Love this location !! Prices are awesome. Met the cutest cashier named Patsy. She's very sweet. The food selection is really nice and you get one of a kind products there. The store itself is very clean and well staffed. It gets super busy, I recommend a mid day visit during the week. Weekends get a little crazy.

My partner and I were at Trader Joe’s together and I purchased a bottle of alcohol as we have many times before. Both of us are 30. She occasionally leaves her phone w/ ID at home on short errands. Today for whatever reason the cashier refused to sell me alcohol when I was paying and had my ID because my 30 year old partner did not have her ID. Could not find anything on TJs site regarding this policy but I know it’s not against WA state law for me to purchase in her presence. Pretty frustrating experience. Not going to try and name names but would like to know if this is your SOP for future trips, or maybe consider reminding your staff of the local liquor laws if it’s not. Edit: happy to amend rating if this is SOP and I was simply not aware & it was the first time being enforced

APR 2024: Not sure if Supply Chain issues, lousy inventory management, or both but large swaths of empty shelves across the store today. They only have the weird specialty junk that no one eats and various dry goods. No bread, no tortillas, no spaghetti, no garlic, no produce staples. I went in with a list of 20 things and found maybe 6 of them. TJ's also used to have amazing pies and frozen desserts but their selections for those haven't been the same since the pando. They also had some individual flower bunches but no bouquets to choose from today. Overall thinking I should have skipped the weekly grocery trip.

The friendliest store with lots of great food. Free parking on main and upper level. Prices are usually less expensive than elsewhere. Only drawback: In addition to healthy options, they carry a lot of junk food (okay for snacks, I guess).

I had the most pleasant visit. The store was clean, and I loved the layout compared to my regular Trader Joe's. The woman Heidi who checked me out was so sweet and added to the overall great experience I had shopping here.

Trader Joe's in West Seattle has two parking lots. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the shop and a covered parking lot on the 39th Ave SW side. It is also available for people with disabilities, as there is a large elevator on the 39th Ave side and other entrance too. The shop is crowded on weekends, so you may have to wait at the entrance. The inside of the store is spacious because the aisles are spaced apart from before. I find it useful to have some Trader Joe's eco-bags because they are well designed and convenient. Here the groceries are sold in just the right size and can be used up. There are many types of daily necessities and wine, and it's fun just to look at them. I recommend Trader Joe's original products. I think that the price and assortment are good and it is jumping to the original. I love Coffee beans ice cream and matcha ice cream. And whenever I see the products displayed on each aisle side, I buy them. Don't miss the seasonal assortment too. I'm looking forward to it next time.

A few months ago we purchased burrata that had gone bad. We couldn’t tell as this product is in water and prepackaged. Expiration date was fine, we got home and discovered it had gone bad. No big deal, a few weeks later the same thing happened. We went to the store to return the item, and the cashier returned it and also gave us a $10 gift card for the inconvenience. This was probably in October or November of 2024. We stopped shopping there to avoid purchasing more rotten food, but decided to give them another shot a few days ago. When we tried paying with the gift card it wasn’t working. Fine, no big deal, it was only $10. But Brian treated us like it was our fault the gift card wasn’t working. He asked how we even got the gift card, and when we told him the situation he became very defensive and told us that’s not their policy. We weren’t complaining the gift card wasn’t working, we just wanted to pay and go. Brian was rude, made it seem like it was our fault we had a gift card, and seemed very bothered by the fact that he had to help us. I recommend teaching proper policy to cashiers rather than scolding guests who use a gift card given by an employee. Last time shopping here.

Google
They really need to stop selling Chiquita/Dole bananas. They are better than this. Cotsco has Del Monte bananas, for anyone looking for more ethical brands. SARs also have other brands also. Please TJ, carry other brands of bananas.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's and this location has the most fantastic customer service, but this review is for the produce. Yesterday in the store I saw early August dates on several of the vegetables. I then looked and there was mold on the zucchini's. This has happened before with the mushrooms and asparagus. I just cut into what looked like a healthy cucumber today after I purchased it yesterday, and it now tastes like a pickle. It's all mush and clearly was bad. Just some feedback to please start putting out fresher veggies and or toss the bad ones. Waste of money!

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's! Such a cute and unique shopping experience. The people working here seem so happy and joyful. They carry seasonal items and everyday essentials. Prices are very reasonable. I love the cheese selection. Best frozen Indian food ever!

Yelp
If you've read my reviews before, you know that I'm a huge fan of TJ's! While it's not a one stop shop, it is *the* place to go for funky finds at really great prices. They like to keep things simple and don't overload you with options. They'll have one, maybe two choices of an item and that's it! Keeps costs lower and makes shopping simpler. I actively pay attention to new products and keep a mental list of what I'm trying to get my hands on. Different stores have different things so it's worth checking around if you're looking for a special something, which is how I ended up stopping at this location. I didn't go through the entire store and really just beelined it to check on stock, but it appears to be a good size and kept in proper order. I found the very elusive ube pretzels (YUM! Glad I got greedy and bought 3 bags) and the vegan poke (which is garbage and I never want to even see it again). They're really lax about returns. If you don't like something they'll happily refund you and I've heard that you can sample things if you ask, but I haven't tried that before.

Yelp
Definitely worth a few miles freeway drive to get to this location with a nice big parking lot. Big clean store with lots of big, wide aisles and farm stands. They have a great big wine and spirits selection. The people that work there are so kind and they always have a lot of registers open. The space is open and beautiful with hand made art and signs. Such a great location! Well done TJ's crew

Yelp
They've been doing COVID-19 safety really well. They only let a certain number of people in the store, so you will likely wait outside in a line that seems long but does not take long and then go inside to a uncrowded store, which compared to pre-COVID is honestly almost pleasant. The check-out process is also straight forward with clear expectations set about where to stand and what to do. Generally, Trader Joe's is known for unique pre-prepared and packaged food and low-cost items that are usually high cost like nuts and wine and oat milk and cheese. This Trader Joe's is no different. We generally don't get our vegetables as quality can be inconsistent, but get everything else here. The one rough thing about Trader Joe's is that you'll get used to buying one item for years and years and years and they discontinue it so suddenly you will wonder if it even existed. Goodbye, Morello cherries. I look for you every time, but you're never there.

Yelp
Honestly, how can you not love TJ's? The variety of culture incorporated in the food available in store is so lovely to see. It's affordable. It's clean and they do the cutest seasonal stuff. The staff are always so unbelievably friendly making your trip to the store a lovely experience. The produce is super fresh and organic produce is affordable. I can buy double the amount of stuff I would buy from other stores closer to this store for half the price. Amazing!

Yelp
The selection of food at Trader Joe's makes me believe that I am a much better cook than I am. It's entertaining shopping here. The customer service is sometimes "next level" and sometimes I'm made to feel like an inferior customer. Today it was awkward, then uncomfortable. I was disappointed when I got in my car. I asked myself "Is it best to not return, or to communicate respectfully." I know that I WANT to come back, so I took a deep breath and advocated for myself. The gentleman I spoke with made me feel heard. That's all I wanted. Employees have bad days, I know. It's best I let a manager relate to their internal family, then add to a bad bay. I know sometimes it's not personal, but meet me half way with professional. Thanks Trader Joe's

Yelp
Your typical Trader Joe's! It has pretty much what you are looking for at a grocery store. Maybe it is because I don't shop at Trader Joe's often enough, but the price listed here is actually better (read: cheaper) than QFC/Safeway. It was packed on a Sunday night but the cashier line moves fairly quickly. The parking lot can be confusing. Drive slowly and watch for the parking lot entrance. The lot is small but manageable.

Yelp
Came to this Trader Joe's location for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was able to find everything that I was looking for. Staff that I'd encountered were cheerful and friendly.

Yelp
Great juice Green Plant . Looks kinda strange and as it's just vegetable juice but it's actually absolutely delicious and has orange and apple juices . Recently it was discontinued but I so hope they ll bring it back . It's their best Not recommending it now at all. The worst is that new Policy of max amount of shoppers and the long line outside just to get in to the store. Here in Seattle it's too chilly and rainy for that and I AVOID Traders Joe's at all costs . Even with a current situation it's not a busy store at all to implement such a rule . The staff is still friendly but there are constant shortages now of various products because of their ordering system and the shelves look sad and empty

Yelp
A clean, nice Trader Joe's, with a great selection of samples! I especially love that this location also offers an herbal tea for those of us that don't drink coffee at all hours. The selection, as per usual, is consistent with other Trader Joe's locations, as is the return policy. We finally tried the frozen cauliflower pizza crust, and though homemade is better, it was a great, quick substitute!

Yelp
I had a problem recently and wanted to resolve it with their online contact form. They don't answer questions or concerns there even after follow ups. Just wanted to get the word out that employees are really nice when you are in the store but once you leave, all bets are off. I bring my own bag but occasionally still get charged a bag fee. ‍ Busy store with a small parking lot. There is some street parking but it's often taken up by gym rats next door or apartment dwellers. There is a great curb space on the south side of the store but there are a couple of blocks of hours when you can't park there so delivery trucks can unload. I have gotten blocked in the parking lot by oblivious, selfish people who don't know how to park. Occasionally out of stock on several items. They don't follow the law as far as non service animals in the store. Expired milk is on the shelf sometimes. A woman was attacked during the day in the parking lot a couple of years ago. I would like to shop there more often but it just doesn't seem worth it. The issues I have with this store have nothing to do with the pandemic. Issues before, during and after covid restrictions.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. It has almost everything you need, and then you just find things you never even imagined that are at least interesting, at most spectacular! They have no automatic tellers, which to me is a plus in this overly digitized world. The staff is so friendly, personal and seemingly always around to look into any particular product you may be looking for and check on it for you. You can tell they are happy there and I am always happy to go there.

Yelp
I've been coming back every week or two for groceries since my initial trip and I'm still really happy with my experiences. Over the weeks I've learned what to look for in their produce, and what to avoid. Honestly, I've had worse produce experiences at the Kress and downtown Target. So anyone complaining about the produce here probably aren't the type to thoroughly check produce before they buy it anywhere. I'm always looking at dates and buying outside of plastic bags whenever I can so I can touch, smell, and inspect. Either way, I still feel better buying cheaper produce here than at any other grocery stores in Seattle. I also love that I can buy a bottle of great olive oil here without taking out a loan. Nuts, and dried fruit aren't gauging in price either. And I can pick up a few bottles of great wine without breaking the bank. Say what you will, but before I moved to WA, Aldi was part of my shopping trips weekly. And since there are none out here, TJ's fills that void better than any other stores out here (same company) and I love that I can let loose a little a get more for my money. Oh! And if you haven't tried their pancake bread yet, DO IT. Or don't... because you might not be able to stop. LOL.

Yelp
Updated review!! Yelp, the essential Big Tech arbiter of our freedoms, keeps insisting that we mention Covid in our reviews. Then I shall. This Trader Joe's follows the rules - terrified customers scurrying away from my six-foot viral blast zone. Masked zombies sanitizing bananas in their car trunks. Small talk at the register feels like I'm speaking to a radio - a duffle bag with eyes slowly packs my environmentally friendly reusable bag while asking how... my... day... is... going. Overall, a very depressing experience. Capitalism meets conscience. Agency meets groupthink. The human experiment continues, at the tail-end of our Republic. Most empires last 250 years. Here we are at 245... holding our organic cucumbers; lost, soulless--looking to the media and put Big Tech / corporate overlords to offer their guidance. As someone once put it... not with a bang, but a whimper. Plus the almond butter is to die for!!!

Yelp
This is an absolutely terrible Trader Joes location, and I would suggest that everyone drive a little further out of their way to avoid it. When I attempted to go check out with a cashier in the express line the cashier, without looking or speaking with me, had another person who had not been in his line or anyone elses cut in front of me to ring up his items first. It was absolutely rude and unsettling, and I have never been treated like that at any other Trader Joes location, and I will not be stopping by this one again in case there is a repeat performance.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the less friendly TJ's I've ever been to. The parking situation is so poor I often avoid it for that reason alone. If you go at the wrong time its not unusual to be completely out of stock on at least a handful of things I went there for. Perhaps it will get better if Whole Foods ever opens nearby. I can't wait for the PCC to reopen.

Yelp
I came here on a whim this afternoon. It was 2pm on a Friday and I was in the area, plus I needed to pick up some food for dinner. The Maps app on iPhone led me to a very confusing place (parking structure for Trader Joe's...? But it said do not enter?) but I eventually found the actual parking lot in front of the store. The store is in a very awkward place of the street and the small parking lot can be a bit overwhelming if you've never been there before. The store was crowded with people in general but still, it felt so cramped. The aisles (except for the frozen food aisles) were so tiny that if two people with carts were on either side browsing for something, you wouldn't be able to get through, even without your own cart. I get that Trader Joe's isn't Safeway or Costco but the TJ's I used to live near had smaller carts available that weren't so wide and bulky. My experience was short of a nightmare and I would only come back if I really had to.

Yelp
I had the unfortunate circumstance of locking my keys in my car today at the West Seattle TJ. Not just my keys but my wallet, phone and groceries too! However, everyone here was so nice and helpful. Big call out to Maggie who connected me to my insurance company and eventually to the towing service. I waited a long time to get through and Maggie was really patient and comforting while I was going through anxiety about my situation and also brought me a bottled water! Maggie also offered replacement of my frozen goods. Other customer service team members let me know when I got calls from the tow company. Everyone I spoke with were all so pleasant and professional. I love having a Trader Joe's in West Seattle and especially appreciate them going out of their way to and the extra mile to help me out!

Yelp
I am grateful and overwhelmed at the kindness demonstrated by the essential employees at this location. I am a healthcare worker and was hurrying to TJ's to try and catch the store before the line hit, I was too late. I started to get upset as this was the outcome each time I tried to go previously. I thought I'd offer the management an idea of having a special hour for essential workers. Sean, the manger, took that suggestion in and offered to get me in ASAP if I was still at the store, I was. I went in and quickly gathered my things, the young lady at the register (didn't catch her name!) was equally kind and when discovering I work in healthcare, encouraged me to grab some flowers for the office and she'd cover it. I know these things seem small, but in the times we're currently experiencing, every act of kindness counts. I will be forever a loyal customer. Many thanks. Dr K

Yelp
I love trader joe's. PERIOD. Their produce their selection of packaged meals everything is of great quality, reasonably priced and good portions. Personally I pick alot of party food from here ranging from chicken samosas, veggie samosas, pork dumplings, veggie dumplings, spring rolls, mini pizzas, frozen organic vegetable pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, alfredo pasta, lasangna, chicken parmesan, indian breads, biscotti (love their hazelnut biscottu), veggie chips, cheese platter and not to forget their great selection of wines. I found TJ sell a great brand of Amaretto for $8 while i usually pay $39 for a good bottle of Amaretto at a liquor store. This location is well stocked and the staff is great. They are taking great precautions during covid time and ensuring folks are following social distancing in the store as well. TJ is a saviour when it comes to hosting large parties at home always..

Yelp
Shopped at Trader Joe's in Los Angeles for years- employees always smiling, always willing to help, always in a good mood. Shopped at Trader Joe's in New Jersey for years. Employees always smiling, always willing to help, always in a good mood. Shopped at Trader Joe's in Bellevue ONCE- same happy go lucky singing in the aisle "do you need help" situation. Shop at THIS Trader Joe's every week for a year and have been asked if I need help finding anything MAYBE 5 times. Maybe. Employees barely glance at me when stocking the aisles. Only the cashiers are in a decent mood. I LOVE Trader Joe's. But seriously annoyed this is the only one close by to shop at.

Yelp
I am a huge Trader Joe's shopper, we just moved to south seattle and this will be my new TJs! I was very satisfied! All the staff was very friendly and helpful( I currently have two broken feet so it's quiet an adventure to go anywhere) anything I needed to grab/reach someone was always not too far to help me out! Check out was quick! The gentleman was great with entertaining my little toddler and even gave her a handful of stickers to take home!

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's especially this one they are always so helpful and nice here even when they are extremely busy they keep it very professional I know how stressful this job can be great job to you all I will always remain a loyal guest in your store.

Yelp
We don't have TJ in Hawaii so anytime any local is in the mainland they need to stop at a TJ to pick up goodies to bring back home. Everything here is so affordable and staff is so pleasant. Picked up a grip load of stuff. I wish I stayed in an Airbnb that had a full kitchen as there are so many things I would have loved to try. Next time I guess!

Yelp
One extra star for the wonderful cheese selection. Minus a star for screwed up parking. The parking situation is poorly thought out. The street level parking lot on the east side of the store off Fauntleroy is a mess. Eastbound on Fauntleroy, you get cars clogging up both east and westbound Fauntleroy queuing to make left turns into the lot. And the right lane of westbound gets backed up with stopped cars entering the congested parking lot and others trying to parallel street park. There will be blood .... I mean accidents. The east lot seems to be always full with cars backed up looking for spaces. People apparently do not realize there is a west parking lot on top of the store! They should have better signage for the parking.

Yelp
I purchased six large poinsettias from the West Seattle Trader Joes, then realized I don't have enough hands to carry it back to my work which is a block away from the store. After ringing up the sale, the friendly cashier Eddy offered and actually helped to carry the poinsettias back to my work. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me out Eddy!

Yelp
This by far is my favorite TJ's. Too bad it's so far away from my house near the UW. My TJ's on Roosevelt is tiny with a small & cramped parking garage. I've been here twice now. Once on an early Sunday morning & the second time on a Thursday afternoon. Each time the store had plenty of space for all the shoppers. Note: some of the white wines are available chilled. Look for the sign. :)

Yelp
Biggest Trader Joe's I've ever been in!! 2 parking lots- not that I really care because I live across the street and walk, but still, it's a bonus. The staff here are awesome and have really taken an effort to get to know the regulars- they do a great job keeping the store in tip-top shape, are very helpful, and really seem to enjoy being at work! Also, the bathrooms are great- never seen a TJs with more than 2 stalls! Woo hoo!! I'd totally be ok if they took down the flag, it's quite annoying late at night, but whatever...just glad to have them in the neighborhood. It'll be awesome once they have liquor too!

Yelp
I was happily surprised the interior of the store is larger than it appears from the outside! Great friendly staff and spacious interior makes this a returning customer! Easy commute from the central area too!

Yelp
Been a big fan for years and am stoked it's finally in my neighborhood. I've been shopping at the Burien location for years, love the staff and really like it there but this location is only 3 miles away. The staff is super friendly (even some from Burien) and the store is HUGE. Parking has been good but I can see it being a cluster during busy times (not like Capitol Hill though). If you can go early and during the day, I highly recommend it because they run out of organic produce after 6 or so. The coconut milk, .99 is still the BEST deal around!!!!! HIp hip hooray!!!!!

Yelp
I stop into this Trader Joe's sporadically. One of the highlights for me is the cheap flowers by the doorway. There's always a good selection, at a fraction of the cost of other grocery floral retailers. I'm not exactly sure how healthy the food is at Trader Joe's, somewhere between a Safeway/7-Eleven and PCC Co-op. There's a whole lot of super processed foods in healthy looking packaging. But, then again, it's probably up to me to find healthy foods. The organic fruit is usually sprinkled around. The organic vegetables are way to the left of the selections. I have to admit, I am a hopeful person, but am ALWAYS discouraged by the organic fruit selection. There's organic milk at this location, but not non-homogenized. One thing that rocks is the beverage selection, lots of beer, wine and juice.

Yelp
I like this store! As far as Trade Joe stores go, this one is my favorite. The layout is great, it's always clean, and the cashiers and other staff have been friendly. The prices are over the edge on some items since it's in West Seattle, land of the expensive, and the parking lot is way too small.

Yelp
I agree with another guy's review of the food at Trader Joe's. It is funny...I do not go here much...MAYBE once a month when I crave their spring rolls or Greek Salad, and EVERY TIME, I encounter a REALLY PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE customer who I have to say something to about the fact that they cannot move at all in the store or about a rude statement they made. Today, I was talking to the coffee gal about the cost of housing in Seattle and we kind of stumbled into that topic from me telling her I am looking for a permanent job, and unemployed. She asked me why I thought people in Seattle were passive aggressive and I told her it was an experience developed over 11 years of the Seattle freeze despite me being a warm person. Then, this woman came up next to me for the coffee and said, "You should know that we need to put ALL OF THE MONEY into education in this city, not housing." I said, "Lady, I live in public housing and Bill Gates AND Jeff Bezos could do a much better job of advocating for housing in this city, but they do not. " She said, "We need their money." I said, "Yes, if they put it into housing." She looked stymied. This is the problem. This is why, as a Bernie delegate, I left the Democrat party, but sadly, Trader Joe's is TEEMING with limousine liberals. This place is HIGHLY OVERRATED...A TINY, cramped store, overly hyped, filled with limousine liberals who study the cereal boxes intently looking to justify their purchase with the promise of an extra, organic ingredient or two, while they can go to Safeway or another store that has fresher produce. It is sad. I am poor and unemployed and I have to say that there is a way to get FRESHER PRODUCE than this store. The worst part is...as another reviewer also said...the employees look miserable. They do not smile, do not greet you warmly.

Yelp
I recently moved to West Seattle so I was never with out my flagship grocery store unlike most the other reviewers who were waiting years. My review is based off of the wine & brew selection. I am a 2 buck chuck fan. You can't beat a decent bottle of wine for only $2.49. This is usual my go to. However when I am feeling adventurous I browse the huge selection. My lack of knowledge thankfully is never a problem cause they have a wine expert on staff to help with pairings and taste suggestions. I love her! On to the brews. They have a full wall of micro brews, stouts, IPA, and cider. Questions about pairings or just need a beverage recommendation? They have people on staff to help with that to! I usually grab the "build your own" 6 pack and pull & pick to create my own brew sampler. Everything is surprisingly at an affordable price too! They also have a good selection of hard liquor if that is what you are going for. There are several TJ options available. The TJ whiskey....not bad once it's watered down with ice. Vodka of the Gods, yes it's $10 and looks promising BUT!!!!!!! It will give you one HELL of a hangover so I would recommend sticking to the general stuff. Cheers my friend!

Yelp
You can't go wrong at TJ! You can count on the freshest produce. I wish there was one in Paris, TX. However, There is an Aldis, who's produce is unpredictable and not too clean. I heart Trader Joe's!!!

Karyl C.

Yelp
I am not close to a Trader Joe's when I am at home, but I have certainly enjoyed shopping there while visiting in West Seattle. The produce is beautiful, many of the products are new and exciting to me, and the prices are very reasonable.

Yelp
Very friendly staff. They always make great conversation while scanning my items during checkout. They were nice instead of annoyed when I asked about prices on items that didn't show a price. :)

Yelp
Of all of the Traders Joel I've been too, this one is by far the best. The parking lot is congested, but all trader joes parking lots seem to be. The prices are great, the selection is good, and the staff is always friendly. With every trader joes, I can never seem to purchase everything on my list and the store is laid out funky. Once I get the hang of the layout, the shopping is always fun and the samples are always delicious!

Yelp
I usually stop by TJ's a day or two before I have a flight, picking up a salad and some snacks for to cover me in the air and over the next few days. There's a huge variety of both, providing a healthier and cheaper option than you will find in most grocery stores. "Polite, but packed" sums it up well. This store can be very crowded on weekends, and the LA Fitness crowd often swings by for post-workout snacks. Aim for off hours if dodging traffic down the aisles is not your style. Bring and pack your own bags to speed up checkout. Skip the ground-level parking lot and cross your fingers to find a space in the upper deck. there are 5-6 oddly arranged spaces up top uncovered and many more covered spaces directly above the store. Large SUVs will have a tough time maneuvering.

Yelp
The West Seattle TJ is surrounded by urban apartments and busy streets. It has a layout that is backwards from other locations. The parking lot is tiny and just off of a busy street. There is usually not more than a spot or two available to park in. This location really stresses me out. It's on the corner of Alaska and Fauntleroy, and you can't make a right turn to between the two streets. Super confusing. I much prefer the Burien location, which has plenty of parking and a much more relaxed feel inside.

Yelp
I absolutely love TJ, and especially love this location. The store is always clean and stocked. If you need help finding something, staff is there to help. I absolutely love the produce section and the frozen section. There are so many options for a quick meal in the frozen section. Do yourself a favor and buy the spicy peanut sauce salad dressing with honey roasted peanuts, edamame, sunflower seeds, salad mix of choice and the pre cooked chicken! Best salad you will ever have! I promise!

Yelp
Trader Joe's West Seattle is my favorite. It was basically my glorified refrigerator for 3 years. I lived across the street. Pretty sure I've literally tried everything in the store. Avoid the times you would think it's busy. Sunday evenings being the worse. The staff is awesome! They have literally brought out ladders so my daughter could hug Octavia. If you don't know who Octavia is, you need to step your grocery game up!! Too many suggestions to list.

Yelp
One of the new locations. Being off Fauntleroy has it's conveniences and inconveniences. If you go after work during rush hour getting in and out of the parking lot can be a pain in the butt. Pretty standard in terms of what you can expect from Trader Joe's if you've ever shopped here. Organics, non-hormonal type products, etc.

Yelp
Yay,It's been a loong wait since they announced this TJs almost 3 years ago. But that's how the T man rolls. He builds anticipation until you can't stand it and then bang he opens up and dares you not to buy something. "I'm the T man, you know you can't resisit me." I went in just planning to look around on day 1 and maybe buy coffee. 20 minutes and 60 dollars later I had 3 kinds of meat(beautiful frenched rack of lamb, some steaks and ground beef). a bunch of frozen entrees, spring cheese, wine and the ubiquitious cofee. And they me a free bag to boot. The amazing thing is that all that would have been easily 20 dollars more at one of the fancy local grocery stores. That's the T man for you , slow, steady and always willing to please.

Yelp
Finally, finally, finally!!! After all these years of begging TJ's management to open a store in West Seattle, it finally happened!! Yes, I was there on the Opening Day- I would never miss an event with such a huge impact on our neighborhood. The store itself looks great, roomy with good lighting and the usual TJ's selection, free good coffee and food samples. Wish there were some freebies on this first day, but then, hey- we have our very own TJ's in West Seattle!!

Yelp
Go to Trader Joe's for: -Ready-made salads -Cheap, delicious wine (the TJ's brand is great) -Snack items: chips, cookies, granola bars etc. .. great prices -Free samples. Hello Costco x 2 -SWEETEST checkers - always, always a nice conversation!! Don't go here for: -Spacious aisles. Ouch that's your basket in my arm. Your child is on my knee. Etc. -Cold drinks. Well, except for milk.. ahh, perfect for this hot summer day -Anything after 9pm. TJ = grandma hours. -Deli section, sandwiches, pasta salads, cooked meat, etc. Sad face. Sometimes a girl just needs an ice cold drink and an Italian pasta salad.
