Trader Vic's Lounge

Hidden downstairs with a nice view of the pretty pool area, this smaller incarnation of Vic's features the old decor, original menus and aging bartenders from the larger venue that closed several years back. In the best possible sense nothing has changed, except perhaps the quality of the food, which is a little better now that it comes from a shared kitchen with the other downstairs restaurant.

Disappointed by our experiences here. Visited twice while staying at the HIlton. Both times the service was really pretty poor. Prices are very high, but I guess you have to expect that for a hotel restaurant. Drinks themselves were made well. Setting is nice, open doors that lead out to pool area.

My first experience at Trader Vic's was with my parents and a few business associates of my fathers. I must have been 6 or 7 years old. Around 1968! It was so awesome to be able to finally order one of their signature Mai Tais when I turned 21. Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Beef Cho Chos. The steaks and seafood from the Chinese ovens. OK it is now a pool lounge...I can deal with it.

Great poolside bar. perfect place to celebrate birthdays or just hangout by the pool while enjoying a nice drink and food. Bartenders are super nice know what they are doing.

Trader's by the pool is a lot of fun and great eats. Coconut fried prawns and snowballs are the best!

I love dining pool site here! Yummy Polynesian cocktails too!

Nice restaurant fixing the hotel pool. Very relaxing to grab lunch or just a drink and snacks.

This is always a great place to visit for a good meal or a final cocktail before heading back to your room at the Beverly Hilton.
