I wanted to try a local spot while in town. They have plenty of chain restaurants that you can have at any time. I checked the reviews, and reservations were recommended, so I gave them a call to check if they had seating available. The gentleman on the phone was so nice and made a reservation for me and told me to stop by. We were greeted at the door and a table was ready for us. Our waitress, Wendy, came over for our drink order and let us know she had fresh bread coming for us. BTW, while walking up to the restaurant, you could smell the garlic in the air. The bread arrives, and we give it a try. It was delicious, and even my mom liked it. She ate three pieces! She is not a bread person. We tried the crab cake appetizer. My mom, who said she was not hungry, proceeded to eat the entire crab cake. It was filled with crab meat, and the filling was not overpowering. I asked Wendy for her recommendation between the pizza and the calzone. She said she would have the pizza for the first time. I opted for the CAPRICCIOSA pizza that has almost everything. The crust is super thin, which I like because I am more into toppings. I could see them cook my pizza from where I was sitting, and it came to the table as soon as it left the oven. Needless to say, of course, I almost burned myself trying to get it in my mouth. I couldn't help it. The pizza smelled so good, and I was excited. It was worth the temporary numbness. The crust was light, and the toppings were flavorful. I was halfway in before I remembered to take a picture. I am glad I had a chance to stop by here. From a look at the other tables, the past portion sizes were quite large, and everyone seemed to enjoy their food.
