Best New Restaurants in Queens, July 2025: According to Eater Editors | Eater NY
"At Tozton, there are huge portions of boldly flavored Peruvian-Venezuelan dishes and day-long happy hour specials. The palm-sized pastelitos have a golden-fried crust; they come with five saucy fillings, including ground beef and cheese. The two ceviches (fish and mixed seafood) come with sides such as fried shrimp and aji amarillo-seasoned mashed potatoes (they’re liberal with their rocoto pepper in their ceviches, if requested spicy). The pabellon — shredded beef, rice, beans, fried egg — practically drips off the already-large plate. The bolon con carne features tender beef with cheese-stuffed plantain balls. The $6 margaritas and mojitos are a steal from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., but don’t miss the tangy lulo shake, with bits of fruit." - Caroline Shin
