Personally loves this place. The design the food and all. I’m not a big fan of sauce so I would next time order it with less sauce. I wish they gave some chips to dip in the sauce 🤤😉. But it’s a great place.

If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC real deal Mexican tacos this is not the spot for that. We ordered 2 orders of steak tacos ( tacos de bistec) and left pretty unsatisfied as a person of Mexican descent . 1.) The meat was not fresh, nor was it steak itself but more so like a mushy pork alike kind of meat . The tortillas were not fresh/authentic off the grill so don’t expect some banging tacos off the grill . 2) They added some sauce on my 2nd order of tacos after I told them to specifically keep it plain . Before we got our food I did ask the person behind the cashier if these were “authentic tacos “ and he even told me yes so I was pretty disappointed with the end result . 3) We get served what’s supposed to be “ Salsa Verde and Salsa Roja” which are sauces that are supposed to be spicy but when I dipped my taco in the red sauce it tasted like tomato sauce , no spice or zing to it . Ultimately we ordered only 2 orders of “steak “tacos and paid over $43 which is little overpriced for some tacos . As a food lover I really was quite left disappointed and had to end up getting tacos from the taco truck after . Overall the atmosphere is nice and vibey & so was their service , but the food does not compliment or represent the Mexican culture the way it should . Rating 1/10

Crunchy taquito goodness!! Highly recommend! Loved the set up, not a huge space but the theme is on point! Food was on point as well and was very satisfying! I got the large chicken taquitos and it was a good portion. Really hit the spot! Staff was friendly and the order came out quickly. They even threw in a beef one so I could try it. The green sauce is tasty and not too spicy, although I would have preferred a spicer option that’s a personal preference. Check it out!

These taquitos are delicious! I work on this street and wanted to try something new. I got the chicken taquitos w/ pepper jack cheese and both the red and green sauce. The greens sauce isn't too spicy it's a very light kick to the taste buds. Each are delicious but put both of them together and you got yourself a party in your mouth. Inside the restaurant you have limited seating but it's definitely a cute date spot/ place to grab lunch. The gentleman who helped me was very polite and my food came out in just a few minutes. Definitely will be back 100% recommend!

This location is where the old Honest Chops burgers were. Literally looks the same. The food here was flavorful and would be worth coming back to try different items. Can be a wait give the time you come since its a small kitchen. Steak Taco: Shredded beef, was not a fan of it was pretty dry. Even though the tacos cam loaded and was very filling Chicken Taquito - Small: Absolutely delicious! The sauce was amazing and cooked ti perfection. Small size gives you 3 which is perfect for one or to share.

This was 17 dollars . Barely any food. Worst quesadilla my husband and I have ever had .. Nothing added . No flavor . Waste of money highly disappointed my husband wasted our money on this. He was starving after work and had no choice. I don’t recommend. Dear management do better. Service wasn’t good either

Great new Texan-mexican restaurant with a good selection of empanadas and taquitos. I got the carne asada with the spicy red sauce and the potato ones (that were made vegan) with the regular red salsa. Both tasted great and you can tell they were made to order with even the salsas being prepared daily. This was especially surprising since we stopped in around 11 so I fully expected leftover food, but you could see them making the taquitos on the spot. I tried the cherry lemonade slushee which was tangy and just the right amount of sweet. They let me know they use actual cherry juice in which you could really taste. As of right now they aren’t serving alcohol with the slushees, but in the next few weeks they are adding margaritas and tequila as an add on for the cherry lemonade. Would highly recommend this as an anytime of day quick bite but for going here late at night whenever I’m in the west village. The elote looks awesome and will definitely try that next time so I would check it out. TLDR: Delicious taquitos, late night vibes and some vegetarian and vegan options!

I was having the most horrible day of my life before coming to TQTO. My brother and I came to TQTO devastated after a after a lonely, slow, long, and rigorous night at the club, getting absolutely no attention from anyone whatsoever ever. In our defeat we ordered a some tacos and chips and guac,. We were not prepared for the absolutely mind altering experience that was the southwestern sauce on top of shredded chicken. Over said chicken tacos and chips and guac, my brother and I made life changing realization that have changed the trajectory of our lives; hopefully for the better. The tacos were really good and the people were nice. I enjoyed my steak tacos. I am from out of town so I will be back when ever I am in NYC!

Great place to visit with friends. The food is really delicious and service is very quick, but there is relatively limited seating here so I would recommend coming in an off hour.

Love this little slice of heaven on Macdougal. Had never had this spin on taquitos before and I'm IN LOVE. I recommend the chicken taquitos w/ red sauce + chips & guac + elote The small order size is pretty perfect, but I recently discovered I can also take down the large order with 5 tqto's. The taquitos are crispy and so flavorful, I get the 4 blend melted cheese on top. When I'm done with them I love using my chips to scoop off the red sauce and cheese mixture that's leftover YUM! No salsa will be wasted here lol The elote might be my FAVORITE thing on the menu. They sprinkle taquis on top and ooohhh man, who thought of this?!? Delish! Recommend 10/10. Try them out!

Older woman eating food at the counter and didn't respond when spoken to. Ordered "Tex mex" from the young girl that walked up. I am from South Texas. I've never seen anything like this. Tacos are hot and have lots of meat, but they are in a tub of grease that makes the tortilla fall apart before you can finish the first one. No ice for drinks. No ac. I would try another spot.

Placed an order on Ubereats and waited for about an hour.. and then suddenly the order gets cancelled. Agent says that I cancelled the order but I didn't even touch the app the whole time. Not sure what was going on. I was trying to use a promotion they were running and also try the place but they cancelled the order on me. unfortunate.

Get the taquitos straight fire will def be back. Salsa is bomb too. I get the vibe they make it daily in the back
