Why Grocery Stores Like H-E-B, Wegmans, and Publix Inspire Devotion | Eater

"Known less for any single product than for its people, this chain has a reputation for employing unusually friendly staff who run registers and stock aisles, creating a warm, neighborly culture where customers feel welcomed and recognized." - Martha Daniel

America’s Grocery Stores Are Doing Bulk Food All Wrong | Eater

"A national grocery chain that publicly pledged to cut plastic in its stores, initially setting a one-million-pound reduction target for 2019 and then rolling out changes—such as biodegradable flower bags and recyclable meat trays—that the chain estimated would eliminate about four million pounds of plastic per year, though critics note these moves often swap one kind of packaging for another rather than eliminating packaging altogether." - Karine Vann

The Best Food at Trader Joe’s Is Everything But the Bagel Sesame Seasoning | Eater

"The Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend is celebrated as an easy shortcut to everything-bagel flavor without mixing individual ingredients. Versatile and chef-approved, it elevates creamy spreads like cream cheese, tzatziki, or hummus (often sprinkled on top and finished with a little olive oil), and also works well on carbs such as pita or crackers, roasted vegetables with a crema or sour cream, and avocado-based snacks. It’s prized for convenience and snacking—an effortless way to make simple dishes more interesting when there isn’t time to cook." - Marian Bull

Easy Dinner Party Dessert Made With Store-Bought Pie Dough: Crostatas | Eater

"A widely available grocery chain favored as a convenient shortcut for pre-made pie dough; Mendoza’s mother turned to this option to avoid the laborious process of making dough from scratch. Mendoza endorses using store-bought crusts for home entertaining when they’re dressed up—rolling the dough in sugar, applying an egg wash and extra sugar, adding a layer of almond cream and ripe fruit, finishing with citrus zest or streusel—so desserts feel homemade while keeping the process low-stress." - Morgan Goldberg

My favorite grocery store. Ryan is always so kind to me when I visit and they always make my day brighter. The flower selection is awesome and this store is always well stocked. We love this place!

Google
I've been to Trader Joe's a few times now, and while the product selection, staff, and prices are all great, there are a couple of things to be aware of. The store itself is small and very clean, with an excellent variety of products. The staff are always friendly and super helpful, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience. I also appreciate that the prices are quite reasonable. My main issue is the parking lot. It's really small for the number of shoppers, which can make finding a spot during peak hours a real challenge. The store can also feel a bit cramped when it's busy, making it somewhat difficult to find what you're looking for. Despite the parking and space issues, the great products and friendly staff make me want to come back.

Google
This is my favorite place to get spices. I've recently moved here from Arizona and I was happy to see that Michigan had a Trader Joe's. All of the staff was friendly. A customer secretly bought me a bouquet of flowers and had one of the cashiers give them to me. Maybe she could tell I was having a bad day. Now it's my turn to pay it forward

Google
Trader Joe’s is one of our favorite stores. They sell some of our favorite items that you can only get there. Workers are all really friendly and helpful. The Trader Joe’s items are top notch, veggies are fresh, and a really good gluten free selection. Wish they would open a store closer to us, but for now it’s worth the drive!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Germaine from the Trader Joe's in Northville, and can't say enough about the exceptional service. I was planning a flower bar for my niece's bridal shower and needed guidance on everything from budgeting to flower selection. Germaine went above and beyond to help me through the entire process. She took the time to understand my vision and helped me choose the right types and quantities for flowers to stay within my budget while still creating a beautiful display. She made sure the flowers would be available on my selected date and keep everything organized for a smooth pickup. On the day of pickup, Germaine personally walked me through the the checkout process and even helped load my car. Her kindness, attention to detail, and professionalism truly make the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Not only was the service outstanding, but the flowers themselves were absolutely beautiful and lasted a very long time. Trader Joe's is known for its great products and friendly service, Germaine exemplifies customer are at its best. I will definitely be back for future events, thanks to her outstanding support!

Google
They have decent food options, but the shopping experience/atmosphere is always off putting in my opinion. The space feels small for how many people are usually shopping. I'm not sure if it's the patrons or the space, but there is a general feeling of pretentiousness that comes from this store. The food options, especially for someone with dietary restrictions are great however and are what bring me back to this particular franchise. The staff at this location were also very friendly and kind.

Google
We had a great experience with the Northville Trader Joe's store. Germaine, the flower manager, and Sarah helped us to set up the perfect bouquet bar for a shower. Germaine helped us select the best varieties and had the order ready when we arrived to pick them up. Sarah got us through the checkout line super fast. Would recommend this store for anyone looking for flowers.

Google
I love the service of Trader Joe's I just wish they carried more allergen friendly foods so I could phase out Whole Foods. Trader Joe's prices are so much better.

Yelp
My happy place!! I love this location so much. Was here a week (ish) ago and got to try a sample the Toscano cheese w/ chili onion crunch. I bought one then & just bought another today!! I also love their sweet crunch lettuce & shredded brussels. GREAT really cheap wine deals. Some for less than $5.
google avatar

Yelp
Trader Joe's has the best snacks. I always go when I'm on the mainland. I'll bring back a bag full of goodies. Maybe one day they'll open in Hawaii. I like to get cookies, chocolates, instant coffee, soaps and candles. Sometimes, I'm out of luck if the item is seasonal. I notice that the setup for all Trader Joe's are similar and they carry the same products. What's different is that every store has a different mascot. The one at this location is a monkey named Coco. If you tell the cashier that you found the mascot they will give you a lollipop. Some checkouts give out lollipops anyway.

Yelp
Love this location! The parking isn't the best since there are multiple other businesses that share the plaza but on the bright side, this particular Trader Joe's is always stocked and very neat! If you don't see the item you're looking for the workers go out of their way to see if there is any more in the back stock room. My kindergartener loves coming here as well because the workers are really friendly and engaging.

Yelp
My daughter is obsessed with the frozen Chicken Tikka Masala, we come every week to stock up. Today we were lucky enough to find the Kimbap roll that has been tending on TikTok, so I'm looking forward to trying that. This location is my favorite in the metro Detroit area, the staff is always friendly and they are nearly always fully stocked.

Yelp
This has to be the best time of the year to visit Trader Joe's. Their seasonal items are really great pick ups especially if you're a fan of Autumn. Being as it's fall it's all about the pumpkin right now they have it in a wide variety of groceries. Pie's , muffins, waffles, cookies, cheesecake, and many more. Of course they're are actual pumpkins as well, and being as I love me some pumpkins, I picked up a few things. In addition TJ has some items I tend to rebuy a lot and while this is not food, their coconut body butter is one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled in my life. An instant rebuy whenever I run out. The staff here are very kind and they always go out of their way to make conversation. Parking can be a little cramped but I suggest going during the week and not the weekends. An overall great spot.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience here, quite the opposite! I love stopping here, until I check out! I always end up with far more in my cart than I planned on. The best thing is that if I don't love it I can return it. The staff are always super helpful and very cheerful. They will go out of their way to help you. The food is high quality and the amount of vegetarian friendly items is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Yelp
There's a lot of great finds at this Trader Joe's. We have been going for their fall snacks. We especially really liked their cinnamon coffee cake muffins - not only were they gluten free, but they were also the moistest muffins I've ever had. They were absolutely delicious. Their pumpkin spice cookies were also super indulgent - they were crispy, sweet, with creamy frosting. But the absolute star of the show was the Pumpkin Caramel Danish Kringle with smooth pumpkin filling inside buttery pastry topped with sweet frosting and chopped walnut. Incredibly delicious and perfect with coffee. I'd get this again any day.

Yelp
Before I moved out on my own, I lived only 10 mins away from this TJ's but never shopped here living with my parents. Now that I moved out and live alone, I struggle with what to cook for myself so I mainly come for their freezer section products which is a LIFE SAVER for me. Saves me time and the hassle of shopping for ingredients and figuring out what to cook every week. I also love their snacks and am always trying their new and seasonal products. If you've yet to hop on the TJ train, you're missing out! I think TJ's is great for single people, couples or small families. I think it can get a bit pricey when trying to shop/cook for a larger family. Also, I've never had an issue with finding parking here and I usually go between 11:30-2pm on the weekends. Items are always in stock and staff is friendly and helpful.

Yelp
The hype and quirkyness isn't there , cashiers are rude and never smile or make eye contact.. not impressed.. first time , last time ..

Yelp
Nice bigger Trader Joe's than ours in the RO. We stocked up on some unsalted nuts to mix with my favorite wild blueberries from here. Grabbed some berries for morning detox. Picked up some pomelo fruit and some coconut and almond milk creamer for morning coffees. The pomelos were a bit soft and older, it was hard to find any that weren't too mushy. Grabbed a couple of dried mango bars for our dessert since we can't eat much during lent. The mango barely fills half of the package. Tasted decent, a few hard parts of the bar.

Yelp
Although this location is in the middle of a shopping center, I was surprised at the easy access. Lanes were wide and the adjacent restaurant, Rusty Bucket, did not overtake the parking lot. Squeaky clean from the newness of the store, and glad to have another pleasant shopping location.

Yelp
I have been shopping here for sooo many years. I'm actually embarrassed to see that I never reviewed it. It is definitely a drive for me. I do wish they had closer locations. Maybe it's a blessing to my back account that it's not. First, I love Trader Joes for all the healthy food items they carry. Pricing and good quality products. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Over the holidays I was looking for a nice Champagne and had no trouble finding an expert in the area to point me in the right direction. That is pretty much the case no matter what you need. Definitely miss the samples and the Wine tastings they used to offer. They have great wine and wine pricing as well. Even some great beers. Trader Joe's is great for people like myself who have food allergies or those just looking for affordable healthy products.. Most do not consist of unhealthy additives or high fructose corn syrup. Of course there are a few exceptions I've noticed more of lately so check your labels. I love their Cheese selection. I often stop in just to pick up some of my favorites. Brie, Burrata, Gorgonzola to babe a few. Of course I always need Parmesan. I do wish there Parmesan didn't contain cellulose though. I was a bit shocked by that. Their sparkling waters are always on my shopping list. Ginger Lemon is my favorite. I love so many of them. Lately, it's a bit disappointing how many of my favorite products they have stopped carrying. The Dark Russet Chips, their Dark Chocolate Batons w/dried Raspberries or Espresso Beans and not a lot of other ingredients. I always had these on hand. Truly sad they no longer have these. Lastly, their Organic Frozen Pizza Crusts. I always had these in the freezer. I make homemade pizza for friends and these made things so easy for me. I hope they find a similar product to replace these

Yelp
I have always loved Trader Joe's, seriously since I was a little one going with my mom! So it's probably no surprise I'm giving them a 5 star review. The employees are always kind, upbeat, and quick. Their brand items and foods are SO good. Even the frozen foods are incredible and the vegan/vegetarian selections are unbeatable, in my opinion. I did give myself food poisoning once from the green chile and cheese tamales, but that was 110% my fault for letting them thaw too much and then taking them to work before making them later that day. Facepalm, right? (To be clear, I still recommend trying them lol) Most recent visit was yesterday and their produce is cheaper and looks better than most other grocery stores around me right now!

Swag M.

Yelp
Holy shit I love trading Joe's!! First. Off! I love the price of what I have to pay. There's a few cowboys in my cavior ‼ 2 buck chuck no more it's the four !!!!! THAT price could be better... but changing my 5 review I have not been paid by Trader Joe's corporate office nor their advertisement or PR

Yelp
My favorite place to grocery shop. Great prices, great goods. Love TJ's produce, wine, and frozen foods. I am always amazed by how much I save by shopping here. I walk out of Kroger with 3 things for $30 and I can walk out of TJ with a full paper bag full of food for the week for the same price. Great service here everyone is so friendly and incredible. Always giving recommendations and letting me know how to prepare certain items. I love it!
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Drove almost 40 minutes, got here at 5:58 and they turned me away and wouldn't let me purchase the one thing I needed after I wasted gas and time driving a long way. I asked if I could please run in and just purchase the one item and they said nope. Lots of people were inside the store still shopping. Very disappointed. The girl at the door was pretty rude about it. Customer service has really went downhill since they moved across the street. All new people working there. It's not the Trader Joe's it used to be sadly
google avatar

Yelp
LOVE this store! The employees are always outgoing, helpful and friendly! Such a great variety of products offered at reasonable prices.

Yelp
I have mad respect for the culture that exists in this particular store. No one wants to wait in line terribly long, so patrons know not to browse like the pandemics not happening. I went a day before Christmas Eve and the line was still out the door (and will continue to be) rain or shine. There's two staffers by the front door who sanitize shopping carts and allow one patron in once one exits. The store is well stocked, organized and clean. There is always someone out and about to direct you to find what you're looking for, or talk about the item you've never tried. I think this is an idea holiday spot because you can get flowers for loved ones, baked goods if you don't have time to make it yourself... orrrrrrrr buy one of their blondie mixes and whip something up within the hour. (Their boxed mixes for this kind of thing are the bomb). They have specialty crates of wine, organic food, fresh produce, so much cheese, teas, snacks... they pretty much have everything you need in one stop. I do miss their sample station but understand why it's shut down. But hey I can't complain about the chocolates they displayed in it's place. It's almost like they are saying.. "I know... we miss you too... here, look at some candies and chocolate to make up for it- but they aren't free...sorry!" I also miss shopping here with my son. He's two and he's always waving to the clerks and in return gets stickers and lots of laughs. The lady recognized me with a mask yesterday and gave me some stickers to take home to my boy. They were humungous holiday stickers. We used them for Santa's letter today because he doesn't know how to read or write... but that gesture was really nice. I love it here. Rain or Shine, I'll be in line waiting my turn to get in. :)

Yelp
I ventured out to this location. It was not my favorite, but I love TJ's! While it seems like a bigger location, the set up was not as intuitive or user friendly as other locations. They did not have all of the cold foods in one uniform section, it was split up in several non nonsensical locations. The frozen food was also split up in two sections as well instead of all together. This did not make sense. Plus some of the items were so frozen, I did not purchase them because they seemed like they would be freezer burned and not the typical quality. The other departments also seemed to be put together in a weird way. Products that typically go together were oddly placed in different isles, making it hard to navigate this store. It was hard to find what I typically buy. Not a good use of the massive space they moved to. As always, the people who worked here were amazing and helpful. Top notch customer service. That level of treatment keeps me coming back. I did manage to find many items, but they were out of a few things. I do not blame them. This is typical, but I was not able to get my brioche break or sour swimmers. They will restock soon, they gave me some dates when to visit again. I did find some great beer finds! I come to TJ's for my singles and enjoy a good variety. I found some things I haven't found at other locations, but that does not mean they currently don't have them. Not sure I would frequent this location, but I am not opposed to visiting again either.

Yelp
I've always loved Trader Joe's for everything that is Trader Joe's. This location is no exception. Good stuff + good people. If you've been to a Trader Joe's before, you'll know what to expect. This location is always pretty busy, but doesn't even compare to the insanity of the Royal Oak location. Finding a parking spot nearby can be hit or miss, but luckily there's an entire strip/plaza full of parking spots! I do appreciate all the extra precautions that they are taking right now in response to the coronavirus- only letting so many people in the store at a time, social distancing, gloves & face masks, only using every other register, plexiglass shields for the people working the registers, paper bags only, etc. I do feel safe getting groceries here. Thank you Trader Joe's team! You rock! P.S. veggie/ vegan friends - if you are looking for the canned jackfruit, this location has got it!
google avatar

Russell H.

Yelp
Rude cashiers that insist things don't exist that we have bought before. Wouldn't be upset if not for the fact the cashier was so adamant that such a product never existed!

Yelp
This newer location of Trader Joe's in Northville is WAY better than the previous incarnation a bit further north on Haggerty at 8 Mile. First off, the location is not the nightmare that that intersection can be. Also the parking is far more plentiful (still not great, I hate the parking lot at this shopping center but it's better than the previous location) and the shop itself is newer, cleaner, and much much more spacious than before. Older TJs can make me kind of claustrophobic but this one feels comfortable. Staff is pleasant and it's conveniently located near the 7 Mile exit off 2-75, which makes it easy to swing by if you're passing through the area. I usually stop in for a few items when I take my grandma to her doctor's appointments at the UofM clinic in the adjacent complex. It's stocked similarly to other Trader Joe's so if you've been to one you know what to expect, so I won't get into too much detail on the products, but the layout of this shop makes finding them a breeze.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
This store is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries. There's always a unique item I find that I can't wait to try. The downside is that some of their items are seasonal so when you find something you like you need to jump on it. There are also many items I found that I love and buy repeatedly. Also, the customer service provided here is exceptional.
google avatar

Jonathan A.

Yelp
It's TRADER JOE'S!! I love it! Cheese here is awesome and they carry two buck Chuck, the best cheap wine I have ever tasted(it is now $3.99).
google avatar

Angela W.

Yelp
This could be one of my favorite locations from the 3 states that I've lived in that had them. The store still has that new feeling about it - is nice and open, different than the smaller, cramped locations that I've been to. The parking lot isn't a nightmare to get in and out of like the old location at 8 mile and Haggerty, and the one out here in Ann Arbor. The layout is a bit different, but the vibe is very relaxed and everything is easy to find. It's a bit of a drive for me to get to now, but whenever I'm in the area I always stop by. I wish it was there when I lived in Novi!
google avatar

Lindsey P.

Yelp
An employee was stocking fruit/vegetables while coughing (loudly) and wiping his nose and mouth with his BARE HANDS then proceeding to touch the food again... So disgusting and especially so during the Covid pandemic. I stopped shopping and mentioned this to a "manager" on my way out. He apologized and gave me flowers LOL Thanks, every time I looked at them, I remembered how I will not return to your store. GROSS
google avatar

Amethyst W.

Yelp
I do really love shopping at Trader Joe's, but I strongly dislike this parking lot here. It is absolutely crazy and it's not much of an improvement from their other location aside from the fear of losing your car in a sinkhole there. It's usually pretty busy here, but the parking lot is somehow even busier than inside. I think it's probably due to the plaza that it shares its space with. On the inside, it has all the usual goodness in food selection and when I'm not trying out restaurants I do love finding ideas from their flyers and making my own creations from their suggestions and produce. I do recommend this store, but not during the weekend or lunch/dinner rush hour where you're dealing with parking issues.
google avatar

Mary A.

Yelp
Note: Most employees are NOT masked. This store is great for reasonably priced specialty items and they often have good prices on wine.
google avatar

Vaishnavi S.

Yelp
This is the nearest TJ's to where we live and although its a bit of a drive we don't mind making the trip. Like with any TJ's we love the selection of snacks, breads and baked items, frozen food etc. What we love a bit more is the customer service here. With the current Covid situation a lot of care is being taken at the store to ensure only a fixed number of people enter the store at a time. Employees also take great care to ensure the carts are cleaned before the customers can take them. Steps like these makes for a more comfortable shopping experience in these pandemic times! Recently my toddler had her heart set of their frozen gyozos, unfortunately they were not in stock the day I went. One of the employees made sure to get my contact details, he knew they had stock coming in the next day. What's more, they promptly kept aside two packs and called the following day to let me know. With service like this we sure would keep coming back to this location!
google avatar

Morgan C.

Yelp
Trader Joe's is the best. My favorite frozen food is their sweet potato gnocchi (: they always have the best food prepackaged to go as well
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
Very small Trader Joe's for the area. . I am not vegan but dairy free. I needed some dairy free sour cream, a few misc items and was jonesing for some ice cream. They don't even carry dairy free sour cream so I knew I had to at least stop somewhere else on way home. The dairy free ice creams were boooiring flavors so I left without buying anything and went to Kroger.

Geri G.

Yelp
It's Trader Joe's what could be wrong. Great selections and customer service. I've tried new items and been pleased. Quality and freshness are great
google avatar

Cathy W.

Yelp
I love me some TJ's and have been to multiple locations- this one takes the cake as the biggest, cleanest, and friendliest! The aisles are super wide, so multiple carts can be in the same one without causing congestion for everyone. Their produce section is fantastic and has everything you'd ever want!! Every time we're in the area visiting family, we make sure to head to this store to stock up on everything we need!!

Rick K.

Yelp
Beautiful store - well laid out. Plenty of parking. Wish we had a TJ's in NE Georgia. Y'all are very fortunate.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Trader Joe's in Northville, Michigan today. I mentioned to the cashier, Anna that it was our 25th wedding anniversary and we were getting stuff to be quarantined at home. She told us to wait and came back with a bouquet of flowers for us. It made our day. Their customer service is always wonderful there, but this time they really went above and beyond. Thank you so much, Anna! We are still smiling.
google avatar

Andrea E.

Yelp
They were really nice to me at this Trader Joe's. I recently had ACL reconstruction surgery and I needed to pick up a few things so I went there on crutches... I only had one light bag and I would have been fine but they insisted on carrying it out to my car for me, which was thoughtful. I love the 3.99 bouquets because they're such a good deal and I pick up stuff from the fearless flyer fairly frequently. My only complaint is how extremely crowded it is every time I come in here - I haven't found that sweet window of time where everyone isn't in everyone's way yet.
google avatar

Nathasja T.

Yelp
What is there not to love about Trader Joe's? I appreciate their fresh fruit and produce section with its abundance of organic options, at super affordable prices. I buy all of my nuts and seeds here, and some other staple pantry items like coconut milk and fire roasted green chiles. You know what's also pretty great, here? Their flowers. When I moved tot the US from the Netherlands (the flower capital of the world), I nearly had a heart attack when I saw how expensive flowers are on this side of the world. Not at Trader Joe's. Normal prices for pretty flowers without breaking the bank. I am also a huge fan of their greeting cards. If you see one that you particularly like you may want to stock up, they rarely get a second shipment of the same one.. they constantly bring in new designs. Most recently I discovered their hand soap (lavender/chamomile) and it is so fragrant and nice. Random, I know. I think the prices here are on par with other stores, if not less expensive. Aside from their own brands, they do carry some name brand items such as Dubliner and Boursin cheeses, Spindrift seltzer water, RX/Epic/Clif bars etc. While this shiny, new, standalone building is nice, I don't think there's a huge difference between this new location and it's older version a mile up the road. In my view there was nothing wrong with the old one, except for perhaps the parking situation and getting in & out of the plaza at the busy 8 mile/Haggerty intersection. Spoiler alert, the parking part did not improve one bit.. probably because TJ's is in a plaza with 6 or 7 restaurants that draw crowds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Favorites: coconut milk, speculaas filled chocolate bars, TJs raspberry-lime seltzer water, organic blueberries, spicy Italian chicken sausages, chicken chili-lime burgers and their large variety of nuts and nut butters.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's anytime- but I went today for the first time since the covid19 quarantine. They were open before their posted time, two people greeted me so warmly. The store was totally stocked. It was super clean and they allowed only a certain amount of people in at a time. It was fantastic! I love that team and that store. Thank you to all the staff !

Kari R.

Yelp
The employees there are beyond nice and helpful!!! I don't like that they don't always have the same things in stock a lot and it's far, but the employees are the best!! They are always so willing to help! We need one in Commerce.

Yelp
I really love Trader Joe's but I don't have one near me, be so when I venture out and see one, I stop. This location is really nice, but omg the parking lot is terrible and there are so many people I couldn't really look at anything. It was awful. I just grabbed a few things and checked out.

Michele S.

Yelp
This review is probably biased because I'm a foodie and a Trader Joe's fan from way back. I usually go to the Bloomfield Hills one that's closer to my neighborhood, but I was at MOD Pizza here in Northville yesterday and wanted to stop by to see the new store. The store that was formerly in the Aubree's Pizza plaza on Haggerty has relocated, and this is the result - a bigger store with much more parking, which is great. It reminds me a lot of the Bloomfield store, but this one is "backwards," as my parents say - when you walk in, the layout is different than the former store. I was on my way to a movie so I bought a few non-perishables - their spiced apple cider (try it warm, it's so delicious - though I wish they carried their winter honeycrisp cider all-year round, it's fantastic), and also a grinder of their garlic salt, which I think will be amazing on steaks and maybe chicken that I cook. Service is as friendly as always, as well, and it wasn't very crowded when we went, although it was around 6pm on a Wednesday night. I'll be back to this location when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Always great food, addicted to the lemon basil salad, and their seasonal selections are always a pleasant surprise!! So glad there is no longer a line to get in, and covid things are back to normal! The best part though, is that everyone is always so friendly here, they have the greatest staff! Today- Ben and the young lady helping him bag at the check out were so kind and pleasant, it's like shopping with friends here :) Thank you for making my day a little bit better! You all deserve a raise for being extra awesome people! :)

Yelp
I dig TJ's. It has a great selection of foods, great prices, and friendly staff. The issue with this place is the parking... NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ENOUGH. Besides that, this place would be top notch in my book.

Yelp
One of my favorite grocery stores for meats, produce and wine. The selection and price of these products is always just right. The new location is roomier both inside the store and in the parking lot. The store layout is the same. I like the friendliness of the cashiers and other employees. It makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

Yelp
Love this Trader Joe's. The new location on Traditions Dr. has more room and I like the layout a lot. You start with the produce and end with the wine. That's amore! Many times they have wine or food samples too! The flowers are so beautiful, fresh and super affordable. The produce is high quality and you can find all your gluten free, organic, free range and a variety of other goodies that are exclusive to TJ. The prices are considerably reasonable, and it's a very nice experience shopping there. The staff recognizes you and say hi, also they go out of their way to be super polite and professional. Lovely shopping experience. Plus they accept Apple Pay!

Yelp
Does not keep store hours. I drove maybe 15 mins to come to Trader Joe's, I like their stuff. I like how they advertise that their whole store is nongmo/organic. I love that actually. What I do not like is their inaccuracy in posted and online store hours. I came 25 mins before closing, but still. You take people. You don't shut down shop because it's inconsiderate for staff--it's inconsiderate for shoppers who have a life outside Shopping for groceries. PS the store is lit up and I'm the third person within a 5 minute time frame trying to come in. That is bad business. Idk post an * on your hours to which it is indicated that they don't take people before 25 mins of closing time. It would have saved me and others a drive.

Yelp
Well, my wife and I have certainly fallen in love with this place since moving to the area. We had driven by this location numerous times on our way to work and have heard coworkers rave about them for years. However, there wasn't a store in the are we moved from so we never had the opportunity to find out for ourselves how wonderful they are. Now, we do a majority of our grocery shopping now at Trader Joe's. We like the selection of foods they offer, which includes some items that you won't find at your local chain grocery store. Also, they offer a number of organic and fair trade items as well. The store is laid out nicely and even at peak times you don't feel rushed or cramped when walking down the aisles. The thing that surprised us the most is their prices. The first time we walked in we were expecting prices like those found at Whole Foods. To our delight, that wasn't the case. Instead, their prices are very budget friendly. Lastly, we have always found the workers to be helpful and accommodating. They are always engaging and seem to genuinely like their jobs. This helps to make the shopping experience that much more enjoyable. We would certainly recommend Trader Joe's to anyone.

Yelp
This was my second time coming to this location and I found it felt different than the other stores, a bit larger and probably not as homey feeling. But, I always get a little peeved when I am in the Bloomfield store, which moved from West Bloomfield, but only show a Bloomfield Lane and not a West Bloomfield lane! There is a difference between the too cities you know! However, the staff seemed very nice and willing to help out if I needed help. What hasn't been said about TJ's and their amazing products? I love the price of organic banana's, I love the boxed rice (Jasmine and both brown rice varieties), their yogurt tzatziki is so yummy, the individual chocolate chip bags are great for weight watchers out there, the meatless meatballs have fooled a many guest, and the no fat feta taste like full fat to me and the chocolate by the counter is amazing. A tip: Everyone should know the prices of their flowers cannot be beat! Today, I purchased the medium body Trader Joe coffee. I will let you know if it is a hit or not. I am a very picky, picky coffee drinker. I am so picky that (by the way I hate Costco's Starbuck coffee), I won't have it one more day or I will puke...I digressed. Anyway, I called the Hilton (in Atlanta and I live in Michigan) today, to find out how to get my hands on the delicious coffee I had the last time I stayed there, it was by Coffee and Tea. I will save that the details for when I write their review, but for now just know, I am a coffee snob, but I unfortunately let my husband buy the coffee and I think he would just drink anything, as long as it wakes him up. I really am off on a tangent, and all I really wanted to say is, that if I don't like the coffee it may be because I am a coffee snob and it may be perfectly fine for you. Back to TJ's, as we refer to it in such "lovingly" ways. They really never disappoint me with their selection. If anyone ever wants to know what to buy me for a present, buy me a TJ's gift card!
