Six New Breweries Are Opening in Southern California: Here’s What to Know - Eater LA

"Ilana and Sterling Steffen secured Trademark Brewing’s 20,000 square foot space earlier this year. The first-time brewery owners created a storefront facade, and the brewery will showcase a 3,000 square feet tasting room that overlooks the manufacturing area. The two mezzanines that will eventually host private events, an extra tasting room, or potentially an arcade with a bar. Just like most of the other new breweries opening this year in Southern California, Trademark Brewing has no full kitchen, with a large area dedicated to food trucks. When ready to order beer, Trademark Brewing has an easy way to figure out what’s best for any imbiber. The first menu will be dedicated to hoppy palates; the second mostly German, Belgian, and French; and the last to sour and barrel aged beers. The opening is scheduled for late 2018." - Mona Holmes

Google
I got to check out Trademark Brewing for the 1st time since they were doing a watch party for the debate. I'm so glad they were showing it because I've now found a new watering hole. I had 3 different fantastic beers at a beautifully large bar with fantastic staff. I tried their seasonal german beer the coffee cream ale and one of their IPAs and all of them were delicious. Staff gave me recommendations for things to try and just overall had a great time.

Google
Trademark Brewing offers a variety of beers on tap. I'm not a beer drinker, but stopped in to visit with a friend and enjoy some food from her pop up. I ask the bartender for a recommendation and she made a good recommendation that was completely satisfying for my liking. The staff were friendly, venu is pretty large size with open space. Also, atmosphere is a little nosy, but still comfortable and enjoyable. Furthermore, prices are reasonable and there's outdoor seating. I enjoyed my visit here and would visit again. Thank you!

Google
Trademark Brewery earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars in my book. What sets this place apart is its strong community focus and the plethora of themed events they host, including watch parties, paint nights, and more. It's evident that they're deeply rooted in their local community, which adds to the charm of the brewery. One thing to note is that while they don't have a food menu, they make up for it by inviting guest food vendors to set up in their parking lot. It's a great concept, but be prepared for potential wait times as most vendors take a while to prepare your food. My advice? Order as soon as you arrive or consider bringing your own snacks to tide you over. Speaking of amenities, the brewery allows outside food, making it convenient for patrons. However, outside drinks are a no-go, so keep that in mind. Additionally, parking is relatively hassle-free, with both street parking and a dedicated parking lot just a block away. Inside, the brewery is spacious and dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends, including the furry ones. The clean restrooms and ample TVs add to the overall comfort and convenience of the space. Overall, Trademark Brewery offers a fantastic community-driven experience with a variety of themed events, ample space, and inviting ambiance. While the lack of a food menu may be a minor inconvenience, the brewery more than makes up for it with its vibrant atmosphere and welcoming vibe. It's definitely worth checking out for a laid-back evening with friends and good drinks.

Google
Cozy brewery that holds a watch party of multiple sports. Especially, F1 watch party is insane. One of the best place around LA to watch the world's most exciting car race event!

Google
Love the decor here. The tap room has great lighting, an open feel, and there's a nicely sized patio outside. Dogs are welcome. There was a food truck when we were there, but I'm not sure how frequently it's there. The flight I had was 5 beers, and they were all pretty tasty. Would recommend the Keyboard Warrior and yes that hits too close to home

Google
Headed to Trademark But only had time for 1 beer. This place is definitely one I'd like to revisit. There's a huge outdoor area with a food truck outside and the inside is just as big. Lots of selections of beer on tap, with people hanging out playing games. Very comfortable place to drink.

I was attending a sip n script calligraphy event here. At first I was going to give it one star because I kept calling and no one answered, and i was frustrated in not knowing where to park. I wasn’t sure if the place had parking, building parking structure nearby, or valet. But on my 3rd call, a very sweet voice answered and said there was only street parking available. After several loops around the nearby blocks, I Found a gap large enough to squeeze my car in. Once inside, everything changed. The relaxing vibe, and wonderful staff helped take the edge off all the outside chaos. I really was able to settle in, enjoy a brew and get comfortable. The tables were spaced, and there were several events going on, but it didn’t feel overcrowded. I ordered the Viking ale (blonde), it was smooth and well chilled. My son had the non-alcoholic strawberry lemonade slushy that he guzzled down. Each drink was 5 bucks, an extraordinary deal considering ever price every where has skyrocketed! If this place was closer, to my work or home, it would definitely be my local hangout joint. I do plan on going back and supporting events here, because this place is a true gem!

Google
It was Octoberfest and Trademark was abuzz with people and dogs. There was a dog costume show that day. It was a lot of fun. People were in a good mood and super friendly. The brewery is a good size and had a lot of seating area. Lots of IPAs which I like, and mine was great. Next time I'll be spending more of my day here.

Yelp
We hosted our wedding brunch at Trademark Brewery because it was close by our venue and they could accommodate our schedule and guest count. The space was excellent -- we had the West Lawn booked but because we came early, our guests could sit inside before the noon crowd came in. The West Lawn was also where the taco truck we catered from set up, making everything very convenient. They were also very accommodating with what we wanted (non-alcoholic drinks on us and the rest on our guests) and even came up with wristbands and signage to convey this. Once the event started, everything went by without a hitch! Thanks so much for helping us run our event smoothly! One note that others have brought up: parking is a bit of a pain, so I would plan in advance if you're hosting an event and communicate where parking can be found.

Yelp
Friends and I met up here for the F1 GP replay at 10AM. We had a great time hanging out and catching the replay with other F1 fans. It was loud, and it was fun. We had drinks, so it was run of the mill and cool. The bartenders/staff came to pick up our glasses, and even though this may have been out of their control, how do you run out of food?! Every other brewery I've been to--even if they contract to have a food truck or restaurant cater an event--has never run out of food within half an hour of opening. Hence the three stars. Our friends who come here fairly frequently also said that was a first for running out. We were considering having Uber Eats delivery during the race but ended up going our separate ways after the race. With no sustenance before 11AM, we lived the lush life by having alcohol as breakfast. It was still fun, and we'll probably come back out again, but next time, I'll have my Uber Eats app ready to go.

Yelp
I really want to like this place but I just don't been here multiple times throughout the years and it's always not fun. Staff: not exactly rude. But never has been friendly and I've been here 5+ times over the past years they've been open. Beer: it's ok. Nothing great about it. Space: absolutely great space. Indoor and outdoor available and plenty of it. Bathrooms are also clean. Parking: not fun. But that just comes with the actual location of it. A bit dirty all around. It's free - I guess that's a good thing about it.

Yelp
One of my fav spots to watch games since they play audio! Tons of beer to choose from as well as slushies. They also do Bachelor watch parties! Tons of events weekly. Parking is a bit tough sometimes, it's mostly street parking.

Yelp
3.8 stars! What a huge place! Definitely a classic brewery. You can see the entire operation! Lots of choices on tap, and they even make their own seltzer drinks. Definitely lacking in food options though. They only have the one food truck vendor when we went and it took a while to get our food. What's cool is there was a trivia game during our visit.

Yelp
Trademark Brewing provided Steve and myself with a great beer! We had the Schwarzbier, Lost Summer and we were so very much impressed by it! With flavors of toasty, malty, tasty, dry and some caramel this dark beer was a real hit for us! We enjoyed it so very much! Trademark has some other intriguing beers that we would love to experience and hopefully at some point we can indeed delve into some of those!

Yelp
Contemplated posting this but it's been on my mind for a couple days and just need to put this out there. My best friend and I have been coming here every Tuesday for chess and mah Jong for a few Tuesdays in the past month. Everytime we go the lovely bartenders always ask or recognize us and give us that very gracious discount for coming out and playing on a Tuesday night. This past Tuesday we seen a bartender who we haven't seen and when we ordered he didn't ask us if we were here for games and we paid full price, totally not a problem since it's like $2 off no big deal maybe they don't do that anymore. Now, the man right behind us who is in our mah Jong group ordered and we overheard the bartender asking him if he was here for chess to get the discount. Now let's set the scene a bit: my best friend is black, the bartender is white, and the customer behind us was white... at no point after seeing us play at the mahjong table for an hour did the bartender offer us a discount on our refills. It's not about money here, it's about the fact he seen a black woman and immediately assumed she isn't here for chess or mahjong. Really uncomfortable because our group plays here every Tuesday but now it seems we won't be coming back. Trademark, treat your customers fairly and respectfully especially those of us who patron on a slow weekday routinely.

Yelp
Yes yes yes!! This brewery is amazing. Choices for everyone. Lots of seating, tvs inside, lots seating outside, games and food vendors. Friendly staff, clean and family friendly. (Also dog friendly).

Yelp
My friends and I went to Trademark when I found an F1 party was being hosted there. It was paired with the corroboration of my friend who worked in Long Beach and had been there multiple times. It seems as if this brewery is championing the two coveted watch parties of F1 and The Bachelor franchise, which is great on their part! Unfortunately, due to the time of day, I wasn't compelled to try their craft beer. I think I would have liked to have tried their pilsner. They also don't serve food, but had some food trucks stationed in their outside patio. Parking was tough; we parked on a street a 5 min walk away. The place was well staffed, and service appeared to be engaged. My only confusion was why online (albeit free) tickets would be reserved if they were never checked on the day of. This caused the problem of a seat shortage. They tried to remedy it by bringing high chairs from outside, and ultimately I know they can't turn folks away. All in all, it was a well-lit, clean-looking place!

Yelp
Came here for a baby shower and loved it! They have a giant Frida mural in the back (didn't get a chance to take a picture!) and both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I recommend their miche for the michelada lovers and my hubby loved their Oktoberfest beer. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
If you are in the Long Beach area then I highly recommend that you check this place out. They have a huge and unique selection of beer. They even have slushees which I think you should definitely try, especially on those hot days! They ample amounts of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. So definitely a great place to meet up with a group of friends & their dogs too. This brewery is dog friendly so bring them along. The day I went they had a food truck on site but recommend to double check their Instagram to see what food truck/vendor will be there that day. Loved it & hope yo be back again! Greet beers with amazing people!

George R.

Yelp
Great place with a local selection of craft beer on tap. I was able to quickly find a seat and enjoyed a board game with some friends to celebrate graduation. The budtenders are friendly, and the place is spacious. I recommend a wider selection of tastes to compliment the appeal. The parking could be better and unfortunately, you guys did not have a choice.

Yelp
Great open space. Beer is my favorite in long beach, esp if you like hazy IPAs. Dog and kid friendly. Parking can be a little difficult in the area. We are lucky to walk. Park a little down the road at the Asian market parking lot Food trucks that rotate every day of the week. And service is fast in the line.
google avatar

Loann H.

Yelp
Pretty cool place when traveling. They have a huge outdoor space to drink beers and chill. There's a lot of murals around and I appreciate art so much so thank you! I went here last year (or later) so this review has been long overdue. Took a lot of photos but I can't remember all the beer names or my favorites anymore.

Yelp
Trademark Brewing offers over a dozen in-house craft beers made directly in this factory. They also serve seltzers and alcoholic and nonalcoholic slushies. For sports lovers, they have tv screens, and for pet lovers, all pets are welcome. I am highly impressed by the interior of this brewery. I especially loved the spacious hanger-type feel with a beamed roof. The tables are also widely spread throughout the building, making social distancing a very comfortable space. The decor was minimalistic at its best. There is also an outdoor patio for people that love the outdoor drinking experience and ample space for food vendors to host mobile service. Outside foods are welcomed because, like many breweries, they don't serve food. That means you can bring your packed lunch or a takeout pizza and down it with their drinks. In addition, they have beer flights for the curious and undeceives. What I ordered: MICHELADAS (WEEKEND ONLY) - It's a Mexican lager with lime juice, assorted spices, and Clamato. For anyone who is a fan of Bloody Mary, this is something similar mixed with beer. This drink was CRISP and delivered a lot of flavors. We came on the day when Battambang BBQ was in the area. They took up the outdoor space and set up their mobile bbq pit. Overall, a very cool site to be around.

Yelp
This brewery appears to be located in a gentrified area of Long Beach. The interior is large and nicely decorated. They have some card and board games you can borrow and rotating food trucks. There is a pretty large parking area off to the side of the building. The beer is nothing to rave about. Nothing really stood out to me when I asked for a few samples. I ended up settling for the Codebreaker, a west coast IPA. Service was quick and the bartenders were friendly. I don't think I would come back to this brewery. Everyone's tastebuds are different, but I was pretty disappointed with the beer selection.
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
They have pretty okay beers, but their sour beer game is not good. If you like country music that's a little bit too loud, this place should be your jam. We only listen to country music when visiting the South haha. Unfortunately, right as we left, a homeless guy 15 feet away was pulling down his pants and blowing liquid goop right into the sidewalk. We went right back inside and had to strategize how to leave to get back to our car (not many parking options for this place). That sound and sight will forever be stamped with this brewery so we won't be back. I know it's not this business's fault, but shiet that was disgusting.
google avatar

Yelp
Great staff! And amazing food options with their popups. Not the mention excellent beer suggestions.

Diana D.

Yelp
First time at this brewery. A recommendation from a friend to go here for my daughter's birthday. The venue was large enough for your gatherings. The beer was decent . The neighborhood is a little on the shady side! When we drove up some guy was shooting up meth in the alley! Wouldn't want to be there after dark! We all wanted something to put in our stomachs before we started to drink. The only option was a taco truck out back. I understand that food prices are up, but for the price I would have expected real cheese and not cheese wheez on my nachos! The tacos were skimpy on the meat and very small portions! Hopefully they do a rotation of food trucks! If I was invited to come back here I wouldn't go out of my way to come back!
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
Amazing! Have been here a few time and have enjoyed it each time. Great beer, great tasting room and excellent patronage.
google avatar

Shelby P.

Yelp
I went on Saturday around 4pm and there were plenty of seats inside and outside. Friendly staff, dog friendly, games, and a nice selection of beers! They have events throughout the month. I'm looking forward to attending the events in the future!
google avatar

Teri T.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time at Trademark brewing but it wouldn't be a place I would regularly visit. 4.5 stars for interior/exterior with games, tvs, and lots of seating. Rotating food trucks on-site are a plus. Beer selection/flavor was 3.5 stars for beers (Nothing stood out as extraordinary and there were multiple you had to buy in the can or bottle and couldn't get on tap or in a flight). 2 stars for parking (I felt unsafe walking alone to from the parking lot they recommend for free parking after 5pm). If you want a place to hang out with a group of friends, Trademark is a great option. But I personally wouldn't offer this up as my top choice for breweries.
google avatar

Darlene D.

Yelp
Beer on beer on beer! If you're a beer lover, then you'll most definitely love Trademark Brewing. They offer 30 taps of Trademark Brewing Beers! That's a lot of beer! They even have slushy drinks that include beer. The space is enormous! They offer tons of indoor seating and tons of outdoor seating. It's an excellent place for large groups to hang out, laugh, and, of course, drink beer! Sooo, I'm not a beer drinker by no means, so I felt a bit empty-handed with no drink in my hand. I wish they offered at least one non-beer drink for the non-beer drinkers. Also, they offer no food. That was a bummer. I read in other reviews that they have food trucks or other food vendors. But of course, the time I went, there was zero food. But, I guess on the flip side, you are allowed to bring in outside food. So go ahead and DoorDash it! Parking, UGH! Parking is pretty rough! But I feel that's just the situation in Long Beach. But be ready to drive around looking for parking. Be mindful of all the parking signs. Parking enforcement is pretty strict. Staff, I wish the staff was friendly. I had asked for a sample of a frozen drink to see if it was something I could actually enjoy since I just don't like beer. My husband had asked first, and the lady told him he needed to wait until the line cleared up. It literally will take her a second to give us a sample. Then I asked another lady, and she had a whole a** attitude about it. Terrible customer service here. If you're not a beer fan, steer away!

Yelp
Super fun dog event! We came here with my dogs for the doodlefest hosted by woofpakpetkitchen. My boyfriend bought the $25 beer mug (20oz I believe) soo every beer he purchase will be filled in that mug. He kept getting the doodle Jager? (He doesn't remember the actual name) It was a fun experience. We got to see some cute dog costumes and interact with some furbabies. Games: There's a $2 per game participation in egg race, hammer game and etc. I wasn't too sure. We didn't participate. Cornhole: You just need to trade in your id for the bags. You'll get your id back after returning the bags. Food: Food truck and coffee and bread booth Woofpakpetkitchen booth: They gave each of our dogs some food and biscuit. Also, gave us a flyer and coupon for 1 free pint of food for their newest location in Long Beach. The new location is near Queen Mary.

Yelp
My fiancé, now husband, and I had our welcome party for our wedding at Trademark on 5/3 and it was the absolute best. We planned to have 200 guests so we rented barrel hall and beer hall, which was more than enough space. On the day, we had about 150 people. Ilana truly helped our vision come to life! The floor plan was exactly perfect for our guests. We had an open bar and Trademark provided wristbands for our guests so we could know who was with our party. The bartenders were great and there were never any long lines waiting for drinks. We also hired LB Tacos and had a truck outside for our party. The guests raved about the food and I would highly recommend Mayra and LB Tacos for your event or party. Ilana let us in early to set up, facilitated getting everything in place and even procured Valet for us a week before our event when we decided we needed it. She also reserved a spot right in front of Trademark for our shuttle to drop off guests from the hotels. Ilana and her team are so friendly and I couldn't be more grateful to her for making this event such a hit. We will be lifelong visitors of Trademark Brewery and if we ever have another excuse to throw a big party, we'll do it again at Trademark.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. And solid local beers. I'm Always one to support the local businesses and beer scenes. Fantastic beer. Great place to sit back with chill conversation.

Yelp
We love spending a few hours here hanging out with friends and our dogs. The beer is good and the food truck is always something different. Unconventional, but we hosted our co-Ed baby shower here. They reserved some tables for us, put out some barrels, and allowed us to bring food and soft drinks. Our guests had a great time

Yelp
Really nice brewery with different kinds of drinks. Lb meatless mondays were here and i went and had some yummy food and the interior is just so nice. I loooooove the open space and the vibe it was just soo nice. One of the nicest breweries ive gone too. The windows are big and you can see the street and your car right outside lol. Usually the breweries i go to dont really have windows so one might feel claustrophobic but yeah this is a really nice spot.

Yelp
My wife and I are not big drinkers, but Trademark always hosts some amazing Pop-Ups for food vendors, so we have been here a few times now. We have come both for the iNomoni (Vegan Dim Sum) and the Quarantine Pizza day. The place is HUGE with plenty of room to move around and find your own little corner with feeling like you are on top of other people. Awesome outdoor patio with cornhole games out, picnic tables, benches, and barstools with a other small tables. All in all, a relaxing spot to post up for a while with friends and spend an afternoon, especially in nice, sunny weather. Bathrooms are clean and the staff is really chill. My only gripe is that the parking can SUCK! We got lucky one time with a spot right in front, otherwise you are competing with local residents and patrons of the massive rock climbing gym next door. Maybe Uber instead. Hell, you're going to be drinking anyways, right?
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
The indoor space was nice and spacious. There are plenty of seats with cute hung up string lights across the ceiling. The staff was friendly and allowed us to sample a few beers before making our choices, but most of the beers were underwhelming in my opinion. They have rotating food trucks outside which is a big plus. The area is pretty sketchy and parking is hard to find. I did not feel safe walking around this area or parking on the street. The biggest turn off was when we were leaving the brewery, there was a homeless man up against the building taking a massive diarrhea dump. Thankfully it was dark, so I didn't see much, but the sound of the poop splashing all over the place still haunts me. This is not the business fault, but the area is not the greatest.
google avatar

Rosa R.

Yelp
First time here and I like the ambiance , decor and beers of course. The outdoor area is well done. Plenty of seats inside and outside. I liked it here because you can bring your pup and also your kids. My husband loves the beer here and is a regular now.

Yelp
Really beautiful, inviting, comfortable brewery! While out and about we'd picked up a 4-pack of their beer, Space Beach IPA; based on this delicious beer we decided to make a visit. Great decision! Think, bring my laptop and hang out with some fantastic beer options. Plenty of space for everyone to chill. Food truck was a bit pricey for what we ordered ($14 shrimp burrito). It was on the small side. If we paid $10, it would have been fine as it wasn't too filling, and left room to try another beer :) The beer tenders were super nice. We ended up trying about 4 different IPA 's and all were delicious (Cricket Sweater especially!!). I highly recommend spending a relaxing afternoon stop here.

Yelp
We celebrated my cousin's 40th bday here last Saturday. They a big outdoor area with a food truck, games and a big mural painting - so cool! They also have a lot of indoor space. The beer was really good. My favorite was the Hat trick. Price is decent and all the staff was nice. The only bad side is the parking situation. Apparently they are pretty strict with the street hours parking so make sure to move your car if you are planning to stay longer.

C N.

Yelp
Very nice place, I don't drink but we still had access to beverages, clean restrooms, there were dog biscuits but seemed to be no food, even some peanuts or chips, we were told a food truck was coming but it was delayed, the food was very good, please tell me name of truck. I'm not sure why but it was somewhat humid in the building. I tend to get hot anyhow so maybe it was me. Overall we were pleased with the service.

Yelp
We were attending this brewery when doodlefest was going on. And there was tons of doodles running amok. There was a doodle Halloween costume contest and everything. Place was packed. Staff was very friendly. Ended up ordering the fruit punch slushee and the banana daiquiri ale. Both were absolutely tasty. The fruit punch slushee was slushed to perfection. Wasn't too sweet. The banana daiquiri was the hit of the night. So so tasty. Wasn't overpowering with banana flavoring which I was afraid of because you can really go wrong there. But they made it just right. Highly recommended

Yelp
Absolutely amazing place. It's huge clean. It's fine. Great beers by the way. And they're very creative with all the different events that they have to try to include everybody such as pets and stuff like that. Definitely recommended for a great time.

Yelp
Service could have been better. Beer wasn't all that. Location is great. Was hoping to like at least one out of my flight but nope:/

Yelp
Service was great! The budtender let me sample 2 beers. It's a pretty big space. There are big screen TVs. I love how they are dog friendly and they even had some treats for my dog. The only downside is the location. It's not in a very good part of Long Beach - there are homeless people walking around, some people doing questionable things. I checked out their parking lot but there were only a few cars parked in it, it was dark, and there were 3 men doing some questionable activity (I couldn't see in the dark), so I decided not to park there. I passed by the brewery; street parking was tough. I was about to give up and leave until I got lucky with a spot in at the end of a parking row. However, when I left, some huge truck decided to make his own spot parked next to my car (illegally parked). I'm not sure what the vibes are during the day, but I did not feel comfortable parking a block away and walking. I would love to come back, the space and beer are 5/5 but the location may deter me from coming back.

Yelp
Came here on Sunday to hang out and watch the F1 racing game. The place was very crowded and we ordered tow beers I had the peach Bellini which was sour and fruity and personally not my cup of tea. The outdoor area was nice as you could have your dog and there were fresh breakfast burritos being made and in the afternoon barbecue was being offered by a pop up. Looked crazy good. My biggest issue with this place is honestly the surrounding area. Not the safest spot by any means. Fun bar if you like beer.

Yelp
The four stars are for the beer, which is very good. They offer more than a dozen on tap at any given point, ranging from very light - sours, wits, pilsners - to very dark. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The downsides are 1) parking in DTLB is dodgy, 2) every time we have visited the food trucks have run out of most everything on their menu before 6pm, 3) they allow dogs, and too many of their customers let their dogs urinate on the astroturf, which sort of ruins the aroma of the beer. I'm not too worried about #1 and #2, but #3 is pretty gross.

Yelp
Look at this pour. I even tipped them 10$. This is why people become villains. This warrants a lifetime ban on tips. Other than that nice beer selection and Seating.

Yelp
Found this place by following a food truck that I was interested in that was parked at trademark. This place is so dope! It is new, open concept with plenty of beers on tap (not a beer drinker so not reviewing the beer) and a nice outdoor beer garden. The beer garden has cool murals painted on the walls and seating on wooden lunch benches. Came in a Wednesday evening probably before the crowd. It was fairly quiet and I enjoyed the food truck and a frozen pink lemonade. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Love love love Trademark. I've moved now but I used to come every Monday! The vibes are amazing and the staff is fantastic. Shouting out Jeff, Zach, and Kathy in particular but the entire team has the welcoming demeanor you expect from an establishment that treats them right. I cannot wait to be in Long Beach again to try all their new selections.

Yelp
This was a great experience. They held an event here, which was the reason I found the brewery. I am NOT a BEER DRINKER however, they made this drink called a HILLI SMASH FROZEN DRINK (frozen drink specifically) with their sour beer in it and wow it was like a tart frozen yogurt. It will be my new request wherever I go for drinks, although I fear it was too original. It was light pink in color and a refreshing burst of flavor that I have not seen anywhere else. I also appreciate the banner with the bachelorette updates indicated with slashes on the pictures of the eliminated contestants. The SERVICE was so friendly and patient I really liked all the gentlemen that help me. I only WISH it was in a DIFFERENT CITY as Long beach is not my go to. However I might have to make the trip for a bachelor Monday.

Yelp
This is an amazing brewery! I live right down the street, so I understand why people say parking is a bit hard to find on weekends. But I love this place! I love all the people who work here. Great service and suggestions! There are TONS of variety of beers to choose from. Light beers, dark beers, sour beers, and even seltzer. If you've never been, I highly suggest doing a beer flight so you can find the right beer for you! They always have great food trucks and a great sitting area outside! I love trademark! It's Long Beach, so we do have some homeless sitting around, but they're all nice people! I walk by them all the time, and they're all natural humans, nothing to fear! There's homelessness everywhere in LA, but our homeless are all people staying close to the church and mission. And it's usually only 1 or 2 people that hang out by the church near by.

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great beers in a spacious, welcoming environment. I never got around to writing my review about this place before the pandemic and felt weird about writing it during the pandemic when one couldn't even go in here for a long time. I have now been a couple of times since restrictions were lifted, and I'm happy to report that they are still the same great brewery and tasting room that they've always been! Probably one of my favorite breweries in Long Beach. If you want to meet up with a large group of friends, this is the place--their indoor area is huge and the patio is also quite sizable. I can't remember all of the beers I've tried here, but some of my faves are the Cricket Sweater Juicy Hazy IPA, Ascending Progression Kolsch, and the Get Toasty Coconut Porter. They also have regular weekly events like game and trivia nights in case you're looking for something to do while you drink their delicious beers! Also, as a graphic designer I really appreciate their well-designed logos, signage, and merch!

Yelp
The beer wasn't bad. But the environment and vibe is way off due to the staff. The bartender (hat, half blond, kelly kapowski shirt) we encountered had no social skills and was very rude. She didn't help make recommendations, was very short and seemed mean spirited.
