I love Trade! I’ve been there twice; once a few years ago and then again this week. I’ve been with coworkers both times who enjoy eating varied foods. Sharing appetizers and ordering multiple “rounds” is a perfect setup for a group. Each dish was so good in its own way. The octopus was perfectly grilled and seasoned, the honey nut squash was well seasoned and interesting, the feta baked in phyllo was outstanding, and overall everything was great. Can’t wait to get back to Boston and go again!

Well-executed and elevated Greek cuisine with an incredible vibe! Up front, I only had a salad and pita with a spread, so I will have to update this when I can return for more of the food. But what I had was delicious. I opted for the chopped salad with roasted chicken and fire grilled pita with a whipped feta spread. The salad was a Greek twist on the cobb, and it delivered. The pita came out hot, and the spread was amazing- spicy feta deliciousness. But what set this place apart was the service and ambience. I sat at the bar, watching them fire up the pita right in front of me. Aldi, my server, was efficient and helpful, tending to my every (particular) need. He accommodated my request for a side order of pita and just one spread because the one listed on the menu was too large of a portion for just one person. Small things like this make a huge difference in the quality of one's experience at a restaurant. And the space is beautiful, with a relaxing coffee-house-equivalent soundtrack playing jazzy versions of popular hits. I could literally stay in here all day. Congrats to the team, and I can't wait to return.

Place was awesome. Had to wait about 20 minutes post reservation checkin because they were backed up, gave us a free round on the house because of it. Much appreciated! Service was great. Got the dips, octopus, breaded burrata, a harvest salad (pictured). Octopus was excellent!! Very picky with texture and it was spot on. Burrata was awesome, and the dips and salad completed each other prior to the entrees. Not pictured 2 beef wellingtons, two lamb entrees, and scallops. Bread pudding for dessert. Food took about 45 minutes to come after the last app, which felt like forever sitting there, idk why. Also only got 3 scallops with my orzo dinner, server said it came with 4. The scallop orzo tasted like spaghettios, which is disappointing for like $47. The scallops were awesome, but again you only get 3 smaller scallops. I should've got the chicken or the swordfish, but they were out of the swordfish, so went with this. Got rung up for an extra dip plus extra bread we didn't order, so they had to fix the check. It was a great time, just a few small things that came up and kept up. Used an inkind discount, and with the free round, we were happy. If we didn't have either of these, with a 20% tip our bill was going to be closer to $750 for the 5 of us. At that price point I'd be back on special occasions and absolutely would not get the scallops. Would be excited to try the chicken, maybe come for lunch? Worth a visit.

Truly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had and I’m picky. I like ambient lighting—absolutely no fluorescence, nothing too bright or studio like. Beautiful music that you can talk over. Intimate settings and real candlelight (actual candles). Trade had it all. On top of that, their food has only gotten better since winning awards for it! I had an incredible time on a date and did not expect that every dish would be delicious. Oh, and I’m now a bread pudding addict because of them. Don’t miss!

This upscale Greek restaurant has an upscale cool ambiance with low lights for a romantic athmosphere. The food is good, very nice mixed appetizers. The swordfish was a bit dry, not quite at the level one would expect given the price. The spinach side was excellent. Overall a good place, if expensive

Great food absolutely smashing vegetarian food. Our server Muwange was the best. It was our second time here, and the menu had changed. Everytime its been great

The food at Trade Boston was incredible. The lamb was cooked perfectly with a beautiful sear and tender center, served over a creamy green risotto that was full of flavor. Santiago M provided fantastic service. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the service.

Excellent food. Fresh ingredient. Perfect flavor combination. Mezzo spread is a must try, best tzatziki we’ve had in a while. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the lobster pasta was succulent. But the one thing that you can’t miss out on is the Baklava pistachio wafer. It’s the BEST dessert ever. Light yet filling. Sweet, tangy, crunchy. Perfection !

Let's start off that the ambiance in there was superb. The music was nice and not too loud, it is very dim and romantic. The service was absolutely incredible. Our server was very attentive and guided us well in good food choices. The food was by far the star of the show. Everything was absolutely delicious. They served us homemade pita that was both crisp but soft on the inside and warm. Overall, great experience!!

I haven't written a review in a long time but after my experience last night I cannot help myself. Trade is officially my favorite restaurant in Boston! I cannot believe it has taken me this long to go! Everything from the ambiance, service and food were 20/10! Mohammed was our waiter and I cannot even begin to express how great he was. He was accommodating, gave fantastic recommendations, and kept the drinks/water flowing. At one point we had another person join us last minute so we had to move tables and he was so patient with us! Especially considering we had already had a few drinks at that point. For the food we started with the mezze & pita, lamb arancini and octopus. Holy shit those dips and pita. I could have had 100 pieces of that pita!! The lamb arancini were huge and delicious. The octopus though...I wish I got a second order of it. I can't remember what it was served on top of, I think it was a pea puree. Regardless, the octopus was grilled perfectly and whatever it was on top of was delicious as well! For my main I had the herb crusted lamb chops. I thought the lamb would be the highlight of the dish...don't get me wrong they were amazing but honestly the arrowhead cabbage was out of this world! I never thought I would love a veggie side so much. Since we decided we weren't ready to leave and apparently had no concept of how full we actually were we finished with the chocolate cake. We jokingly asked for an extra large piece and they delivered. Imagine the ideal chocolate cake and that is what we had! Overall, I will be dreaming of this meal for a long time and cannot wait to go back!!

Casual chic dining space in the financial district. Food and service are consistently good. The menu offerings have more of a Greek tilt now, vs 3-4 years ago, but still good. I had the lamb pie this time- chunky pieces of stewed lamb encased in filo pastry and a layer of thinly sliced potatoes - not my favorite but it was pretty good. The Pinot noir was outstanding though- mellow, smooth, dry.

Trade in Boston, Massachusetts is a stylish and beautiful Mediterranean restaurant led by co-owner and James Beard Award-winning Chef, Jody Adams. We love a female chef. This is an easy-shareable spot. Almost every dish is shareable. The restaurants is inspired by the Greek way of life of fostering relationships, building conversations and connections over the sharing of plates. -website Every dish seemed like it had a meaning. All dishes we tried were rich in flavor and had a connection with Mediterranean cuisine. My group enjoyed the crispy calamari, burrata, hummus and pita, spinach pizzette, and then I had the tuna and rice bowl as my entree. We went for a non-drinking lunch but I must say something about the cocktails at this spot. The cocktails are fantastic and the bar is elegant and beautiful. Just a suggestions. No big deal! On fire halloumi cheese.

Overall good experience at trade. It was empty when we went at 5:30 on a Saturday. Service was very quick and good came fast. The shrimp was massive! Dips were good especially with the bread and chicken. Calamari was also good and sauce was good. In my opinion there are better Med style restaurants in boston but this was a solid meal.

I came here with a colleague on a work trip without a reservation and they were so accommodating about squeezing us in despite a busy night. The food was incredible! I most loved the baked feta in phyllo, but the falafel burger pilaf and village salad (their take on a classic Greek salad) were also delicious. My only complaint would be the very dark lighting that wasn't ideal for a work dinner or Yelp photos (but maybe I'm just getting old).

This place is definitely the definition of a hidden gem. I came here for my birthday with my best friend. Being Greek myself I certainly can appreciate delicious and authentic Mediterranean and Greek dishes. Everyone here is amazing, special shout out to Miguel making our experience fabulous. You can always tell the quality of a Mediterranean restaurant by a few things: their dips, their pitas, and their octopus! All three hit the mark and then some! The baked feta was what dreams are made of. The branzino was cooked to perfection. The drinks were refreshing, and the dessert (orange bread pudding) was the perfect palate cleanser with a fresh orange flavor. I'm extremely impressed and will absolutely be back. I've already recommended the place nonstop since my visit.

There are so many positives about Trade. I'll start with the ambience which is classy, dimly lit with indoor plants added a charm to it. The servers were really friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the menu really well and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered Aphrodite's tears cocktail which is Mathilda liquor based drink and was utterly refreshing. My wife ordered a flight of Greek brandy's and liquor and she loved Mathilda liquor the most. In terms of food, baked feta was delicious and glazed eggplant was good as well. We also ordered pita mze as well and no complaints. Overall a nice date place, highly recommended and would visit again.

For Dine Out Boston, I had the pleasure of trying out Trade, a greek restaurant serving complex flavors in all of their courses as well as their drinks! The feta in the salad had an amazing texture and the charred carrots had such a unique sweet and tart flavor, coming from fried parsnips, cashews, orange blossom honey, and dill labneh. I could NOT stop eating pita with this sauce after finishing the carrots!!! The pita and meze came with spicy whipped feta and charred eggplant but its pairing with the tzatziki was of course my favorite! The steak came with cripsy smashed potatoes, mushroom, "horta" sautéed greens, and more charred carrot The sorbet had a light and refreshing flavor to end the meal Overall, I had a wonderful time here at Trade and definitely recommend visiting here for a special occassion including a great wine selection and authentic greek flavors‼

Pita with dips - 1/5 Spanakopita pizza - 1/5 Mushroom pizza 2/5 Falafel - 0/5 I enjoy greek food but I did not enjoy this restaurant - its expensive so avoid if you are a vegetarian

Rarely do I just hand out a perfect 5/5 however Trade, one of the Boston's finest Greek joint is definitely an exception to this. I was celebrating my friends anniversary. Great cozy, inviting, warm upscale ambience. The restaurant had olive trees which gave a touch of nature right in the heart of the bustling city. Drinks were strong and good. We ordered everything that was vegetarian on the menu. I was actually surprised to see so many vegetarian options. Some of my favorites were Pomegranate Glazed Eggplant, Falafel Bulgar Pilafc, Spanakopita Flatbread, and fried cauliflower. The food was so tasty; it was extremely well seasoned and cooked perfectly. All the sauces were delicious. The presentation was outstanding. The staff is extremely friendly. They do charge 3% fee to the overall bill excluding the gratuity/tax which is a bit off putting . The service is a bit slow and even though the drinks took a long time to come; considering everything was so amazing we overlooked the long wait. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Boston!

Always a busy happening spot; mainly people eating after work and having a good time. The oven is a beautiful centerpiece of the restaurant. Don't let that out you off though if you don't like people in suits. The food here is delicious. Most plates are served tapas style meaning you get to try a bunch of things. The grilled shrimp are delicious, as are the flatbreads. You really can't go wrong. If you've ever wanted to order Bronzino, but been afraid of choking to death on a bone or just feel too intimidated to do it yourself staff will actually do it for you if you ask! They also have some unique wine selections, mainly from Greece, but also a really great one from Lebanon!

Ate at this delicious Mediterranean restaurant for dinner. I tried the pita spread (pita and hummus), spanakopita bread, tuna tartare, lamb meatballs, burrata, and the mushroom flatbread. All of the dishes were fresh, with the mushroom flatbread being my favorite. The dough was thin and crispy, and the cheeses, fig, and mushroom were the perfect flavor combination. The inside of Trade is really cute- dimly lit, big wooden lanterns hanging, in addition to other modern lighting, and music playing in the background- perfect for social outings! It is a little noisy, but service was fast and attentive. Very big tables that are able to accommodate larger parties; nice, long marble bar in addition to the tables!

Went here for Dine Out Boston, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! Service was great and attentive! Really classy ambiance! As for food, we got what felt like a true Greek feast! Zucchini cakes were soft, pillowy, and subtlety sweet. Pita was fresh and toasted to perfection, paired perfectly with the three dips! Chicken was moist and tender. The star was definitely the oxtail pastitsio! Pasta was soft, but the oxtail ragu was beyond tender and so flavorful! And despite the discount, they were extremely generous with the amount of meat! Finally, the baklava Napoleon was pleasant and not overly sweet. Great way to end the meal. Trade definitely did not disappoint in giving me and my friends a wonderful Dine Out experience!

Trade was amazing! I went with colleagues and enjoyed the ambiance! The servers were very attentive. Because we had a party of 24 we had a preset menu. The pita bread platter had spicy feta, charred eggplant and tzatziki! I had Calamari for my starter, and the roasted peppers were an extra treat! I also had the Prime Lamb Chops for my main and enjoyed them and the summer vegetable briam! For desert we had a strawberry chocolate, coffee dessert. I can't remember the name of it, but the flavors blended well and it was not too rich.

Stopped into this lovely establishment for some appetizers. Everything we ordered was done very well!! I hate beets and mushrooms, but was able to tolerate both of them here!! So I was very impressed! The burrata, on thinly sliced beets with grapes, olives, etc was really good! The lamb meatballs were yummy! The mushroom pizzette with figs and more was delish! And the yuzu mocktail, divine! I'd love to give this place 5 stars but our waiter was a little pushy! Wanted us to order a bottle of wine and more food when we specifically said we were just doing a few apps and were not interested in drinks. Overall I'd definitely go back for more!

So confused by the mixed reviews of this place! It must be all about what you order, because we had a great experience and always have during past visits. We stopped by for a friend's birthday celebration and had such a great meal. Service was super fast, which was much appreciated since we were a bit late for our reservation and needed to make a show shortly after. The staff was really accommodating and didn't compromise on the quality of the food or experience at all. I started with the Mykonos cocktail, which I would totally order again, and the tuna tartar and calamari. There was a bit too much of the crunchy topping on the tuna tartar, it over powered the dish a little bit, but the flavors and quality of the tuna made up for it in my opinion. The calamari was great - the peppers and lemon aioli make it a little more unique than the traditional style. My number one tip for this place - if you're here with two or three other people, go for the Greek Feast. Such a great way to sample a variety of menu items and it was the perfect amount of food for four when paired with a couple of apps. Trade is worth a visit in my book, just pay attention to the prices and Yelp reviews so you know what to order and you'll be good to go.

I can not recommend this place enough. Been here quite a few times now and it has never disappointed - not once! The food is great - lots of options, the service has been wonderful each and every time (all the staff have been so kind and fun!) and the atmosphere is great! It's decorated very nicely and just has a great vibe no matter where you sit (I've now sat in the bar, main dining, and side room and loved them all). I even celebrated my birthday here with a friend and made a quick reservation note on open table along the lines of "table with a good vibe" etc and they were SO accommodating and recommended we grab a drink at the bar beforehand so that they could have a better table for us and gave menu suggestions (this also happened to be my first time trying this restaurant). Just love this place so much and there's something for everyone here. I recommend the espresso martini!!

Went here for valentines day. I really would describe this restaurant as sexy. The lighting is very low and there are a lot of tables for two that only have one small light between the two of you, which encourages conversation. I thought the food was very good. I really enjoyed the octopus and they had a special white wine which was a santorini assyritko wine and it was lovely. Im looking forward to coming back here! I would say the flatbread is super small really not worth ordering unless you're sharing it as a starter

We went here for a New Year's Eve dinner. The service was amazing and our server really knew the menu and had some great recommendations. They were very accommodating. We had the Meze platter for apps along with the fried feta phyllo and the glazed carrots all of which tasted amazing! I got the spanakopita pizza as my dinner and although it was small, it was good for an entree portion. I would def go back just for the fresh warm pita bread and the baked feta in phyllo.

What a bizarre experience. Had a 8:45pm reservation. Nice atmosphere but they cut the music off an hour before the restaurant closed, so we ate in silence. 3 plates came out before our cocktails. Servers were rushing to get home. Our main entree of choice apparently has been back ordered due to distributor problems for weeks. When we didn't order another main instead, our server added 3 bottles of sparkling water on the bill that we didn't order to try to make up the difference on the tab. Our server also disappeared for our entire dinner. Food was good but what a comically bad experience.

I went here for a friend send off and the place really did not disappoint. We had a large size party and the staff did a tremendous job of supporting our needs. The drinks are amazing although a bit pricey. I got the Greek Sunset and I could not taste the alcohol, which has its pros and cons. I was not complaining! We got essentially every food dish on the menu and my favorites were the lamb jobs and the flatbreads.

We went here for restaurant week but we ended up getting cocktails and appetizers. Fantastic burrata, tuna tartar and crusty cauliflower. I will return with more of my friends!

The food was amazing and delicious. I've tried a lot of restaurants in Boston and by far, this is #1 on my top list! The service was fantastic and everyone was super nice + the setting is intimate!!! Also, everything from the first course to dessert was impeccable! Let me know what you think after you try it?

I really don't understand why this place doesn't have better reviews! My husband and I went on a Saturday night and thought the Mediterranean food was awesome and it has a really nice aesthetic. The spring salad (pea shoots, dates, radishes) was light and flavorful, and we both loved the eggplant and baked feta dishes (honey, pistachio, roasted grapes and olives). My husband liked the citrusy ceviche, but for me the Anotolean stole the show. It's like a spanikopita flatbread with delicious dough & flavors (dill spinach cheese lemon). Five dishes was too much for us, but I would definitely get this again. To finish the evening, my husband devoured the espresso chocolate torte. I'm also a vegetarian with a ton of allergies and they were very accommodating!

We went on a weekday lunch, and I ordered a tuna salad entree, which was good but not worth its price for the amount you get (Glorified Poke bowl, basically). The main issue I had was the attitude of the person at the front desk/waitress. It was clear that they were skeptical of my service dog and asked a few times about whether he was a service dog while giving us looks. Their tone and attitude was unwelcoming and it felt discriminatory and uncomfortable. The waitress had a poor attitude towards us and interrupted us multiple times while we clearly weren't ready. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice but won't be going there again.

Ordered the autumn salad..it was $19 It came with grilled chicken. Dry af Who the hell is cooking back there. Absolute rubbish. Panera bread is wayyy better Skip it

Trade is a chic Greek restaurant in the heart of Boston, very close to South Station. This place has a classy vibe to it. The staff is friendly and our server was polite, patient, and explained the menu well. He also proactively suggested specials. We asked to be seated at a different table and the staff made the change without any fuss which is not the case at many restaurants. The baked feta was delicious and one of the best baked fetas I've ever had! Charred eggplant and pita & maze were good too. I'll especially mention the tzatziki sauce, which was absolutely mouth watering! We ate this as part of the pita & meze but ask for this sauce on the side even if you don't order the meze. Loved trying the mastiha drink - don't go by the clear look of the spirit, it's not for the faint hearted! I ordered the flight which comprised mastiha and 2 brandies. Brandy was average and would recommend skipping the flight and going for mastiha straight. Overall, it's a bougie restaurant that offers a lot both for the palette and for the 'Gram. I give 4 stars because the bathroom wasn't as clean as you'd expect from a high end establishment.

New menu is terrible, much smaller portions and they took out a lot of the things we liked on their menu. Very expensive and you will Leave hungry. Management/owners, please go back to the old menu!

I came here for my birthday celebration, a party of 8. I do recommend you to make a reservation prior to going. The place was dark and lively. Our waitress was tentative and friendly. For food we ordered: Grilled octopus: It was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all. Perfectly seasoned. Village salad: It was a simple light salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, red onion and feta. Nothing special. Pomegranate Glazed Eggplant: This was recommended by our waitress. I am usually not a fan of eggplants but this definitely changed my mind. Pita & Meza: A must share to share. I love all the different dippings: Tzatziki, Spicy Whipped Feta, Charred Eggplant. My friends love the spicy whipped feta--it's not spicy at all. Greek Feast: All the meat were cooked perfectly, medium rare. The lamb was not gamey at all. All the meat were so tender and not chewy at all. It is a must. It says feeds up to 4 people but I think it can feed up to 6 people to be honest. Especially if you are ordering appetizers to share like we did. Thirty-Two Ounce Prime Ribeye: Again cooked perfectly medium rare. Really good.

Solid spot for an upscale business lunch in the financial district, especially when it is on someone else's dime. Menu recently downsized and changed a little bit - my usual, the salmon entree with pomegranate seeds, is now served on a bed of arugula with a squash purée. It was a bit underwhelming this time around. Mezzes and appetizers (brussel sprouts, eggplant, and mezze plate) were highlights. French fries with the sandwiches are nice too. Service was a little slow, but they were quick to fill water glasses. Trade is an airy, classy spot on the greenway, good for groups, and checks the boxes for a business lunch.

I would probably rate between a 3 and a 4. Service was ok. Took order quickly but waited a little bit for food. Pizzas were a decent size but nothing spectacular taste wise.

Would rate this place a 2.5/5. Overall, had higher expectations which fell short. The service was good, but the food I thought was pretty subpar. The oxtail pastitsio was a little salty for my taste and I was not that impressed. It came out a little cold so the sauce was very thick. Lamb chops were decent but nothing to rave about. The one dish that I thought was exceptional was the meze and pita which was an appetizer with three different sauces to dip your pita into.

No Must-try: Pita & Meze This place is very good for drinks, maybe a date for the ambiance, but I'm not sure if I would recommend for food. I wanted to come here because the food looked so beautiful in their Instagram and other people's pictures and indeed the food is beautiful, but I was disappointed on flavors. It's also extremely expensive for what you get. The style is tapas or small plates. The best thing I ate was probably the pita and Meze. The bread it's a mix between Greek pita bread and a pizza bread and it comes out charred from the oven. The dips were all very nice, particularly the spicy whipped feta. My least favorite was the roasted cauliflower, mainly because it was pretty much raw, not roasted enough. The flavors were interesting and weird, but it needed more toppings and sauce to make it a compelling dish. The rest of the dishes I tried - fried calamari, meatballs, flatbread, baked feta - we're good but forgettable.

For what you pay, this restaurant is poor value. It's ordinary food at extraordinary prices. Perhaps Jody Adams, the renowned chef who is one of the partners behind Trade, was not in the kitchen tonight. On top of that, this restaurant is loud. That's fine if you're not interested in conversing with those you are dining with. The service was fine, but overall, it was an unpleasant, wasted evening.

After a 4-hour whale watching tour Fat Man Reviews needed a snack. So we walked down from the Boston Harbor and stopped into Trade for a drink and a fill up. Trade offers innovative Mediterranean plates & cocktails served in lively, modern, high-ceilinged setting. I decided to have an early afternoon cocktail and ordered a Waiting for the Sun. This was served with Hendrick's gin, apricot, honey, rose, and citrus. The gin and honey come through first in a sweet and floral flavor. The apricot is followed by the citrus, which I thought was lemon. This drink was pretty refreshing and had a good amount of alcohol in it. We ordered the Anatolian Flatbread. This was topped with spinach, leek, kasseri cheese and dill. The flatbread was quite soggy in the middle. The spinach and leak stood out and offered a nice sweet and onion type flavor. The cheese is flavorful, almost like a mozzarella but more buttery, and it was melted well. The dill adds a nice pop in both taste and fragrance. However, the dish was pretty oily and left a weird texture in my mouth. Trade has lunch and dinner menu offering breads, salads, sandwiches, starters and main dishes. They have a full bar and offer a large wine list. The server was nice enough, but the vibe from the staff was not as inviting as we had hoped. The Fat Man says that Trade is NOT Fat Man Approved.

We visited between lunch & dinner. enjoying their appetizers and drinks. Very good and a cool vibe. Loved relaxing in the spacious booths enjoying our visit. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I stopped by to grab a drink before our dinner reservations at another restaurant. The ambiance was so nice, the drinks were great, and the menu looked good, so we decided to cancel our reservations at the other restaurant and give Trade a shot. We were not disappointed, the food was fantastic. Personally, I think it's a good place to go with friends and get a bunch of different things to share. We started off with the pita & meze, calamari, fried cauliflower, pomegranate glazed eggplant, baked feta in phyllo, and stuffed squash. They were all excellent and I especially loved the eggplant and squash. The spicy whipped feta that comes with the pita & meze was amazing too (it's not really spicy at all, just has a good light kick to it) We then split 3 main entrees among the five of us. We got the rib eye, lemon chicken, and grilled lamb chops. Again everything was awesome, but the rib eye was melt in your mouth and was the winner for me. Even after all that, we decided to try dessert as well and got the Loumidis chocolate crema and the baklava yogurt napoleon. I really liked the baklava, but the chocolate crema was fantastic. The service we got was also exceptional. Our server Dmitri was super helpful with suggestions and any questions we had. He and the other staff were super attentive as well. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back next time I'm up in Boston!

Trade has become one of my favorites! Overall, the ambience and service was excellent. In terms of dress code, business casual should suffice. There's street parking or underground garage near by. I'm a sucker for Mediterranean cuisine, and they didn't let me down. We began with the Crispy Rhode Island Calamari, which was some of the best calamari I'd ever had. It was lightly fried, not greasy, not overcooked, or chewy. That was greatly appreciated! Not to add the incredible aioli that comes with it. We ordered the Greek feast for the entrée, which was pricey but well worth it! The menu indicates that it serves four people, however it can also serve two. The meat was all cooked to perfection, the side salad was wonderful, and the feta was really fresh! The roasted vegetables are to die for. So tasty! Finally, for dessert, we got the affogato, just amazing. Chefs kiss! I will without a doubt be back!

Nothing but great things to say about Trade. This place is truly a gem; the kind of place you bring your mom to when she's in town visiting. I loved everything we tried here, from the mezze platter to the cocktail selection to the baked brie with phyllo, to the affogato for dessert, everything was incredible. I'm looking for a place that while I'm eating, I'm trying to figure out the next time I can go back there to eat while still there. Loved the ambience. They have decent vegetarian options. Dips were amazing We had Pomegranate Glazed Eggplant - 2/5 Veggie platter - 1/5 Won't recommend that. Take otherwise straightforward Greek dishes and with a little bit of culinary creativity and care, elevate them into some very delicious dishes. Amazing what this place does with humble vegetables like carrots, beets, and eggplant. Very comfortable setting, with extremely solicitous service. Can't decide which wine to order? They will bring you samples to taste, even if it's just for a single glass. I was very impressed with that. Nice also that it is not excessively noisy, with enough space in between tables to allow for normal conversation. Trade has been around for a number of years, and it's easy to see why it remains such a popular spot.

I don't ever leave a review, however I went to Trade with my family tonight, and it was one of the worst high end meals I have ever had. Our server came off as extremely rude and awkward. We asked if the Greek feast was good for three people, and he was unsure so he said maybe. We told him to take our card for the check when dinner finished and he awkwardly smiled and stood there. We ordered two rounds of drinks and each time it came out 25 min later. The food was mediocre at best, with the pita bread being the best thing on the menu. Deserts were an absolute miss and there was about 3x more foam than coffee in our latte. When spending 400$ on dinner for three people, you expect better service and much better food.

The décor and atmosphere of this restaurant is excellent. The service we very friendly and professional. This was our first time here and the waitress was kind enough to guide us on how many dishes we should order for our party of 4. The food was generally very good. We did not have a long wait for any of the dishes, although they came out staggered so we lost track of time as we ate each dish. We did not try any of the main courses, but tried almost all the sharable plates. The mezze platter was our favorite followed by the feta in phyllo dough. The flatbread pizza with mushrooms was good, but not amazing. The brussel sprouts had entirely too much balsamic which turned off several of our party. The wine list was extensive, and the Greek wine we had was exceptional. I had to take one star off for the price. I know this is Boston, and a prime location. I also know that the restaurant was completely full, so they are not having trouble filling the place. But the prices were higher that other exceptional restaurants in Boston.

Lovely ambiance, and delicious food! Love the dim light and semi loud music. Such a fun atmosphere and all staff are friendly and accommodating (:

Eight of us had dinner at Trade Saturday night and we had a wonderful experience thanks to the hospitality and care of Ilyana who made sure we had a lovely table in a quiet area... there was a huge variety of adult beverages and a delicious selection of appetizers... one being better than the next. Our favorites were a pomegranate, glazed eggplant dish and another one what is the stuffed squash with brown butter and rosemary yogurt. The main course meals were outstanding. Because it was a birthday celebration. We all enjoyed the Loumidis chocolate Crema, which is served in a martini glass... of course we ordered quite a few... we were all so comfortable that we committed to returning to Trade for the next special occasion

Greek and Mediterranean inspired menu in this Beauty of a restaurant located in the financial district of downtown Boston, Chef Jody Adams and crew deliver a delicious meal with excellent service to match. The village salad was colorful and fresh with some of the tastiest feta I've ever had. Followed that with crispy calamari cooked perfect,grilled octopus with fava santorini and fried capers. Lamb meatballs,just wow! Pillowy pita and meze which was a great vegetarian option for one of our guests. Entrees included oxtail pastitsio which was more of a deconstructed version of the traditional and did not disappoint. Lamb chops were tasty but a touch overcooked for my liking, and lemon brined spatchcock chicken was full of flavor but a little dry unfortunately. Dessert options are just a few items but don't sleep on them they're tasty choices to end your evening. Gotta say it's one of the prettier dining rooms in the downtown area with its high ceilings and Greek decor which make for a inviting atmosphere
