The location is nice and is right across from the Detroit Brew House. There is free parking for Traffic Jam & Snug if you park in their shared lot with Detroit Brew House which is awesome. The inside is HUGE and uniquely decorated. I would love to see this place when it's busy. We went on a weekday night and it was DEAD quiet. The staff were extremely friendly and our waitress was very nice and personable. The drink selection is pretty good and has a nice variety of domestic and craft beer and a nice craft cocktail menu. The bar can make all the classics as well. The food selection is small and eclectic but I like that over a ton of generic things you get at a typical restaurant. They had burgers, sandwiches, nachos, and all the staple fried foods. But they also had Meatloaf, seafood, and Bibimbop. The food was all good. Very fresh as they Are practically farm to table. Nothing was Outstanding besides the black beans on the nachos but nothing was disappointing or bad by ANY means. Mac and cheese was wiped up to us as amazing and while good, was far from amazing. Highly recommended in the Detroit area for a unique eatery.

I held my daughter's rehearsal dinner here and we had a wonderful time and meal. The menu had great variety. One of the best features of the room was the double doors that we opened up. The servers worked very hard to make everyone satisfied. We have been here for a few dinners and enjoyed it each time.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Food was delicious. Tony, our server, was hilarious and a down to earth person.....will come back again just because of Tony and the food. Decor was amazing, love the old school pictures on the walls, the Decor on the ceilings and just the odd and ends Decor all around. Great down to earth, family oriented place to be. If you haven't been to this place in the D, then you haven't lived. Go Go Go.

While I only had the salad personally, the service was top notch and the decor was very nice. Even the food price to portion size was decent for being in Detroit college town. My only gripe was the iced tea, but even that was good. Just know that it always comes pre-infused with an autumn blend of spices sweetened or unsweetened.

Was there for a rehearing dinner where we all pre-ordered and the food was ready for us. This being said, the food was not very impressive. My seafood and sausage pasta with vegetables has 2 shrimp with the tails still on, 4 slices of very mild Cajun sausage and very little veggies . Lots of sauce though. The staff was attentive and friendly, but they did give me the change for the bar bill for the person next to me. Again, this was a pre-ordered dinner prepared ahead of time, so I’m not sure it reflects the overall service of a Traffic Jam & Snug. How ever I just say that I would be reluctant to try this establishment again.

We really enjoyed our stop here. It was a pretty warm day, the building is a little older so it did get quite warm in there. They had fans but not everywhere. We ordered the traffic jam cheese tray. Just featured and asiago blue and smoked Colby mesquite. Both made in-house and delicious. Served with a fig hazelnut compote, could eat a jar of this by itself! The sun-dried tomato bread came out nice and warm what's better on this side. What more can one ask for? Also had the beer flight, the beers are pretty good and did sample the hard cider as well. The menu looks very tempting. Unfortunately we had already eaten prior to going there. Will definitely plan a meal there next time! Love the history of this building and this place! Keep on keepin on! The service was excellent.

Snug does describe the dining areas. There are several dining area alcoves and cozy corners. The entire restaurant appears to be designed with recovered material. Beautiful decor. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The menu however is confusing. Strange combinations kind of a fusion of different foods. The food was under seasoned, even the vanilla ice cream was blaand! The hot wings were just hot, no seasoned flavor. The Irish egg rolls were delicious. The prices were rather high for what is being served. Enjoyed the service and the atmosphere but the food needs some work.

This is a long-time neighborhood pub with good food. The Greek salad is unique and delicious. They make their own cheese and baked goods. Service is friendly and fast.
