Where to Buy and Eat Pelmeni, the Russian Dumplings, in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Even at the supermarket level I noticed that Trader Joe’s now carries a frozen chicken-and-mushroom pelmeni version that local Russians have deemed quite good." - Sasha Vasilyuk

Fantastic grocery store. Plenty of parking. Well stocked shelves. Always lots of employees stocking shelves you can ask for help. The produce is great and inexpensive (least expensive organic milk around). And people watching of the customers is a fun bonus! So happy to have this in my neighborhood!

Google
Trader Joe’s is usually known for its friendly vibe, but this location feels tense and unwelcoming from start to finish. Between the discourteous shoppers and the equally dismissive staff, the experience is always exhausting and disappointing. I expect better from a store that prides itself on customer service, and I leave every time with no desire to return anytime soon - unfortunately this is the only one in town, so what are we to do? I make a point of switching to longer lines purely to spare myself another encounter with "Yvonne".

Google
Trader Joe's has a vast selection of groceries that can appeal to many. The Trader Joe's logo for all sorts of products from wine, hokiday cookies, cheeses, teas etc. When traveling to Santa Fe its on our bucket list. Great place to shop.l

I got many things that day and all were yummie,I found alot if different items that I really enjoyed. I will say They could be a little nicer and maybe even smile. Didn't receive any help in any area. They all were like robots. And the parking isn't great.

Lynne G.

Google
Not only are the people fabulous, especially Johnny, there are the staples and then there are always the "OMG, these are wonderful! What the heck are these?" Shopping at TJs in Santa Fe is always an enjoyable adventure.

Dane M.

Google
Wonderful trader Joe's. Had a really picture perfect moment watching 2 little kids scan the items with their till person. Laughing and doing a great job scanning so cute. Trader Joe's really does go above and beyond. Decent quality products and a wide and healthy variety. My sole feed back? Keep the prices as low as possible people come because trader Joe's isn't too expensive. Let's stay that way.

Google
Great finds! Lots of wines and priced reasonably. Bought a locally made in NM sparkling and highly recommend it. Staff is very friendly.

Google
What's up with all the workers at this location? Not very friendly, seem more preoccupied in talking to each other rather than helping out patrons. They act like we're always in their way when shopping and several have cut in front of me rudely just to stock items. Parking is an absolute nightmare, patrons seem to also have no manners. Probably one of the worst locations I've ever been too. Will probably shop at Whole Foods next time.

Yelp
This Trader Joe's in Santa Fe is the closest to me - a five-hour drive! I should have stocked up on more of my favorites the last time I was here in spring of 2024. The produce looked real good. I'm not big into frozen stuff, but they always seem to have interesting items. Love their coffees and teas. Cheeses and wines. Sometimes they have craft beers that are decent. I miss shopping here often because they sell items that are hard to find or different. Like all the TJ's I have been to, this one stays busy; however, the crew keeps it fairly clean and organized. The cashiers moved quickly and the man that checked us out was amicable and chatty. The only major pitfall I remember was the super tight parking spots and a few ultra grumpy locals.

Yelp
Have been a HUGE FAN since we lived in CA. They are GREAT for quick stops & always have fun new items to try! They have fresh, reasonably-priced produce & frozen fish. It's also a GREAT place to buy frozen appetizers for a party! I especially love their coconut chocolate "ice cream"! Tastes SO DECADENT & RICH! Also, at Christmas, they have star-shaped chocolate covered cookies with little white nonpareil sprinkles on them! I freeze some to eat when they stop carrying them. And their green dragon hot sauce is a hit at our house, too! SO MANY DELICIOUS OPTIONS!
google avatar

Yelp
I went in for the first time last week, I was told that its prices are better than other grocery stores! I loved this store, everything looked very clean and organized! The staff was ready to help and very friendly. My cashier was very welcoming as well. FLOWERS ARE BEAUTIFUL! Will definitely be back. Great store.

Yelp
Its a TJs! I have always loved every Trader Joes locations and this is no exception. Great selection, price and service. This one even has liquor! Great grocery store.

Cosmo K.

Yelp
Great food shopping for my wife and I as it's just the two of us in the house. Also a convenient location for us. Selection (or variety) is not the best in town but it's sufficient for most of our needs. Now, as for the 1-star rating... The employees at this location in Santa Fe New Mexico are THE RUDEST PEOPLE of any grocery store in town! On several occasions I've been uncertain of what I wanted off the self as I stood there looking. And here comes an employee stocking the shelf(s) in front of me. Puts down his/her large container of merchandise right in front of me, blocks my view and NEVER one word of "EXCUSE ME", or "CAN I HELP YOU FIND SOMETHING?" Now I can't see the shelf. I can't reach for anything on the shelf and I have to excuse myself and the employee is angry at me! GO FIGURE! One start rating is One Star too much for their rudeness!

Yelp
Great service always! Staff is consistent. Easy to recognize. Store is always clean even while super busy. Product is on point. Great produce. If this Trader Joe's is out of an item they do everything to help you get that item asap. Great management. This is a crazy busy store and they got it down. Employee named Dave super helpful. Hard worker. Now that parking area is a bit tricky. Please drive carefully. Lots of elderly folks shop here so just give them some respect when they walk in front of your car. Or show some patience when a driver is backing out etc... it could be your auntie or granny. Kindness is King here. This is beautiful Santa Fe. Not LA or NYC. RELAX! Blessed to be here! Count your blessings!

Yelp
So I finally got to see what all the hype is about. The one I went to in Flagstaff wasn't very big maybe the size of Times Supermarket in Kunia. We were able to pick up some stuff for a quick breakfast on the go. There wasn't any bakery or deli surprisingly. I was expecting more bulk items like Whole Foods or Down to Earth.

Yelp
Thank goodness for Trader Joe's! Great selection of fresh flowers. Good wine and cheese selection. Warm, wonderful, friendly staff. Please up your game by putting in more high quality fresh ORGANIC produce. Keep those shelves stocked. More fresh meat including beef and lamb from New Zealand would be deeply appreciated. Good location and parking. Thanks for being consistent across all your stores.

Sarah P.

Yelp
Seriously, shame on Trader Joe's for having stopped providing cart wipes. With the bird flu, and people still getting COVID, when did this Trader Joe's decide it was a good idea not to place cart wipes out front?
google avatar

Benjie K.

Yelp
First ever walking into a Trader Joe's grocery. Been in a few, as I'm 60. First thing I noticed when pulling in the parking lot was the red grocery carts all over the place in parking lot. At least 5 parking spots were blocked by grocery carts. For me, this speaks to two things. The type of people who shop here and management not staying on top of getting carts out of the parking lot. I found about 20% of the shoppers were rude or inconsiderate of other shoppers. I got 7 things in my cart, got blocked for the last time by a shopper. Picked up my 7 things in my arms, put them back and left. When I got to my truck, I had to return two carts to the store just to leave the parking lot. When I got back to my truck, there was another cart blocking my exit. Not sure I want to patronize a store that draws this type of customers? Are all TJ's like this one in Santa Fe?

Yelp
Great products and service with a friendly helpful staff. Thank You Trader Joe's!!!!!!!

Yelp
We already know I'm a Trader Joe's addict. Clearly if you follow me at all, you know I'm all about their products so I'm not even going to go there with this one. We visited this location because we are in Santa Fe for the weekend and the worst thing happened: I ran out of my teriyaki seaweed snacks! (THE HORROR!) It was a visit of pure necessity but the location was super convenient! Unlike the locations by us in Albuquerque, this location had lots of handicapped parking, which was very refreshing! I also loved that it had a separate entrance and exit rather than having everyone try to crowd through the same door. These small things made for a much smoother Trader Joe's run. We usually try to avoid the store on Saturdays but it was a really easy thing to run in and out today. It was a really pleasant surprise!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to this Trader Joe's several times. It is conveniently located near where I work. I get various items, such as snacks and salads for lunches. The staff are friendly. It seems to always be busy, which is good. Thank you, Trader Joe's, for being there!
google avatar

Jeanie M.

Yelp
As always, Trader Joe's nails it. There were so many fresh, amazing, yummy, and reasonably priced items! The deli section was terrific. Spring rolls, sushi, and sandwiches caught my eye. I almost snatched a crispy kale pack for the road, but a package of crispy broccoli won me over. Then the nut section made me pause, but it was the roasted unsalted sunflower seeds that I settled on. All the produce looked delicious. They lost a star because neither stall in the ladies restroom had functioning locks.

Laura H.

Yelp
Having read some reviews, I am shocked at those who are unfamiliar with supply shortages and delays due to the pandemic and expect 'everything to be the same as before.' Remember, The whole world is short-staffed. Be kind and show some appreciation for those who show up.
google avatar

Iris J.

Yelp
This Trader Joe's is located in a shopping center just a short drive from downtown Santa Fe. The store is wells stocked, the staff is friendly and the selection is actually better than most of the locations I've been to... since this experience sounds pretty typical of any Trader Joe's.... so why did I take away two stars? Mid shopping trip I decided to use the restroom. I went into the stall and started to smell poop. Thinking the person next to me had just had some stomach issues I didn't think much of it until I turned around to flush and looked down. Someone had pooped on the floor and I stepped in it and got it embedded in the sole of my shoe. I let the nearest staff member know, and they didn't even bother offering an apology. Since it's the closest Trader Joe's to Santa Fe I'll likely be back, but I won't make the mistake of using the restroom again.

Yelp
Love TJs but I have have never experienced customer service like I did at this store. The cashier dropped my bananas on the floor, bent down, scooped them up and put them in my bag. As anyone knows bruised bananas are only good for banana bread which I was not making. Then I was sending a text when he went to hand me my receipt (sorry I was distracted and took a beat time from you) and the cashier got irritated and threw my receipt at me, no not in the bag, not an accident but threw it at me. The cashier then turned around in a snap and took up conversation with the cashier at the next register without a word to me. Yikes

Yelp
The Santa Fe store has really gone downhill in the last few months, empty shelves, limited produce and always full of Karens who refuse to wear a mask. Management refuses to act, putting all other shoppers in potential danger over one stupid Qaren screaming 'its none of your business'... ( at the moment, its a state law, bitch! ) Sorry Joe, I'm Trading elsewhere now, until you enforce masking up, to protect your loyal customers. I encourage others to shop elsewhere too, if you care about your health & well being. just across the road is Natural Grocers just as good deals, bigger & cleaner, better produce and NO Karens !

Yelp
Hint: diggity dog is by the flowers. This place is always a zoo but worth the effort. We decided to get hard meats and cheese for dinner tonight. While trying to decide on the cheese we met a lovely French-Swiss lady and she gave us a recommendation on her favorite cheese. We had to talk for awhile, and the girls traded bread recipes.

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite grocery stores except Aldi but they don't have any Aldi's in Santa Fe or in the state of NM yet. They have a lot of organic food options for reasonable prices. The only issue I have is that they don't have every type of vegetable or fruit that you might be looking for but still have a great selection. A lot of their snacks they have are healthy and extremely tasty! They also have a lot of gluten free, vegetarian/vegan and keto options.

Bahzad B.

Yelp
It's my third time that I'm out of this store disappointed and today was the hallmark. 1. They allow much more than they can serve in the store specifically during Covid I assume even fire department had problem with the number of people in the store 2. There's no fast track, for 5 items I was standing more than 25 mins and not even a foot movement. Looks like this store is designed for big purchases and they don't care about small purchases

John S.

Yelp
How can you not love this place? Wine selection is awesome, staff is happy and brookies are fresh!

Mary C.

Yelp
We live in SW NM and only get to TJs when visiting a friend in Santa Fe. We were there 10 days ago and purchased 2 winter squash. The squash rotted within a week. Most of the bread was at or within a day of their sale dates. The only things we like there now are olives, capers and wine. They stopped selling Wasabi mayo which was one of my favorites. We have been stopping at that store once or twice a year for 10 years and it has definitely gone down hill. Our next trip north we will try the TJs in Albuquerque.

Debbie G.

Yelp
One thing for sure, I love everything about Trader Joe's. It seems no matter what state you go to they always have great service and great selections. Their foods are always fresh and we can always count on them to have what we need. Plus they have great wines, champagne alcohol and beer choicesI love Trader Joe's

Jordan G.

Yelp
Great stuff. Passed out and they gave me free candy and orange juice. If you are looking for somewhere to faint, these are your guys. Would do it again.

Carol J.

Yelp
Love Trader Joe's. Great choices that you can,t, find in other grocery stores.Prices are fairly reasonable prices except for the produce. I don,t buy my produce there. The only reason for the 4 stars is nightmare parking lot. That seems to be a T-Joes trademark. I have been to several in 3 different states.
google avatar

Darryl N.

Yelp
This Trader Joes is a BUST -- completely unorganized at the check-outs and sloooooooow
google avatar

Polly S.

Yelp
I will give TJ's a "3" today. They really need to TRAIN THEIR STAFF (especially the young ones) to watch out for the customers -- watch out when they are pushing their carts of product, try not to block walkways, and look where they are going when coming around a corner. I did not have to interact with the rude lady from last time -- I ignored her.
google avatar

Janice F.

Yelp
Can I say how much I love this store! My favorite Grocery store in Santa Fe for sure. Everything I have bought has been high quality and delicious. The samples are always good too. It's quite crowded and small but they are always working diligently to keep it stocked and the lines are never long, they are always opening new lanes to get you through quickly. I have never had an unpleasant cashier either.

Merissa L.

Yelp
Staff is incredibly rude to my service animal. Manager cut me off and told me to take my dog out of the store when I was trying to explain her service, i even tried to show him the documents and he refused
google avatar

Yelp
Garlic dip is the best thing ever. I can never get sick of this as I grew up eating it with rotisserie chicken. #traderjoes, do not ever think about not carrying it in the future.
google avatar

Dustin E.

Yelp
You will love my friend Trader Joe. He has Cuban seasoned wrap with pork ham, Swiss cheese and pickles wrapped with a flour tortilla $3.99. The dipping sauce was soooo gooood. I shared that and also had spicy California rolls to finish my healthy lunch at my friend Trader Joe's in Santa Fe. Whoo-hoo! Yelp 365 Challenge: 33/365
google avatar

KT R.

Yelp
I love this market. The staff are highly knowledgable and work hard at finding things for customers. Their food is fresh and well priced. I highly recommend this Santa Fe grocer.

Justin M.

Yelp
I've been shopping at Trader Joe's from coast to coast. I grew up going to the original. I spent two years shopping at the giant Brooklyn location with more than 30 checkout stands. And I've been a regular at a half-dozen other locations in my life. This one really isn't very good. I mean, yes, the prices are great, and most of the employees are friendly, but I've never seen a TJ's that runs out of items as frequently as this one. And quite a few items they just don't stock. But... I still like it more than any other grocery store in town.
google avatar

Deb L.

Yelp
I have always had a positive experience at any Trader Joes until today. I will NEVER go back to the Santa Fe location. The parking lot was chaotic and drivers were not considerate. The store was dirty and the employees were not friendly. Our cashier, John, was a complete pompous a$$! We had 14 items in our basket and were in a 15 item express lane. He pointed at the express lane sign, told us, "he'd let us pass this time" and then proceeded to slam the glass items into a box and threw rest of groceries at us to bag ourselves. Completely rude and unacceptable, Trader Joes Santa Fe. Only plus, cheap wine.
google avatar

Clare M.

Yelp
This place is a flipping nightmare from trying to turn into the parking lot, to trying to not run over the other patrons, to trying to not run over the parking attendant, to trying to find a cart, to trying to reach the groceries you want to purchase, to trying to not run over people who are blocking the aisles while they complain about ingredients to employees who clearly do not personally manufacture the products, to trying to remember where they moved the frozen Chinese food, to trying to get out of the parking lot, without hitting the other patrons and not hitting the parking attendant and not getting into a wreck with some woman who is overly Yoga-ed out and not paying attention to the fact that you are backing up. yup. cheap booze.

Nat B.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Always plenty of checkers available. Interesting products. Fair prices. And decent parking. I always feel safe shopping there during COVID too. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
Hello Joe, old friend. Yes this is my new TJ's and it is always jumping up in here. Being that Santa Fe's population is smaller than one square mile of Manhattan you'd think that one TJ's would satisfy the masses, however its not. I like it though! It's like the social center of SFe, and you see all the peeps you know there and all peoples from all walks of life doing their shoppinz for cheese, wine and cookies. I enjoy the fast paced action here and there is never a dull moment. The shelves are always full and being filled as soon as an item item is taken and put in a cart, or a basket like I always carry. I only use the basket because I'd never get around as stealthily as I prefer if I had a cart. When I get to the check out my basket is over brimming to the point where it fills four bags which I can barely manage to carry to the car. This TJ's is a great TJ's. I love it! Just an FYI, they have the best prices in town on Gruet, my fave NM Bubbles. However their booze prices are not as competitive as you might think. Try Susan's Fine Spirits for the fullest line of Gruet bottles and more selection of booze at good prices. Cheers!

Susie K.

Yelp
I'm writing about the Trader Jose's in Santa Fe. I'm not going to go there anymore. They have a dismal response to COVID-19. No curb site pickup, no senior hours unlike the other markets in the area like Sprout's. Yes, they only allow 50 in the store, so now you wait in line. I'm changing stores.
google avatar

Susan B.

Yelp
I will admit I am not a Trader Joe's fanatic. So perhaps I expect too much. But this felt just demoralizing. Daughter and I were visiting Santa Fe, it was evening and we were craving some healthy snacks and a chance to not feel like tourists. She suggested Trader Joe's. She said this one was much like the one she knows in Connecticut. Concrete floors, a "this fell off the truck last week" vibe and glaring lights. Ugh. Some good variety, a lot of stuff that didn't look appealing, and a few great deals. Overall, it didn't convince me I was wrong about Joe. No thanks.

CM B.

Yelp
Trader Joe's is a very convenient small grocery store. Even on travel, I can get in and out within 15-20 minutes with a week's necessities at a competitive cost. Santa Fe is one of the best. Parking is decent. The store has good greens and fruits, bakery items, frozen foods, house and body cleaning items, flowers and greeting cards. They also carry some gourmet quality food (chocolates, chips, wines) and some gluten-free items -- important to celiacs, diabetics, Hashimotos, etc. I appreciate the kindness of employees: they locate items and exchange pleasantries however busy. I'm grateful to them and all workers braving the pandemic for the rest of us.

J B.

Yelp
I have been going to Trader Joe's for years In many different states. The Santa Fe store is the absolute worst. TJ's prides itself on treating their customers well. Instead I have witnessed the manager yelling at an elderly man for using the bathroom when it was 'out of order' fine, he made a mistake but yelling? I have had usually the women working in the store tell me they were out of something rather then looking, only to find that the item was indeed in the back, tell me when I brought Salmon back that was bad that it was my fault for freezing it because Salmon goes bad when it's frozen (???), evidently they don't realize the Salmon had been frozen before it came to their store and other insane and rude actions. This is a constant issue and after witnessing the actions of said manager, I understand why they are always so rude! Plus TJs uses Palm Oil in so many of their products which directly is causing the elimination of several endangered species. After at least four petitions with hundreds of thousands of signers, they are still refusing to acknowledge it or change. So much for their ethical and environmentally friendly claims!

Yelp
Executive summary for aroused Austinites: if tuber bundling and foil deprivation are less important to you than shopping among the pierced and dyed, keep lobbying for Trader Joes. Otherwise, stick to Whole Foods. I spent a few days within walking distance of a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods in Santa Fe. Whole Foods has a huge, extravagant store in my hometown of Austin, Texas. There is no Trader Joe's in Austin, but an unfounded rumor of its imminent arrival was enough to send a tiny but vociferous minority of Austinites into food shopping arousal. I visited both stores with a shopping list for a camping trip to Villanueva State Park. This was a surgical strike; I wanted buy smoked sausage, eggs, milk, butter, shredded cheddar cheese, spinach, a few red potatoes, a yellow onion, some mokka kashi bars, some zip-lock bags, and some heavy-duty aluminum foil. I was not there to roam the aisles for hours, bask in their respective eclectic culinary offerings, or contemplate their philosophical approach to food and life. Trader Joe's had no smoked sausage whatsoever. They had red potatoes, but only in big bags; I wanted four red potatoes, not thirty. There were no mokka kashi bars, nor did I see aluminum foil. Whole Foods had exactly one package of smoked sausage, which was all I needed. They had individual red potatoes. They had exactly one type of aluminum foil; I decided to buy it despite the risk that my wife would scorn me for buying "light duty" material instead of the heavy duty stuff. (She forgave me.) Whole Foods did not have mokka kashi bars. In fact, as far as I can tell they are banned from the shelves of Santa Fe grocery stores. I did not have time to beg for mokka kashi bars on Craigslist, nor did I try to buy them off the back of a truck in a dark alley in the seamy side of Santa Fe. We camped without them. My wife forgave me for this too. Finally, despite being in surgical strike mode, I noticed the following. Whole Foods got some bad press a few years ago for banning their employees from wearing facial piercings. The Trade Joe's employees definitely looked more pierced and hair-dyed than the Whole Foods employees. I think pieced and hair-dyed workers deserve a shot at grocery store jobs if they want them, and I suppose if I were pierced and hair-dyed, I might prefer to food-shop among my own kind.

Yelp
I think it's a given that every Trader Joe's parking lot is a nightmare. Crazy drivers and I swear, those parking spaces are smaller than other spaces. That being said, this Trader Joe's is double the size of the St. Louis Trader Joe's so it wins points in my book! (Although I hear that St Louis is expanding...so that point might be moot soon.) Lots of choices here, which I love. I also love how it's right off the road to northern New Mexico which makes it so convenient for me to stop by. There is a wide variety of produce and a wide variety of grab-and-go choices. And an expanded selection of alcohol. What's not to love about that?
google avatar

Matt H.

Yelp
I am a reluctant fan of Trader Joe's. It's too socially acceptable within several demographics of our cities cultures. I'm a rebel. I seek to flip off the establishment and would prefer to shop at a cooperative market. Yeah, I'm a rebel with my own eco-friendly reusable shopping tote emblazoned with the Trader Joe's emblem. So much for rebelling. See, I tried to not like this place, but the more I shopped here and compared to other small and big time grocers I became more and more of a convert. There are so many great things to explore on the shelves of TJ's. Like, last night, I ate about a 1/3 of a jar of Cookie & Cocoa Swirl and drank a whole liter of Orangina. Both were made possible by shopping at TJ's. Not to worry, the morning after my binge I downed 8oz of aloe juice. Aloe Juice, in the economy size (whatever that means... I have never seen another size to compare it to), brought to you by Trader Joe's! And all us adult kids know that the best part of TJ's is the liquor section. I can find 6's of a lot of regional favorites, even some selection from my lovely state of CO, for about $1-2 less than near my house. Envy is a cruel mistress and it makes men do silly things. I brought home a couple of mixed cases of beer... The only thing I am truly disappointed in with Trader Joes is their coffee. I have tried so many of their coffees to find that it is truly in the brewing of their beans that bring out the best result. TJ's has the right, carefully selected machine to give people a taster cup in the store. Every time I bring home one of their coffees it leaves me drinking a lot of water post cup. Their beans dry out my mouth severely. No bueno. MINUS 1 STAR!!! Since I read a lot of food politic articles I feel morally superior shopping at TJ's rather than Whole Foods. All the gossip is Whole Foods sells hybrid vegetable-offspring that have copulated with donkeys and frogs, all sourced from underground labs at Los Alamos. I have also heard rumors about midnight black-masses in their dairy cooler. I'm all for freedom of expression, but not within proximity of my coconut water, please. That's just insulting. That said I will shop at TJ's again. The worse thing that could happen there is someone is high when restocking the butternut squash.

Kim S.

Yelp
Trader Joe in Scarsdale New York.. Some of the products is okay desserts to me are disgusting I see why you have a return policy if you don't like the products you can return them now I understand.. also I noticed when this pandemic hit everytime I look around you keep advertising your products it's not all that ... it's like you feeding on the people who are really struggling you wasn't doing all this advertising before.. and yes most of your products are cheap but also disgusting.

Soren S.

Yelp
I have visited 20+ Trader Joe's from the Pacific Northwest, the Southwest, California, Ohio Valley, Washington, DC, and New England - this is by far one of the busiest. Oddly, one of the smaller stores also. In any case, it is a good store - but beware of buying fruit at the Santa Fe TJ's. From apples that are mushy and brown inside, to bananas that only last a few days (one even that was red inside - never seen that before). In high school I worked at a local grocery store. The produce manager had his people cut apart one sample from each box. Sending back any boxes that failed that test. Surprising that TJ's does not follow a similar policy. Selling bad produce is akin to selling spoiled meat, if you want to keep customers, just don't do it.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the busiest, most insane TJ's I've ever been to. The parking lot is nuts, the store is nuts. It's everything you love about TJ's though. Unfortunately it is so busy all the time that they're usually out of stock of something. This isn't the staff's fault by any means and they're usually great. I wish there was a second store in Santa Fe though, this one is beyond crazy. TJ's itself is 5 stars but adding the Santa Fe-ness to the mix makes the necessary shopping trips a dreaded adventure.

Yelp
It's Trader Joe's, you know what to expect here. Good prices, good products, free samples, and all the different oddballs that Santa Fe has to offer. There's not much else I can say, besides that I appreciate that the prices here seem to be in line with those at all their other stores, although my understanding is that TJ's does not adjust (read inflate) their prices in more expensive cities. You gotta love that.
