Love this Trader Joes, I was able to find my favorite seasonal cookies, which I was afraid they'd be sold out! Made my shopping trip today for our event tonight so easy, got some good cuts for the board, and their delicious Canolli dip, which I love here! The staff was friendly, store was inviting and clean, parking lot was really busy but it was no big problem to find a spot. Decent prices.

Always a solid place to shop for groceries. They have a good mix of fresh produce, frozen meals, and specialty items that are hard to find elsewhere. The store is usually clean and the staff are friendly, though it can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, a reliable spot for everyday shopping.

One of my favorite grocery stores, the food.There is healthy, organic natural tastes amazing.The prices are a little up there for certain things.But for the most part, they're reasonable for what you get fresh fruit and veggies.The salmonPinwheels are amazing prices on wine, awesome.And they even do single cans of brew, like high quality stuff like ipas and even seasonal ciders, that you can't get anywhere else.I'd recommend anybody drop in as long as you got a little bit of capital to work with you'll come out with some nice stuff & you might have friends or family that have never tried it.That'll just fall in love with these things final update, as of recently, all of their I p a's and brews and craft stuff like that.Have not really been restocked or taken care of in the way it should be.I know they're doing some remodeling, but it's kind of sad for me.Someone who loves that stuff. Still, one of my favorite stores in the area

Since this store is closely located to me currently, we shop there frequently. Their shelves are always full and set to whatever holiday it may be. Their staffing are always attentive and ready to help/answer any questions you may have. Prices are decent and never wait too long. Enjoy

The store itself is small, but it carries such a unique variety of items, that I get lost in the moment. The employees are friendly and welcoming. My only issue is that I found their produce a bit damaged and aren't the freshest. Parking can also be a challenge as well. I would say everything else about this store is great, but for produce, you might as well go to another store.

Worst Trader Joe’s I’ve ever been to. At 5pm on a Monday the parking lot was full, it was super crowded inside, several shelves were completely empty, and the basil I bought was moldy.

Whole sections in the shop were blocked off by crew members that were talking about their last meals and hookups in almost every other aisle, and they had a complete lack of spatial awareness of customers that were trying to shop for items that the staff were covering while continuing to fake stock the items to talk extensively about their personal lives. When we went to check out our items and leave the store, the cashier and the bagger in the front were also talking about who they were dating when we came up, and they made weird comments about what we would do with baking goods, and if it was a sexual innuendo. We also heard the two staff members mocking and guessing our age for some weird reason as we were leaving. I'm personally unsure of what happened at this location, since I've been going to this store for years, but the amount of unprofessional staff members that spend more time blocking the way in the aisles talking to one another has increased exponentially, and I don't understand the hiring process if there's literally a sea of crew members that block the aisles, and we have TikTok content creators running the cashier stand that think everything's a joke. It's okay if you don't care about your jobs, but dont let it impact the people that shop there. TLDR: Go to the Hollywood Trader Joe's if you want better service, crew members that aren't talking about fornicating with one another in front of the salad mix, and maybe a cashier and bagger combo that's not a mean girl and Jake Paul thinking that baking supplies were a sexual innuendo. (On a side note, the security staff there are wonderful. You guys are always kind and great)

I normally love Trader Joe’s, but recently most of the produce I’ve been purchasing from here goes bad within a couple days. And then when I look at the “best by” date, it hasn’t even passed yet. In another instance, the organic basil, despite being the same price, was drastically reduced in quantity, packed on 9/9 and sold to me on 9/20. It went bad almost immediately. Is it even acceptable to sell basil 11 days after it’s packed? Because of this recent pattern, I check produce dates before buying, and this basil was actually the one packed most recently. The same thing happened with my cherry tomatoes, cilantro and spinach. Trader Joe’s always felt more reliable and fair than other grocers. I hope this isn’t changing. Lately, my experiences have been highly disappointing.

Small, but I like this TJ's. Flowers here are of a better quality than the one on 3rd Street which is surprising or maybe I was just not lucky there! Other than that, staff is your typical TJ peeps: smiling, helpful and professional. Fresh produce could better, for sure. I don't think they gave the best fresh produce, it's wilting quickly so I skip that. Other than that the selection is always good. What annoys mem though, is that TJ discontinues products frequently. That's nothing to do with the staff, but just a thing I've seen over the years. Other than that: I'm a regular.

The customer service here is consistently good and fair. The availability of some items isn't as reliable as at other Trader Joe's, but that's expected due to it being a smaller store. My review is for something I wanted to let go, but really bothered me the more I thought about it. Today, January 19, is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day. It's a day to acknowledge his life and legacy, especially as a civil rights activist in America. It's a day for all Americans to celebrate and appreciate, but it's especially sacred for Black Americans and the Black activists who pushed to make it a federal holiday. It feels like a slap in the face... it feels passive aggressive to walk into a busy diverse Trader Joe's on King's day and hear exclusively Mexican music playing over the store speakers. It's quite tone deaf. Like someone intentionally switched from the regular store radio channel to one that only played mariachi music... on King's day. King's day is not a Mexican holiday. And while some might want to co-opt it to acknowledge their own civil rights during times when ICE is raiding neighborhoods and kidnapping Latinos, it's still a holiday rooted in the Black American community. As a Black American shopping and hearing another culture appropriate and seemingly trample over the King's day holiday with their own culture and agenda felt disrespectful. At the very least, more appropriate for a private bar-b-que and not a public grocery store. As other people of color, please don't make the same mistakes that some whites have made with y'all in belittling, marginalizing, appropriating, and gentrifying Black culture, Black resistance, and Black federal holidays. I don't want to hear mariachi music playing all day if I walk into a Trader Joe's on Juneteenth. No one is above criticism. No one is above accountability, including Brown people themselves.

this was my Trader Joe's I always went to. After my experience tonight I will not be returning here. Amy who i assume is a manager was rude and created the worst experience. This is not the first time she is short, rude and just plain. awful. I will be contacting corporate as well and will not be returning to this one. i have been shopping here not only for my family but also for the work for years. her sour disposition and rude manner is enough to not return despite her other amazing crew.

Is it me or do all Trader Joe's like to make the parking as hectic, tight, and unreasonable for majority of their locations? I mean, it's fun right? Let's do a one way, roundabout style parking, with one way entrances and cause chaos?! No, but really, who doesn't love Trader's. I like to come in at 8am, right when they open. Do my 20 mins shopping. And get out before the chaos happens, which surprisingly does start early. The staff and team here tho and perhaps the nicest. I always find what I want. I wish I would have gotten the team members name who helped me check out (will look for her next time) but she was so sweet and kind! Def made my morning.

Decided to make a trip just for the flower bar selection! Anytime I'm at Trader Joe's I have to stop by the flower and plant selection of course and see what goodies they have available!! My favorite part is seeing what seasonal options they have. Service is consistently great here employees are always welcoming and attentive and the store is usually ran pretty smoothly, everything is always stocked neatly. Most of the time you should be able to go in and find what you're looking for but I would advise it is a busy location and has a tight parking section by the entrance. A quick note is when driving into the parking area they'll be another parking structure to the left to save the trouble!

Trader Joe's is honestly the GOAT. It has everything you actually need--great quality food, unique products you can't find anywhere else, and prices that don't make you question your life choices at checkout. The selection is thoughtfully curated, the store is easy to shop, and everything feels fresh and well-made. Whether it's snacks, meals, or staples, you know you're getting solid quality without overpaying. Affordable, reliable, and always a good experience--Trader Joe's never disappoints.

Uggghhh no. I don't know why corporate TJs doesn't invest in locations with good parking. This isn't the first one I've been too with none. Everyone already hates each other in the parking lot. And it's also LA making matters worse. Finally I get in the store and guess what. It's the same as every other TJs in the whole city selling the same bland, semi racist products (Trader Cho's anyone) for slightly too much money for the amount I get. No it's not organic. It's just handmade by our friend Trader Joe. And hey look there's a Ralph's across the street, why don't we just go there *everyone circling the parking lot.* This place is not that great and it's not like it just came out like Nike's. Y'all should've figured it out this stuff is just regular groceries by now.

Good store , clean and well stocked. Parking is always available. It's right opposite the farmers market and next to sidecar donuts and Mendocino farms

Alright, time to rate my local TJ's and this one gets three stars. It's dirty, compact and often times out of things. Shelves are picked empty and a lot of riff raff but it is LA. Parking is better than the Grove location though!

Any trader joes in the city is going to be busy 24:7, so you'll be waiting for available products every now and then, that's a given. This review is mainly for the people that work at this location. I've never had a bad experience here. Everyone is happy and helpful. Calling out two specific employees: I've run into Angel a few times and he always gets me what I need from the back, and if he can't get it because it's out of stock, he'll help me find alternatives. Also calling out Ben who brought my coffee I forgot at the register out to me at my car so I didn't leave it behind. Such a kind gesture that made my day. Everyone always goes above and beyond. Only critique: the parking situation can be a nightmare here. Don't come to this location if you're in a rush during the weekend. Best time to shop here is midday midweek.

Was here with my service animal and was ignorantly questioned about a bark. A singular one may I add. Service animals provide alert calm barks to their owners to signal a need to take medication for drop in blood sugar, he's also medical and drug related in the context of that as well as sniffing out drugs such a marijuana narcotics etc. Management questioned in bewilderment when I said medical and drug related as if that's not a thing, and asked me multiple times if he was ADA compliant which I answered coherently right away yes. Hey how about you don't discriminate because disabilities are not just physical! Educate yourself first, as he was completely in control and insinuated he was not, and said he was sniffing too much. Haha that was a first! Won't be back to this location, Hollywood much friendlier, cooperative, and informed. :)

This location is frequently out of items. Somehow the location on 3rd and Fairfax never has this problem. I've contacted TJ's via their website and complained about this to no avail. The staff are frequently not friendly. Just today I said "hi" to the clerk while checking out and he didn't say anything. That guy has been there for YEARS! It's not unusual to get rotting vegetables. Thankfully, I'm mostly carnivore so this isn't much of an inconvenience as it would be for the local grass eaters. I think I'm going to start going to the 3rd and Fairfax location more often. It's larger and more impressive. The staff are always friendly and the shelves are well stocked.

First time at this location. I stopped in at around 10 am and it was not crowded. This store is laid out a little differently than the other locations. For an LA location, it does have ample parking. The cashier was really friendly ( most of them usually are). This cashier however made me laugh and offered me a complimentary bottle of water to go with the sandwich I purchased.

I like this Trader Joes in the area. Another place id shop at right next to Ralphs when i worked out here years ago. Nice sized organized store with everything i like when i shop at Trader Joes. Nice and helpful staff are help when you need it. Fresh meats and produce. Place is always clean. I will continue to shop and visit when in the area.

Parking is terrible! It's so hard to get in and out of this TJ's and the lot is always full. For the location you would expect a little bit more especially since in a good location

Just left this store...Unfriendly male worker in the produce section with no holiday spirit. There was a bag of potatoes on the ground that I did not see, and did not even hit them with my cart. He started screaming my at me that I walked all over them and should have picked them up. First of all he doesn't know I have a really bad back problem and second, I didn't drop these potatoes lol. Very embarrassing and just gave a bad taste in my mouth about Trader Joe's.

great service all employees knew what any answer to a question I would ask I don't normally shop here but they have a great selection of healthy choices in all types of organic food

I recently discovered a great frozen dessert at Trader Joe's called "The Dozen Sweet Bites". They are these little cakes that come in three different flavors, and each box contains four individual pieces of each flavor. I think they're the most underrated dessert in the grocery store! They're perfect for a dinner party or even just as a mid-week treat. The raspberry cake is my personal favorite, but the chocolate & coffee "Opera"-style cake and the chocolate & caramel layer cake are also delicious. What I love about these sweet bites is that each slice is just the right size and richness for a bite, and they're much more affordable than most pre-made desserts you find at the grocery bakery.

This Trader Joes doesn't have the same vibes as some of the others. It feels hectic inside and it's organized a bit different. Something about it feels weird.

everyone is really really nice except the person whose name is irish if i could able to pronounce his name correctly just wanna let you know , he's one of the worst person with the worst customer service and also really unhelpful and unprofessional , i've ever seen in whole trader's joe in the whole america. whenever he's in the branch of la brea, even we will not to go inside for grocery shopping because of his bad experience a few times gave to all our family.

Trader Joe's has some real strengths, the affordable prices awesome products, and a fun shopping vibe. Well, I appreciated the unique food and season items. The inconsistency with their stock is frustrating. I fell in love with an ice cream product. These mango bars that are no longer offered. They used to carry a grappa that is also no longer there. The produce can be hit or miss sometimes super fresh, and sometimes it spoils in the same day. Solid place for certain items, but I am getting tired of trying new different things when my favorites are getting taken off the shelves.

A good percentage of the staff need a damn reality check. This staff had some of the venomous/stank attitudes. Even the security staff was unwelcoming. By far the worst one I've been to. Luckily, the only person who wasn't a stuck up a$$ was the cashier. The only person saving this location from a 1 star.

it's the night of May 21 2025, 10pm. This review isn't about this Trader Joe's location itself but about one employee there named Rich with the ultra inflated Ego. And I am not writing this because "i didn't get my way" so to speak. I am writing this, again, because of the egregious inflated ego of this guy, RICH. I live close to this trader joes and had a sweet tooth and rushed there before closing to literally grab just some milk and cookies/cakes. I specifically wanted this box of tea cakes that only TJ's has - and - they are located right by the door, so is the milk. I know this because I shop at this location a lot! So I ran a few red lights, rushing to get there on time, but IN my rush, listening to music and what not, i actually passed 3rd st, lol. by a mile! So i turned around and rushed some more to get there. I pull up AT, 9pm, not 9:01, not 9:05, but AT 9pm and the doors were still open. I RUSHED in, yes, past the security lady, past everyone to get inside the door WHILE IT WAS STILL OPEN. Somebody said something to me, but I ignored it! because I knew what i needed was right by the door and i would grab it and be in line and gone before some of the other shoppers with carts who were still in there walking the aisles. I was rushing BECAUSE I had empathy for the employees and wanted to get IN AND OUT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, so i wasn't listening to anything. IF only they had seen me blow those three red lights to get there! lol. That wasn't good enough though. So i go in and this man, RICH, started lecturing me about whatever he was saying. how they are closing and what not. So I stopped, spending MORE time, to tell him how I understood all of that and i told him all of what i said above, i just wanted one thing and its right here by the door and i will be gone in two seconds etc, and he said yes but STILL! and I said something like But Still, what? Are you going to sit here and lecture me like i'm a child dude? because I will not listen to you lecture me. BESIDES, me sitting here listening to you bitch at me about something thats already done is taking more time than it is for me to get my items and get out of here. And he says no , Im not going to lecture you - then proceeds to continue to LECTURE ME lol. He totally starts ranting to me and berating my character. Causing a scene, Talking talking talking. telling me that I was disrespectful because I didnt listen to the security guard ( i told him youre right, i didnt listen to her I will say something to her on the way out because I didnt mean to be mean), he told me that i was disrespectful because i should have been respectful and arrived before 9pm ( i told him i ran red lights to get here, i was trying to get here on time geez, i just made a wrong turn) he told me again i was mean to the security guard by not listening to her and she is there to protect their SAFETY ( i said wow, yeah, because i look so threatening, a woman with a wallet and keys in her hand in a rush. that was insulting that he said that, all of his talking was) So this guy never shut up, causing a scene as i started looking for my tea cakes regardless of his lecturing. He told me i cant make my own rules, i told him i make my own rules everyday. he told me okay well you are banned from shopping here, i just laughed. all the time he is talking i am searching the shelves for the tea cakes I wanted and they didnt have them anyway. I thought about grabbing the milk anyway while i was there, but his abusive lecturing to me made me think otherwise. I did not want to spend any money that night with them after dealing with this man and his ridiculous, overreactive, abuse. like who is he? the trader joes hall monitor/punisher? anyway. I get it. i rushed in AT 9pm, but i would have been in and out. I would have had to stand in LINE, thats how many shoppers were still there. so imo, RICH, needs to definitely get a life, and stop taking innocent, minor, things so seriously. I wasnt there to disrespect or abuse any one OR to waste time. I was there to SHOP. I was there to simply grab some milk and tea cakes at the last minute, and thats it thats all. He made a big huge deal out of it all and berated my entire personality and character over nothing. Over the fact that i wasnt bowing down to him and what he was saying. I told him F him at the end of it all, AFTER trying to reason with him, and I said that because he EARNED that. I said that because he doesn't know me and doesn't know if i am a disrespectful person or not. And how dare he call me that after all of the fair responses I gave him and his blah blah blah inquires and talking. So i told him F him and I left. And on my way out, Like i said i would, I spoke directly to the security lady while i was leaving, her name is Nani, she was cool as a fan. We shook hands and she understood me and what I was saying. RICH and his EGO on the other hand, did not. I hope someone (Rich and his Ego) i hope they see this. Thanks for your time.

Fully stocked TJ's with an AWESOME alcohol section. Tons of beer wine and liquor to choose from - at amazing prices. The produce is a little pricey - but the quality is always great. It's also never too crowded, so you can always find a parking spot and get through the check out pretty fast!

This is by far the worst Trader Joe's on the planet. Don't even waste your time shopping at this location. Parking is an absolute nightmare and even if you are lucky enough to find parking after an exhaustive battle with crazy drivers there is NOTHING in the store EVER. It's always like Armageddon in there. In 2024 somehow this is the only store that can't seem to grasp the concept of supply and demand. It's really shocking just how empty the shelves always are and how truly awful the entire shopping process is at this location.

Great TJ's. The here staff is top notch and the store is always clean and COVID compliant. My newest food discovery is riced cauliflower. It makes fantastic faux fried rice, even better and more nutritious than actual fried rice. There are numerous RCFFR recipes on YouTube, just be sure you have a Ron Jeremy-sized jug of olive oil and some minced garlic. But two notes of riced cauliflower caution: 1. Riced cauliflower fades way before the expiration date, like James Dean (sorry, Jimbo). And rotting riced cauliflower smells particularly foul. Imagine Joy Behar's linen hamper in July. 2. No matter how careful you are, RC is the glitter of food: it gets ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE! Once you open the bag it senses freedom and gravitates to all the inaccessible regions of your stove and floors. Sure, riced cauliflower is great, but plan on an hour of postprandial vacuuming and scrubbing, and even then, you still won't apprehend all the escapees.

I love shopping at Trader Joe's and the main reason is people works there are sooo freaking friendly which is lacking in most of the groceries / supermarkets in LA these days! Ok now their products...like any other establishments, a lot of their items are really good and some not so much, always very crowded & pricing competitively a little bit higher than your local groceries but the friendly staff members and their quality products makes it worth it!

I want to give Trader Joe's some love and recognition of the way they treat their customers in this uncertain situation. Filling my heart with respect ,compassion and community sense. Probably the worst Trader Joe's I've been to.. staff isn't friendly. They seemed rush and didn't smile like other TJs workers. They just didn't look happy. Store is smaller too and pretty crowded with the aisles very narrow. Parking is also a pain here.

I was pick pocketed at this location just now and my iPhone was stolen and when I tried to talk to security nothing was done. There were multiple employees standing around and they all just stared at me and no one offered any assistance other than "you could try find your Iphone??" No one offered to check the cameras or anything. Thanks.

Love this place for quick meals, healthy choices, and spirit. Best place for blue cheese, flowers, mixed nuts, snacks, etc. Staff are great and always happy to help. Prices are better then most healthy food's stores

This store needs a new manager or buyer!!! Always sold out of EVERYTHING. Horrible inventory. Better off going to farmers market.

Trader Joe's has a phony mask requirement. They allow patrons to NOT wear masks. Many businesses dutifully boot patrons who violate their mask requirements -- because they care about the health of their patrons and their communities. When I brought up the fact that a patron couple at TJ's was brazenly defying the mask "requirement," the TJ's manager confessed, "We don't police that requirement..." "Police" it? Then 1) it's not a requirement, actually, and 2) I wasn't asking that it be "policed," merely that they approach the reckless and selfish customer and remind them of the mask requirement. TJ's willingly exposes its customers to easily avoidable health threats simply to make more money. This is shameful.

I echo Keith H.'s experience. Instead of a mask, this patron wore the most smug, 'I dare you to say something about it' look on his face. I didn't ask the employees because they don't get paid enough to deal with this ish but I'll drive to another TJ's from now on. My elementary age kids wear masks for six hours a day and you can't be bothered to be inconvenienced for 20 minutes. It's shameful and gross. The three stars are for the team member at check out - she was great.

Def prefer this location due to items almost always being in stock. Sometimes for specialty items I call ahead and buy them to make sure I didn't go out of my way to not get what I needed. Everything is crest but the parking is super tough. The lot is always so busy!

This is a great Trader Joe's. The employees are so helpful. The helpful employee today was Michael, at the register. While he was ringing me up, he asked if need help to the car( I had 3 cases of water), I told him no. Then I changed my mine( those cases of water are heavy lol) and he helped me to my car. I asked his opinion on hummus I also bought and he said it was good and also gave me another suggestion to buy. I appreciate the excellent customer service I receive at Trader Joe's. Keep up the good work and thanks again Michael.

To the very attractive nice man that reminded me not to leave my purse unattended in my cart tonight, thank you. I was very slow to respond after a long day and I don't think I thanked you enough. This location is my go-to and the staff are always very kind and helpful.

Easy in, easy out. Our small group ran into grab some lite food and snacks for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. All is the staff was super friendly and helpful. We found a nice variety of yummy food selections. The store was clean and organized.

One of the smaller TJs and they seem to have chronic pandemic line. We got lucky the other day and got in before a huge line formed. The inside of the store is cramped so social distancing is especially difficult. The staff is great, though, and the store is well stocked. There's usually parking available in their lot, but it's sometimes slow because the lot is also small and cramped. My tip is to park in the Ralph's across the street and walk over! Also if the line seems too long, there's another TJs right down the street (near the grove).

First of all. I LOVE Trader Joes. It is my favorite place to get groceries. The problem is that THIS Trader Joes is not nearly as good as most of the others. Check out the Culver City or West LA store, or any other and you'll quickly know our 'hood has the lamest TJ's of all. The store is small, and the aisles are narrow. They don't carry as much stock as other TJ's. The parking lot is the WORST of all. I wish they'd move to a better location. A word to the wise, get there when they open at 9:00am and you won't have much trouble finding parking. By the way, the people that work there are very cool, so this review is no "bad" on them! Come on Trader Joe, move to a bigger place that has better parking already!! You can do it Joe, I know you can...we'll follow you there!!

2nd review: so my mom tried yogurt covered pretzel for the first time a few days ago and she wanted a whole bag for herself. I haven't bought them in a while but I went to Ralphs, Walmart, Target and no luck. Who knew finding these tasty treats could be so difficult! I went to Whole Foods and it was about 7 bucks a pound! Why so expensive?! Trader joes to the rescue... came here and grabbed a bag for under 3.50.

What can I say about this trader joes that hasn't already been said? Awesome sample snack area in the back of this store. Tiny parking lot - even the satellite parking across the alley, be prepared for some circling. And bring your parking A-game on; you may need to back into a space lest it be jacked by an SUV lumbering toward your spot. Despite the small store footprint, they still sell pretty much anything you will need to make a particular recipe - say, roasted pork loin that needs fresh herbs, shallots, and dry vermouth. And while you're at it, go head and pick up a bottle of olive tapenade... And chicken tikka masala... And mochi ice cream... Etc...

My boyfriend and I do our grocery shopping at Trader Joe's every weekend (usually the one, by USC. That one is usually super crowded with students ). This TJ's is clean, less crowded, which is nice! - I love the big selection of Gluten Free food: bread, mochi, cupcakes and etc. - Delicious to go salads (I recommend Cesar salad, you just cannot go wrong ) - Variety or vegetarian food : veggie sausages, ham, tofu, cutlets! If you've never been to Trader Joe's, I highly recommend
