TownHouse Extended Stay Hotel Downtown

The rooms are clean and spacious! The newly renovated lobby is gorgeous. The highlight would have to be the made to order breakfast with the omelette station. There are also other choices that are grab and go for breakfast. The drink selection is top tier with sodas, juices, multiple coffee and milk choices, including single serve almond milk cartons. Very pleased with this stay.

The staff, service and everything was rude we found multiple stains in the bed sheets! It definitely wasn’t a welcoming hotel at all and I will be spreading the word to make sure people don’t stay there because we are all human and should get treated with disrespectful behavior or minimalistic people

Juli was nice and efficient at the front desk! Deluxe room was clean, beds comfortable. Has a 5 cup coffee maker, so if you don't like hotel coffee, bring a filter and your own coffee. Having a bigger fridge was nice. Location is close enough to walk to restaurants and breweries! Free is a plus!!

This is a great place to stay. They have 2 separate spaces in the Queen brms. There is a queen bed up front, kitchenette & bath in the middle and another bed in the back. TV in both areas. I slept in the front and kept my things in the back. I loved it. 😍 Newly renovated in March 2025, if I remember correctly. I'm glad I booked a queen room as this one was worth it. Close places to eat all around (drivable). Prices per night were good too. 👍

it's just a horror, they fooled me, they said a room for two, I was with my wife, but it turned out that the bed was for one, and some kind of couch, like a second bed, they said there was a smart TV, it turned out to be a prehistoric monitor, it's a horror I hadn't seen even in Bangladesh.

Made reservation w credit card day before, 3 adults, 1 dog. Asked for 1st floor due to rescue dog that doesn't do stairs, elevators. Arrived and given room on 2nd floor as first floor was full . Cancelled reservation and room fees not refunded at time because manager was not there in afternoon. If no refund, will write another review. Thankfully found an accommodating motel in area but rushed to get to event in town.

For the price, this motel is excellent. Rooms are newly renovated and clean, and the internet us fast and reliable. The location is great, as I can easily walk to many restaurants in downtown Lincoln. The staff is very friendly, especially Juli the manager. I've stayed at the $150+/night places in downtown Lincoln but I keep on coming back here.

The amazing city of Lincoln,NE is where you would go to find this great place. The reason for such a great rating on a building that is refurbished and newly renovated is a great place to be. Look at staying at Town house Extended stay even if you are only here for a week or just even 1 night stay this is a great place to be to lay down and rest and re charge urself after a busy day. My family and myself are staying here because not just because are situations in life but we enjoy it here. I and my family are very happy with the staff and employees that work here. Place has decent staff, kitchen built into the rooms. Would say it's decent and clean. The Extended Stay is literally nice and quiet. I'd recommend this a 5.0 Star Extended stay. This place much better than the Magnuson hotel over by the Airport in Lincoln NE.

In the 80's my family along with other families stayed here each year when NE State Fair was still in Lincoln. My mother stayed here in 2017 while my dad was in Bryan Hospital. My husband & I stayed here last night October 12, 2024. The rooms are always clean & the staff is always nice & very helpfu!! The rooms are spacious with a full size fridge & kitchenette if you need it-dishware included. We got a room with a queen bed & a couch. The bed is absolutely amazing! I slept til 30 minutes before check-out cuz it was that good!!! The price is right too-not crazy expensive. Definitely would stay here again!!!!

I wouldn't give this place even one star but to leave a review I have to. Me and my family had a fire in our attached garage so because of the smoke damage we had to leave our house for a week. Red Cross paid for the first 3 days then the rest came out of our pocket. They gave us a $20 discount for 5 days then made a big deal out of giving us the discount. Charged us for everything they could. Including $20 a piece (doggie rent) per day for my mom's 2 little Shih Tzu's. They were never at the front desk. They were in their room behind the desk. We would stand there for quite awhile for service then they were rude. And I forgot to get my cash deposit back when we checked out and of course they didn't offer it or try to contact me about it. Even though they had my phone number and address. Still haven't got it. A year later...

The WORST hotel I've ever seen!!! The smell is intolerable, it's filthy and old! We paid 72.00 plus tax and it's more like a 29.99 a night establishment. I'd like to also add we were up in the 3rd floor and noticed the windows opened all the way with no screens or safety latches! Don't think that's to code. Upon check out (3am) some lady on drugs was blocking the exit and was questioning us as to where we were going. The staff of duty was present and his concern was that we brought the luggage cart back in the building.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Awful service. Booked through another app. When I first arrived. I realized I forgot my ID. Told them I would be right back. When I came back. They told me my ID(driver's license) was fake. I tried to show them my work ID, school ID and my cards with all my names. They wouldn't let us stay because they said my ID was fake. They could've called the police and have them scan my ID. Extremely rude, told me I need to bring the person whose ID that was up there. When it was me. Then told me to call and make the reservation under my friends name I was with because he has an ID also. No problem. We called the app. The app was quick to respond. Called the hotel. Hotel told them for us to go up there. We go inside again and he basically says they aren't going to let us stay there. Aren't going to give our money back. No refund and app couldn't do anything. Trust me I'll be pushing the issue to get my money back.

Had just arrived in town and needed a one night stay so I decided to give this place a shot because I'll be here for six weeks. Good thing I only gave this place a one night shot because it's stunk in my room. My room came with a full size kitchen all dishes were dirty the stove was dirty and had food on the counter. It smelled like Indian food throughout the whole hotel and had cigarette butts throughout the outside. Do not let these pictures fool you they are older pictures from about eight years ago this was brand new they are not new anymore it is very run down and being worked on. The kitchen is not clean the beds are not made like this the furniture is not new as shown in the pictures it is an old place.

Yikes! This place is scary. This was the only place I could find a room in all of Lincoln when we attended a Huskers football game. Two night minimum at $210/night. There is so much work that needs to be done to get this property up to speed that I would think just tearing down the building and starting over would be easier. We actually slept on top of the covers and didn't use the kitchen or shower. Both looked like I might need a tetanus shot after using either one. Our floors were sticky and the room smelled. Not sure what happened in the bathroom prior to our arrival but someone wrote HELP in black sharpie marker near the light outlet. This entire property needs HELP. On the positive side, a pawn shop and blood plasma donation center are neighbors if you want to go shopping or make some extra money.

I was booked here as a guinea pig by the company I work for. I knew it was somewhere I didn't want to be as soon as I walked in. The whole place has an old musty smell. The rooms seem to amplify the smell. The ceilings have water damage as if the room above flooded with shit water. The furniture is dirty and damaged. Nowhere to put any of your stuff. Oh by the way it smells!! The worst part is the other guests. Got a weird out of place "wrong number" call. I swear this has to be a drug hotel. Stay away.

Terrible customer service. Was quoted a price in person came back to pay quoted amount and was told that it wasnt going to work but would be almost $20 more. Was told that i am wrong and wasnt told that price. Acted like he called manager and manager said he didnt care about customer service would rather not sell rooms unless he got what he wanted. Crazy experience , coming from hospitality back ground im blown away

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Dirty and in disrepair. Maintenance is lacking. We reported seeing cockroaches (or beetles as they told us) cracked and falling plaster, cracked tiles on the floor, broken appliances. A pest control service sprayed my room without my knowledge while I was gone from the room. Customer service was nonexistent. Rooms were not as advertised. Would not refund our nights stay. Would not recommend this for anyone especially families with children.

This place is definitely inexpensive and in a good location. If you can get past the incredibly moldy shower curtain (see photo) and the tub full of someone else's hair, it's not a bad place to stay.

This is/was by far the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. The other negative reviews and accompanying photos are spot on. The office chairs are disgusting and stained, mold under the bathroom sink. We were in a handicap accessible room, the shower had rolled up towels in place to stop the water from flooding the floor. The hand held shower sprayed half the water out the side of the hose. There was no cradle to rest the shower head in. I got up at 4am to use the bathroom, only to find COCKROACHES having a party in the sink (no lie) The noise from the nightclub around the corner kept us up all night. Our neighbors were seedy as anything and their room and hallway smelled of something unnatural and illegal burning. STAY. AWAY. The price in NOT worth the stay. The towels in the bathroom looked like they should be hanging in a Jiffy Lube garage. Total nightmare.

Affordable, quiet, CLEAN, comfortable. Dog-friendly and non-smoking hotel. Will def stay again.

I was working in Lincoln temporarily and my job put me up in this hotel for a couple of months. I was housed in this hotel two years ago as well when it was the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel. Now they are under new management with a new name and, I must say, it doesn't seem to have improved matters any. To start with, I'll say the maids are very attentive and will come around with fresh towels every day if you want them; although, most of the towels are so threadbare you wouldn't want to use them twice. Like most hotels, they'll give you soap, shampoo, and even dish soap whenever you need it. Maids will "clean" your bathroom and vacuum once a week. That's pretty much where the amenities end. The kitchen is advertised as being "fully stocked," but that means dishes and silverware. There are two electric burners to cook on, no oven, but a microwave. The cooking equipment consists of one medium-sized sauce pan and one medium-sized frying pan. Neither of which have lids and both of those items have scratched up teflon (Which you're not supposed to use). At one point I went to the front desk and asked for a new sauce pan, because it was so scratched up. The guy gave me another used one that was a little less scratched up. There is a very old small cutting board, but no knives that will cut anything...only four steak knives that are so flimsy one broke on me. The carpet is old and filthy. There is tile in the kitchenette and bathroom that is also never scrubbed. I was afraid to walk around in my bare feet and, and when I did, needed to wash them from being so filthy after just walking around the room for an hour. The bathroom tub was also very dirty and never got scrubbed the entire time I was there. There was a floor lamp in the room that was literally falling apart when I went to turn it on and off. At one point while I was there, the owner (Guy from the front desk) came in and replace all the light bulbs with harsh white florescent ones, which gave the whole place the comfy feel of a Phillips 66. Then he bragged about how he thought those lights were so much better and he liked the look of them more. Luckily, he accidentally left behind one of the old bulbs (Which was also a florescent, but a warmer color), so I quickly switched it back. He also bragged about how they were going to do a "major remodel" of the place in the coming months by replacing the carpet and painting walls (Which were rather dirty). This will help, but it definitely needs more than this or the new carpet will end up looking like the old stuff in a matter of months. Once last thing... The wireless internet is the WORST! So slow...particularly at night! I'm convinced it's because they don't password protect it at all, and everyone who either lives or works in the area is also using it for free. When I was here two years ago, a lot of these same problems existed, but at least they took steps to password protect the internet and didn't have the connections problems they do now. Ridiculous!!! If I am back in the future, they'll need to do a lot of convincing to get me to stay in this place again.

We were passing through Lincoln and needed a hotel near downtown. This place was close and reasonably priced at $67 per night. We checked out the reviews and said fuck it, its close. Unlike many other reviewers, we didnt see any cockroaches but we basically went straight to bed. I would not be suprised to have found some if we looked. Anyway im going to break my review down into positive and negative categories. First the positive: the price was good which really needs no explanation. The bed was comfortable as fuck! I mean top to bottom. Great mattrass, great pillows, nice warm blanket. We slept like the fucking dead. Better than the mattrass/pillow configuration I have at home. The proprieter was also very very nice. And they had Zest soap in the room. Thats right, they still make that shit. Who knew? Now for the negative: The smell. The owner and family were Indian and live on premises. I like Indian food as much as the next guy but fuck me!! Even on the second floor it was like sleeping in the kitchen of an indian restraunt. Im fairly certain all of my clothes smelled like curry after we left. I wanted to run up to the top floor to see if the smell of indian food had actually permeated the entire building but didnt because I also wanted to get the fuck out of there. I dont gamble often but Id bet every floor smells like a front row seat at an indian buffett. Its an extended stay place so it has a microwave and dishes and shit in the cabinets. The glasses were filthy. I mean, I used one anyway but I wasnt happy about it. There were 2 big ass tv's with no working remotes. Its the little things right. They get waaaay too many good reviews which leads me to believe those crafty bastards are somehow manipulating the internet but I digress. Bottom line Id probably stay there again but expect a 2 star experience.

I put myself and crew there because I couldn't find long-term because of Huskers games. Agree with Daniel for full description. If we hadn't got back in time he would have sold our parking space for 1st game. Charged me extra $35.00 a night for game nights (4 rooms). Glad this is a short term job.

I am defiantly pleased with our stay here. We did not experience a single issue. The front desk employee was super nice and helpful with directions. I am traveling with Cats (a lot of places don't allow) and they had no problem didn't even say they needed to stay in crate! There is a full fridge micro and burners. We didn't cook but there appeared to be a fully stocked kitchen that would have allowed us to cook if we wanted. I read the other reviews and I must say our room was spotless. New carpet and shower curtain. Oh and the towels were fine. Looks like this place may have done some upgrades but overall for the price I'm 100% satisfied.

Can't get better in this price. Its in Downtown of Lincoln and close to all government offices and University. Nice, Clean and Comfort. Quite place with wonderful WiFi Internet services. Front Desk super helpful with all information that needed at check in time. Completely new carpet in rooms and hallways. well equipped kitchen and fresh linens. Great place to stay. Everything was fine and will come again in Lincoln this will be by 1st preference.

When I arrived on the property with my children, we were greeted by an ashtray stand filled with water and floating cigarette butts; the smell was awful. The lobby was shabby, but we went ahead and checked in. The room smelled stale with cigarette smoke and dog hair. The pillows were flat, greasy, and stained, and the pull-out sofa had stains and burn marks. The window screens were torn and warped. The towels were scarey, too. Within minutes my daughter started having asthma issues, and I knew we couldn't stay here. The pictures look nice, but the place is not at all.

Rooms were clean and nice. Had some issues with the overnight front desk clerk. He called about a noise complaint and we said we would go to bed and he would not listen and called the cops. However the manager contacted us after our stay and was helpful and understanding.
