"Founded by the original creator of boba milk tea in Taiwan, TP Tea stands for “Taiwan Professional Tea” and aims to honor the tea-drinking culture that harkens back to the Tang Dynasty. As a chain that’s been around for more than 30 years, TP Tea still imports their ingredients, even their cane sugar, from Taiwan. And takes the quality of their tea seriously, as exemplified in their Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, which is made from a special kind of oolong and carries a strong roasted flavor. Other crowd favorites include the Strawberry Milk Tea, Passion Fruit Green Tea, and Premium Green Tea Latte with green tea leaves that are aromatized five times using jasmine flowers." - Cathy Park

TP Tea in Cupertino delivers a polished bubble tea experience with a focus on quality ingredients and consistent flavor. The menu leans into classic Taiwanese milk teas, fruit teas, and creamy lattes, with standout options like the signature Pearl Milk Tea and the refreshing Mango Green Tea. Toppings are fresh and well-portioned, and the sweetness and ice levels are customizable, which makes it easy to tailor your drink to your liking. The shop itself is clean and modern, with a minimalist design that keeps the focus on the drinks. Service is efficient, and even during peak hours, the line moves quickly. While seating is limited, it’s a great grab-and-go spot for students, professionals, or anyone craving a reliable tea fix. TP Tea’s attention to detail and smooth ordering process make it a dependable favorite in Cupertino’s competitive boba scene

The tea is very tasty! They clearly take their time in great care and making it. You order at a kiosk online, get a number, and wait for it. Their selection is decent. They get a ton of online orders because we were the only ones in the shop yet they made many drinks before they got to ours.

I’ve been to this TP Tea location in Cupertino many times, but this is the first time I’m doing a review specifically because I realize I have never written a thorough review, with my own thoughts and experiences. Given that this was the first boba place I’m going to in 2025, what better would it be than writing a review? Located at the Pacific Rim Shopping Center, it’s not surprised that it is practically empty given that it is on New Year’s Day. However, the inside of the shop was still bustling with people, and employees constantly having to fill in person orders, as well as orders for pick up and delivery. The prices of the Boba drink have significantly gone up, but compared to other boba shops, have stayed true to the quality of their tea and how specific the sweetness is for each drink (including ice). Me and my friend got the passionfruit green tea with boba (only I myself got the lychee jelly as an addition) — and needless to say, it was one of the best things that I have gotten! I’ll definitely be coming back soon to check out the other different drinks that they have, but I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody!

I’ve been a regular customer at this shop, but this experience was unacceptable. While drinking one of their drinks, I discovered a piece of metal inside. (See photo.) At first, I thought it was just a hair or string, but upon closer inspection, it was a sharp, curved piece of metal—something that could easily be swallowed and cause serious harm. I immediately reached out to both the shop and Snackpass through the app. Neither responded. No apology, no acknowledgment, no refund, absolutely nothing. This is a major safety issue and the complete lack of accountability is shocking

Google
We ordered the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (5/5) and the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with QQ Noodles, both at 15 percent sugar. The QQ Noodles doesn't have much flavor itself, but is fun to chew on without all the extra sugar from the boba. The drink itself had a smooth, light, and creamy texture. TP Tea Cupertino is one of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. Specifically this location, I tried the 2 other TP Tea location, they weren't as good as the Cupertino location. There's always a line, I recommend ordering online and picking up. The tea here is strong and flavorful. I tried a bunch of drinks on their menu, and my favorite is probably the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (15 or 30 percent sugar depending on how I feel). We also ordered the extra spicy popcorn Chicken (4/5). It had a nice spicy kick to it, the chicken was very tender and moist. It made me sweat a bit, but wasn't too spicy on the tongue. If I was to order again I would go for the spicy. The extra spicy had a heavy coat of chili powder, which is a bit too powdery for my partner (was okay for me).

Google
TP Tea is one of my go-to places for boba in the Bay Area! Their drinks are always consistent and have a strong tea flavor. I love their Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with boba or grass jelly. You can easily order online via Snackpass and avoid waiting in line at the store. They have opened a few other location in San Jose, Milpitas, Pleasanton, Berkeley, and more.

Google
Am I able to try all boba tea shops in my area in this lifetime of mine? Probably not but I am working on it. 😆 This milk tea store has impressed me with her friendly service and a vibrant energy. The Tie Guan Yin oolong milk tea with vera aloe was heavily flavored with semi-oxidized tea leaves, tasted bittersweet but balanced. I think it's the nature of tea as Tie Guan Yin is roasted tea that is deep, rich, floral and perhaps rocky? (It grows in mountains). Not everyone is gonna like it but I do. The regular boba milk tea used black tea, which is heavier and roastier. The quality was pretty stable. Sugar level and ice level are customizable which is great. Clean store. Good drinks. Friendly service. Next time I'll try their snacks. Highly recommend it.

Google
This place never slows down nor will they need to. It's great to see they have self serving and fast tea orders made for order ahead. TP tea's business model clearly is working fantastic for everyone who is a fan and continues to come back to the shop.

Yelp
TP Tea is hands down one of my favorite boba tea spot! I've lost count of how many times I've been here. I always order the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, and it never disappoints. The place is pretty busy during peak hours, and there's usually a bit of a wait, but trust me, it's worth it. The drinks are top-notch, and the wait is a small price to pay for such quality. If you want to avoid the rush, try going during off-peak times. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with the QQ noodle add-on. The QQ noodles add a fun, chewy texture that's just perfect. TP Tea is a must-visit. Whether you're a boba fanatic or just curious, you won't regret stopping by. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Made the order through the large touch screen by the counter. Selection and options are well organized and the system is easy to use. Orders that were ready were displayed on a separate display. Similar to waiting in line at the DMV. Waited 35+ minutes. Seemed like the average wait time for a drink here was around 30minutes. Seating available outside and indoor allowed for most to wait comfortably enough. Boba was chewy and seemed fresh and the flavor was good, but definitely not worth the wait.

Yelp
6.22.2024 Craving popcorn chicken. And got my popcorn chicken fix! Super busy and the order doesn't seem to stop. Easy to find parking, but not easy to find seats. Not enough seating areas which was a bummer. Orders were taking a standard 20 - 25 minutes. That's pretty long for one drink and one popcorn chicken. The black tea with cheese crema was ok. The tea looked strong, but it wasn't as strong as it looked. So it ended up tasting more watered down. The highlight was the popcorn chicken. Good size, good spice kick, fresh basil and the best part - the chicken didn't have any weird after taste. Often times, when chicken is not handled properly or seasoned properly, it always has that weird chicken funk that makes me feel gnarly. But this place wasn't like that at all! Will have to try other drinks on their menu, but will definitely be back for their popcorn chicken!

Yelp
Came here with family and friends several time, usually in the evening after dinner. There's plenty of parking in a plaza that has restaurants. There's often a 15-20 minute wait. I'd say this feels more like an "upscale" boba shop. Prices are rising, similar other boba spots around the Bay Area now though. The service is decent. You order through a digital kiosk. Be ready to spend almost one Jefferson per drink! I order with less sweetness and less ice. Here's what I've tried: Tie Guan Yin Tea Latte and Tie Guan Yin Boba Milk Tea: Tastes like high-quality, classic milk tea. The boba here is small! My pet peeve for boba is when the tea has a bitter aftertaste. This was good on that aspect. Strawberry milk tea - Tastes fresh and fruity! The milkiness and the fruitiness balance out well. It's not artificial strawberry flavoring. Haven't tried their other snacks and drinks but I'd stop by if I was in the area.

Josephine D.

Yelp
Tp has become my favorite spot for milk tea. Love their tie guan yin milk tea with grass jelly. This place is one of the few that taste like they use legit tea and not just loads of sugar and milk. Highly recommend ordering ahead on Snack pass. always have to wait 10-15 mins every time I walk in.

David C.

Yelp
TP Tea serves quality tea, which is my first criteria for judging any modern boba shop. I can't speak for the quality of boba pearls here as I don't often eat that, but I could tell that the green tea was well made: not too bitter while also having a prominent tea flavor. I like that the drinks here can be adjusted for sweetness at a varying level of percentages (I might try 15% next time); I have yet to confirm whether the sweetness levels do run true to their percentages. Overall, while TP Tea is a chain, I regard it as a consistent staple along good boba.

Yelp
At this point TP tea is my favorite boba place. And anytime I ask people I meet about their favorite boba spots, TP tea is always at the top of their list. The drinks!!!! Alright so it's not pictured here, but one of the GO TOs is the Strawberry milk tea. 10/10, 5 stars!!!! It has such a strong strawberry flavor (THAT ISNT ARTIFICIAL) but it doesn't mask the tea flavor so you still get both flavors!!! It's an icy semi blended type drink so it's almost like a shake but not that creamy????? You just have to try it once! Tie guan yin (latte/milk tea) is also one of the popular drinks here and it would be my second go to. Super solid tea flavor and very consistent. Other honorable mentions are the fantastic fruit tea (pictured), mango passion smoothie, winter melon tie guan yin oolong. Popcorn chicken: i LOVE their popcorn chicken!!! I think they give a decent amount and the fry on the chicken is 10/10, flavor 10/10, dusting of spicy powder 10/10!!! Always hits the spot after pickleball or just when I need a pick me up. The only possible downside is that this location can get really busy and wait times can be longgggg on weekends or busy hours. But you can also just order ahead to skip the waiting!! Seating inside is kind of limited and they have two tables with some chairs outside. Even with these in mind I still have to give 5 stars because the drinks are just so solid!

Yelp
Came to the Cupertino location on a Sunday evening, it was busy but line and service went fast. The place was modern, well decorated, and self checkout was intuitive. I tried the Strawberry Milk Tea and Limited edition Citrus Milk Tea. Both were delicious and surprised me; both drinks were much more tea heavy than most milk teas in the Bay, yet the tea is light refreshing and not overwhelming making for a great balance with the milk and fruit flavors. I loved my strawberry milk tea which also had boba that was warm and extremely soft especially for the evening (close to 9:30 PM). The citrus milk was heavenly, it reminds me of the flavor of a Citrus Coffee drink I had in Tokyo and never had found the same milky-fresh flavor since until now. Overall, super pleasantly surprised and based off these two milk tea drinks alone, TP Tea is extremely unique and stands out among the countless milk tea options in the Bay!

Jon T.

Yelp
I seriously don't understand why it takes a good 20-30 minutes to get your order EVERY TIME here, other boba places get it to you in less than 5 minutes but tp tea is always super slow, are they out there milking the cows for the milk tea and picking out tea leaves off the trees?! I just don't get it. I've been coming here for years and the drinks are average, prices are a bit higher than other boba places but there is just so much hype around it so I guess it's justified. I tried the brown sugar boba last time (you can't adjust the sweetness level) I could only get through around half the cup and had to toss it, feel free to get it if you like drinking pure sugar

Maddie L.

Yelp
My friend took me to TP Tea for the first time and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the tie guan yin milk tea with boba and it was perfect. The flavor was wonderful, the tea was delicious, and the 50% sweetness was just the right amount for me. You can either order at the kiosk or at the register. We ordered at the kiosk so we didn't interact with any of the staff besides for when we picked up our drinks. The inside of the shop is fairly small and seating is limited. More of a grab and go boba spot. Definitely recommend this spot out if you're craving tea and boba! I'll definitely be back!

Mira D.

Yelp
tp tea is my all time favorite boba spot in the bay area and beyond. the consistency varies a bit between locations, with the boba texture and sugar level, but overall i find tp tea has the strongest tea with a good creamy ratio. tip: order ahead online on the snackpass app to skip the line (add me mirad), this cupertino location gets veryy crowded and if you wait to order at the store you could be standing around for 30+ minutes at popular times. docking a star because of the wait times. this location is spacious and has indoor seating. favorite drinks include the tie guan yin (earthy oolong) and pearl milk tea (black tea) for the strongest tea flavor. jasmine milk tea is good too but lighter tea flavor so it is more creamy. i usually get 30% sweet since some locations have been too sweet at 50%. overall though, 100% recommend tp tea for their pearl milk teas.

Christina N.

Yelp
TP Tea in Cupertino has become my absolute favorite boba spot in the area, and for good reason. Every visit leaves me completely satisfied with their delicious drinks and efficient service. I always order the TGY Family Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea at 80% sweetness with boba, and they never disappoint. The balance of flavors is perfect, and the level of sweetness is just right - not too sugary, but wonderfully satisfying. The boba pearls are consistently cooked to perfection, adding a delightful chewiness to each sip. What impresses me most is the consistency of their drinks. No matter how many times I've ordered the same thing, it always tastes just as great as the first time. The quality is top-notch. The ordering process is a breeze thanks to their user-friendly iPad system. Checking out is quick and efficient, which is perfect for those times when you're in a hurry but still craving a refreshing drink. Service at TP Tea is prompt and friendly. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff always manages to serve customers with a smile. The store itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment to enjoy your drink. The only drawback I can think of is the lack of bathroom facilities, which means it's not an ideal place to linger. However, for a quick stop to grab a fantastic boba drink, TP Tea is unbeatable. I find myself making a point to stop by TP Tea every time I'm in the area. It's become a staple in my routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality boba drinks in Cupertino.

Eva C.

Yelp
My favorite boba place in the bay area! Parking isn't an issue. They're always busy and it's for a reason. I would recommend ordering through Snackpass to avoid having to wait in line, esp on the weekends The tea quality is really good and I personally like strong tea flavor so I always get the tie guan yin tea/milk tea/oolong latte with pearls. If you're looking for something refreshing, I would go with the lemon jasmine green tea or passion fruit gt. They've had their fried snacks for a while but I still haven't tried it.

weijie q.

Yelp
Great customer service, the tea here is so good, I buy it every day, the children are very friendly. My favorite milk tea shop!

Jasmine Y.

Yelp
The quality of this place is great! I loved how chewy the boba was and how delicious the drink was. This location does get a bit busy on the weekends so skip the line and order ahead. Will definitely be coming back if I am ever in the area.

Brian H.

Yelp
Was in the Cupertino area and TP tea seems on top of the list. Inside was somewhat packed on a weekday night and I decided to try the Strawberry Milk Tea. It was nothing mind blowing, not terrible and just whatever to me. I would come back to try other drinks but based on this experience it was meh.

Shania W.

Yelp
TP Tea is one of the best boba spots in South Bay. If you are looking for good quality drinks, TP Tea should be on your list! Over the years, I've tried a decent amount of their drinks and have enjoyed basically everything I've gotten. My favorites are the Strawberry Milk Tea and the Mango Matcha Latte. The Strawberry Milk Tea is a blended ice drink, and I've never really found anything like it elsewhere - it's creamier than your typical smoothie. TP Tea's drinks taste like they are made with good ingredients, but the drinks aren't as strong in terms of the tea flavor itself. I think they're best for their milk teas and specialty drinks; I personally don't really go for their fruit teas or non-milk teas. They have some places to sit inside, but it's not a huge store. I usually just come to grab boba and then head out; it's not the best for hanging out since it can get quite loud. However, there usually are always some people sitting and chatting, so the option is always there. You can order on your phone or using the order kiosk. They are pretty popular, so I usually have to wait at least 10-15 minutes (and potentially much longer if they're extra busy) at any time in the day. I know some people who drive out to Cupertino just for TP Tea, so they definitely are popular. Definitely a key spot for good boba!

Cynthia P.

Yelp
So busy at night. Order at the screen and then watch another screen to see which order is ready or still needs to be prepared. The fruity drinks and milk teas are both good. They seem to churn out the drinks pretty quickly and boba melts nicely in your mouth. Given how busy and packed this place is, it's not somewhere you can relax. Even the uncomfortable geometric metal stools are telling you to leave lol great for grab and go (because of ambience) but be prepared to wait a little due to large volume of orders. Parking lot available. Amazing udon place a few doors down in same plaza!

Hnin T.

Yelp
One of my top boba places! Their milk tea is delicious and I love the QQ boba milk tea that they have. It's def a must try and the service is very efficient.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Came here on a friday night and it was packed. Arrived by 8:30, ordered by 8:40 and didnt get our order until 9:25? There was only 1 kisosk and its weird that if you choose the "for-here" option they charge you $1. But if you choose the "pick up" option they won't charge you for anything. The store looks like it's for to-go anyway? With some seatings. My friend didn't pay attention but they should fix that. I got the passion fruit tea with grass jelly and less sweet. Its really flavorful and you can taste the tea taste too which is a plus. Not many tea shops have that taste either. Only thing is though, I wished they had percentages for the teas instead of "less sweet", "regular sweet", and "extra sweet". Too vague. -1 star for the kiosk and having no specific sweetness levels..

Sarah L.

Yelp
My new favorite boba in the area! Got the strawberry milk tea (which I didn't realize was frozen vs. just iced, but it was super good nonetheless). Got that at 50% sugar, which was perfect. Also got the brown sugar fresh milk tea, which was divine - just wish you could adjust the sweetness on it. We did have to wait about ~20 minutes for our drinks, but that was OK for us. Just know that going into it.

Zhouhao D.

Yelp
I'm only writing this review based on my experiences from today. I went in to TPTea around 2:30 and the store was extremely crowded. All I could hear was the music and their kiosk system making a "ding" sound whenever a in-store or online ordered came in. I waited for almost an hour for my drink despite the app and kiosk tablet saying it should only take 30 minutes. Every time I went to the counter, the employee would tell me that they needed more time for not only my order, but the order for the others around me as well. Normally, I would give this store one star. The only reason why I will give this store two stars is because the employee working at the counter sending out drinks was very professional and polite. I think his name is XuMing, at least that's what I heard the other employees calling him. He was very polite and had a smile on his face when speaking to customers. He would apologize that I had to wait so long and he would even turn around and help make drinks in an attempt to speed everything up. Overall, I was disappointed in my experience and will not come back until their wait times are more accurate. TPtea, please understand that your boba is good, but your wait times are extremely inaccurate, which causes inconvenience your customers.

Dai N.

Yelp
The boba was different and they had unique flavors. I got the Boba Fresh Milk Tornado w/ 50% sugar and ice. Unfortunately we came at around 2pm on a Saturday and they were packed. Waited for almost 25 minutes for our drinks, but could see the workers trying to churn out the drinks as fast as they could

Bup N.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for MT. That, and how it's convenient that it's in the same plaza as one of my fav noodle restaurants. Service can be a hit or miss, depending on the day/time. Crazy long wait time on weekends but fast on a weekday, but that's as expected. Highly recommend doing it via Snackpass. My go to drinks from here are: tie guan yin MT and strawberry MT (both drinks are their specialities). One thing about the strawberry MT tho is that it's superrrrr sweet. I suggest doing 0% sweetness, or if you have to, 30%. It can get loud inside but if you catch them on a non busy day, the volume is minimal. Parking is never a problem and staff are always friendly. Happy to have a place that's so close to home.

Pauline N.

Yelp
First time here and my drink was so good! Probably my favorite strawberry milk tea drink from a boba place. STRAWBERRY MILK TEA (4.5/5) - Enjoyed how there was blended strawberries and ice in the drink. It reminded me of a silky smoothie, and it tasted great with lychee jelly. - LOVED how the tea flavor was strong. The tea is not overpowering and help balances out the milk. At other shops, you don't really taste tea in the drink. - 50% sweetness is the move I really enjoyed my drink and would totally order this again. TP Tea is busy and can have long lines. If I'm going to wait in line, my drink has to be WORTH the wait. My friends' drinks (Tie Guan Yin and Jasmine Milk Tea) were good, but I wasn't really impressed by them. The Strawberry Milk Tea is much more unique!

Allison L.

Yelp
This is hands down the best boba in the bay. Came here with some friends back in September, liked it so much that we had to come back the next time we visited the bay too. The Tieguanyin oolong milk tea is so delicious. A very strong tea flavor that isn't overpowered by everything else. It also has a very fragrant milky taste too. You can also adjust the sugar and ice level to your liking. The boba was also soft, fresh, and has a nice chew to it. The line does get long so our friends ordered about 30 minutes ahead on this app called SnackPass. It's easy to sign up and order ahead so you can skip the line. We got in, got there at the time it told us, and picked up our drinks right away. I think I want to come back here every time I visit the bay area. Or take this store back home with me to Boston.

Julian Y.

Yelp
Mmm yummy! I got their tie guan yin milk tea with grass jelly and it was delicious. There was plentiful of tea flavor and the grass jelly was silky. There was a lot of people on a Sunday afternoon. We walked to Walgreens to use their bathroom after ordering, and even when we got back to TP Tea, we still had to wait a little bit more for our drinks to be ready. TP Tea is definitely one of my fave spots for boba!

Alyssa P.

Yelp
TP Tea has the best tie guan yin milk tea! I will opt for either boba or QQ noodle, which has the same texture/chewiness as boba but in a long, noodle-y form. The tea flavor is strong, and it is creamy. I get 80% sweet, and you can already really taste the tea. I don't generally opt for any other drinks, even though they do have a fairly large menu, because their tie guan yin is delicious and not offered at many other places. They have snacks now too, and their popcorn chicken is fresh and crispy. I only got 2 small pieces of basil though. I got extra spicy, and they were generous with the chili powder on top, but it wasn't overpoweringly spicy for me. I The downside of this location is it's extremely busy. Even ordering ahead on Snackpass (which I do recommend), you'll often see the estimated wait time is at least 40 minutes (at least it has been for me every time I've ordered on the app). If you order there, there are two kiosks, and the one I've used is extremely slow and laggy. They will text you when your order is ready, and there is some seating inside to wait or enjoy your drinks.

Ronny T.

Yelp
Still good. Still busy. You can skip the line by ordering online but u still gotta wait for ur drink. Worth it imho.

Athena S.

Yelp
If you plan on visiting this store, please order ahead and check the wait time! I'm a huge fan of TP Tea, but was extremely disappointed when visiting this location. My order of 2 drinks had a total wait time of 45 mins. I ordered ahead with an estimated wait time of 32 mins, however when I arrived at the store, after my wait time was over, my order was still incomplete and still in progress. I had to wait an additional 10mins for my order to be made. Truly disappointed with this service time. I understand that they only have 4 staff on the floor, however I noticed at multiple times during my wait in the store, the employees would stop making drinks to talk about the World Cup. At that point, it was evident why my drink had such a long wait time. I hope this review helps TP Tea to create a better consumer experience and be more mindful of how long a drink needs to be made. Until this location improves their wait time, I will not be revisiting this store.

Christy K.

Yelp
To be honest, part of me wishes I never found out about Tp tea because I'm so addicted to it now. Ive gotten it every day this week. I love the tgy family milk tea with 15% sugar and little to no ice. This drink comes with coffee jelly, boba and pudding. I've tried many boba places and this place just does milk tea so so well. I also tried the regular boba milk tea and jasmine milk tea. Those are good as well but tgy is just heaven. Expect a wait every time u go here tho. It's super popular and for good reason.

Alice H.

Yelp
I love TP Tea's C3 Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with boba - it's my top choice every time! The Roasted Oolong Milk Tea strikes a perfect balance with a touch of bitterness and a creamy texture that I adore. Since I'm a big fan of tasting the tea in my milk tea, TP Tea delivers on that front, allowing the tea leaf's flavor to shine through. I usually go for 30% sugar and less ice to tailor it to my taste, and TP Tea consistently gets it spot on.

Liz C.

Yelp
TP Tea is my favorite boba spot for a strong tea-flavored milk tea. Given how popular TP Tea is, you can expect a line on the weekends. Thankfully, you can order ahead on Toast Tab. We typically order on the app about 20-30 minutes before we pick up as that's the usual estimated time. My go to is their tie guan yin milk tea with boba at 30% sweetness. It's not too sweet and the tea flavor shines through the entire drink. Their other milk tea options are just as fragrant and strong. Fruit drinks are also refreshing, but I wouldn't necessarily say they are the star of the show. Boba texture is pretty good - cooked well and chewy, but is not always consistent (some days are better than others). Their pearls are also smaller than your average boba spot. Highly recommend if you love strong tea flavor!

Derek L.

Yelp
When they first opened I was not impressed with the chalky flavor of the milk tea. Coming back after several years, I can say with confidence that this place is delicious. Ordering is via kiosk and since it's popular, there's a 10 min wait for the drinks. I got the milk tea and a seasonal watermelon drink. Seasonal watermelon one was ok as I didn't feel the sago was necessary but the milk tea was fantastic with great balance of milk and tea flavor. Overall I'm glad I revisited and can't wait to be back again.

Noelle P.

Yelp
The passion fruit green tea is extremely refreshing and the flavor was not overwhelming. I ended up getting Crystal boba and aloe included. This place was absolutely packed at 2pm on a Saturday, highly recommend ordering in advanced then picking up!

Tiffany T.

Yelp
TP tea is amazing - one of my top 3 boba places in the bay area! They're always busy, and for good reason. I got their Jasmine Green Milk Tea, and it was the perfect balance of tea flavor and milk. I liked how it is slightly thicker and more creamy than the milk tea of other places. The bold tea flavor also really comes through without being overwhelming. Ever since coming here, I've been craving it and will definitely stop by whenever I'm in the area!

Yelp
I always frequent the Irvine TP Tea, so I wanted to try this location to compare! I recommend downloading Snackpass to place your order ahead of time so it's ready when you get there. :) The strawberry matcha latte was absolutely delicious! This drink does not need toppings and is delicious as-is. I will say the strawberry syrup is pretty sweet already, so I would probably go with 50% sweet for my drink the next time. I got 80% this time and it was a tad bit too sweet.

Yelp
TP Tea has been probably my favorite boba place. This place has been quite busy ever since the first time I visited here, but they are still able to work pretty fast to make all the drinks. I would recommend their boba, especially milk tea to all those who enjoys strong tea flavor.

Yelp
Pretty good! Came here on a Thursday afternoon and it was super packed. We had to wait 25ish mins to get our order. We ordered the strawberry milk tea and popcorn chicken. The tea was super good, not too sweet as well. It was a blended tea so almost like a slushie. The popcorn chicken was good as well, however it was a little bit cold when it got to us, so it wasn't as crunchy as I would've liked. The flavor was good though, and you can ask for extra chili powder if you want it to be more spicy!

Yelp
One of the best basic milk tea spots here in the bay area. TP Tea doesn't have any crazy looking drinks and keeps everything simple. As a result of that, every type of tea they have are equally as good. Their milk teas have a perfect balance of creaminess and tea flavor, while their regular teas also have tons of flavor while not being too bitter. Service is slow at times because of how many togo online orders they get, but I would say everything is worth the wait. Boba Milk Tea: This is what everyone should get when they are craving a basic milk tea. Everything about this drink is amazing from flavors to consistency to the boba. Their boba has the perfect texture, not too big or small and not too chewy or hard. The milk tea is a bit on the sweeter side so I would say adjust the sweetness accordingly. Matcha Tornado: Such a good drink. The creme around the cup mixes well with the matcha flavor without taking any matcha flavor away. The best way to drink this is to shake your cup (not too hard) so the creme can mix in. I love how they blend the drink not too much so theres a crunchy consistency and when it melts a bit it becomes smooth.

Yelp
I've tried the jasmine milk tea, taro moo!, boba mango milk tea - all pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but not bad. Of those three, my favorite was actually the taro moo!, they use real taro paste and I really liked the texture. The boba mango milk tea is okay, but I think the mango flavor and the milk tea flavor are both kind of muddied so neither flavor really stands out. Bubbles are nice and chewy though, very good bubbles.

Yelp
This is THE boba shop to go to in Cupertino, and my personal favorite. There is plenty of parking around so it's easy to get your tea. I highly recommend ordering online via Snackpass to avoid waiting in the store. Price-wise, the tea costs about the same as the various places. I'll write about my 3 favorite drinks I get from the place. Tie Guan Yin Latte: This is the drink I usually get. I like it a lot due to its simple oolong flavor that I can't find anywhere else in Cupertino. It's a good balance of tea and milk. I recommend getting it with boba or grass jelly to enhance your experience. Black Tea Latte with Red Beans: I like this drink a lot due to its combination of tea and red beans. Not only do the red beans give the drink a more grainy texture, but it also add an extra kick of sweetness to it. This makes this drink quite addictive and flavorful. Strawberry Milk Tea: This is a solid drink for strawberry lovers. It tastes very fresh and gives a good mix of strawberry, ice, and tea. It's also not that sweet, which I really like about milk teas. Overall, TP tea is a great place to get tea from, and you really can't go wrong with any order from the place. I recommend trying it out to treat yourself to a wonderful drink!

Yelp
TP Tea is always consistent with the flavor of their teas but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by. The line + wait is quite long for this location since it's a bit disorganized, in terms of where the kiosk is and where to wait in line. Despite all of that, my favorite go-to drinks are: - Winter Melon Tie Guan Yin - Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea - Wintermelon Lemon Tea

Yelp
Have been many times before and just went last weekend. Very crowded per usual! Team does their best to pump those drinks out but I recommend ordering online. I prefer the milk teas here at TP Tea. Tie Guan Yin and classic PMT are my favorite. Tried the strawberry milk tea but didn't love the flavor, tasted kind of like a strawberry milkshake which maybe I should have expected given it was milk tea and strawberry...

Yelp
I got the fantastic fruit green tea with less ice and 80% sweetness. Why was it so sour? I had to wait the next day so the ice melted in order to finish the drink since I didn't want to waste it. My friend got the winter melon oolong at 80% and it was on pretty sweet with not much tea flavor. Service is through the kiosk and then you get a text and a number called to pick up your order. Not much sitting areas but at least there's a lot of standing areas. There's a cute little boba sculpture in the corner, other than that there wasn't anything noticeable.

Yelp
I really didn't expect much from the outside looking in, but boy, it was a surprise. The shop looks beautiful, with the main highlight being the teapot shelf. Their classic milk tea are perfect in terms of toping, although I wish the tea was a bit sweeter.

Yelp
Amazing and creamy boba! I'm not a boba person but this is the only place I'll ever crave. I love that this place has really strong and authentic tea flavors for their bobas, especially tie guan yin and oolong. The wait can get a bit long during busy hours but the servers work hard and fast. There's good seating inside the shop and feels cozy inside.

Yelp
Great milk teas and popcorn chicken is my 2nd favorite (1st will always be Tapioca Express in Milpitas). Boba is chewy- i'm a good way and cooked perfectly. The drinks are fresh tasting, and overall one of my go to for milk tea spots. Saying that this place's popcorn chicken is a close favorite to tapex is a huge compliment! Juicy, tender, and a great portion is always noted for a popcorn chicken connoisseur. Service is super fast for how long the lines are, 4 people cranking out drinks during busy hours. Ambiance is friendly and something comforting about the interior is always a plus!

Yelp
I got the mango matcha tea with boba pearls with my friend! I was drawn to it because I saw a photo of it on the menu. I like how aesthetic the layers are and I definitely got it for the 'gram I like this flavor! It's a nice mix of fruit and matcha. The mango is quite sweet and has a thicker texture than the matcha (I usually get quarter sugar). But the matcha is a nice flavor contrast and adding the boba pearls creates an additional taste and texture variety We went on a Tuesday afternoon at around 2:30 pm. It was kind of busy and we got one of the last spots. This place also has nice vibes for hangouts! Yelp
I really wanted to like to place because of all the good things I've heard about it but I was not a fan. I ordered ahead on the app since most reviews recommended that. Thinking it would be quicker, it was not. The time on the app is not accurate. It told us it will be done in 25 mins. The app said our drinks were ready but when we checked at the front, our order wasn't even prepared yet. We waited an extra 15-20 mins for just 2 drinks. Numbers were also being called out of order so it's not a good indication of whether you're next or not. Honestly, not worth the wait. We ordered two of the most popular drinks. Tie Guan Yin - my partner got this drink and enjoyed it. He got 80% sweetness and said you can still taste the tea but it's not that bitter. He rated it a 4/5 and would get it again. Only complaint would be that the boba is on the smaller size (personal preference) and tasted plain. It's not coated in brown sugar or honey like other places. Strawberry Milk Tea with QQ noodles - idk if it's just me but I was disappointed with this drink. 80% sweetness and it was kind of sour to me and had a weird after taste that I can't describe. The only good thing was the QQ noodles. TGY is better than this in my opinion.
