Great friendly employees and clean building with plenty of foot traffic! Crowded and busy! Well stocked and clean! Plenty of products to choose from! We loved the layout of the business and the ease of shopping! This was our first visit to this business, so we were impressed all around! Plenty of parking for all patrons!

Clean store, Nice selection of items to pick from. Love the items you can't find at other stores. Employees are super nice and helpful.

I love Trader Joe’s, this location is clean and the staff is so friendly. I do wish they would put the flower display somewhere other than right inside the doorway. People can’t get inside right away because of the cluster. I also am disappointed that they have removed many of their nondairy and vegan items.

Trader Joe’s is a cool experience. Purchased a body butter, an arrangement of roses, a candle and tried a bottle bottle of wine. All affordable. Great customer service. Asked a representative where was the body butter and she politely walked me to the section. Will be back to shop.

First time there. Quite a few neat items not found in regular grocery stores. Prices are reasonable. The employees there are polite and helpful, and have good attitudes!

Discovered Trader Joe’s this year it was the best thing I ever searched for. The store is so vibrant, shelves all stocked with everything. The employees are so pleasant and nice. Even the ingredients of many products are so clean. The protein area is stocked with delicious protein bar. This is a gym rats heaven place for the high protein and clean food. But it can be really crowded for the store. Even worse the parking will haunt you if it’s crowded. But everything in there is heaven

I love this store. I started shopping here because the competition Whole Foods has let its quality slip. Unfortunately you have to now check the labels at Trader Joe’s!!! I bought organic heavy whipping cream for a recipe only to look down at the package to find it has gellan gum in it. I paid more for gellan gum. If I wanted gum in my cream I could have just bought the regular one or gone to any other store in town. Gums irritate the digestive tract. We have a whole nation of sick people because companies refuse to give us clean ingredients so even cooking from scratch will make us sick. Do better Trader Joe’s!

I Love Trader Joe's for numerous things, just to get started. When we hit Cali we pick up ready made meals for the hotel and the beaches, ready made sandwiches, salads, fruits, vegetables, nuts assorted granola bars drinks and chips. So check out Trader Joe's.

This is a great Trader Joe's. I like the layout, it's large enough and the checkers move the lines fast. I found everything I needed and after visiting other grocery stores for several months, the cost difference is notable. The parking is tough but the money you save makes it worth it.

Restocking my favs with Trader Joe's is a must. I always feel like Alice in wonderland (only when she's intrigued curious). They have the best options for great tasting healthy pre made lunch ideas. I'm trying to keep good picks in reach, while staying fit in order to keep up with my daughter. She recently started school and let me tell you it's a struggle to eat right on the go. But y'all always come through with the goods, to keep mommy going and properly fueled. So I got to yelp about it. Having quick options that taste good is a must with added feelings of bliss, I mean no one wants to be healthy on brick, dirt, and saw tasting goods. I'm not saying there's never a miss a TJ's but I'm pleased 95% of the time. Especially with my bill. I don't have to walk out with the embarrassment of sticker shock look, and the want to return everything and try somewhere else for a better deal. Because I will leave a basket at the register and ask the cashier to help me put everything back real quick (okay I'm lying) haha. Funny how I thought this place was overrated several years ago, I feel like that may have been another woman back then

I visit this Trader Joes as a part of my weekly grocery routine. I have my staples which includes the amazing produce and snacks and every now and then I'll try something new because it's hard to pass on Ube ice cream or Triffle potatoe chips. One of my favorite parts about TJs is the floral selection. I love creating my own arrangements and love raiding their bouquet wall for my next creation. They have a gorgeous array of options to choose from. I'm also always pleased to be greeted with kindness by all of the employees. It's easy to make a new friend while traversing the crowded aisles in search of treasure. TJs employees are known for being some of the most present and helpful. It took me a while to catch the Trader Joe's train but since I've been on, I never want to get off!!

I love shopping at Trader Joe's. I don't shop here often, but when I do, I always find what I need. The store is always clean and the staff is always nice and helpful. The produce is always fresh and well stocked. They have beautiful flowers as well. My favorite when I come here are the frozen meals. I love keeping these in the freezer for days when I don't want to eat out but I want something filling. And they're quick and easy to prepare! My only negative about the store is that it's small and parking is a bit tight.

I absolutely love everything about trader joe's, who doesn't? Fresh food good prices and I love the new items that they're constantly bringing in to change it up. An employees are super friendly, they've got to be the happiest workers in metairie.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop. They have a great selection of healthy food. The store is clean. The clerks are always friendly and very helpful. Trader Joe's has a pretty decent wine selection also. Great spot to come if you want quality food that's reasonably economical.

My boss put me on to TJs and now I am a diehard fan! I find myself hunting one down when traveling to other states. I was never into any frozen food meals before I came here. Although their Mexican selection does not taste that great, I have not disliked anything that I bought here. My favorites are: pecan praline granola, strawberry non-dairy ice cream, kettle popcorn, orange chicken, vegan bolognese bowl, truffle bbq sauce. The customers here do not have any manners but the employees are the best. They help you find anything that may have been moved around. They plan on expanding to Tulane Ave., but I wish they would bring one to the Bestbank.

Broken glass in my tea bottle and tried calling store tel # on receipt over and over, says voicemail not set up. I live 25 minutes away. They suck.

Trader Joe's is unique in its own way. The prices are pretty good if you are buying stuff made from their own brand but if you want a few of the "name brand" items than of course it costs a bit more. I wouldn't recommend shopping here for all of your groceries bc you won't find everything but it is a good place to go if you need to meet a budget and healthy alternatives. Staff is always pretty nice/helpful and they have really durable grocery bags that can be used after shopping. Other than that inside can be pretty hectic some days and other days can be pretty calm but it always is clean and in stock.

I love to shop at Trader Joe's they are all so nice and helpful but every time I go one worker always goes the extra mile to assist me and I just love her. Sheeka C always is nice and friendly recommending things to try and such a beautiful personality in general. I have tried some pretty amazing new foods due to her. Keep up the amazing job Trader Joes everyone should be as pleasant as Sheeka

went for a job interview, everything went good , and quick . got a phone call 2 hours later saying they wasn't going to hire me I asked why . he said there's no particular reason just decided not to move forward ....... it's because I'm black . Trader Joe's Racially profile you , it's not a single black person that works there and they don't want us to work there

this place has some of the best and most affordable flowers i've ever purchased, they also had multiple varieties of carnivorous plants to my joyful surprise! also their chocolate covered frozen banana slices are the bomb dot com. although it's a bit crowded like all the time, the lines move fast, and when the workers ring their cool bells oh we truly go wild! 5 stars yelp! i say 5 stars! remember to bring your reusable bags silly! Love this store! Always clean and well organized! Despite COVID, they haven't missed a beat. They get tricks daily! EARLY bird gets the worm! I push myself to go first thing in the morning. All produce and veggies are fairly priced. I love their 5 layer dip, it's sinful! I love their fresh flower selection as well!

Great to see a Trader Joe's in Metairie with convenient location off of Veterans. Parking lot can get crowded during peak weekend times, may need to park further out in the lot. Great to see the large papayas here. The raspberries can get moldy. Otherwise it's a standard Trader Joe's with great prices and all the essentials.

The ambience is ok. The crew members are nice,except a couple. Most things overpriced and many aren't what they say they are. They take returns easily because they no they're selling low grade products. Convenient,but not a lot to choose from. I like the mango ice cream bars,but they melt fast and they're usually out. A lot of signs for things that aren't there. A lot of food that will make you sick. A lot of recalls lately. I don't think it's worth the risk of going there again. Too suspicious and potentially very dangerous. Many labels are false. I've checked the olive oils in particular. They're not where they say they're from and in some cases not fully what they say they are. Be very.wary and ready to have your stomach pumped

Many of their frozen foods are just terrible. The only good thing is that they give refunds without hesitation. They're not well stocked and are always out of several items. Some things are ridiculously overpriced, others not so bad. The crew members are friendly. Some of the crew leaders have an attitude. It's really not worth it to go there for the very few good items they have. If I'm really close,I'll drop in about once a month. There are a lot of false statements on their labels. Much of their food isn't fresh. I've gotten sick 3 times from their food,so I'm really careful when I shop there. I do like their clam chowder,but the lobster bisque is basically just colored water. For the most part, their products are suspect. That's why they've had so many recalls lately. I don't know how they stay in business with the low quality products they sell.

Interesting grocery store. I don't have any negative comments, but I don't have any positive comments. I realize that there is a tremendous amount of hype regarding Trader Joe's. They have a number of specialty items that you cannot find anywhere else, but when we got there, this past February, the store shelves were mostly empty. The food that we were able to purchase was good, but costly. My family could have stayed home and shopped our local grocery store for cheaper. 3 Stars for the customer service.

Trader Joe's is freaking amazing, but honestly who doesn't know that already Whenever I walk in to the store, I can automatically can feel the difference in the atmosphere versus any other grocery store I visit. Everyone usually is sooooo nice and really happy to be there, whether they are shoppers or workers. The cashiers are expert baggers and will chat with you about your day, which shows they are totally passionate about their jobs and providing exceptional customer service. They are genuine. I'm starting to fall in love with multiple items in the store. The best thing is if you Nate certain about a particular product and ask the right worker they will give the item free! I mean it can't get any better than that! They also have great flowers bunches and succulents. The best thing is they ensure they have enough staff working to support the intense high volume crowd through out the day which is nice to see them constantly stocking new products meaning everything at any given time is fresh. Trader Joe's is a budget Whole Food that has taken over!

I usually love going to Trader Joe's and have never had a bad experience but Kendall, my cashier, made sure to ruin that. Not sure what she was so pissed off about but she was aggressively grabbing and throwing everything in my basket. Like genuinely slamming my belongings. She also just had an overall nasty NASTY attitude in general. Also, I was talking to my mom about it (bc I was so shocked)and she told me her cashier was an asshole last time, GUESS WHAT...checked her receipt..it was Kendall. Kendall idk who peed in ur cheerios but ur a mean person. Mean mean person KENDALL.

Love this store, the workers are always so friendly and really hard working. In particular Kendall really makes my day anytime I'm in her line! My groceries are always bagged extremely well and she pays attention to detail such as eggs and fragile stuff bagged very carefully. Workers like Kendall really make my day and gives me a reason to shop at traders joes and buy their products!! I appreciate all the wonderful workers at Trader Joe's in Metairie especially Kendall!!!

Trader Joe's is my goto store for several high quality low price groceries you can't find anywhere else. This is a great place to stock up on good wines at very reasonable prices. They have everything from Champagne, Sparkling Wines, Wine in Cola cans! And Wine in a BOX that your high class friends will enjoy--just don't tell them it's from a box! The quality of wine is Good to OutStanding depending on your budget. And when checking out they will put it all in a carry out box for you! Items such as Almond Milk, Turkey Bacon and regular large Eggs are of the best quality and checkout clerk opens the eggs them to make sure they are not cracked! Trader Joe's also carries their own branded cereals. For easy to cook meals I buy their ready to cook fried rice (Chicken, Japanese or Vegetable) along with a shrimp stir fry, broccoli & beef stir fry or a Mandarin Orange Chicken. Honestly I buy all of these and more to cook throughout the week. And what makes Trader Joe's truly the BEST place for grocery shopping is their employees who are more than happy to make a recommendation or give advice if you need help. They also have TWO employees at each check out station which is the fastest anywhere! It took maybe less than 2 minutes for me to checkout with two bags of groceries and a box loaded with 8 bottles of wine.. I highly recommend Trader Joe's for high quality groceries, wine and excellent service, but go on a weekday afternoon to avoid the crowds.

This is a Trader Joe's... if you've never been and are looking for a fun frozen or prepped foods section, plus some great produce, this is the place to stop. Also if you want fresh flowers, they almost always have a great selection of florals. I've really only started coming to this specific location during the Pandemic, and I know it's not entirely fair to judge it versus "normal" times, but that is the only measurement I have for this particular location. I have a friend who lives and dies by this locale and loves to shop here whenever possible. They have been trying to be really good about monitoring people as they come in and out of the store, limiting the numbers, wiping down carts, having plenty of cashier lanes open so that people don't get too bunched up while they're waiting. The line often extends down the length of the store, and sometimes the depth, of people just waiting to get in while they're limiting the numbers. Unfortunately, once you're inside, it still feels entirely too cramped to be safe, or to make for even a pleasant shopping experience. The staff is top notch, and I know they're trying, so it's a good experience overall.

Trader Joe's has some amazing food! I recently tried the frozen Mahi Mahi burgers. I pan fried the patty in a little butter and seasoned it generously with Cajun seasoning. It was very tasty! Quick weekday meal that you can feel good about serving to your family.

I have a strong infatuation with Trader Joe's and I tell everyone who listens that it is my go to grocer. They have almost all of my necessities and grocery needs. But the service is top notch, and it keeps me coming back! The food selection especially the quality of fresh produce and meat cannot be beat. There are no big box brands sold here, all private label foods, except for the wine and alcohol section. TJ's is known for their frozen foods-- since everything is high quality, delicious, and semi healthy with limited preservatives, added sodium, or sugar compared to national brands. The frozen foods are great if you need to pop something in the oven if you're having guests over, or if you need to fill up your own fridge. Every time I shop here, I always pick up something new and I have yet to be disappointed. The price point is also a little lower than the local Rouse's and has more of a selection than Target. During the pandemic, the staff has gone above and beyond following capacity limits and providing tents to shoppers waiting in the line to get inside. Every time I've shopped, no matter the time, I've been offered water.

The produce that looked good in the store was bad the next day. We're unlikely to buy produce from any location in this chain.

I've been shopping at Trader Joe's for so many years, that I actually remember what it used to look like with rows of nuts, dried fruits and muesli, isles of wines(when 2$ buck chuck was actually 2$), no frills.....and the staff in Hawaiian shirts. Then they grew and added bright colored signage and reusable totes, expanded their stocks. It was my number one go to for everything I needed in California. Then I moved in 2005 and I longed for TJs....every time I visited I purchased copious amounts of stuff that I would pack as souvenirs to bring back with me. I even requested a certain kind of bread for family and friends to load into their carry ons when visiting or returning home. Then the heavens parted and Trader Joe's came to New Orleans. Anyone from California will understand why we all cried tears of joy. I laugh at people who I see shopping now, long gone are the health food people or laid back beach residents; Now replaced by yoga attired folks, hipsters and ladies from Metairie, it makes for a good giggle. I can't wait to see if they build one down in the bayou.....I can only hope and pray or change my address. HOT TIP!: Read and shop from their flyer mag. Not only is it good fun reading, it will alert you on special limited supply items. Like the Magnums of Prosecco I bought for a song at Christmas, that made the best hostesses gifts over the holidays, I only wish I had bought more....

If you haven't been here yet and you're reading reviews to decide if the trip is worth it, let me just say...GO HERE. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to go with someone who shops here regularly. If you need a TJs sherpa, just message me. But seriously...what are you waiting for?

I love Trader Joe's. They have a lot of things I love to buy. I needed a few things and I was close by so I decided to come check them out. They did not disappoint. I found my faves and am now happily munching some pomegranate seeds at home. Last night I sautéed my shishito peppers. I'm a big fan of TJ's produce and dog biscuits and --

First visit back after COVID. Very impressed with the organization of the store and how well the workers enforced physical distancing, store capacity and masks. While there was a line that wrapped around the store, the wait wasn't too bad. They even have an employee out offering water bottles to customers!! Besides the food, they had a wonderful selection of flowers, plants and succulents. I've always appreciated that Trader Joe's was reasonably priced. Portions of food are perfect for people living by themselves.

TJs is my preferred grocer. I don't have the privilege of living near by, but I still drive out to this location (165 miles from home) once every month or two to stock up on my favorites. Cooler in car, of course. Snacks galore. TJs has introduced me to so many snacking options over the years. Frozen food heaven. Produce is inexpensive. Live plants that are unique. So much goodness in one store.

Holy moly this Trader Joe's ROCKS!!!!! I love the staff there, seriously, they're always so amazing and nice! I love all the vegan options TJs has to offer plus their produce, fruits/veggies are always in good shape and well priced. Their new Vegab Tika Masala is oh so good!!!! And the vegan kale pesto and new vegan dips are totally worth trying out!!! Lots of parking, pretty conveniently located off Veterans. Wish there was on in NOLA but I don't mind traveling the 15-20min to Metairie for it! Thanks TJs!!

Okay so this is a favorite grocery store for me as they carry produce and some of my plant based food staples that cost less then other local places. In my travel experience food in New Orleans is pricey. I am also able to get gluten free items that I don't see elsewhere like muffins and breads. The only thing I struggle with in this store is the shopping experience as the store feels hectic with customers zooming around (maybe to make sure they grab what they want before it's gone because things do seem to fly off the shelves) and employees filling the aisles bustling around stocking shelves. One of maybe the seven times I went in it was calm and they had a huge empty refrigerated section. My go to items to grab here are the double chocolate gluten free muffins, fresh figs, coconut whipped cream, almond butter, mushroom umami seasoning, and goddess seasoning.

I don't know where to begin, because Trader Joe's is just a different grocery experience. The parking lot can be a little congested on the weekends, so I usually shop here during the week. This location is the first and only Trader Joe's I've ever visited, and I must say that I really like it. The prices are very competitive and they carry some pretty cool merchandise - lots of organic, natural foods. They also have a fairly large selection of frozen foods. If you impromptu entertain a good bit, their frozen section is full of finger foods that are perfect to pop in the oven at a moments notice. They also have a great cheese section, and near the cheese, voila, the wine. If you're a Gouda cheese fan, they carry a great aged one - 1000 Days. It. Is. So. Good. Please know that you aren't likely to find specific brands here, as most items are packaged as their own. They also lack a fresh butcher section, but they do have a selection of prepackaged meats, that works if you're looking for things like chicken or pork. I can't neglect to mention the customer service, because I think these folks fell from heaven. Their employees are some of the nicest people on the planet. I have shopped here on my most hurried and harried days, and I ALWAYS leave feeling better than when I arrived. They are friendly, kind and so knowledgeable about the inventory. They seem to know exactly where every product in the store is located, and they all seem to possess this innate patience. It's so worth it to check out everything from the produce to the non perishables to the dairy to the bread. Give your self some time to peruse the store. I've found some amazing buys here at such great prices, and I'm always looking forward to my next visit.

Most of the produce is expired on the shelves, consistently out of many products. Almost rather go to the baton rouge location.

This is our FAVORITE grocery store! Lots of organic fruit's & vegetables, meats, cheeses, juices, milks, etc. Good selection of wines & beers, fresh breads & baked goods. Regrettably, Waco_TX doesn't have one (!), so we are forced to take our business to Dallas, Austin, Houston & New Orleans to shop at Trader Joe's!!

The staff at Trader Joe's are the friendliest group of people you will ever interact with in the service industry. The customer service golden standard is now Trader Joe's employees and not Chick-fil-a. I couldn't find the celery and an employee stopped me and ask if he could help me find something. He pointed me right to it. While I was searching for plant-based butter, the employee restocking the shelves gave me a warm smile and ask, "How are you doing today?" I received a warm smile from every employee I made eye contact with. Bottom line: super, super friendly people! Also, Trader Joe's has better prices and quality of food. For example, the bell peppers cost on average $.30 less here than they do at Winn Dixie. Purchasing fresh produce can quickly add up, so it's a great thing that the dollar goes further here. Also, they carry jackfruit, and most other grocery stores do not. Top three things I love about Trader Joe's: 1. They only use paper bags and encourage shoppers to use reusable bags. 2. They have the interesting looking and often tasting snacks that you didn't know you were looking for (and it's usually a plant-based snack). 3. FRIENDLIEST STAFF EVER. Living in Southern California had a lot of benefits, and Trader Joe's was one of them. Trader Joe's was one of my favorite places to "make groceries", and I was a loyal shopper for 7 years. (If you are not from New Orleans, don't try to figure out how to "make" groceries"). But I digress. When we moved back to New Orleans, there wasn't a Trader Joe's to be found. And even when they opened a store in Baton Rouge, LA a year or so ago, it was over 75 miles to get there and wasn't convenient enough to shop there regularly. Fast forward 7 years to 9/23/2016, and Trader Joe's opened up store # 755 in the heart of Metairie (in the NOLA metro area). We arrived on day 2 at 4 PM and the parking lot was almost filled to capacity. When we got inside, the store was even more crowded, but nothing was going to break more spirits or knock me down off this Trader Joe's high. I bought some beautiful rib eye steaks and all my old favorites. They brought in personnel from around the nation to assist them on opening day/week, and it's a good thing they did, as there were people everywhere. However, the employees were stocking the shelves as fast as the customers were buying them. Even though the checkout line wrapped around the entire store, there was a sign holder indicating the front of the line, the back of the line and a greeter guide you to the next open cashier. The line only took 10-12 minutes from back to front. For those of you who have never been to a Trader Joe's, I liken it to a smaller, friendlier Whole Foods. Trader Joe's are not huge stores and average between 10,000 -12,000 square feet. Whereas most supermarkets carry around 50,000 items, Trader Joe's carries about 4,000 items; and about 80% of everything they sell bears their own brand name. But don't let this comparatively small number number fool you, as they have just about everything you could ever want or need. If you are in to making healthier choices, "Trader Joe's has said its private-label products contain no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, no colors derived from anything other than naturally available products, no genetically modified ingredients, no partially hydrogenated oils (adding trans-fat), or MSG. In addition, its private-label dairy products use milk from cows not given the artificial growth hormone rBST." The people here are friendly, the prices are good, the choices are numerous (& healthy) and the parking is ample. If you've never been to Trader Joe's, try them out, as you are likely to become a customer for life.

Finally after all these years we have a Trader Joe's here! Yay! Being from California originally, I have been going to them back there since the late 80's when they were still more of a wine and cheese shop. They have developed tremendously over the years into a great little market. I attended the grand opening here this morning (third in line!) and it did not disappoint. The Lei cutting ceremony was so cool! They are a little bigger than the Baton Rouge store and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'm so glad I can go here on a regular basis now instead of a few times a year when I visit back home. They offer a great variety of all sorts of things. And wine too, of course! As I expect, there will be many that do not understand the concept of the company/store. So, please read my side notes: -If you are looking for local New Orleans or Louisiana products and seafood: This is not the store for you. -If you are looking for national brand items: This is not the store for you. Most of what they sell is Trader Joe's brand. BUT, if you like to try new things that are good quality and fair priced - This is the store for you!! Plus, Trader Joe's policy is whatever you buy, if for any reason you do not like it or are not satisfied, you can return or exchange the item. I will be back for sure!!!

I love, love, love TJ's. Their products are excellent for health and easy on the pocketbook. My first time at a TJ's was in Mineola, NY and it was supremely overcrowded: whereas, I really couldn't browse the aisles like I'd want to. The decor here is "Who Dat" friendly and shows off the NOLA culture. So glad that this store is more spacious and less busy than the NY's store. I really enjoy their coffee ice cream popsicle (40 calories) to satisfy my sugar cravings. The customer service at both stores is always exemplary and that coupled with healthy products is what makes me want to become a regular.

If Trader Joe's bought Buc-ee's I would sell everything I own to get a piece of that company. Someone that could take Costco "head-on" in the wine markets, management, HR retention, and relaxed drug testing. But that's just me- a "dreamer" I remember in 1977 I told everyone how Microsoft was going to "rule the world". My parents would not invest an extra .18 cents for touch tone service. Once our politicians realize the money that can be made by "stealing Mardi Gras" - cannabis will be outselling the alcohol (except for Modelo & Corona). ¡viva mi héroe "el chapo" Guzman!

Besides the fact that it's always crowded and hard to navigate, Trader Joe's is the bomb.com. I really wish there was a location in Slidell. They're produce is fresh and doesn't smell like it was transported through a garbage dump. I love the cheeses. Their brand of foods are top notch and affordable. I love their fresh flowers and herbs. The cashiers are cool people. They're chill and not overly bubbly, which can come off as fake. It's a vibe y'all. Stop by

I really love this store! You can find foods for any picky eater- fresh produce, vegan, vegetarian, gluten/dairy free, meats, fish, frozen, desserts. Great inexpensive wine selection. I wish there were more stores like this one in the city. The only downside is, the building itself is not big. It can get really crowded on the weekends and holidays. Parking also gets challenging in those times. I'd recommend coming at day time on a weekday.

My absolute favorite grocery store!!! I started going to Trader Joe's when I was living in the Baltimore/Annapolis area. I love the fact that the same standard that I loved over the years is the same standard here in Metairie. The customer service is awesome! Just recently, my hubby wanted the apple blossoms, but TJ's was sold out. Well, they called him when they came in. Now that's above and beyond. In addition to awesome customer service, I love the cool food items that I can't find in other grocery stores, such as sweet potato gnocchi and the melodious blend veggies. I LOVE the produce because I can get organic veggies and fruits without spending a lot of money. I love the snack size bags of nut mixes. No trip to Trader Joe's is complete with wine. My favorite non- food item is the lavender body scrub, and I can't find it any where else. My skin looks and feels amazing when I use it. Go and find your favorite items and stock up!

I went here at 11:00 am on. Thursday and it was CRAZY crowded. It's obvious that NOLA needs more than one TJ's. Plus, the staff was the un-friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a Trader Joe's. I got what I needed but I'm disappointed in the experience.

If I could give a 6 star rating I would. Trader Joe's is one of my favorite go to grocery stores in the city. I can always find just what I need and also find new, amazing items that I will end up falling in love with. A few of my favorites are the mandarin chicken, vegetable spring rolls and hold the cone ice cream cones. I love how organized the store always is, and there is almost always a wide selection of items. TJ provides quality produce, food, flowers, wine, snacks, and toiletries for an affordable price. Lastly, I appreciate how they maintain a clean and sanitized store. They ensure the store is not over packed with people and they are constantly wiping and sanitizing surfaces. I love Trader Joe's and I hope to see another location open in city.

The two star rating is purely for the weekend shopping experience at this TJ's. Hey TJ's marketing team - NOLA has outgrown its one small location. We need a second one, stat. I'm from Cali, so I'm no stranger to TJ's. I've been shopping at this chain for 20+ years, even in the 90s when this was the one place I could get a Toberlone bar before chain grocery stores started carrying them. I remember when two buck Chuck, was actually $2 and not $2.99. The produce selection and grab-and-go packaging beats the other local grocery stores, hands down. Crimini mushrooms, riced cauliflower, chopped kale, rainbow carrots, and green goddess salad dressing? Yes, please. I also love the frozen section, with the cauliflower fried rice, Thai shrimp dumplings, Bolognese sauce, cioppino, and eggplant parm as my go-to dishes. All the sauces and seasonings are not to be missed, as they can jazz up any bland weekday dinner. Oddly enough, I don't shop for wine or liquor here like I used to back in Cali. This is Louisiana, where alcohol can be found anywhere. I mainly shop on the weekends, which is where the rating comes from. I haven't SHOPPED at this TJ's. On the weekends, you're running a gauntlet, hoping to grab your staples and get out in one piece. There is no shopping and discovering new products. It's one huge melee as shoppers run over each other to throw items in their carts and the employees are working furiously to re-stock, leaving pallets and boxes of merch in the middle of the already congested aisles. It's so busy, they're always running out of key products. I think the NOLA metro market has proven itself; can we have another one now?
