This review reflects only my experience with the Norwalk store: I placed a curb side pickup order for a yard cart online. Prior to my order I verified the overall size of the product packaging would fit in my SUV, which it would. When I arrived at the store, the unit was a pre-assembled floor unit to my surprise, and I was told this was the only one available in this model. I stated to the person (who I later find was the manager) that this was listed online as an unassembled item that would have fit in my SUV, and I had just driven 40 minutes to pick this up; no apology was given at this time. We then discussed a solution and I asked if they would be able to remove approximately 10 bolts so I would be able to place this unit in my SUV since there was no communication via website or store about the unit being the last available and a preassembled floor model. I was told it was too late in the evening and they didn’t have time before close in 20 minutes, but I could leave it there and come back in a day or two; again no apologies for the inconvenience. I said this would not work as I’ve already spent my time and mileage driving here. Lastly I asked if they would be able to return the order due to this inconvenience and ship a new item to my house, waiving the shipping cost. The answer was simply “no, we don’t do that”; again no apology was given.
For all of you out there, if you’ve read this far, I’d highly recommend calling tractor supply prior to ordering and make sure they are not selling you a floor model that is pre assembled. Also, if you value customer service, avoid the Norwalk store. Thanks for reading.
