The Best Deals During Seattle Restaurant Week Spring 2024 - Eater Seattle

"Tom Douglas’s new downtown wine bar is putting a unique, wine-focused spin on SRW by offering a “rare opportunity to enjoy vintage glass pours on the tasting menu.” So you can get a 2010 Vignalta Arqua Colli Euganei Rosso with wild boar lasagna for $50, or a 2012 Barolo Cerutti Cru with a smoked duck breast for $65." - Harry Cheadle

Such an amazing Italian experience. Food, wine and company of Matteo, Robb and Josie was amazing. We sat at the window and enjoyed the view of the Harbor Steps. Best restaurant experience I’ve had all year. But shhhhh Don’t tell anyone about it. They want to keep it small and authentic.

The wine, costumer service, and location were beyond exceptional! We ran into Due Leoni on our way to the Dillon and I’m so glad that we did. I love a good wine bar, and this one was seriously a welcoming and charming environment. We’ll be back!

Loved this place! Friendly staff, delicious food and an incredible selection of Italian wines. Perfect for dinner or even just drinks/snacks. Will definitely be going back!

Google
One of the most unique wine bars in Seattle. If you want something different this is the place to go. Phenomenal selection of Italian wines that you could probably only find here. Incredibly knowledgeable staff was incredibly friendly and stepped through every wine they served. Definitely take your wine loving friends here.

Such a great addition to downtown. Intimate and vibrant atmosphere with warm service. Can’t wait to come back for either just a bite and drink or spend a whole evening here.

Amazing wine. Amazing cheeses. We looked in. Thought it looked adorable. Walked to intersection and turned around. We knew we couldn't miss this place. Most importantly amazing people. At the tables next to us and the owners. The owners are true gems. So friendly. So knowledgeable. Just great folks. Stop in and have an experience and a great glass of wine.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and it was truly one of our favorite stops of the trip! This tiny wine bar seats maybe only 16 people but is full of charm, kind employees, and delicious Italian wines. Mattia was wonderful and let us sample multiple delicious varietals, served with a tiny sample of fresh bread. We also got to meet the owners who were very friendly!! They serve charcuterie and cheese options to pair with your vino as well, and if you find a bottle you love, they sell bottles to go too! It was a nice break from the regional wines in other local tasting rooms— if you’re a wine fan, looking for a cute pre or post dinner drink, or a good date spot, definitely make sure to stop in!

I'm not sure where to start. The food was amazing. The wine. Amazing. The staff - I feel like I met new family. I'd drive the 3 hours from Portland just to go here, and only here. One of the best wine experiences I've ever had. It is super cozy, but worth every dollar spent. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yelp
I write this conflicted. Part of me doesn't want to "let the cat out of the bag". That said, this place is as good as it gets. We stopped in for a glass of wine before a dinner reservation and didn't want to leave. Rob is the best and made the experience (along with the fantastic wine and food)! He also ruined our dinner because you couldn't top the wine and food we got here. Wine, food, service, ambiance... A+

Yelp
Can't speak for the restaurant as I live on the East Coast. Their customer service for online orders is pathetic. I ordered a case of wine for which they charged my credit card and sent an order confirmation. A month later I'd heard nothing. Calls and texts went unanswered. I finally opened a dispute with Chase to reverse the charge. Still nothing from them about the problem.

Yelp
This place has been on our radar for a few weeks and we finally checked it out last week. We've been searching for an Italian wine bar this may just be one of the best wine bars in the city. As we were walking in, we immediately felt welcomed by the host and owner. My friends and I are wine drinkers but very much beginners to Italian wine so it was nice that they educated us on each of the bottles as well as region and background of the wines they were serving. The bread and cheese pairing was phenomenal along with the house focaccia, all made from scratch by the owner himself. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully try the pizza and risotto!

Yelp
Where to start? My husband and I spent our anniversary in Seattle and this place made the experience! A cute boutique wine bar right by Pike Place. We stopped in for a glass of wine and didn't want to leave. Rob is as good as it gets! Not only did he help us select a fantastic Italian wine (glass turned into a bottle) but he educated us on it and made us feel at home. We ended up sampling the menu and had a fantastic time! Ironically, we have a trip to Italy lined up in a couple of months and Rob detailed a couple of local places for our visit. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Yelp
Had an amazing night enjoying Italian wine and cheese. The owners are the last of a dying breed who really care about the hospitality experience. Small intimate shop, unique for seattle.

Yelp
The first time I went to Tra Due Leoni, Robert opened the wine bar early just to accommodate my particular reservation request. The next time I went to Tra Due Leoni, Robert and Josie closed late to accommodate my very late arrival on my way home from another nearby place. Both times, my friend and I were treated to amazing wine, the perfect bite of cheese and bread and the most wonderful hospitality. Go there for the wine. Go there for the cheese. Go there for the bread. Go there for the food. Go there for an education shared by people who are passionate about what they do and what they know. Go there for a most excellent experience. And then, keep going back. Your palate will thank you and your heart will be warmed, time and time again.

Yelp
Josie and Rob are the best. We ducked into what we thought was an entry way of a large building so I could grab car keys out of my purse in the pouring rain.... We saw the sign on the door while I was looking through my purse and they invited us right in! Due to open soon, this splotch of Italy will be a HUGE hit in Seattle. Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Want the coziest, friendliest wine bar? The people here are the most gracious people. Wine list is pretty decent and food was tasty. Stop by before they get too busy!
