I ate here 5 years ago, almost very week when I was a student, the bun was very good from texture of the bun to the taste of pork filling inside back to those days. I then moved to LA so I did not come back the area much, until today my family from Vietnam came to visit us in L.A. They wanted some Banh Bao for breakfast, I came and bought 1 box ( pork) at $14.00. Cashier was very pleasant and nice, lovely. Got home and ate 2 buns as attached picture. Such a disappointment, my family asked me what kind of bun they were!? I tried and omg the dough was sticky and wet, seem it was not cooked well or something I am not sure but it like you are chewing a starch in your mouth. The pork filling is still ok. We decided to eat the filling only. My wonder how come a very good authentic Banh Bao like TP can go down to the hill with such terrible quality buns like that. Not mention bun color and shape is not banh bao but like an ugly broken mochi ball with meat inside. Disappointed and frustrated at same time.

Google
This is seriously the dumpling heaven. They have so many flavor options, and the durian dumpling? You won't find that anywhere else. I love that the dumplings are small, so you can try a bunch without getting overwhelmed. Most people go for the box deal—definitely the best value. Only downside? Parking is a bit of a nightmare.

Heard few people talked about the new Vietnamese's Steamed Bun/Banh Bao, at Banh Bao T.P. I had to try it and went there to get some. The service was pleasant and crowded. The pricing is little high for the small version compared to the original Steamed Bun. The taste was ok and not great. I still preferred for the original from few places I knew and the one my Dad made is lot better than the new version Banh Bao. I guess this is a trend, but it is not for me. I like to air fryer it after the steamed Bun, taste more crunchy and better.

Google
If you're looking for some good banh baos, you can't go wrong with TP! Not only do they have a variety of baos but they also have them hot and ready for you to grab on the go. And if they don't, they'll heat up a fresh batch for you. Dropped by this morning and I appreciated their quick and friendly service. I had to wait less than ten minutes to receive a freshly steamed batch of bbq pork banh baos. Definitely hit the spot when i devoured it right after. Covid-19 has been rough on a lot of businesses so I appreciate their efforts and friendly customer service. Until next time!

This place is going down hill. Banh bao Cade was terribled. There was no tasting of eggs, just powder mixed with favor food and sugar. It tasted worse than the frozen one sale in the market. How can they charged $18 for four? It is not worth more than $5.

Google
Always to go 1 - 2 banh bao special with quail egg or salted egg yolk to bring back Bay Area. Their banh bao is the best in the town. Great amount of bread & meat. First time tried banh bao chien (deep dried version) $1.50 each. It was crispy outside but not oily & sweet savory inside. Soooooo good. Price seemed to be increased but worth it. Special with quail egg 1 box $14.50. Salted egg yolk 1 box $15.50.

Google
You definitely have to come here for the deep fried banh bao! They can provide the service to any of the filling types. Small little place but food is absolutely delicious!

Google
Yummiest and flakiest pork Pate Chaud in OC! I purchase over 20 items every time I'm able to stop in

Yelp
TP Banh Bao 2 offers steamed buns with Vietnamese fillings at reasonable price. They do offer a deal where you buy eight get ninth free. I wanted to try a bunch of flavors and made a mixed box. Easy to warm up at home, either 30 sec in microwave or 8 min in steamer. #1 Pork Egg Sausage is solid, pork stands out as taste with sausage as some twang, very much a Vietnamese flavor rather than a Chinese pork seasoning. #5 Pork and Taro tastes similar due to pork but texture seems to have smaller ground pork and the taro is smooth and binds together, seems more cohesive, slightly sweeter due to taro. #8 Chicken Salted Duck Egg, tastes like normal egg, less umami than pork but still moist and a good option. #14 Durian Salted Egg custard is close to a typical Chinese salted egg dessert bao, only slight durian smell after cut open. #15 Taro is solid dessert, smooth paste and not too sweet. Plan to stop by again to get more buns to go.

Yelp
Save your $$. Get the big boxes. I remember coming here before and feeling meh about the buns but I was hungry and decided to give it another try. For the size, it's not worth getting them individually. Get the big box! The lady helping me was sweet. Quick in and out. So many people were ordering boxes ahead of me and I thought I was relatively early at 11 am!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped at T.P. Banh Bao 2 in Garden Grove. We ordered the Banh Bao Thap Cam Trung Cut (#2 on their menu), it's a Vietnamese steamed bun with pork filling sausage, and quail egg, and oh my world--they were incredible! We love the ones with the quail egg--the small egg is just perfect for these baos. The breading was unbelievably fluffy and soft, and the filling was packed with flavor and super moist. We ordered four boxes, and each one came with nine perfectly sized banh baos. We knew right away we had to bring some back home to Sacramento. I was told they sell out early if you don't come in time, so it's best to go in the morning. If you get there early and order on the spot, the baos come warm and ready to eat. But since we had a long drive ahead, I asked if they had any cold ones we could store in a cooler. The lady at the front was so kind and helpful--she packed up cold ones for us and even gave us reheating tips. She said to pop one in the microwave for 40 seconds and they'd be good as new--and she was absolutely right! She also mentioned that if you keep the baos in the refrigerator, they're good for about a week. Once we got home, we froze them in freezer bags. Now whenever we want one, we just take a bag out of the freezer and defrost it. When we're craving a quick bite, we pop a bao in the microwave for 40 seconds and it comes out just like fresh. Even after being frozen for weeks, the baos still taste amazing--no sogginess, no loss of flavor, just pure deliciousness. And here's a fun tip: my husband saw my brother (who lives in Orange County) eat one with Sriracha, and wow--total game changer! It made the bao taste even better. So if you like Sriracha, don't knock it 'til you try it! We notice they have several locations and the closest one to us is in San Jose! We're already looking forward to our next visit. 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Got their 5 best different flavors, #2, #3, #7, #8 and #10. Glad Jenny labeled them on the container. She's very efficient and patient. All the banh bao I got are the best. The dough has the right texture and moist and the meat are flavorful. Even after reheating them in the microwave, the overall quality didn't change at all. It's a small, clean and well organized store in a plaza with enough parking. It's worth the trip.

Yelp
Located in an unassuming strip mall one will find this Bao bakery. There are a variety of choices, pork, chicken, taro and veggie which are sold individually or in a box. One can mix varieties to complete a box or purchase them individually. The chicken and egg was very tasty, ample filling to bun ratio. The veggie bun was also well filled and flavorful. They're served warm and ready to be eaten. The lady behind the counter was friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Been a customer for many years but I guess not anymore . Luckily, I didn't put the bun in my mouth like I normally do .

Yelp
I was excited to discover a shop that sells only banh bao. I picked up a few boxes while I was in SoCal and brought them to a potluck, where everyone thought the baos were tasty. However, I did wish there was Chinese sausage in them. I definitely will be stopping by again!

Yelp
I have been a regular at a local spot for many years and I always recommend it to my friends who visit from out of town. Whenever I go there, I cannot resist buying a box of their steam buns. I often end up buying a few more boxes for my family. After so many visits, I finally decided to write a review and give them the recognition they deserve. What sets these steam buns apart is their perfect balance of meat-to-bun ratio. Instead of focusing on too much bun, they put all their effort into creating a delicious filling. The combination of pork, sausage, and egg in these little wonders is absolutely amazing. The meat filling has a delicious savory richness that is balanced by a subtle sweetness, and the bun has the right texture and flavor. The service at this place reminds me of Vietnamese to-go culture - simple, yet sincere. The pace might feel fast, and the interactions might seem short, but there is a genuine connection beneath the surface.

Yelp
Lots of people come here and I see why. Might be a line but it moves fast. These banb baos are delicious. Much smaller than at the food to go places but the quality is amazing. The filling is super super flavorful and many different types of fillings to pick from Also love how they have the deep fried banh baos which I haven't seen anywhere else and it's delicious also! Just get one of each or even a box!

Yelp
Picked up some steamed buns last Saturday... #1 and as previously mentioned there is plenty of meat-to-bread ratio in these buns! 9 Buns for $13.00 and yes they charge tax if you use a card... but HEY they accept credit cards that is usually not the case in these places. Also, they had a wide variety of buns to choose from - both savory and sweet. Counter service was fine, though I detected a wee bit of a language barrier, which didn't affect the transaction, when she wasn't sure of something the Guy in the back would come up and answer or clarify for us. Mama Sassy Pat (my neighbor's Mother is visiting) LOVED the fried buns she said they were capital D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S Delicious ((smile)). Located in a strip mall on the corner of Euclid and Garden Grove Blvd. on the West side of Euclid, parking is available here as well as other Asian restaurants and Dalat Market. Respectfully Reviewed.

Yelp
[I only write real reviews based on my experience] The lady at the counter was so RUDE! I was in OC with my family and we happened to be in the area so we were searching on yelp to find a place that sells buns. So this place popped up in the search and we saw high rating so we decided to stop by at this place to get some buns. My sister and I were walking to this place, the moment we stepped our feet into their place, the lady at the counter immediately asked us to order. It was less than 5 SECONDs that we just got there. We told her that we were not ready to order yet because we needed to look at their menu first. That lady who was helping us looked so pissed for some reason and she talked to the other lady who walked from the back and spoke something in Vietnamese after we told her that. I think she was talking bitchy about us. I believe she was the owner, but what kind of OWNER behaves like this? They are supposed to be friendly with customers. Anyway, back to where I was. So we ordered a few boxes of their buns, and 1 minutes later, the lady walked back from their kitchen and gave us the frozen ones. We were shocked because we expected buns to be steamy and warm. So we ask the lady to microwave them for us so we can eat in the car. The moment we asked her to do that, she gave us another pissed look. In my mind, I was like "What the hell?". I was there to buy their buns not to beg for their FREE food. While they were microwaving our buns, there was a white lady walking into their store. Guess what they did, that lady at the counter spoke to the customer very nicely and in a lovely tone. AT THAT MOMENT, I swear I will NEVER ever go back to their place because they only greeted well to Americans but when they saw medium tone like us, they were being bitchy. I do not understand whoever gave them high rating. The owner/lady needs to learn how to fix her attitude. Customer service: 0 out of 5 Buns: 3 out of 5

Jade P.

Yelp
There wasn't any other customers in the shop when we arrived. As it was our first time here, we had some general questions about the pricing and mixing of the flavors. Most of our questions were answered by a nice lady with black hair but there was another lady (presumably the owner) with short brown hair that gave the MOST ATTITUDE and seemed very annoyed when we asked her some simple questions. When we were trying to get more information, she also made us calculate the price of the banh bao ourself. She rudely pointed to the menu and told us to do the math. Overall, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place because of the bad service but also because of the cleanliness. When I was biting into the banh bao, I noticed PAPER that was fried into the bread as well as some shiny aluminum-like pieces inside the custard. Definitely will not come back here!

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get bánh bào. It's the perfect harmony between the sweet Bao and savory pork/egg filling, yum. They just have the ratios right. More affordable than many other places and it tastes better! I've purchased "higher quality" bao that was $5+ and they don't taste as good as the baos here. The bao is not too small and not too big. It's always a big hit at every pot luck and party. My sister lives out of town and she was so happy when I got her bánh bào from here. There are staff that speak English. I know it's intimidating for non-Vietnamese speaking customers sometimes but no need to worry at this location. Staff are really friendly. They also take credit card.

Yelp
*bring cash if you can, they charge additional tax for card* Boxes of 9 are also more worth it. Yummy Vietnamese buns/baos! I love that they have fried options here. These baos have a pretty ideal ratio of breading to meat & the breading is more soft & crumbly vs. thick & chewy like many other places. It's a little on the sticky side though. I ordered a few of #2 - pork with quail egg, & a ready-made fried version of #1 - pork, sausage, egg that was sitting in a heated display case. Otherwise I believe you'll need to order the fried buns separately with a 3 order minimum & additional cost. Both were delicious & I personally liked the fried bao a little more. Service was quick since they had a lot of steamed buns that were premade already. I parked in the lot next to theirs (by office depot) since parking looked a bit tricky on their side. Will be back to order more next time since they make a great lunch or snack!

Yelp
I've been here many times and never gave them a review, but after trying so many other banh bao in there area, I've decided to come here and rate them 5 stars. They have the right bun texture with really tasty meat inside. The size is great for a snack and they have the perfect bun to meat ratio. All the other ones around here are either too sweet, don't get the bun texture right, or have bland meat.
google avatar

Cindy T.

Yelp
Pretty average banh baos. I thought the dough was a little too thin. It got soggy quickly. The filling for the banh bao thap cam was good, but was not the best I've had. I did not like the filling for the banh bao chay (vegetarian banh bao). It tasted very earthy. I would recommend getting banh bao elsewhere.
google avatar

Sandra L.

Yelp
I still love coming here for banh bao. Although their prices have gone up, they still make a really good banh bao. I always get #1. Banh Bao Thap Cam - pork, egg, and sausage ($13/box of 9). The filling is tasty, the bun is slightly sweet, and the filling to bun ratio is on point! They are decently sized, not too big and not to small. They don't look like perfectly shaped buns, but they taste so good. The buns reheat well in the microwave so I always save some in the fridge to reheat for later. Most of the workers here speak Vietnamese, but they can understand if you speak English and call out the number on the menu.

Yelp
Stopped by this morning since I had a craving for Vietnamese-style steamed buns - definitely hit the right spot! First, parking still sucks here, I think it's gotten worse actually since my last post - the plaza has some changes including a Starbucks that was added at the corner. It's actually easier to park at the Office Depot lot and walk over, since their enter/exit driveways are wider and have less foot traffic. There's a variety of steamed buns here with both sweet and savory fillings - my go-to is the #1: Original pork, egg, and sausage - which as of today, goes for $13.00 for a box of 9, or $2.50 each. Prices are fair for the quality - sure, these are smaller than the banh baos you can get at say, THH down the street - but the quality is definitely noticeable and there is a higher filling-to-dough ratio. I used to peel the skin before eating steamed buns (was always told to as a kid) - but if you do that with these buns, you'll waste at least 1/5th of them considering the size. Service is prompt and courteous - cash recommended since there is a surcharge for card use. Overall, a favorite whenever I'm in the area and craving steamed buns.

Yelp
This was delightful and the perfect snack. I ended up buying a pack of 9 of the #1 which is the pork, egg and sausage and decided to try one of the pork, salted egg and sausage. Both were very delicious and hit the spot! There's no indoor seating so I got them to go but definitely a stop if you're in the area and a great spot for visitors to try.
google avatar

Lynn V.

Yelp
Baos are decent size and it's a quick pick up! We got the one with the salted egg duck which was delicious but the egg itself was not salted enough? I still enjoyed them though. Don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices, it's really just a preference of type of egg at this point. We came in 10 minutes before closing and while worried, it was ok since we knew we wanted a box anyways and those are pre-made to pick up and you can go home and just heat them up yourselves. They lasted pretty well for up to about a week in the fridge. I definitely would like to try the fried version next time but have to drop by much earlier.
google avatar

Steven R.

Yelp
Delicious and simple! Freshly made with a lot of different types of baos to try. I always go with the classic #1 Pork, egg and sausage. A box of 9 costs $12. They also have it in a deep fried version which is a total game changer. The only negative part about this location is the parking lot, very small and its located next to a grocery store and starbucks.
google avatar

Jackie N.

Yelp
Absolutely love banh bao here. My cousin bought a box to give my dad and my dad couldn't finish so he gave me some to try. I loved it so much I asked my husband to stop by the store so we can pick up another box before heading back to sacramento during our thanksgiving trip. I like the one with the salty egg inside but I also got the bbq pork too this trip. I normally don't like bbq pork but it was yummy. No weird fat inside of it. Just meat! And the dough is balanced. Some banh bao places are hella cheap with the meat. But not here. The integrity of the ingredients are balanced and perfect!

Sherry U.

Yelp
Bao is to small one nite size for $3. Not worth it. Baby bao bite size. Not worth the money.

Leslie L.

Yelp
Small to go shop. Will not go here again. Today went in to buy 2 boxes of bao for $37. Cashier took my credit card to charge while waking away, briefly saying there's 8% charge for credit card usage bring total to some $40. I was in the process questing about the charge a this has never been charge in the past. I then said, I don't want to purchase anymore. She said I already charge the card. She can easily refund but implied it's done. I said oh ok I will not return. She didn't seem to care. The issue is that there was no sign about the credit card usage fee. It's just not honest business. For this, we will not return. There are plenty of bao shop out there that doesn't charge extra.

Yelp
Great place for banh bao! They have cold and fresh options. We stocked up to bring back to Colorado.
google avatar

Silbe H.

Yelp
I like the salted duck pork bao, they kind of cheaper than other place and it's a dozen, the quality of the bao kind of ok. Would like to try their seafood one. Service is great, very kind that day that I came. It wasn't crowded and small store. It's kind of hard to find parking. Don't have any photos, forget to take one.
google avatar

Yelp
This is small place in a Vietnamese plaza next to a supermarket. They do have one small table with chairs but it's really a to-go spot. I've came here a few times and always see ppl in and out of here, sometimes the line gets long on the weekend. They accept credit card but will charge you tax and must be a minimum of $10. They have many types of banh baos, both savory and sweet, steamed and fried. I always get the #1 with pork and egg. They're $1.95 each or $12 for a box of 9. I got a box of mix fried and steam banh baos for $15 (it was an extra $3 for fried). They're on the smaller size and the perfect size for a snack. I think the fried baos are made upon order because they came out hot and crunchy. They have the perfect mix of bread and filling. Every time I come here, their banh baos have been consistently delicious and do not disappoint. I get extra to freeze and eat later.
google avatar

Kwok S.

Yelp
Hands down the best tasting Banh Bao bakery in the OC. I've tried many bakery and compared, but the texture, taste, and quality of these baos are unique and distinct. My family and I would come have a meal in the Westminister area and just make a stop to pick up 3-5 packs of the 9 in one container baos. Out of everything the meats are so juicy and tasty. Some places are dry and bland tasting which makes me appreciate these baos more.
google avatar

Anne G.

Yelp
The food is sooo great. Never had this nap soo good. All of the varieties are great, my favorite is the sweet custard with salted egg. There's some language barrier however I still ended up getting what I wanted. The store is only for to go service so ambiance to eat there is not recommended. Mostly to go
google avatar

Long H.

Yelp
Tp banh bao 2 is one of the best banh bao place period. I recommend getting their #1, comes with 9 banh bao in a box with meat, lap xuong and egg. Once you eat one banh bao, you won't be able to stop with just one. Once in awhile you should try 1 or 2 of their fried banh bao, it's delicious. They have variety of different banh bao also, with quail egg in it, but it cost a little more for it. Fyi, the plaza can be hectic at times with limited parking.
google avatar

Marcel r.

Yelp
Food is great! Really good and interestingly girl provided customers service was amazingly patient with me although i changed my order few times :) That and well those buns was really tasty - compromised my diet but well worth it!
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
We stopped by here because my aunt told us that the baos are super delicious. It's located inside a mini plaza next to a grocery store so plenty of parking. We got a pack of the steamed original and one pack of the fried ones. It was sooo good - we went back to get another pack of the fried ones for leftovers. The filling to dough ratio is perfect! I hate baos that have teeny tiny filling and too much dough. The baos reheat well too. I used an air fryer on the fried ones and if you're too lazy to re-steam the steamed ones, you can always wrap it with a moist paper towel and microwave it. It'll still be good. I will definitely be coming back to buy more.
google avatar

Helen Q.

Yelp
I came here to get some banh bao to take home because I remembered they were so good the last time I came down to LA. I got 3 boxes of the cap cam and 3 boxes of the custard with sau rien. The lady gave me the cold ones since it was going to be a long 6hr drive. I warmed them up in the microwave when I got home for 2mins and they tasted really dry and not freshly made. I'm so disappointed. They didn't taste as good as the last time I bought them. Unfortunately I won't be going here anymore.

Mr.BuffetSoCal ..

Yelp
Oh, TP Banh Bao, you enigmatic temple of tiny treasures! Picture this: buns so petite they could be cradled in a baby's hands. These little dough spheres are the Tom Cruises of the Banh Bao world--small but packing a decent punch. Perfect for baby's first luxury splurge at a starting price of a jaw-dropping $13! The taste? Mildly exhilarating, like a roller coaster for ants. The flavor doesn't exactly sing to you, but it hums--think elevator music but in your mouth. Now let's talk about the owner, the Gordon Gekko of the bao world. This man has discovered the art of the upsell before you even walk in. You thought you were in for a reasonable meal, but surprise! You've just sponsored his next vacation. Some call him greedy; I call him a financial visionary. Why? Because only a genius could convince people to keep coming back for what is essentially a bite-sized nibblet with the price tag of a small car payment. So should you go to TP Banh Bao? If you're into culinary minimalism and wallet masochism, absolutely! Because nothing says 'I have money to burn' like spending $20 on something that leaves you just as hungry as when you walked in.Do

Yelp
I have always been a fan of bao! I love bbq pork bao, vegetarian bao, and now these Vietnamese style baos! The bao sold here are on the smaller size than the ones I get in the SVG. However, the size and filling is perfect. It's the perfect amount to eat. I do like the meat-to-bread ratio. The whole bao is tasty. You can taste all the ingredients in the bao. It tasted fresh. There is a couple of choices of bao you can get. I went with the #1 bao. This bao has pork, boiled egg, onion, and Chinese sausage. You can even get this bao deep-fried up! You can buy the bao individually or in a box of 9. I ended up getting the box for $11. It came out to about $1.22 apiece. A better bang for your buck. Overall, a great place to pick up if you're cravings for some baos!

Yelp
Amazing banh bao. Got my son addicted to it too. I go here twice a year to get the bao to bring back to Vegas.

Yelp
I love the many options they have for Banh Bao. My fav is the quail eggs so far, but will be back to try more.

Yelp
TP Banh Bao 2 is my favorite place for banh bao (Vietnamese steamed bun). They have two locations: Garden Grove/Euclid and McFadden/Brookhurst. I have only been to the one on Euclid, next to Da Lat market. I usually don't like banh bao, but ever since I discovered this place, I'm in love with them! They have many different fillings to choose from or you can have them deep fried (I think 50 cents extra for each bun). It is a must try if you have never had deep fried buns. I have tried both the steamed buns and the deep fried buns, as well as the different fillings here such as the seafood, custard, combination with salted egg, BBQ pork, but my favorite is the combination with chicken egg (#1 on the menu and most popular). The filling is ground pork, onion, mushroom, chicken egg, and chinese sausage. They are $10 for a box of 9 buns, super affordable! The bun is the perfect size. The dough is soft, fluffy, slightly sweet, and the filling is moist and flavorful. They still taste great after a few days in the fridge. I have tried the steamed buns from other places, including Yummy Bakery (Yummy Banh Bao) that everyone talks about, and I'm sorry so say none of them can be compared to TP Banh Bao 2!

Yelp
The lady has some big business back there in the kitchen when there's only one customer (me) waiting for almost 5 mins, and she charges me $15 for a box of #1 when the price was clearly stated at $13. Anyway, she went back right away after charging me so I can't ask for receipts/charging details unless I wait for another 5 mins until she came back out. Please anyone who came after 10/8/2023 let me know what's the price of a box of #1 I'll be appreciate.. Ps: not sure if she's disabled cuz she never speaks and never makes eye contact

Yelp
Best Vietnamese baos I've had outside of vietnam so far. The filling is on point and true to the traditional flavor. The bread part is not traditional and seems to be made with yeast, but I really don't expect it to be as it's not easy to find the right ingredient to have that hint of ammonia like the traditional baos. Service has a lot of rooms for improvement. I was the only one showed up at that point. I rang the bell...waited several minutes for someone to show up. I wanted a few baos of each flavor and he told me not to. I insisted! He gave in but said if you wanted that you had to heat the baos up yourself. I said no problem. Took him another 15 minutes to put 18 baos into the boxes and gave to me. I'll probably just spend a few more minutes and make the baos myself next time I want baos lol

Yelp
My mom is always mentioning all the good reviews she hears from all of her friends when it comes to TP Banh Bao. Since I was in SoCal for the weekend, I decided to make a quick stop prior to heading home so she could finally try their assorted baos [streamed buns]. Just to start this review off, PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THOSE AROUND YOU- Whether you are a driver or pedestrian!! This little complex is high in traffic so patrons are so quick to hurry & find themselves any open parking spot. My sister almost got hit by a large truck because the driver was so focused looking for parking and not looking straight ahead as he should have. This establishment is a to-go spot so be prepared to know what you want to order PRIOR to getting in line. Taking up too much time causes for neighboring customers and employees to huff and puff. The menu is pretty huge so yes, I happened to be one of those annoying visitors. Lmao. Pricing varies but a box of 9pcs will set you back $10-16 depending on what you plan on ordering. Our order consisted of 6 full boxes that contained thap cam [combination], ga [chicken], & xa xiu [bbq pork]. Combinations is the definitely the way to go, chicken was okay but the filling seemed to be more skimp than the others, & the bbq pork was not worth the calories. You won't get the tiny bite sized pieces of pork in the infamous red bbq sauce normally served at dim sum restaurants a it was ground pork shaped into a meatball and flavoring was not to our liking. 3 stars overall. Food was okay and the service here was just annoying.

Yelp
I came here to order baos for my family and if you buy 10 boxes you get 1 free. I could only order 5 but I tried the pork and chicken...YUM! I reheated the baos for 30 sec in the microwave and the meat inside was still juicy. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Picked up a few buns on the way to friends yesterday. Growing up I ate Banh Baos when my mom used to bring them home. I was surprised to find that there was an actual storefront that specialized in making banh baos, and so many different varieties! They also have fried banh baos but for those you have to order at least 3 minimum before they'll fry them. My favorite is probably the pork, egg and sausage since it's close to what I grew up eating. The fried banh bao is a bit too sweet for my liking. I also tried one of their durian banh bao's and it was just ok as well. Next time I will stick to the traditional banh baos! Cost is approximately $2-$3 a bao. They take card. Parking can be a bit difficult since they share a parking lot with a busy Starbucks and grocery store.

Yelp
Hole in the wall Vietnamese banh bao place and price is so cheap. Cash only so come prepared! Ordered a box of no.1 and it had pork, egg and sausage. Also ordered no. 2 and no.3 one of each and it is only ~$15. I like to heat it up with a wet towel for anoint 45 seconds for breakfast/ snack or any time you want.

Yelp
Amazing food but make sure to bring cash with you. Great selection of Bao. My favorite is still the ones with salted egg but pricey.

Yelp
My favorite and a "must" stop every time I come home to visit. I always order a box of the original (pork , egg and sausage) and also the original but with quail eggs. I don't like the traditional bigger banh bao that all other places sell because it's majority dough. I love these small sizes where you get a good portion of stuffing with less dough. I keep a box frozen in the freezer and one in the refrigerator. Just wrap it in a damp napkin and pop it in the microwave for 35-45 seconds.

Yelp
Service is quick and friendly. Ordered a box of #1 for $10. The banh bao is definitely smaller than the usual banh bao. The filling was good and lots of it. The skin/bread was subtly sweet and not too thick. The price is a bit steep. They do get a little soggy on the bottom after a few days in the fridge. Soggy to the point of mushy and pasty. Have to go back to try the fried ones! But will probably go to Banh Mi Che Cali for banh baos since it's twice in size and $1.50 each.
