This location is the Final Boss of all Trader Joe's. A Trader Joe's in an old-timey bank! Such opulence! Nobody beats TJ's. Where else can you get some fresh cape gooseberries (whatever that is)? They could use a few more check-out people, though, or self-checkout.

Final boss of all Trader Joe's. Located within an antique bank building, its architecture is absolutley exquisite. Store is stocked with an immense variety of products, and there are even free sample of delicious pastries. Absaloutley wonderful, definitely go here.

This is by far the busiest Trader Joe's I have ever seen. The checkout line extended around the perimeter of the store; however, with over 25 cashiers on duty, the wait time remained minimal. The only drawback was that many of the shelves were noticeably empty.

I’ve had repeated issues at the 130 Court St Trader Joe’s — and the manager response is what really made me stop coming. This is the second time I’ve seen mouse droppings on the potato chip shelf. When I brought it to the manager, Isaac, he was dismissive and told me they were “aware.” The fact that it’s happened multiple times suggests they’re either not fixing it or not taking it seriously. A manager’s job is to treat food safety as urgent — not brush it off like a customer is being dramatic. Last month, I went to buy bread and an employee thankfully noticed rodent chew marks through the bag — the product had clearly been compromised. I’m grateful the employee caught it, but customers shouldn’t have to rely on luck (or an alert staff member) to avoid contaminated food. On top of that, the store is frequently understocked and feels chronically understaffed, which adds to the sense that standards have slipped across the board. This location used to feel reliable; now it feels neglected.

This is my least favorite location so far. The store has all the usual great products but the layout design and set up are not enjoyable. There is a huge line that goes all around the store. It’s way too many people. Plus the parking here is difficult to find. If you have a chance, go to another location.

Good overall deals if the items you're looking to get are actually on the shelves. Everything goes quickly. It feels like everyone is rushing in this store to get in and out. The items are placed wherever lol. No rhyme or reason to the store. The frozen food is pretty good. And price wise affordable on most items.

Prices on some of the items are reasonable, employees are friendly and helpful. They're always re-stocking if the shelves are empty. Store can be overly crowded but the lines move quickly. Remember, pack your patience.

I haven't visited this Traders Joes location in a while and a lot has changed. It is packed as usual, however if I remember correctly there once was signs that provided direction for the aisles (not any more). Reasonable NYC prices and those great must have items that you can only find at Trader Joe's including my all time favs "Everything But The Leftovers Seasoning Blend," "Soft and Juicy Mango," and "Mandarin Orange Chicken." The bright collection of flowers and Seasonal Poinsettias are everywhere. There's also a bakery on-site. I had a bit of a kerfuffle with my card and the cashier was extremely friendly. I need to visit more often, definitely worth the trip.

I'm very baffled about how many good reviews this location has. This market is a NIGHTMARE! I had the most HORRIFIC experience here a few moments ago for my first and last time here. The location is on a BUSY street with LOTS of congestion and lack of parking. Once you enter, there is no one there to greet you or direct you to where the shopping carts are located. The location is PACKED with individuals shopping for the same items as you which causes lots of bumping into people. The isles are narrow and are not labeled to specify the various categories. There are no workers to assist you with searching or locating items that you desire within the isles . The lines are extremely LONG! I like markets such as Stop and Shop & Lincoln Market much better. I like peace and quiet when shopping at the market in order to concentrate on the items I need to get. I also like to be in and out as quickly as possible when going on a Market Run. I know for certain that I will not be back here ever again. This is a poor excuse for a market. A total disgrace and despicable place/location. I'm disgusted. Never again.

Gorgeous location, conveniently located on court street across from Buzzy, cannabis dispensary! TJ's delivers on their promise of affordable grocery variety with exceptional service. I come here 4-5 times a week to pick up my favorite essentials such as their $2 ginger shot, $.29 bananas.

Today I checked out this Trader Joe's downtown Brooklyn and I must say I'm impressed. The line was so long and wrapped around the store but it moved really fast and I reached the cashier in no time. I was able to find what I came for and a few impulse buys. Store is clean and organized and the same wonderful Trader Joe's customer service.

Trader Joe's is one of those places people love because it's fun, affordable, and full of unique seasonal finds, and this Court St location really leans into that. It's always busy, and parking around here is notoriously tough with constant traffic in that intersection, but somehow the store still makes it work. They offer a great variety in a smaller space, keep things stocked as best they can, and the staff is consistently helpful and knowledgeable. I love the smaller shopping carts, but I also somehow always end up spending more than I planned because everything looks tempting. Between the friendly energy and all the fun seasonal products, it's easy to see why people are so obsessed with Trader Joe's.

Trader Joe's on Court Street in Brooklyn is one of my favorite grocery stops in the neighborhood. Conveniently located in the heart of Cobble Hill, it's easy to get to whether you're walking or taking public transit. The building itself has a bit of charm and history it used to be a bank, and some of those original architectural touches give the store a unique character you don't often see in a grocery store. The layout makes it easy to navigate, and I love the variety here from fresh produce and quality meats to frozen meals and unique snacks you can't find elsewhere. They do a great job keeping popular items stocked, and I often discover new products to try. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is usually smooth, even during busy hours. Overall, this location blends neighborhood history with the quality, selection, and value that make Trader Joe's a reliable favorite.

Really Cool Trader Joe's, Awesome Staff! The place was usually always packed, but the staff here had line organizers in place to keep things moving Well! Very Fast Paced Shopping, just how I like it! This Specific Location had a beautiful Artsy/Ceramic High Ceiling that was impressive to view, and admire the details during the short wait in line. The Staff at the many registers were Truly Friendly and knew how to keep a great conversation While Bagging. Loved shopping here.

Long lines as always. But they work very quickly to get you out and happy. Love this location when I'm in the area. I always over spend in Trader Joe's lol. Excellent location!

Mixed emotions about this location. While the food and products seem to always be fresh and are always stocked, the flow of the store and isles are over crowded. I've had my ankles ran over more times than I can count. The "cheese/meat" isle being the worst. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful location in an old bank, just not easily shop-able unless at a less crowded time. Additionally, while I find the cashiers have been great, service on the floor (if you can get any assistance) is just less than mediocre at best. I've overheard conversations go on and on between associates about their managers and hate for their job while customers ask them to please get out of their way, lol. On the plus side, the check out line does seem to go rather quick.

It's just so odd space and aisles are weirdly positioned. Does not feel like a Trader Joe's but I guess people are just happy to have access to it. I must say everyone is friendly enough for a New Yorker and thoughtful and they do have a system. You just have to roll with it. Food options look fresh.

So at the time of this Yelp I've only been to the nearest Trader Joe's three times and while my shopping needs are simple when I go there I decided to give it a whirl. Generally speaking I shop at the Foodtown on my corner based on proximity and that every purchase amounts to reward points. That being said there are a few items that I like from TJ's that found me heading there. It's on Court Street and Atlantic Avenue so a train and several blocks walk are on me since I don't have a car. Inside its a spacious place and everything is organized nicely. I found the staff to be super helpful on the visits that I made which was nice. They had an ample supply of signature items and I was there for their own branded sauces of the spicy nature along with some things to keep in the freezer for snacks. When its time to settle up with your items they have a whole section that is just cashiers and they signal each other so you are out the door before you know it. Depending on what the product is somethings will be higher while other lower. If you like their take on sauces and assorted treats then buy what you like as long as its within your means. Everything has risen in cost these days and the products from Trader Joe's are no exception to the rule. I'll be back but can't say when but I do look forward to it.

This Trader Joe's store is not as big as the other I been to, But they have what I needed. The place is well organized & clean. Staff is very friendly. Even tho the line to the cashier is long, but it move very quick. Yes, I would come back again.

This Trader Joe's is in a beautiful location. It's a local TJ's in Cobble Hill centrally located between Brooklyn Heights. The layout is not one of my favorites for Trader Joe's. Their flower section seems very small, and their cheese aisle is always super crowded., but what I do love most is the check out system. The line at this location never seems long. Check out is extremely efficient, and they always have more than 20 check out employees working. Also, every person that's ever checked me out at this Trader Joe's has been so lovely. Trader Joes stands out with friendly customer service.

It's a Trader Joe's. TJs is the best place on Earth! My only gripe is that the snack selection seems very limited compared to West Coast TJs. . . which very well may just be a function of the store not having as much space as they do in California. However. . . the chips and frozen food aisle leave a lot to be desired. Whereas other stores have a wide selection of different type of chips and interesting frozen items, this TJs largely carries the same stuff and a limited selection. I just wish we had more variety of chips and frozen foods -- otherwise, everything else is good. Another small gripe: stop changing the placement of things in the aisles! Every time I go there I can't seem to find something like garlic, shallots, or peppers because they get moved around.

Even everything at Trader Joe's has doubled in price. Roses used to be $5.99 a year or two ago are now $9.99 a which is nearly double in no time.

It's such a joy to visit this Trader Joe's on a weekly basis. Their staffs are mostly well trained and are professional & friendly. Based on my experience the best day/ time to visit this store are Tuesday - Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30am. I visit this store during those time and lines are usually non existent. Even if you visit this TJ on a busy day don't let the long line intimidate you because it goes so quickly. Im sure you have your own favorite items from TJ but for me one of the best items are flowers. They have a great selection of fresh / dry flowers at affordable prices which I get them weekly.

The experience here has always been good. Staff like Ms. Thelma has gotten to know me and as a result, I get a wave and "how are you" when visiting. It's a nice thing. Staff usually go out of their way to look up items when you ask but every now and again you run into one lazy worker who could care less on checking on items for you. Today, was such a day. This afternoon, I went over to one staff member who was busy chatting it up with one of his coworkers. I told the gentleman, that I was looking for "Lattemiele" cookies. Now if you know which ones I am talking about then you already know that this is a delicious cookie and quite often not in stock. The gentleman responded that they were not in stock and won't be getting them at least today. I walked away disappointed but something told me to check one last time. Lo and behold, I found the cookies. They were 16 packs. I was relived and also annoyed so I went looking for the clerk who had misled me. I did not find him but I saw his coworker who he was chatting with earlier; I asked her to pass on a message to him that he should not BS customers. If he did not know, just say so, not to misspeak. Anyway, I am happy with finding my favorite cookies but hope management would see this and encourage their staff to do better.

This is my first time visiting this location since moving back to Brooklyn--I was leaving Michaels and realized that Trader Joe's is close by. It was easy to locate the items I wanted--sometimes it's hard to locate things you want when you visit a store that you're unfamiliar with. It was crowded but there was no line. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I like the layout and the customer service was good. I would go back to this location again.

I've been coming to this location since they opened years ago and the quality of your experience will be pretty much the same each time. An absolutely beautiful building (formerly an ornate, historic bank) riendly employees, well stocked shelves and the occasional long line. The only issue is the produce, frozen and cool case items (soups, dips, etc.). It can be really spotty, like going to the section and there's a sign noting the items are not in stock for an indeterminate amount of time. Seasonal and popular items are often on the shelves, but you want to snag them quickly or it will definitely be a tiny sign on the listing (everyone knows this little tidbit, lol). I noticed they offer basket wipes and sanitizer when you enter, while still sanitizing your basket as you exit. Pretty decent.

writing this review now because it has been 48 hours and i have not been contacted by the store manager or anyone like corporate said they would ! I came in to do an exchange, I had the receipts and the items in tow, the cashier rang it all in and then called over someone to do approve , and while i didnt see that employees name ( short, frosted tips/ white blonde- bleached hair) He became very aggressive very quickly saying whats going on here whats the problem? And the cashier told him its a return he looks at the items looks at me, and goes whats wrong with the items and i said i didnt like them, and he goes alot of these are unopened hard to not like something you didnt try ( mind u it was 2 items, everything else was opened, ) he said ill let it slide this time but ill need a receipt next time, i said the receipts are in the bag to which he then threw his hands up and walked away. Initially i was under the impression " no questions asked" and it was via the policy/ honor system, and in any event if any item is unopened and its been less than a week that shouldnt even be a concern? Im writing this because the exchange felt stereotypical, racial, and micro aggressive, or at the least like someone who didn't want to do their job or someone who could use a refresher on policy, the cashier was fine, and I had actually called ahead on the phone and spoke to austin to ask about my returns before i even came.  The. Next day i called 1800 and Spoke to a rep telling them exactly this and she Agreed that this was handled Poorly, i asked her was there anything that i As a customer missed and she said no you called ahead, but then said oh the only thing we wont honor is if you "bought too much" or bought something on accident and now you want to return it, we don't honor that to Which i said i have not seen that posted anywhere / on the website and then she said Ill have the manager call you back in the next 24-48 hours the store leader over there is carlos, and like i stated at the top of this review it has been 48 hours and I have not been contacted when I was told I would, very disappointing , hope they can do better or at least different moving forward

The set up at this one is extremely confusing and I find this lo location rather hectic than the other one here in Brooklyn. Other than that it's pretty well stocked and the lines go by fast.

This is one of my favorite Trader Joe's to shop at, mostly because the interior is gorgeous. Set up in an old bank building, the high ceilings and large windows just make you feel like you're doing something fancier than your usual grocery shop. Shelves are pretty well-stocked (for the things they do have; can't blame the store for supply chain issues right now), and the people who work there are super friendly. The produce has been hit-or-miss (last time, the tomatoes at the bottom of our box were moldy, and all the zucchini packages that said keep refrigerated weren't), but I find that to be an issue at a lot of TJs and therefore not unexpected. The store can get really crowded, so I usually try to go during the week in the early afternoon when I can.

If there is one business that needs an update badly, it is Trader Joe's! I did not realize I wrote the first review 8 years ago. I continue to be a loyal customer all these years later. There is just something about Trader Joe's that I absolutely love. Their products are high quality and reasonably priced (operating under the Trader Joe's label allow them to do so; in addition to no delivery service), the staff are so courteous and helpful and I always find a new, unique food product to try. When the pandemic hit and we were on lockdown/apex, I stayed away for many months and missed Trader Joe's a lot. It took about 5 months to return. I was cautious but what I liked and still appreciate is that they take the pandemic seriously. They continue to limit capacity into the store, enforce facial coverings, offer hand sanitizer spritz on your hands upon entering and installed plexiglass at every register! This is all good but on some other occasions, I felt that the store itself was a bit crowded and social distancing was impossible while shopping in the aisles. Yes, the store is huge but I was concerned about my safety during those visits. Still, I can't help but appreciate TJ for all that it offers. Some of my favorite food items are: Seafood--fresh or frozen and good quality. Love the Swordfish Tabouli hummus--a recent discovery for me and unique--like having both at once Sweet and spicy pepper jelly Cheese--such an extensive wonderful variety. Try their Syrah cheese, made with real wine Packaged and cooked, grilled chicken Mozzarella log, 16 ounces for $4.99 Seasonal ciders--I tried cranberry this past Autumn Chocolates--all of it---haha. I particularly liked their chocolate covered orange slices Frozen mocha--yum in one word Lemongrass chicken rolls (frozen)--tastes as though you're eating them in a Thai restaurant Samosas (frozen)--they had a limited pumpkin variety recently. And may I add--very good Mango chutney--authentic Olive oil--EVOO, 1L at $6.99--a continued favorite and wonderful value. Oh and fresh flowers. I only buy them at TJ and have recently started combining the bouquets, making my own arrangements. Everything else! I have an affinity for Trader Joe's Thank you for being in my neighborhood.

We like going to Trader Joe's when we want to try something new. Most recently, we bought multi colored carrots and ginger beer. Both were good. We like the variety of produce, plants, and other grocery items at this store. Friendly and helpful staff.

I'm a loyal shopper at Trader Joe's. The prices are better than most grocery stores. I love the seasonal items especially fall and winter. They always have something new to try and fall in love with. The staff is always so kind and courteous. Thank goodness for Trader Joe's!

I don't know why the man I spoke to on the phone was not very friendly or helpful in holding an item for me there. I have called probably all Trader Joe's in NYC who all say they are able to hold items for you. He claimed the item I wanted was a limited quantity item and for that reason he cannot hold. When I'm fact all other Trader Joe's I have called in NYC and other states ENCOURAGE you to call ahead of time to make sure that they can hold that "limited item" for you. I don't understand why he was not willing to do what all other Trader Joe's are willing to do for their customers. Even after letting him know that I've called previously and that they are about to hold "limited items" he said he they're not supposed to do that and was going to have a talk with everyone there...... lol

I've been coming here for years! ... Absolutely terrific prices! Their store brand items didn't seem as good quality to me as the higher end companies, such as the Prosciutto and smoked salmon etc. There was a visibly obvious difference to me personally, but the price was still very good. ... The selection is VAST! Their prices can't be beat, and their customer service is wonderful. I like the transparency of their groceries. There are two private restrooms, and a stroller/ wheelchair ramp to enter as well. I am very happy as a customer

This Trader Joe's is located at such a beautiful location but the layout of the store is definitely something else especially when its crowded on a weekend. It only gets a little difficult when the lines are forming in the aisles. Despite the long check out lines on the weekend, the staff are always seen diligently monitoring and guiding the line for a seamless experience. There is a decent selection of food items and overall friendly staff.

The team here is awesome, but one of their team members truly stood out. Upon checking out this past Monday, Tawanda assisted me, but it more ways than one. Her warmth, smile and patience was exactly what I needed in that very moment. I felt as if I was the only customer at this location. Sometimes we need a boost & she provided just that. Thank you Tawanda for listening to me ramble about me rationalizing my purchase. Being nice goes a long way!!! I'll see you guys again next Monday!!!

Was in there earlier tonight and left very quickly because of so many folks inside unmasked. A large group of 20-30 women were shopping together -- literally none of them were wearing masks. At least 3 trader joe employees were not wearing masks. I feel bad for the employees who don't want to be around unmasked folks but need to work there.

I really liked this store. Large selection of delicious and healthy products. Professional staff ready to help you immediately. I put 10 stars.

I always go to this TJ bc it's the closest grocery store near me. It's always well organized. Sometimes they run out of products / don't have in stock like boneless chicken thigh and ginger but it's fine I'm able to find everything I need most of the time. The staff is always kind and helpful. It can get crowded but the line always goes quickly. Oh and the flowers and plants. So fresh and beautiful, sooo affordable. I love getting my weekly fresh flowers here. No need to spent $80 on a bouquet. Just make your own for $10 with TJ flowers.

Why is it a problem when I pay for my items with a $100 bill? Then tell me they are waiting on change. So they can check the bill? Even when the cashier opens up the register and already had enough in the till for my change

I thought it was silly the first time I wrote a review for a grocery store. But here I am doing it for the umpteenth time. 2018 = year of crazy, y'all. Back to my baby TJ's tho!!! Man, I love this place. For how busy it gets (which is like ALL the time), the employees here are so friendly and the checkout is efficient. It's clean as can be for a place unloading and breaking down boxes repeatedly. I come for my weekly groceries, love me a free sample, and I love how the level of A/C when we are otherwise melting outside. Stay cool, TJ's! xoxo

** NOT A SAFE PLACE TO SHOP RIGHT NOW ** I just left a whole cart full of food and walked out because this place was so crowded, the lines for the cashiers snaking around the store and zero distancing going on. Talked to two staff members who just didn't care. So frustrating and disappointing. I should have taken a photo, but was too annoyed. Someone please remind these folks we are still in a pandemic?? amazing foods ，great price. Always can find nice foods here. Even there was busy all the time, the line moved so fast. The staffs were so kind. Feel like they all enjoy their jobs.

I think I come here for the people lol I've been here you're nervous going here only because there are a lot of people going inside the store at once . I liked it more when they allowed a certain amount in at a time , a lot more comfortable . What I will say is the staff is super kind and really nice. They always have the things I need in stock and that always makes me happy . So I would be cautious and just get in and get out . Writing a list also helps me get in and out. Be safe out here y'all

Complicit. A customer harassed me today while waiting in line. This old white guy was verbally abusive and physically aggressive. Nobody intervened. The staff just looked. They all watched the show. Completely COMPLICIT.

i have shopped here since it opened and lately the customer service is terrible. A lot of new hires that are untrained and unmotivated. The workers that have been there for several years are wonderful but i have noticed a lot of turnover. Im not sure if the problem stems from management but i hope they are aware and improve

I love this store they have anything...and everything you need at a reasonable cost. It's cheaper than Whole Foods and a great place to buy anything from produce to spices.. and household needs. Staff is really efficient and lines move very quickly. Highly recommend shopping here. AVOID COMING ON WEEKENDS. I've seen it so bad to the point where people have waited outside the door in order for them to perform crowd control. Weekdays mid day even though not ideal has the shortest lines and emptiest store.

I'm not really one to rave about any grocery store, nor about any sort of chain...but Trader Joe's is kind of great. You can just buy a whole load of tasty groceries at a good price. Everything is fresh and cheap. I went in on a Saturday, so the line was a bit long, but it moved amazingly quickly, and along the way, a nice lady gave me a tiny little cup of tasty turkey chili! With cheddar and sour cream! I love her. The staff is almost weirdly nice. And I like that they list their hometowns on their nametags. The cashier humored me when I talked about how a good friend of mine was also from Norfolk, VA. as well. Me: Hey! My buddy Reed is from Norfolk. Him: Reed. I'll be sure to look him up next time I go home. Me: Right, sorry. I'll go kill myself.* My girlfriend's purse was in our cart, blocking him from ringing up some of the groceries. Me: Oh, just throw my purse out of the way. Him: (unsmilingly) OK. (my girlfriend comes over and grabs the purse) Him: (looks up) That's not really your purse? Good to know that I look like a guy that carries a purse. _________ *I may not have said that.

How Trader Joe's managed to score this historic bank building is beyond me, but I'd be hard pressed to deny the fact I wasn't charmed by it. Atypical in every way, this TJ's makes me wish there was something like it in Queens. It might just be my favorite TJ's anywhere. Like all others, the bank version of TJs has reasonably priced organic stuff, killer customer service and an abundance of inventory. Due to the venue, it's also one of the more spacious TJ's with wider aisles and easy to read layout. So what's not to like? For starters, the crowds. The queues can get a bit much sometimes, but the weekend lines are daunting for first time visitors. Try to avoid the rush hour of grocery shopping, which is basically any time 5pm. Shoot for a week day if at all possible and get an idea of all the things you'll need (i.e. a list) because casual browsers may end up here longer than they want.

Trader Joe's is a chain of specialty food stores originally from Monrovia, California. As of 2013 they now have 408 stores nationwide. One of these stores is in Cobble Hill in Brooklyn. You can find most of the day to day things that you need here, from cooking ingredients, frozen aperitif, nibbles, breakfast meals, fresh flowers and orchids, veggies and fruits. Most items are frequently replenished, but for something a little bit more exotic maybe look some place else. The one thing that really stands out here are the staff. They excel in customer service. Try to avoid coming here on weekends if you value your personal space. It can get very crowded anytime during the day. The queue can snake all the way to Atlantic Avenue. In fairness, the staff work tirelessly to ease the long line. My only disappointment from this store is that, they do not sell wine. You will have to go to the specialty Union Square branch to get some.

Since I come here almost every week to shop, this review is about some of the TJ products I tried: TJ shampoo: *- - - - just not good at all TJ soap: * * * *- very good! I particularly dig the green tea soap TJ antiplaque toothpaste (fennel, propolis & myrrh): * * * - - just ok; I like my toothpaste with a stronger taste. TJ toilet paper: * * - - - it falls apart...enough said TJ rice pudding/tapioca pudding: * * * *- a bit heavy, but certainly addictive TJ belgian chocolate mousse: * * * * * this stuff is dangerous! TJ cereals (organic raisin bran clusters, pomegranate and blueberry, vanilla almond clusters): * * * *- Quinoa: * * * * - who knew quinoa was this good, and this easy to cook? Cous cous: * * * * - Fresh fruit: * * * * * excellent selection at great prices. I particularly like the Fuji apples and the bananas ($0.19 each!) Fresh veggies: * * * * - same as fruit. I wish they would sell smaller bags of onions (single onions by weight anyone?) Frozen veggies: * * * * * great veggie medleys, like the vegetable melange in butter sauce; very good asparagus spears, peas, etc... Absolutely LOVE Trader Joe's! Great selection of fruits and vegetables with the best prices. They carry such a large variety of breads. Also a very large variety of dairy and non-dairy products. They have goat yogurt, which is sooo much better than cows milk yogurt. The service is always good and the shelves are always stocked and their stores are always clean.

I'm catering for a friend's film and I went after work, which is pretty late. I ended up filling my cart to the top; it was a LOT to deal with. The person who rang me up, Fortune, was incredibly patient and kind. We packed up all the groceries and he walked me outside to my car to help me put the groceries in. Truly a great experience. I do apologize for going that close to close, though.

Best supermarket ever! I recently started shopping here and I can not beleive that it has taken me this long to step foot in this place. Why has no one put me on to Joes long ago? Shame on everyone. For those that do not know: 1. The majority of the items are organic and if you need gluten free, vegetarian, or Kosher selection you will find it. 2. Very inexpensive. I recently left with four or five huge bags for 80 bucks..try that at your local market. 3. Wide variety of unique and very tasty items not found elsewhere. 4. They do cool things such as raffles for free shopping, will bring your bags to your car if needed, and coolest of all...if you buy something you do not like simply return it..no questions asked. Tips: 1. If you are seeking big brand labels loaded with preservatives and what not..go elsewhere..not found here. 2 Do not worry about huge lines wrapping around the store as they move faster than any lines you may have been in.

Holy crap...a TJ's within the five boroughs that didn't have a line wrapping around the store 15 times? SURELY YOU KID? WHAT FRESH SORCERY IS THIS? In fact...there was NO LINE AT ALL! (I vaguely recall coming in here once on a Saturday and it was a zoo as per usual.) Of course the fact that it was 11:30am on a Tuesday probably had something to do with it...I had an appointment in the area and decided to take advantage of the off hour to pick up some things. I also like the architecture here...since once upon a time it was a bank the ceilings are vaulted and it seems light and airy. The configuration is a little weird vs. other TJs but easy enough to figure out.
