Trago Lounge

Certainly one of the better Loungers with pleasant experienced staff, vibrant atmosphere and a cosy back garden. Two visits here and both were enjoyable. Wolverhampton ( Lupo)and Mere Green (Renato) Lounges could learn from this impressive one.

Enjoyed the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious as well. I recommend getting a smoothie, mine was so nice.

The food is really good quality, the decor in the restaurant is quaint and quite fun! The tables can be squished together quite closely sometimes and feel a bit too close but that was on quite a busy evening to be fair!

Trago Lounge is a true culinary haven where every dish is a masterpiece. I've dined here close to ten times, and each visit has been a delightful experience. The breakfasts, rice dishes, and salads are ideal for solo dining, bursting with flavors that tantalize the taste buds. By the way, the Buddha Bowl is a must-try for vegetarians – it's not just good, it's exceptional! The service is impeccable, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. Whether I'm with friends or enjoying a quiet meal alone, Trago Lounge is my go-to. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!

First visit today, very busy when we arrived for lunch. Recommended by our Granddaughter. Ordered food and drinks at our table. This was easy to do. What I liked was the fact you could make additions or changes to the drink or meals. Drinks for example with or without ice. A cheeseburger, items not required for example, no onions or other options. Ordering made simple. Despite the restaurant being almost full, our food and drinks arrived very quickly. Good food and a very good atmosphere, a real buzz

Nice place to meet and eat. Good for friends, family etc. Super friendly staff - Always. Sometimes music could be a little quieter to make for easy conversation, but never bothered me too much. Love it here

I went for the first time today I. Southampton and really loved the place. I sat down in their small garden as it was a nice sunny day and had some drinks plus some of their selections from their tapas. The drinks and food came out promptly and was really tasty. You can either order by the bar or through their app. I am never one to give a 3 start on service however throughout my meal not one of the people working came by to ask if everything was alright and if it was any problems(to clarify it was no problems but this would have given the service a better star and a better costumer service experience) I will come back and will recommend Trago Lounge to my friends.

This is a great place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and high-quality, delicious food. I’ve tried several different dishes for both breakfast and dinner, and every time the meals have been excellent and very tasty.

Trago has really gone downhill over the last 8 months. 45 minutes for a breakfast pancake with so little maple syrup you couldn't taste it over the hard burn pancake. Such a shame to see a great location go downhill, it was a great place to eat and hangout with friends.

Been here several times for brunch & lunch. The food is almost always excellent, and the staff are super friendly. It does often get busy with families who confuse it for a playground, so pick your seats carefully.

There aren't many places where one can sit alone and feel totally comfortable, Trago Lounge is one of them. It's also ideal for large parties, taking your parents for a slap up meal and even when you're really broke, in short, it's an all rouder. It has a decent and varied menu from burgers and brownies, to gorgeous tapas (three for £7 or three and a glass of wine for £8 on Tuesday). As veggie, I love the stuffed bell peppers, or ask at the bar for the pea and feta salad which is so gorgeous they forgot to get it printed on the main menu! My meat eating friends rave about the pork belly and chorizo sausage. I enjoy popping in for a cup of hot chocolate or a really decent coffee during the day. The booze is a bit pricey for me but they have a good selection and I can usually be temped by a glass of wine. The real beauty of Trago Lounge is its atmosphere, it has an array of newspapers or even bored games to choose from as you enter, inviting you to linger as long as you like. During the day the huge windows let the light pour in and in the evening the dimmed lights and candles create an intimate atmosphere. Service is generally speedy thought they do have their off days, and though you order and pay at the bar the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful as they serve your food, so you don't miss the full waiting experience. I went there with a table of 20 for my birthday recently and we were each given a novelty item to distinguish our orders (I had a silver teapot), we didn't have a reservation and they coped admirably. Novelty and charm, combined with delicious food and friendly service make Trago Lounge one of the best places to socialise in Southampton, highly recommended.

Trago Lounge serves a wide range of food, cakes, tapas, coffee, beer and cocktails. In short, there really is something here for everyone. At night time the whole place is lit up with candles in a cosy and personable air, which is romantic, comfortable, classy and relaxed. One of my favourite things about this chain of cafes is the interior design. It's completely to my taste; think old churchy interiors with cosy sofas, candles and chit chat-able tables. The food and drinks here are wonderful; slightly on the expensive side, perhaps, but I've always found that it's worth every penny. A choice selection. Go and enjoy.

Had lunch here about 1 on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. By the time we left at 3 it was quite busy. Good menu but not much of a selection at the bar. Seating and tables a bit rustic but fits neatly with the decor. Nice place. Enjoyed it. Only takes bookings for groups of eight or more but don't know if this is just Sunday's.

Many a pint has been sunk in The Trago. Great friendly manager and staff, great tunes on a loop in the background and a great selection of food on the menu.

Before Trago there was a Pizza Hut. In this Pizza Hut they used to do all you can eat deals. I guess they underestimated the lengths students will go to get their moneys worth as they closed down. Trago doesn't offer all you can eat pizza so hopefully will last a little longer. Don't go to Trago if you want pizza. They don't have any. They do have a good breakfast range and reasonable coffee with a lot of seating. Which is probably why it has become a hotspot for young mums and their baby's on the weekend. Staff are always friendly and will try and accommodate customers whims...unless you want pizza.

Trendy bar to hang out with friends, get some simple food or chill out for a coffee while enjoying the free wifi. I really like the old photos on the wall and the pew chairs to go with the mismatched furniture. This place is for everyone. When I last visited I noticed families, ladies who lunch and an elderly couple playing chess. This place is so welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. Food is good, but nothing special.
