Great grocery store to buy quality products for less cost than most other places. That said you might not find the variety that exists in the Whole Foods but considering the smaller size of Trader Joe’s they do an excellent job of variety in lower price and costumer service. I wish more stores in NJ would send their workers to Trader Joe’s to learn what’s costumer service outside of NJ. Also note you might get hooked up on some product and they discontinue it later for example Almond Flour Cookies they had was wonderful that they stopped making them. Another note I have seen they actually lowered some of their food cost to prior prices after the food inflation of last year which is a surprise to me when I compare to other groceries. I can write an article about them but I stop now. Cheers to all their employees who work hard.

This was my first time at this location. I went in just for a sandwich but I left with so much more. The staff are super friendly. One lady saw that I had more items in my arms than I had anticipated buying- she's smart, she just knew (lol), but she asked me if I wanted a basket. She was so helpful. I saw teams working together keeping the place stocked even as we all shopped, and the team members let us all know they were there for us if they needed us. The place was clean and organized. I wanted to buy more items but I was so far from home as I explained to Keri whom was my cashier, who was so pleasant. I enjoyed our conversation, just small talk about my experience there and a few of the items I selected. She was a breath of fresh air, (along with everyone else) but Keri and spoke more. Upon learning I was new to the area and it being my first time in the store she welcomed me and blessed me with a bag for first time shoppers. Thank you Keri and all staff, I'm sorry I didn't get all your names, but you all are doing fantastic!!!

i dont do a lot of grocery shopping here but sometimes i sneak out of work to come buy snacks and treats for the office. jingle jangle, chocolate covered nonsenses, dunkers, fake swedish fishes, gummies, you name it they got it.. has medium prices... convenient location... idk its fine i guess. i think its very crowded and being inside trader joes always makes me feel strange so i give it a 3 stars.

Google
Nicest staff I’ve ever encountered at a Trader Joe’s and that says a lot because staff of every Trader Joe’s is incredibly nice. Only downside here is the parking garage and overall parking situation. If you don’t have to drive…don’t. Walking is probably a much better experience. But they definitely stock up towards end of week on Thursday or Friday. And avoid holidays here at all costs!

Very clean and great atmosphere. Fresh products. Staff is very helpful and respectful. Love to do my grocery shopping over there. Keep it up.

Google
I love it here. I live midtown Hoboken and ACME is practically next door but I still come here because of three main reasons. Price, quality and speed. I can do whole my shopping in 15 minutes. The food is high quality and not expensive either. So even though I have to walk here 10 minutes to shop, I prefer this place and if I take the car out then hands down this my go to place. I stopped going Costco and will cancel my membership because when all things considered, it is not worth keeping it. I have a confession though, I use Walgreens’ parking lot. Trader Joe’s please make a deal with Walgreens so that I don’t feel bad using their lot.

Quintessential place of Hoboken.. excellent quality and selection of produce , cheese and dairy.. I love how this store is maintained and staff are super friendly.. the BEST part is the flowers selection.. I love this place and no matter where will be my fav Trader Joe’s

Google
How can you not love TJs. Overall the prices are good. Everything now and again I'll take a chance and try something new, some times it's a winner sometimes not. I know some people love the frozen Cacio e Pepe but it was way too peppery for me. But the price on Organic milk is awesome. Thanks TJs.

Yelp
I find this Trader Joe's to be one of the best grocery options in Hoboken. The parking garage is such a convenient feature, especially when I'm visiting--free garage parking in this city is a game changer! I also love the thoughtful touch of the mural in the elevator lobby; it's such a small detail, but it adds so much character and makes the experience feel more welcoming. What really surprised me is how roomy the store is, considering its location in a busy city. It's well-organized and spacious, making it easy to navigate even during busier times. The waitstaff are efficient and friendly, always there when you need help. The store has everything I've come to love about Trader Joe's, from their fresh produce to their frozen food staples. I'm always impressed by their selection and quality. This location mirrors what I appreciate about the brand while offering the convenience of its Hoboken charm. Definitely a go-to spot for groceries when I'm in town!

Yelp
I was a Trader Joe's fan long before they opened on the East Coast. I would return from visits to California with Trader Joe's products in my luggage and my siblings knew to bring me one or two TJ items when they visited. I have adapted to the seasonal nature of certain products and plan my shopping accordingly. However, when I shop at the Hoboken location, at least one product I'm looking for is out of stock. Since I only shop once a week, the information that it will be in later in the day or week is not helpful to me. However, a manager shared that if I called a day ahead of my shopping trip for a popular product, they would put it aside xfor me. I've shopped at some of their NYC/Brooklyn locations and haven't had this problem--so, it's not the number of customers; it seems to be an inventory management issue. On the plus side, I find it easy to find a crew member and they are most often pleasant and helpful. Although the length of the checkout line looks intimidating, they generally have lots of clerks and manage the checkout well so that it moves pretty quickly.

Yelp
Free garage parking in HOBOKEN?! Almost too good to be true. If you have a car and live in the area, that is reason enough to make it here. The store is always clean, organized, and the staff is very helpful. On my last trip they got me a cart when they saw I was struggling with a wayyyy too full basket. Produce is usually fresh, flowers are cheap so I will usually indulge in a small bouquet for myself. But what I really love about Trader Joe's is their frozen foods. Maybe because I first discovered them as a semi broke newly grad living on her own with no cooking skills, but even all these years and improved cooking later, I literally never get frozen dumpling/pizza/wontons unless I go to a Trader Joe's. (Please take this as a hint to get their veggie dumplings). I also love their anything but the bagel seasoning. I think TJs are famous for their wrap around lines but that is never ever an issue here. Worth the grocery run.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's!!! This location has parking and is very organized. I especially love shopping at Trader joes because the staff are so helpful! When I am trying to find something they are always available and don't point but walk you to where the item is located. This Trader Joe's has beautiful floral arrangements, Christmas decor, and seasonal goodies!! The jingle jangle is the absolute best!! Prices are very reasonable and they have something for everyone!

Yelp
(Shopped 06/16/2024 SU @ 12:00pm): Yo Joe, I'll trade you my money for any of the wonderful items you sell! I finally made it to Hoboken's Trader Joe's, the closest one to my friend's place, and I couldn't have been more excited. Ever since I was a kid who grew up surrounded by locations in La Canada Flintridge, Glendale, and Montrose, I've been a fan of their brand for their low prices, efficient product selection, and cheerful customer service. It was still a trek from Jersey City to Hoboken without a car, so was this Joe worth the trade-off!? PURCHASE Trader Joe's Brown Sugar Boba Mochi 6.35oz Package ($2.99): I'd never seen this item at my local stores, so I was immediately stoked to try this combination of two things I loved. The individually-wrapped pieces were smaller than expected, the spongy mochiness was nice, but it really lacked the boba element. I thought a boba or two would be wrapped in mochi. I'm glad we tried it, but I was disappointed. Trader Joe's Milk Chocolate Covered Mini Pretzels 12oz Package ($3.49): The weather was hot and humid, which caused the chocolate to start melting on our fingers. The fresh salty pretzel paired well with the sweet chocolate and also held us over until we met a friend for brunch at a nearby restaurant. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=EJHelSB8D5rHYiHJ2mtfbw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE Pretty hands off which was fine with us as we slowly roamed down each aisle and area just to see what they had. When it was time to finally check out, the young female cashier greeted and thanked us as I bagged our groceries - thank you! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) My friend and I hopped on the 2nd St. Light Rail Station, got off the next stop at 9th St./Congress St. Station, and proceeded to walk another 15 minutes or so until we arrived. There may've been a quicker, more direct route using other public transportation, but we liked taking the Light Rail. I believed there was an attached private or public lot to the building; however, there seemed to be decent street parking along the main drag of Willow Ave. and surrounding roads. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A medium-sized store with the familiar layout of many aisles with stocked shelves, a decent produce section, refrigerated sections along a back wall, and the cashiers at the front. Promo signage and shelf-talkers were all appropriately posted throughout. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large front windows and doors while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. I didn't notice any TVs nor any music being played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I found Trader Joe's Hoboken location to be everything I expected and would definitely visit them again the next time I was in town. The prices were competitive, the selection was plentiful and varied, and the service was exceptional. This location mirrored all others I've visited and offered that special neighborhood touch customers are accustomed to. I found very total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $7.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Yelp
Trader Joe's hoboken is always squeaky clean and the staff here are amazing- positive vibes only! It's usually buzzy on weekend mornings and weekday evenings. If you're lucky, you'd be able to catch a sample or two of their yummy breads/jams/chips/cheese somedays.

Deanna P.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's! I can't believe there was ever a time people enjoyed grocery shopping before this store. The Hoboken location is very good. The only thing I don't love is the underground parking. They have so many iconic products and they are always creating something new. I will continue to shop here forever and I highly recommend.

Yelp
This is a very dangerous place for a vegetarian since this is a paradise place to get affordable, organic and healthy options. This was my first time here and I ended buying so much I needed a cab! The line went quick and the cashier was friendly and so helpful. Give her a raise! I love the selection of plants and flowers right at the front.

Irene H.

Yelp
The Edgewater one is my main TJ but I come here when I'm in the area. Pros: - Garage parking if it's raining. - Pretty big, everything is well organized and stocked. Logical layout. - Friendly cashiers, who still bag unlikes WFM. - Free parking - no longer need validation. Cons: - Slanted parking with pillars... it makes me nervous when my car alerts go crazy. I won't go when it's packed/peak time. Also hate driving out of here - watch out for pedestrians.

Jenn B.

Yelp
We live in Bayonne- so the closest TJ is either this one here in Hoboken or the one on Staten Island. Let me tell you, this one is a thousand percent better! They're always well stocked. Not sure if we just have really good timing or if their deliveries are more frequent- but we typically rarely have a hard time finding what we're looking for. The workers are exceptionally nice. And the crowd here isn't as crazy as the one on SI. Parking is easy. And there's a cool liquor store right outside the doors of TJs. There are always workers restocking, fixing and just overall around to help-without getting in the way. This is definitely our preferred location.

Ebonee R.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's!! This one get busy but it's mostly always in stock which is great but gets crowded. The quick meal options are great in the freezer section and they have a wide selection of flowers!! Also of course the workers are great!

Fox E.

Yelp
Not to be confused with Traitor Joe's, who said they were my friends, and turned out not to be. It's great to see that Hoboken has become such a trendy town to live in, which is solidified now that has a Trader Joe's, but unfortunately the town is becoming priced out from its original residents. And while it still has the best sandwiches in the country in terms of Italian deli sandwiches, it's also a little bit of a shame to know that the Trader Joe's crowd are the only ones who can enjoy those life-changing sandwiches now. Still a convenient place to have in Hoboken, and their dirt cheap water is excellent, and significantly better than most other bottled water.

Hank C.

Yelp
Parking lot downstairs (P1), 1 hour free with validation at the register. They also had wipes at the door. Half of their inventory was gone/empty today - it is a virus scare causing people to buy more than normal, or is it bad inventory control? They do have a couple of sampling stations. A few plants, produce, a lot of pre-packaged/frozen Trader Joe branded food stuffs. A staffer helped us find some brie in the back, and the chocolate-covered marshmallows were completely out, but we found a nice substitute in the chocolate pastry rolls. The register areas need some improvement in getting people lined up and getting to the next register, but I suppose they don't want to copy Whole Foods. Overall good experience, but they need to figure out inventory.

Yelp
I was so stoked back when this Trader Joe's opened up in Hoboken. Back in the day, my only access to Trader Joe's were the ones in the city and those were a mess. Plus I couldn't buy much because that meant I would have to lug it onto the Path. This location is pretty decent. It's clean. There's free validated parking. Wine Dad's is right next door if you need to make an alcohol run but don't want to make multiple stops. I avoid going there on weekends. I remember going pre-Covid and having to line up just to look at the produce. Mondays can be pretty packed too. When Covid first started, they did a great job with handling the situation. They even reverted bag to free paper bags to help stop the spread. My only gripe overall is that they usually don't have half the new items I want, or maybe I'm just going at the wrong times - so I don't end up being able to try them. Still, no new items would be better than no Trader Joe's at all. Some people aren't as fortunate as to have one within walking distance in their neighborhood!

Michelle T.

Yelp
Since it's the closest TJ's to Jersey City, this is our go-to. I love that there's parking - and we've never had a problem finding parking. During the pandemic, we went just as they opened in the morning on the weekends to reduce crowding. Now, we typically go after work around 5pm on random weekdays. There's never too much people and we never feel unsafe. It is a smaller TJ's compared to some of the ones in the city, so their frozen desserts section and plant sections aren't as good. Sometimes they just don't have the items that I want, but if you're just here for a normal grocery run, you're going to be completely fine. I'm just a TJ's fan and always come whenever I see new items out on Insta, but sometimes they don't always have it.

Wesleyan T.

Yelp
I really love the service here - everyone seems to be genuinely friendly and willing to help out Seriously - love it here snd today was my first visit to this location Definitely will not be my last !

Katie A.

Yelp
Very clean, well-organized store, especially for its size! I used to prefer the Edgewater location to this one (mostly because the parking is better). However, the lines have been much shorter than the Edgewater location during the pandemic, without being too crowded inside either. I'm always amazed at how quickly their checkout line moves too. I often notice that the produce section gets a little picked over. That's the only downside to this location. Aside from that, though, it's usually well-stocked! The employees who work here are always very friendly and happy to help you find anything you're looking for. Definitely checkout this location!

Lisa H.

Yelp
I needed some breakfast items and popped into the Hoboken Trader Joe's. Since each Trader Joe's has a different layout, it took me a couple of seconds to get oriented. Some produce was slightly past its prime, but everything else was good. It was more crowded than I expected near closing time on a weekend; other reviews inform me that there aren't many TJ's in this part of NJ. But the checkout lines moved really quickly. A friendly employee helped me locate Everything But the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend, and the cashier was nice and chatted with me about the new bag rules. And if you have a car, parking is available!

Dalia Y.

Yelp
This Trader Joe's rarely has everything stocked which sucks but man the cashier I had today stressed me out watching her bag my groceries. She was already moving as slow as humanly possible but I brought my own shopping bags and she stacked my groceries in the craziest way so I needed to buy two more bags and she still somehow couldn't manage to make anything fit so I walked out holding two croissant bags and my bread still fell out one of the bags she packed. It was such an mess and took so long with my Brie shoved at the bottom so it got squashed. I didn't even know you could be this bad at something as simple as bagging groceries.

Dewan A.

Yelp
So glad this store is in Hoboken. Probably the best grocery store in Hoboken, bar none. I always get the wafer cookies, which is my favorite American sweet. I also like their Indian frozen items like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and samosas.

Fancypants X.

Yelp
Trader Joe's, any Trader Joe's, is my happy place. The quirky packaging, how they move things around constantly to facilitate you bumping into something new, the low price point, the coffee samples (I guess it ceases to be a "sample" after your third cup), how seriously they take the holidays, & most importantly, the familiar, yummy taste of their packaged foods. However, this Hoboken location was out of stock of quite a few items, which limits my happiness if I can't find what I'm looking for! It was only until the end of my shopping trip that I snapped a few pics of the potato chip aisle for proof but empty spots ran rampant in all parts of the store. I picked up what I could -- White Truffle Chips, Lavender Camomile Hand Soap, yogurts, nuts, etc) -- with the plan to stop by the Trader Joe's in Chelsea that I sometimes go to. This aisles of this location seemed busier & more cramped compared to other locations -- is this store smaller? As this was only my first visit, I'll give them another chance in hopes that all I'm looking for (in life & in groceries) are available when I visit again. Validated underground parking available.

Steve S.

Yelp
Trader Joe's is one of my favorite stores, to go food shopping. I really like this Hoboken location, since it is close to where I live. There is a parking garage underneath the store and offers free parking, which is a huge advantage. Plus, since this location is still fairly new, everything is nice and clean. The aisles are pretty wide, so even when crowded, I feel like there is plenty of space to get around. Some of my favorite products to buy here are the orange chicken, cauliflower gnocchi, macarons, yogurt guacamole, and there chips. You can't really go wrong with anything from Trader Joe's though. Everything is just delicious.

Tyler R.

Yelp
Who wants some SAMPLES? There's always at least one. Sometimes there's two. One time there was three. That, plus several mini cups of coffee...wait, what did I even come in here for? TJs newest (as far as I know) Hudson County location has prime placement for Hoboken, Weehawken, and (most) Jersey City residents alike. Parking exists (in the Harlow Garage), a rarity in Hoboken for groceries outside of Shop Rite. It's a bit of a bear to navigate when it's busy - I estimate that no less than 32% of the people that drive here have never parked in a diagonal space before. But, other than that it's free for an hour and definitely convenient. Just don't forget to validate as you cash out. The layout is surprisingly spacious, and they carry all of the essentials (minus the alcohol) so you can be in and out in no time. That is...if it's not crazy busy. Sunday is the day to avoid at all costs - on more than one occasion we both walked in, and I stood in line the whole time while groceries magically materialized in the cart. A time saver, but easily avoided by going on another day, or an off hour. Despite the lines, I would wholly recommend coming here for fresh food, well-stocked shelves (even when it's mobbed), and an over excellent grocery experience that can be completed in 20 minutes or less. Come for the samples, stay for the food, check out like a pro. Validate your parking, and cross your fingers that one of the two Harlow elevators isn't, once again, very much out of service.

Giseli C.

Yelp
Went there for the first time today and I honestly don't understand what's all the fuss about this place . There's a bunch of nothing and they advertised stuff they didn't even have in stock . Won't be wasting my time there anymore , the garden of eden has a much better variety . The only good thing about this place was service , the people who work there were very friendly and helpful , even if they were just looking for an item they didn't have "smh" but at least that . However I just don't understand what's so great about the place .

Brian M.

Yelp
Worth a 40 minute walk from Jersey City. But I have a car, so worth the 8 minute drive...especially since parking can be validated for an hour. Woot, woot. Prices are alright, it's Trader Joe's, so maple syrup for $7 is a deal. Their offerings for pumpkin season are slamming. I recommend the rolls. Pumpkin rolls. Getting rung up is a breeze and the lines die down pretty quickly. Just plan ahead and you could be the only one here.* *Not likely.

Diane M.

Yelp
Convenient parking and super nice staff. Really crowded (as noted in other reviews) but staff were working hard to keep things stocked. Great selection of cheeses, vegetarian items, and produce. Wish there was one in Jersey City!

Sara B.

Yelp
I finally had the chance to check out the new Trader Joe's in Hoboken. SO happy that there is a parking lot.... otherwise I'd probably never venture over. Street parking in Hoboken is a total nightmare. Luckily this TJ's sits in the base of a high rise apartment building that has an attached parking deck. Trader Joe's shoppers can use the first floor and they will validate free parking for up to 1 hour. After that it's two dollars an hour. This location is very large (much larger than the nearby Edgewater location) and because it's new it is of course very clean and well-organized. Like any other Trader Joe's you can find friendly employees, great prices and really unique and delicious food items. I'm not the greatest cook and a little bit lazy in the kitchen, so naturally lots of TJ's famous frozen eats make their way into my basket. During the fall their pumpkin selection is off the charts. You can find pretty much any sort of pumpkin goodie imaginable (cereal, granola bars, coffee, bagels, cream cheese, cinnamon rolls, waffles, ice cream) the list goes on and on. My only complaint was that they were out of a few items that you'd normally be able to find at a grocery (oranges and pepperoni specifically). And of course, no booze here. When in New Jersey... :::sighs::: Otherwise, I was able to find everything that I wanted! It's nice to know that I have a Trader Joe's (with parking) that's less than a ten minute drive from me. Most JC residents would normally visit the Edgewater location, but this cuts the trip time in half. I'll be back.

J T.

Yelp
Disgusting. Went to the bathroom and it is beyond disgusting. The smell was horrendous, I get it, it's a bathroom, but it smelled dingy, dirty and unclean. A large garbage was overflowing with trash, the entire bathroom needs to be scrubbed down. Forget about shopping here.

Adrian F.

Yelp
I was super excited about coming here as another option from whole food. Unlike the Brooklyn location there is parking in the garage. Upon checkout the parking ticket is validated by the cashier and parking is free. It is clean and tidy. I love that. The staff here is friendly and helpful. I wish there were more food options. Also the green section is limited especially with herbs and spices. I would return but I didn't particularly love options here.

Prianka S.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's as a whole. Love their products and their amazing customer service. However, this Trader Joe's is like a dog eat dog situation. The garage for parking has limited parking spots especially when they are under construction. Also, this is the only Trader Joe's in the Hoboken-Jersey City area so during prime times it is ridiculously crowded. Sometimes you may have to end up paying for parking because you are waiting in line for so long. Also, if you come to Trader Joe's after a prime time, there is literally no produce in stock. These are just warning and realities of shopping at this particular location. However, regardless of how difficult it can be, I still love the company and the products it has to offer.

L M.

Yelp
Was so excited to finally have a TJ's closer to home. I'm disappointed that there is no liquor/wine but the store selection is pretty good. My less than stellar review has to do with Trader Joe's lack of response to reports about customers bringing their pets inside the store. In less than 1 year, I've witnessed several people bring their pets (these are NOT service animals) inside. One was even placed inside a cart. The first time I reached out to Trader Joe's customer service they did not respond. The second time, someone called me and assured me that this is not their policy and that they know it's a health code violation. That was in Sept 2018. Well, in Jun 2019 after deliberately decreasing my visits to this store, I witnessed yet another entitled customer walking his dog inside the store. Several employees EVERYWHERE and not one said anything to him. Also, no signs on the doors explaining to customers that pets aren't allowed inside.

Samantha Y.

Yelp
George, R charged my mother for some kcups that came out of thin air. What I wanted to know was if no k cup was brought to the counter, did he key it in? For what purpose? My mother didn't speak any English and this is very upsetting to know if this was intentional that someone would over charge an old lady. Shame on you George!!!

Yelp
Trader Joe's has finally landed on the Gold Coast, and deserves my 100th review! This new location is rather large and is located at the corner of Willow and 14th Street, so if you live elsewhere (like me in Jersey City), it's an easy drive into and out of Hoboken via 14th Street and Paterson Plank Road, but is very far away from the PATH, and a 15 minute walk from the 9th Street Light Rail station. If you're driving, they have a validated parking lot underneath - that is validated for the first hour! After the first hour, it is $2/hour. As with all Trader Joe's the selection is the same. However, with it being a larger location, they have even more variety than some of the New York City locations. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'm glad that not only there is another grocery shopping option in the area, but it also happens to be my beloved Trader Joe's.

Koko L.

Yelp
Another place I wish they would open in Hawai'i. Whenever we travel I raid this store and then box up and mail home a bunch of things. There are so many great products here between produce, groceries, snacks, coffee, plants, spices... The list goes on and on. Great Quality products. Never disappoints. Customer service is OK not the greatest. But I'm just in there in my own world anyway loading up the carts haha.

L M.

Yelp
So I am taking this time so say THANK YOU to the staff for being so accommodating right now. There is a line out the door but it goes by really quickly (15 min). They're capping it off at 50 people right now which makes sense. I got everything I needed and the staff was so friendly and had smiles on their faces. Thank you for saving me during a global pandemic!!!

Paul W.

Yelp
There are few times in your life where you just know a store is poorly run. Like when you arrive back home with milk and despite a expiration date of June 12 it is Chunky and spoiled. Now you give the store and Trader Joe's to make amends they don't even bother to reply to your complaint Secondly the produce is disgusting and rotten. Too bad had high hopes

Christine A.

Yelp
So TJ's has been opened in Hoboken for less than a month at this point, but I've been probably about a dozen times so far. It's just too convenient to go to TJs than to go anywhere else and the daily raffle for using their reusable TJ bag is just an added benefit. I love the layout of this particular store than the other TJs in the area (think Edgewater, Clifton, Flatiron) and I never feel too cramped in the aisles as I do in the other locations. I personally haven't ever been in a long line at the Hoboken location yet, so I hope they keep the staffing levels high forever. It's amazing not having to be scared away by a 20+ person line as in Union Square or the flatiron locations. I like how there is just one line for all of the cashiers, so it truly is a first come first served flow. I haven't parked in the garage yet, but it's a nice thing to have and I'm sure I will be utilizing the validated parking in the future. Only downfalls so far: I don't like how there has only been the Joe's coffee and mostly I've seen only key lime pie being offered as the samples of the day. Can they change it up a little more please? Obviously I'm not going to TJs just for the freebies though, so this isn't factored into my rating.

Yelp
It's only the first day, so there may definitely be ups and downs in the future. As for today, the shop is huge, clean, bright. There's lots of very happy and helpful employees all over the store. It felt a little chaotic, but most of that vibe came from the people in here that have never been in a Trader Joe's before. There's about 30 checkout stations! Which is very smart on their part because I'm sure they're expecting a 14th street situation here. I was actually pretty surprised that the store wasn't more crowded and crazy! Enjoy the gift of Trader Joe's, Hoboken!! Yay to the Edgewater store for being able to relax a little now that there's 2 within 10 miles of each other in NJ! It's an exciting day!

Yelp
So glad this Trader Joe's opened up in Hoboken! They don't have the best fruit selection (some don't seem so fresh?) but it's good enough and I'm still willing to purchase. Plus I love the variety of healthy snack options, and the workers are very friendly and willing to assist. But best of all - there is free parking!! One of the reasons I hate going to Hoboken is because it's almost always so difficult to find parking. But they eliminated that hurdle! So be sure to get a ticket when you enter the parking garage and then you have your cashier validate your parking when you check out.

Yelp
Everything everything everything. I've only been there twice, and it's a brand new store (just opened last month), and it's within walking distance, so I'm partial, but... Pro's: it's Trader Joe's, so everything is a pro . There's free parking in the garage that's comped for an hour with elevator access to the store on the ground level-it's almost the same size as the ones in the suburbs, very clean, we'll run, and the staff is friendly-it still has all of the staples you're looking for (sampling station, floral section, etc). Con's: honestly-none-I just wish it were closer to me!!!!!

Yelp
My ID fell out of my pocket here, and one of the employees was nice enough to find me on Facebook and send me a message that it would be kept safely there, along with the store number to reach them. Thank you for going the extra mile! Jony deserves a raise!! Besides this, overall great store. Extremely well kept and the employees are always next level friendly. Love this location!

Yelp
Love this store and the staff. Manager Anthony is the best! There was a situation with a woman who didn't respect the high risk hours and as someone who is high risk, I so appreciated knowing Trader Joe's staff cares about their customers health, along with always being so helpful and pleasant to interact with. That's all on top of loving the brand in general!

Yelp
Love love love Trader Joe's. Stoked to have one in Hoboken, which I'm lucky enough to walk to instead of driving to Edgewater. I went to the grand opening, and have made a gazillion shopping trips since then and they've maintained the quality for the store - organized with the friendliest employees. For sure weekends and Mondays have intense crowds, but I think that's most grocery stores.

Yelp
Love my local TJs!! Ever since they opened mid 2017 we go there at least twice a week. The staff are super friendly. They have great products and cheap prices. The snacks are super addictive and they have a zillion types. This particular one has validated parking in a lot below it. They do sometimes run out of produce after late on Sundays

Yelp
They've rearranged the store and their attitudes, sadly not in a good way. Had an awful check out experience. They were actively trying to discourage me from paying cash. I was refused and the cashier line I went to and then made to wait behind everyone who was willing to pay with a card. This has never happened before. The line director made it clear it was my own fault for wanting to pay cash. When they finally got a cashier who would take cash she was clearly irritated and told me to go find a manager when I asked why they were trying to discourage people from paying cash. I wanted to put the heavy groceries in a backpack to make it easier to carry but she ignored me and just kept saying I know, I know, I know how to pack!!! What happened in there?? This used to be the best store in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Clean and friendly staff. The best grocery spot in Hoboken and the cheapest by far. I would recommend going during the week for your shopping bc on sat and sun they are usually packed and the shelves aren't as stocked! The best finds here and always new things to look forward to

Yelp
Zen happy place! We love shopping at Trader Joe's for items that Trader Joe's does best. You cannot order on line. You have to shop in person. The indoor parking is wonderful! The groceries: They make a vegan sour cream and a Trader Joe's cream cheese that we can't seem to keep in the fridge. Delish I tell you. The lox are sliced so thin. (Chefs kiss) They also have spice blends in their spice section that you can't find anywhere. Their vegan pasta is $.99 or $$1.29. They have Great prices on everything. I love how the store is organized. It's clean and thoughtful. I love the frozen garlic and ginger cubes! The customer service is first class and they have a lot of cashiers so long lines are not a problem. I don't go there for big bottles of laundry detergent or paper towels or toilet tissue. They have them but I get better deals elsewhere. In a pinch I've been known to get a small pack of paper towel

Yelp
This is a great new Trader Joe's. Parking is underneath in a garage. It is a little tight but always empty spaces so it's not a problem. Staff is alway VERY good asking if you need it validated. Crowds have been fine. Lines to check out aren't very long. It's New York style where you wait in 1 line and are called as checkers are free. There's a security guard by the door/elevator and as I was walking towards elevator he called the elevator for me. I'm sure that's not his job but it's such a simple thing to be helpful!! UPDATE - reiterating my 5 star review- the elevator was broken so I was going to go around outside to the garage and someone stopped my to take my cart so I could bring my car around and shed load them in the car. Nice touch
