"This easy toy shop (which has a second location at the Brentwood Country Mart) is on speed dial for kids birthday parties, since they do great gift wrapping and local deliveries. The shelves are lined with everything a kid could ever want, and we appreciate the emphasis on IRL, low-tech toys like the Etch A Sketch, blocks, trains, puzzles, kites, and stuffed animals."

Yelp
Must watch my video. It's is completely unacceptable to support this business. I made a trip to this place with my 4yo week of Christmas and he was so very excited. He patiently waited for 15 min and when we got to the cashier to pay out of excitement my son tossed the very small stuffed porcupine on the counter (with a super big smile and excited) and the lady grabbed the toy and threw it across the store screaming "DO NOT THROW SHIT AT ME". We all froze. Completely in shock to her reaction. I had never experienced such behavior my son was on the verge of tears so I very politely said actually we're ok and started walking out. She continued screaming "alright adios, don't come back" and very loudly telling everyone at the store "I don't like people throwing shit at me". All while kids are listening. It's been 2 weeks and my son still asks "why was that lady so angry at me". I made this post and she somehow deleted it. I will forever remember this encounter. There's no reason why anyone should support this business.

Yelp
I needed gifts for my friend's 1 and 3 year old. They were so kind and helped me find the perfect gifts! The gift wrapping is gorgeous and will be very well received. Highly recommend this shop and love that we still have great local places to shop. Thanks so much!!!

Yelp
We drove down from Santa Barbara for our friend's daughter's 4th birthday and we're in need of a gift. Toy Crazy was amazing!! Not only did they have a little girl's Spa Set (which is what she wanted) but they had a Bath Bomb making kit, and so many other adorable, unique gifts. I was able to find something for the little brother too (because you can't just bring a gift for one child and not the other when they're 2 & 4 yrs old). The girls working we're so friendly and helpful, I was able to be in and out in less than 30 with gift wrapped!! Yes, did I mention they even gift wrap?! I wish we had a Toy Crazy in Vegas, all my nieces and nephews would be so happy. Thank you Toy Crazy you made her birthday special and our job so easy.

Yelp
Looking for a toy for the young or old? Look no further. Toy Crazy has it all. A airy bright homey toy store in the Malibu Country Mart. From the owner to each staff member, you'll find a energetic, helpful helper in finding what you need. They offer free customized gift wrapping, delivery or mailing. Your wish is almost their command. They know each kid in the area, a must stop shop. Go and have some fun!

Yelp
I love this classic toy shop located in the Malibu shopping Centre, the ladies are really friendly and offer to wrap the toys if there are for a gift. Wrappings are beautiful! There is a great little kids park two seconds away and high end restaurants and clothes shops.

Yelp
So cute! I didn't even know places like this exist anymore- reminds me of the toystore my dad & I would walk to in Belmont Shore when I was little. A nice 'reset' than buying off Amazon or Target. Unique finds and a lot of classic toy options as well. I'm glad the playground by our house doesn't have a toystore right next to it- can be dangerous... genius location.

Yelp
Owner does not enforce mask policy and instructs her employees to not ask people to wear a mask if they come in not wearing one. This is especially offensive since this is a kid's store and many children are not vaccinated. I couldn't bring my 2 year old into the store tonight because a family inside refused to wear their masks. This is actually the second time this has happened. Never coming here again.

Yelp
Okay, in my opinion a toy store should feel good the second you walk in, it should be about pure pleasure, fun, and finding some goodies. Especially...the goal is to walk out of there with a BIG smile on your faces. I mean we're talking toys here! Well, this place was a treat find. Second time we've been there. It's a long drive to hang in Malibu - but this is now a stop too. It's a wonderful store. Again, second time and still whoever was working that day...awesome. I believe her name was Tracy? If she reads this - I was the goofball giddy and silly woman celebrating my anniversary with my family. She was super sweet. Super friendly. Made each and everyone feel EXTRA special. We chatted, we giggled. And yes! We got goodies and walked out with a smile. Now THAT is a toy store and a great way to do business. Made these customers feel special and go home with loot that keeps them smiling.

Yelp
My son Ryder and I stop into Toy Crazy at least once a week, we buy small toy animals for his collection. The staff are what keep us coming back as often as we do. Tracy (manager) goes out of her way to be cool to us. As soon as we enter the store we hear "Hey Ryder!" Going to Toy Crazy and getting the animals is a must stop when we go to play at "Hammer Man Park" as Ryder calls it. I hope this place sticks around forever.

Yelp
UNETHICAL! I purchased an item and brought it back 15 minutes later and they would NOT issue a refund. The young girl was extremely snarky and rude. This is highly unprofessional and insensitive. I will not recommend this store to anyone. I bought clocks and other toys which broke same day. I'm with NOT crazy about Toy Crazy. Good luck in this climate with your lippy teenaged employees.

Yelp
This is your old-fashioned has everything toy store. They have the beloved Brio, Hapes, Playmobile, unique stuffed animals, art supplies you name it. I am on toy lockdown ordered by my daughter but I left with a wooden SHARK wall clock made in Massachusetts and a stuffed STING RAY that can be used as a pillow for my little grandsons. I was offered free really cute gift wrapping. Melissa can help you choose appropriate aged toy if you have any doubt. Bypass Target and show up to the party with something special and enjoy the process to boot!

Yelp
They are open! Tracey helped us find a game for the beach. But they have so many toys for boys and girls! Oh and great service. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I love this place. It has always been go to for finding those toys you cannot find at the Commercial places, and not to mention finding those things reminisce of my childhood for my kids and gifts alike. Including adult gifts. The small town feel, fab customer service and great variety is so cool. Its a go to for popping in even when I do not need anything. They gift wrap too and the prices are well in line....

Yelp
This is our go-to toy store. Toy Crazy carries only quality brands, and a very good diversity in selection. They don't keep a deep inventory beyond what is on the shelf at the store, but they rotate the toys they carry, so going to the store is an experience where you might discover something new. (Turns out, that's much more enjoyable that being able to find everything and anything - including lots of junk - online.) The staff are familiar faces who always respond positively to requests for help when asked.

Yelp
People that work at toy stores that don't like or have no empathy for parents of children really confuse me. We have shopped at this store consistently for years. I have bought all my children's bday presents, Xmas presents here as well as presents for birthday parties. Today we came in with our children and the two women were openly rude to us from the moment we walked in. I won't go into details but they seemed very irritated at our children's excitement for walking into a toy store. My child made a joking comment that his parents were on Earth when they asked where we were(he is 11 btw). Side note: we were on the other side of the store with our baby as our boys looked at Legos. yes I understand this is a sassy comment from a preteen. He was with his little siblings and slightly bored at a toy store. Usually I would have told him that was not a nice way to respond, but I didn't hear him as we were on the other side. The women were talking loudly back and forth to each other as if we weren't there about what he had said, and not nicely about us. They weren't being any more polite then an 11 year old. So really I should have corrected both the older women and the 11 year old preteen as they were acting the same way(sassy). My son later said he was saying a joke and didn't think they would find it offensive. We bought 100 dollars worth of toys anyways because we do Everytime we go in there. Please just don't work at a toy store if you don't "like" or can't "deal" with children . I also understand that they are probably projecting a bad day onto us. With that being said, it's not a nice way to be treated at a children's toy store. It should be a joyful sweet memory of childhood and the store you always went to as a child. Instead we left feeling judged and frowned upon by two older women gossiping about us and our children in front of our faces. my husband gave me his credit card because he refused to give them money and really didn't want to make a scene. They weren't worth letting our kids down on one of their birthdays . Anyways I don't want to sound sassy but it really upset me and this is an honest review. I hope they can find it in their hearts to not make families feel judged. She could have kindly pulled me aside and said hey your son made a joke that triggered me, and I would have handled it. End of the day I don't even think it was that big of a deal(what he said as a joke) Peace and love y'all.

Yelp
This is my all time favorite toy store. While it's a little far from the Westside it's worth the drive. Park in the back parking lot, and sneak in the blue, french, door. They have gifts for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary-aged children. Stuck with your kids for the day? No problem! There is a Thomas the Train table set up, or a buggy and doll usually hanging around the middle of the store so you can shop while your kids play. Voila, everyone leaves happy!

Yelp

Yelp
This toy store is very well stocked with quality toys. We have purchased a lot of cars, stuffed animals, and sticker books for my son here in the past 20 months. HOWEVER, I am still very offended by one of the workers, or owner, or whomever she was because of a comment she made. My son was overtired and playing with their train set. He starting having a meltdown around 3pm and if you are a parent of a human being you know what I mean. Yes, we should have just left quickly, but it was the first time he played with trains so he didn't want to leave. He started screaming. The worker or owner came over and kind of "disciplined" him without my permission. She also recommended for me to give him Benodryl if it happened again in the future. I was too stressed at the time to start a confrontation about medicating my child, but based on that incident alone, I will not patronize that store again. Note to that worker or owner or whomever you are.....do not work in a toy store if you can not handle kids having meltdowns. Walk across the way and find a job at a clothing store where adults have meltdowns.

Yelp
I went in to purchase a gift at this store. The total came to about $50.00 and I handed the salesperson a $100.00 bill. She promptly told me that they would not accept the 100.00 bill. I thought we are not at a gas station be are at a retail store and I am spending half of it here. She went on to tell me that they would not accept it since they get a lot of counterfeits. I told her that they have a pen that banks and other business use that check for counterfeits. She replied that they do not work. She also told me that I could go buy something at the restaurant close by and get change. I was in a hurry to get the gift in the mail so I went ahead grudgingly and did this. So I go to the sandwich shop next door and spend $10.00 and give them the hundred. They were quite happy to accept the cash. I felt bad giving them a 100.00 for a ten dollar purchase but again was in a hurry so I did. Sad to say that they restaurant was much nicer than the toy store clerk. Also, when I tried to tell her a story to ease the situation....(why am I try to make everything better since it is not my store....)) she went on to treat me like I was a liar. Anyway, I thought cash still worked in this world. I don't like being treated like a criminal when I am trying to buy a gift for my nephew.
