuesday. The bread pudding was amazing and for 8$ you get enough for 4 people (I recommend asking them not to add the chocolate syrup) if they are able to do so, please let me know!

I'll start off by saying I had high expectations returning after the new opening. Having had issues in the past and coming back to give it another shot, I was totally disappointed. Wife and I ordered a Somi Salad. When I received it I immediately questioned the manager Tarin (I apologize for the spelling of incorrect). She said that the salad portion was good. I decided it wasn't acceptable to me and my wife and I told the server that we would not accept it and leave. He advised Tarin and she came back over to discuss it. She was super nice and very apologetic. She went as far to say that the portion size looked like they split one order into two in the kitchen. Not sure why she didn't acknowledge that when I first questioned it. Needless to say she did offer me many options and I respectfully declined. I don't want to be that person that complains and takes thing for free. What I do want is to call out an obvious issue and correct it. I was totally shocked at the portion size and would not expect a restaurant to serve that to anyone. Total fail and I hope they correct it quickly. I probably won't give Town any more chances but I hope they work it out for future customers. The manager and server was definitely nice and did what they were suppose to do.
