Towne Hall

We sat in a cozy and very private semicircular booth. The food and drinks were very good! For appetizers, we tried the feta sticks encrusted in sesame with a honey sauce, also tried roasted yellow and red beets with goat cheese. Main courses: veggie pizza & veggie stir-fry. We don’t eat much meat so veggie choices were appreciated. The decor is moderately upscale but lively! I would have preferred a tablecloth on the wood tables in dining room, but the dishes are attractive. The lounge area offers a great selection of cocktails. Main entrance staff were not very responsive upon arrival and departure (manager looked frazzled due to a busy private function in a separate room)! Our main server was excellent, however, he had kitchen top my pizza with extra baby spinach instead of the fresh basil I ordered. For dessert, the chocolate soufflé with ice cream was perfect. Overall, we enjoyed our evening and will return. (On a previous visit, I really enjoyed the grilled Tunisian octopus with a filet mignon)!

31August 2019: Dinner at Towne Hall was amazing. I had the White Sangria and my friend had a Virgin Raspberry Mojito, both were yummy. Liked the latter drink better and can't wait to try it with Rum! I enjoyed the Apricot Brandy in my unique Sangria. For dinner, I had the Beetstack with Goat Cheese and Bruschetta. Amazing! My friend had the Vegetarian Lasagna. The evening ended with Decaffeinated Espresso for my dinner companion and a brewed coffee for me! Perfect thing to end the night with! Our server, Theo was fun, informative, helpful and ensured our dinner requirements were met. Our table was a little wobbly and he even fixed that for us. Also, management was very kind and tried to accommodate our requests! One of the co-owners of this family run establishment, came to say hello. Always makes a good impression when they had so many large celebratory parties! AUGUST 2018: Our server Jordan was helpful and a wealth of knowledge when it came to food. The restaurant ensured my special requests which was very much appreciated. My choice in appetizer of the Beet and Goat Cheese Stack was delicious. My entree of Veggie Stir Fry was amazing especially the noodles. I wish I had room for dessert. I am so glad I visited Towne Hall after such a long time. Great service, good food along with some great wines. Wish they would have some more vegetarian selections (August 2018).

Really good customer service. Waiters were really fast and really attentive to details. Really delicious food. We did our corporate Christmas party and all of my colleagues had a good time.

First and last experience. I was looking forward to a nice meal and evening out. I was terribly disappointed with the food and the service.I was there for a retirement party and we had 1 waiter to serve us all (28 people). The meal I ordered had no taste. I had to ask for salt and pepper. The AC was apparently on, however we were all very hot. The excuse we got was that the door to the terrace was open, but it was not even close to where we were seated. We were given dessert menus and without any attempt to take our orders, we were brought our bills. Extremely pricey for the service and food I received. I’ll spend my money elsewhere next time.

Celebrated a friend's 40th birthday tonight and was very pleased with the experience! The short rib main course with mashed was super tasty. The portion was quite generous too. The service was prompt and efficient. There were several events going on at the same time which made it a bit noisy. Our whole group left satisfied! I'm sure that we'll be back again soon.
