Two guys checking me out were so nice!!! My new go-to store since I'm trying to eat better. I love that they don't use plastic bags either, and you can buy your own (with actually cute designs!!).💖 One of the best things here is that it's actually affordable - coming from a broke college student lol

This was my first time going to trader joe’s and i was pleasantly surprised! They had plenty of dairy free alternatives and i enjoyed the lower prices! The employees were very nice and super helpful. I will be back

Good value and products found exclusively in the stores. No national advertising keeps prices competitive.

We visited this Trader Joe's as we rolled into Nashville. We were blown away by the size of the parking lot, first and foremost. Once we got inside, we couldn't believe how big it was. We had amazing help from Mallory and then spoke with Brian who gave us some great tips on things not to be missed in the city. What a great experience. Love TJs!!! And this Nashville location is the best one I have ever experienced.

Google
Reliable stop before my annual summer conference. I stock the hotel mini-fridge, get a variety of snacks, and select at least one new thing to try. Good prices, but there were a couple of things that are no longer produced or out of stock.

Hi Trader Joes Team, I have a recommendation for your store. The service and cleanness of the store is incrediable however the outside parking lot does not reflect it properly. My recommendation is to even out the pavement and re-paint all the lines. and add proper lanes for the area near the traffic light. Thank you for your consideration, Jo Jamullamudi

Google
Absolutely wonderful people here. TJs is known for having some of the best foods you can get, but the people make it all worth the price of admission. The store is always clean and well taken care of, the food is delicious and priced amazingly and you get service with a smile. A+ experience.

Google
Trader Joe's has some of the best prices in the industry. I just bought about 2 days' worth of groceries for a single person for less than $14.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's and I make it a habit to visit as many locations as I can in my travels. This one is pretty small and really hectic. I couldn't find parking close by but I don't mind walking. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. This location is a bit smaller than the location I frequent in AZ but I found my "staples" easily. Clean, organized and friendly !

Yelp
I hit two Trader Joe's stores while in Nashville. I stumbled upon this one by accident after filling up my car with gas at a station down the road. I made a spontaneous right turn into the parking lot and backed into a parking spot. The parking lot does get busy. You can still find a decent parking spot despite the volume of cars and, in turn, people. I like this store a lot. I am a fan of Chomps meat sticks. This store had several varieties and I picked up one of each flavour. I like bringing them on flights heading home as snacks. I had picked up a package of watermelon jerky at a different Trader Joe's store. I loved it so much that I bought another package here. This store has lots of dried fruit. The dried baby bananas caught my attention. The cereal aisle is awesome. I ended up getting a box of cinnamon toasted squares. They were delicious. I brought back half the box and am sad that I polished them off recently. So good! What stands out at this store is the frozen desserts section. From vegan cookies and creme bonbons, to small containers of ube ice cream, I wanted everything that I saw. It was the most extensive variety of frozen treats that I had ever seen at any Trader Joe's. I picked up a package of pork potstickers. I like having potstickers for breakfast. It allows me to change up the free breakfast items at the hotel and saves me a trip downstairs in the morning. Instead, preparing them in my room's kitchenette made it feel like being home away from home. They were yummy and excellent. I had a cheerful man who helped cash me out. I paid with my credit card. Done! He packed everything in a paper bag. I wished him a great day. He reciprocated and I happily headed to my car with my goods. I miss Trader Joe's, especially this one. It had everything that I needed and wanted. (350)

Yelp
Coming from CA, this place was my safe place in a foreign town. Had everything I needed. Thank you

Yelp
Trader Joe's has always been (and probably will always be) one of my favorite places to shop! Especially for those with dietary needs, Trader Joe's hits the nail on the head. I've always admired that in addition to their smiley service and surplus of options, the Trader Joe's team is always in the race to leave a positive impact. Whether it's offering organic lollipops to kids who visit Trader Joe's stores, or providing wooden forks to those who purchase lunch, the Trader Joe's team is always in search of ways to make someone smile. Now about those wooden forks... I am a huge fan of the idea. Using wood instead of plastic is downright genius! However, the function of the fork is sometimes questionable. What I recommend to frequent Trader Joe's visitors, is to keep a few metal forks in your car for when you stop for lunch! This way, you avoid the need to use the wooden forks provided by Trader Joe's, and will still be making a positive difference by avoiding the use of plastic utensils. Keep it up Trader Joe's team, and see you next week for my weekly shopping run.

Yelp
Why does Trader Joe's have to be so far? I really like shopping at Trader Joe's but I only come when I don't mind fighting the traffic. Trader Joe's please come to North East side of Nashvillle. They have the best pickle popcorn ever!! Can't find it anywhere else. So I buy a case and make it last. They have the beat vegan cherry ice cream too. That never lasts long. It's that delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Great location, very organized. The cashier who helped me was very pleasant and packed everything into a paper bag. Busy parking lot though and it's not the easiest to get in and out of. I went in without a plan and came out with fantastic items. I love their Garlic Naan and there was only one package left, so I must not be the only one. I also really enjoy their Bao Buns and Samosas. The frozen dessert section has some pretty unique items. I was looking for the Horchata or Ube ice cream that I saw mentioned in another review, but it wasn't there and I bought Okie Dokie instead. It was pretty delicious. Every time you stop by you will probably find a new item to love, that's what brings me to Trader Joe's.

Yelp
My fiancée and I love TJ's. We go every week or so. Tonight, when checking out, we were greeted by JP. He was so friendly and helpful. I asked him what reuseable bag I should get and took much too long to decide, but he didn't mind at all. He was a lot of fun. I love Trader Joe's customer service in general, but he was exceptional. Thanks JP! Give this man a raise!

Yelp
Why does this place have to be so far?! I hope they open another location near or around me. Whenever I am in the area I go to Trader Joe's and stock bc there are items there I can't get at my local Publix or Kroger. The one thing that makes me sad is when they discontinue a favorite item of mine. The employees are next level! I have never had a bad dream experience, you can tell they enjoy their jobs. Parking can be crazy but my last couple of visits wasn't bad, it's more of the green hills traffic.

N A.

Yelp
I always come to this location and love it. The staff is so nice when I ask where something is; they always walk me to the right place, and when I check out, they always make conversation. The shelves are always stocked and my grocery bags are always filled in a way that makes it easier to put my food away once I get home (frozen food together, vegetables and fruits together, etc.) Keep doing what you are doing!!

Anna Louise J.

Yelp
Trader Joe's has the kindest, most helpful employees in the world. I had to return an item that I didn't particularly like but was already opened, and they easily returned it with no problems. Their staff are always easily accessible for questions and are ready and willing to answer them. I'd love to see them add a self-checkout feature in the future for people with a few items because it can get very busy there and they can get very backed up during those times but it will never deter me from shopping at my favorite grocery store!
google avatar

Ericka H.

Yelp
Great snacks and healthy food choices. I highly recommend going on Tik Tok for food choices! Trust me it's worth it.

Yelp
I wouldn't usually leave a review for a grocery store but I just have to shout out the employees here. I had a very uncomfortable situation where another customer approached me and several other women inside the store. When I checked out I mentioned it to the employees and they told me they had already noticed and were keeping an eye on it. They even walked me out to my car to make sure I was safe! I feel like a lot of stores, especially large chains, don't feel the need to go above and beyond when it comes to customer service, so I really really appreciate this. I love Trader Joe's in general and this experience just impressed me so much.

Yelp
I don't fully understand why Nashville has like -2 grocery stores, but it's fine because I will be getting Trader Joe's chili lime rolled corn tortilla chips come hell or high water. the Nashville Trader Joe's is well stocked and pretty large, and the only drawback is that it's not closer to the center of town.
google avatar

Nalini M.

Yelp
I truly love Trader Joe's, no other grocery store can compare with their reasonable prices and unique products with each seasonal change. I went recently and it's pumpkin season. There were so many varieties of items that were pumpkin flavored . A few must have from Trader Joe's are the frozen purée garlic, basil and ginger cubes in the freezer. I always purchased their nutritional yeast and hot pepper sauce. Definitely can't go wrong shopping at this place. The parking lot is shared with another business. It can tend to feel very congested so be aware of your surroundings. Those parking spots are a hot commodity. Overall this is wonderful place to shop for hours.
google avatar

Lori I.

Yelp
Took an Uber here from downtown so we could buy prepackaged salads to eat during our convention-packed days. You know how it goes, you go for one thing and end up leaving with 57. It was the beginning of pumpkin everything season when I went in September but my suitcase was already at it's limit so I didn't buy too many of my pumpkin favorites here...but my favorites are: Gluten free pumpkin pancake mix dark chocolate sea salt almonds ABC bars (almond butter cocoa) dried tangerines spices On this trip I also got bananas for 19cents each, and nice looking fruits too. I threw them into my smoothies during the mornings and they were great for on the go snacks. Wish we had a Trader Joes.
google avatar

Robin S.

Yelp
WOW!! I cannot get over how big this location is and the amount of items they have compared to the 3 locations I have in SW Florida. The only disappointment was that they did not have a Nashville reusable bag. I collect these from all of the TJ's I go to. The friendliest staff members.
google avatar

Lori J.

Yelp
Signs are so cute at this location an the "new items" display is bountiful! Their themed displays are always cute as well and the crew at Trader Joe's never disappoints. Parking isn't as bad as other stores- you might have to walk a couple minutes but you won't have to wait for a spot!
google avatar

Yelp
Have you ever been to a bad Trader Joe's? I have yet to find one, and this location in Green Hills is as equally fantastic as the rest. Location, convenient for me (as I work right up the road). Parking lot, atrocious, but better since the new location on White Bridge opened. Store, clean and always well stocked. It doesn't matter the time of day I'm there, always several employees out restocking shelves. Prices, the best! Keep it up TJ. Customer service at this location is without a doubt the best I've seen in all my years of shopping here (at locations in Michigan, Illinois and now Tennessee). I believe they read minds here. Without being pushy or fake sounding, these employees know when you're looking for a little assistance and they are so happy to help and kind about it. But the kicker for me was tonight... as I was pulling out of the parking lot in a sudden DOWNPOUR that seemingly came out of nowhere, I saw an employee holding an umbrella over a mother and her daughter walking to their car. He was getting soaked in the process, but they were clearly caught off guard with the rain and he wanted to help. Note: Trader Joe's does not sell umbrellas. This is a company that hires good people who do good things just because. It truly warmed my heart to see that this evening. Thanks Green Hills TJ - keep doin' your thing.

Yelp
Love you store, can I order the coco and peppermint wine to be delivered in Hopkinsville KY?
google avatar

Yelp
I am a croissant lover, and chocolate filled croissants are one of my favorite treats on the planet. Trader Joe's frozen chocolate croissants are better that any I have ever tasted. You bake them at home after letting then rise overnight. Heaven on earth!!!
google avatar

Beth G.

Yelp
Did you know you can call Ahead and reserve something!?!? Love love love this place and it's workers. Also side notes- if you see something seasonal- don't wait- Nashville is exploding and people are buying fast- another tip- Aldis carries some Of the same seasonal offerings. Parking is decent and the line goes fast. It truly is a store for mostly fun appetizers.
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
Trader Joes in Nashville is the definition of organized chaos. The parking lot is always filled but you are always able to find a spot. Walking in you find everything that you need plus more. Trader Joe's has all the essentials plus tons of local and seasonal goods.
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
Usually a delightful place to shop, I love Trader Joe's, Although today my friend and I (who is visiting from Washington) we're suspiciously carded and had our IDs examined for a moment too long. We are both in our early 30's. The individual who questioned the quality of my friends license made us leave feeling like unappreciated customers. Will not be returning to this location.
google avatar

Mary Kate E.

Yelp
I like this Trader Joe's. I think it can be a bit hectic literally on any given day since it is in Green Hills, but nevertheless, it is well stocked and taken care of by the employees. Employees seem genuinely happy to work here and they always provide wonderful costumer service. I think if I had any complains it would be the parking lot situation. It is a zoo and it is like solving a rubik's cube getting out of there.
google avatar

Nicolette T.

Yelp
I am a BIG fan of Trader Joe's. I am a frequent visitor at this location in particular. They always seem to be stocked with new and niche products and items. Similar to my Target shopping trips, I got in for a few items, and end up buying so much more. They have a great sampling section in the back, to introduce you to products you might not have tried before. While parking is sparse, and aisles are tight--if you come during non-peak times you'll find a much easier time shopping. But honestly, the chaos is part of Trader Joe's charm! This location in particular has such nice, friendly staff open to any questions you have when getting lost inside!
google avatar

Mandy K.

Yelp
I lived most of my adult life not knowing what happens behind these doors. And I admit, on my first trip, it all seemed foreign. I didn't get it. NOW I CANT AND I MEAN CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT. You will have Green Hills traffic and a super fun time finding a parking spot... deal with it. You will be rewarded for your efforts. Will you have to jockey to get a space at the produce aisle, yes. Will you wait in a long-ish line to check out? Yes. Will they be out of a few things you are looking for? Yes. That's just the way it goes. But I count my lucky stars that I have access to this magical place. For a foodie, I never stop learning here. I follow lots of TJ shoppers on insta, and they inspire me to no end!! They have products here that simply can't be replicated. These products help cut down on my meal prep while still elevating my culinary game. Do I wish they were twice as big with a Sams size parking lot?? I think we all know that answer. But for a girl who never even had access to one, you will NOT catch me complaining!! Print it.
google avatar

Alexis B.

Yelp
I know people love Trader Joe's. Like a lot. I personally think it's fine but not worth the hassle? If you're going to shop at this store, I highly recommend getting there close to when they open (I went at 8am this past Sunday). It's way less crowded - you can actually move your cart! And you park! Being in Green Hills, the location of this Trader Joe's is pretty brutal. But everyone once in a while you just need something from Trader Joe's. In those situations, just be smart (go early or late)!
google avatar

Christina E.

Yelp
NUMBER ONE NOTE: They choose the most awful parking situations. And... It's been a decade since I've used my car insurance, but yep, got into a super minor fender bender IN THE PARKING LOT HERE. UGH it's so frustrating. Ok, so my suggestion is DONT GO ON THE WEEKENDS. If you have to, go before 10am. DONE. Otherwise, it's like walking into a shiny new toy store. Free coffee, free samples - I mean, did you know you can walk up to the back counter with an item you want to try and they will literally bust it open for you? WHO ELSE WOULD DO THIS AMAZINGNESS FOR THEIR CLIENTS. That's pretty fantastic!!! Plus the holidays they always bring out the big guns with the fancy flavors. I'll take one of each of their pumpkin things. Same for Christmas, one of everything pleaseeeee. The greenery when you first walk in is always great, and did you know they have cards? I mean, you need to go if you haven't been. Just know if you go on the weekends it's a literal nightmare and they run out of things, it just happens - don't say I didn't warn you...
google avatar

Marie B.

Yelp
I cannot recall one time that I have been to Trader Joe's and it has not been busy. TJ's will definitely test your patience from fighting through the horrendous parking lot traffic, maneuvering through the crowded store, and waiting in the long lines to check out. Every time I visit TJ's I ask myself is it worth it and my answer is always, Yes! They offer a variety of organic, international, gluten-free and vegetarian options. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Although the Green Hills location is relatively small compared to other grocery store chains, the pros of this location outweighs the cons. In addition to frequent overcrowding, this TJ's is often plagued with long lines and a congested parking lot. Nevertheless, you'll find very reasonable prices to fulfill your dietary and household needs.
google avatar

Madison J.

Yelp
I love the people here almost as much as I love the chocolate hummus. Seriously, the workers will drop everything and help you find whatever obscure cauliflower-based frozen food you're looking for. Not to mention the samples are always bomb. The parking lot, however, is the seventh circle of hell. It has yet to keep me from my fresh bruschetta sauce yet though so good things come to those who wait (and wait...and wait).
google avatar

Dawn M.

Yelp
On way to Ohio so only spent $100. I really love this place and will stop on way back. I love this place!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
I always enjoy going to this store. I just wish it was closer to my home. I hate to fight the traffic to get to them and then once I am there..I hate to fight the small parking lot and then shoulder to shoulder inside the small store. The prices are good but sometimes are a little high. I would shop here more often if the prices were a little more budget friendly and I wish they had a bigger location. But, I still enjoy shopping here!! And I will continue to fight the traffic and the small location to go here every now and then.
google avatar

Dayana V.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet. I am OBSESSED with tjs. I wish there was one closer to clarksville, but this will do. I love all the options there are. Everything is relatively cheap or compares to other groceries stores. Lots of organic or healthy options. I love that there are samples daily. I've gotten quite a few items because of sampling them. Every time I stop by I try and get something new, so that I can try more products. I can say I am rarely disappointed. Most of the employees are super nice and friendly. With TN laws changing this past year, we now have the wine/beverage option as well Suggest that if you haven't been here, you do.
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
I just can't do it anymore.* Despite my love of juice, frozen ethnic meals, cookies, popcorn, and (finally) cheap wine, I can't do it anymore. The parking lot. The oversized cars (unless you live in the country and tow isht on the regular, you don't need a truck; you don't. And if you don't know how to park the s.o.b. in one spot, you certainly don't need one). The unruly children (a marketing campaign for Lord of the Flies, perhaps? Control your bad a$$ kids, people!!). The congestion. The lack of stock. The overall rudeness and lack of common courtesy (you're in a grocery store in a wealthy first-world city; your life can't be that bad. It can't be). Getting my heels banged with carts as patrons race for free samples. I can't. Not anymore. I'm convinced whoever scouted this location hates people. This has to be a social experiment. Has to be. *My undying love for TJ juice keeps this review at 3 stars. I know. I'm weak.
google avatar

Raydia W.

Yelp
First-time visit to Nashville and wanted to check out the local TJs. After my visit there, I'm now convinced that it's part of the TJs plan to have the worst entry, parking, and exit experience for its customers at almost every location across the country. Why must every store be located on the smallest lot they can find in the area??? Okay so I've only been to 12-15 TJs so maybe that's an unfair assessment. Is this how they keep their prices low and have such a great return policy? I'd accept a 7-day return policy in exchange for larger parking lots. This was my first Middle America TJ visit and was pleasantly surprised to see some of the selections were different than what I've seen on the east and west coast stores. Differences aside, what is there must be popular because some foods were out of stock and parts of the freezer section were bare. The staff was very friendly and the decor was very cool with the country music themes. I started to panic when I couldn't find the chocolate bars in the "regular" section above the frozen foods but was relieved to find them placed in various sections by the checkout aisles. I was hoping to see a TJ shopping bag that represented the region (like they have with the NYC bags) but I didn't notice any. Hope I didn't overlook it.

Yelp
I always feel at home at Trader Joe's no matter if it's a location in a big city or a small one. This one in Nashville was no different. I felt like I knew where everything was, even though it was one I had never been to. Yup, things were easy to locate, staff was super helpful and quite friendly. Prices are affordable for exceptional quality products. The hotel we were staying at didn't provide a large fridge, so we had to limit ourselves on perishable items. They pretty much have everything I need at Trader Joe's, except for organic kale bunches that I prefer to purchase over bagged (already washed kale). Not my favorite, honestly. Trader Joe's even has a decent selection of pre-made salads and dinners and a robust selection of dry goods like nuts and healthy snacks. The customer service at the register was probably the nicest I have ever encountered at any TJ's (and I've been to a lot of them). They were all so friendly and personable, which put the icing on the cake! This one is pretty close to the mall and some nice eateries, so if you're hungry after shopping, then make sure to hit one of them up. So, if you're visiting Nashville and need your Trader Joe's fix... here you go; you're welcome!
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Decided to stop by one more time since I was in the area. Complete chaos from the parking lot all the way through the store. All produce was pre washed in bags- gross no actual FRESH greens. Never again, TJ has completely fallen off my radar!

Yelp
I must've decided to visit on a bad day... Sunday aka Grocery Day for everyone in Green Hills. The store has a a great selection of those random foods you don't find at a traditional grocery store. They carry mochi! They carry also tons of their store brand items which are just as good as the brand name items you find at the traditional grocery stores. Whole hazelnut dark chocolate bar is worth it. Dark chocolate is healthy right? There is a beautiful selection of flowers also. You also see the great parents with tantrum throwing children here. I have not seen a toddler laying on the floor of a grocery store before over a shopping cart. I guess there's a first time for everything. The parking lot is atrocious. Do not drive your big trucks here, you will likely have to almost double park. (Guilty). Oh yes, try shopping on a day other than Sunday here... It was like driving on I-24 going through the aisles. Opt for a basket instead of the cart. Not sure if I have the patience for this store. I hope Trader Joe's finds another location to open at in the greater Nashville area.

Troy L.

Yelp
My family and I have had a hard week evacuating from New Orleans to Nashville due to hurricane Ida. I stopped here to pickup some wine and chocolate for our relatives as a thank you for hosting us. Not only was I engaged in conversation once while picking out my chocolate but also at checkout. I wish I could remember the guys name but I told him my story and he was compassionate and welcoming. He bought me another piece of his favorite chocolate candy as a gesture of goodwill. This is what hospitality is all about. Thank you for making me feel at home. Best, Troy Lenihan

Yelp
The best stor in America! To many fresh food...in Nashville very big stor! Service it's very good Friendly people! Thanks gays I'm enjoying this stor!

Sandra K.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's. Good healthy products and good prices. Nice people working there. I have never encountered rudeness of shoppers like someone else mentioned. Worst thing that ever happened to me there was having to loop the lot for parking. Location is unfortunate because Green hills has gotten so busy traffic is horrible. I only go there once every couple of months because the traffic is so bad. They should consider putting a location in west Nashville since there are tons of condos (people) like in Bellevue but not as many businesses so way less congestion but still on the way home for a lot of people.

Yelp
Trade joes in this upbeat neighborhood where the cars are shiny and the people are light. And the products are awesome.

Yelp
Literally the best customer service, ever. Friendliest employees, genuinely on a mission to make your day!

Yelp
I love this place, yes the parking is somewhat hard to navigate. The people are fun and friendly and if you love trying new things check out the seasonal items before they sell out

Yelp

Yelp
Going to Trader Joe's kind of feels like I'm a kid let loose in a candy store and it's AWESOME. Anyone who's been to this particular location likely knows that it gets PACKED. Out of personal convenience, I always seem to make the trek here during some of the busiest hours and am usually really cranky by the time I pull into the parking lot. I usually have to wait for a car to pull out to take their spot because it's so packed. And then I walk inside and forget that I'm cranky because Trader Joe's is AMAZING. Granted, it gets super busy, so be prepared to weave between other carts and be patient with your shopping experience. They have excellent prices on produce, a great variety of snacks, veggies, and my favorite- healthy prepared meals! Some of my personal favorites include riced cauliflower & cauliflower gnocchi. I'm not a huge fan of veggies so it's awesome to get additions to my diet that I don't have to choke down while pretending to enjoy them. I also picked up a butternut squash pizza crust today- excited to try! I'd recommend checking out this location at off peak hours to save yourself some time and stress, but it's 100% worth the trek regardless.

Yelp
The customer service is wonderful. The cashiers were so sweet they recommended a sweet red wine and when checking my Id noticed it's my birthday tomorrow. They then gifted me a bouquet of beautiful flowers. It really made my day. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Yelp
Trader Joe's in general is so great. I'm sure everyone has a list of their favorite TJ foods. I personally don't shop at TJ on the regular, but like to stop by every now and then to stock up on some goodies. As for this location, there is obviously one big problem: the parking lot. I always make my boyfriend drive when we go there because I can't deal with the anxiety of this parking lot. I'm always just holding my breath, hoping we make it out alive. It's small, it's crowded, it's right off of a main street, it's crazy. If it's busy, there is a line at the stoplight so it can be impossible to back out. If you go during a slower time it's ok. Ok, over my rant about the parking lot. The actual store is your typical TJs. Great selection of flowers, food, and drinks. They always have something yummy to sample. They have a nice beer selection that I definitely need to try more of. My favorite thing of all is the sea salt dark chocolate caramel bar. It's the best. The staff is always friendly and smiling, even during the busiest of times. I used to work retail and I know how hard it can be to keep a smile on your face all day. But somehow, they manage to do this. If you like TJs then this store holds up the standards of other locations. Just make your way through the parking lot and it's golden from there!
