Popped in for some late night drinks. Incredible decor. John Waters and Baltimore would be proud. A little pricey though for some regular stuff. Regardless it is worth it for a stop in if you love kitsch. It was a pleasure. I loved the Tonya Harding shrine. A weird nice touch was that they even had vintage drink machines. Everything was perfectly curated.

I love funky, nostalgic venues and this place checked alllllllll the boxes for me. The frozen margs were delicious, but the decor and aesthetic here was mesmerizing. There’s also bar games and a Photo Booth. Definitely will keep this on my fave stops when I’m in the city.

Let’s check out the cocktail and 2-course meal I explored. Frozen Strawberry Margarita: This frozen margarita may be small in size, but strong enough for a nice solid buzz. The frosty cocktail is mixed with tequila, strawberries, with salt along the rim, a lime, and an umbrella. Mac N’ Cheese Bites: This appetizer includes three fairly large balls. They are breaded on the outside and packed with macaroni and cheese on the inside; also included is a side of queso and salsa. Mother In Law’s Revenge Burger: The toppings on this specialty burger include cheese, chili, jalapenos and sour cream. Although it was loaded with condiments, it was still easy to hold. It has quite a kick. In addition to a decent meal, the vintage decorations truly caught my eye. There is a variety of life size mannequins and statues. The retro machines that are no longer operable, but really neat to admire. It’s like visiting an antique shop except you cannot purchase anything. Seating options extend beside the traditional bar or dining tables. The bartender works both the bar and dining area, so please be patient with the service. Very cute spot in the city, I found this place in 2004 and have been back atleast once a year. Cool and random old school decor that everyone can appreciate. The food is tasty and the drinks are good. Staff is super chill.

This Bar and restaurant was so great had a fun time inside it wasn't what I expected but I love the vibe they have the absolutely best Burgers I can Attest to that but also the bartenders are so nice a must see if you love a fun vibe.They even have tater tots 😋 if you like a fun vibe this is your spot to go to don't be contemplating to Go go it is such a fun vibes and the food is amazing finger food and burp as you please but have a great time cause I know I did for my first time.

I’ve been to Trailer Park Lounge a handful of times over the past 11 years and while I love the kitschy concept, the prices (for what you get) are absolutely out of control. $19 for a comically bad coronarita and $15 for a juice glass worth of Frose is just highway robbery, even for NYC. Judging by the lack of customers, I don’t think I’m alone in the sentiment.

I love this place. The margaritas are not a joke. My brother and I had 1.5 each before we were absolutely piss drunk. The tater tots are so good. I love the ppl who work here. It’s such a gem in nyc that I hope we always have!

Not my style of place, but it was fun. Definitely kitschy. Food was decent, drinks were good (a bit over priced in my opinion), and service was really good and fast.

We loved everything about this place! Our bar tender, LA truly brightened our life. Such a great way to start or end the evening. We came here before a show and had turkey nachos, on LA's suggestion and loved them. Don't miss the famous margaritas! Love love love!!!

A very kitschy place indeed - with subpar food but fun ambience Food: I got the grilled chicken cheesesteak with seeet potatoes. It was just ok! I liked the seeet potato fries but the sandwich was just not that great, but it was filling! Service: good and attentive Price: not too expensive especially given portion sizes Ambience: kitschy to the max! It would be a fun late night spot!

It's New York's idea of trashy southern trailer parks (I do hail from Kentucky). Menu is SUUUPER basic--burgers, sliders, BEC, sloppy joes, trashy trailer park Tex-mex--I mean that in the nicest way possible. Very limited drink menu--only a couple drinks for single people, the rest are large/double drinks for couples, or pitchers for multiple people. Rum, pineapple, frozen margaritas and peach schnapps. You shouldn't expect gourmet cocktails & food in a trailer park. People were enjoying themselves in this dive bar. Surrounded by neon and kitschy props, I enjoyed myself long enough to have one drink and to take some photos. Not a destination, but worth a look!

Upon walking in I had a pretty rough time here. Not sure if it was a communication issue or the bartender just was having a bad day. Whatever it was I did not deserve to be yelled at like a child. So much so the couple next to me apologized for him. I was so uncomfortable. It could of been a lot of factors on why this man was treating and singling me out the way he was, but I don't even care to expend anymore energy on it. It was such a fun looking establishment! I should start off with the fact I came here specially for vibes and drinks during a Monday pre dinner get together with girl friends. So can't say anything about the food but 7 PM Mondays are chill vibes. A few folks sitting but still had a few booths open and plenty of space at the bar. They're popular for their pitchers but didn't get an opportunity to try - I so wanted to try the canned Champagne but they didn't have any but did try their canned wine which was delightful and strong! The atmosphere and decor is really bar none - so fun. Bar tender was attentive and sweet. All around good spot to get a quick drink and catch up. Has a general dive bar feel so just drinking and chilling with friends with a burger or hot dog is what it's all about.

Five stars because it's fun and the world can always use a little more fun. L.A., the bartender, is awesome and there's almost too much hanging on the walls to take in during just one visit, but any place with a framed photo of Daisy Duke and a pink flamingo shower curtain leading to the restrooms is alright with me. I didn't try the food but it looked like there was a decent amount of choices on the menu. I only stayed for one beer because at $10 a pop, I decided it might be time to move on to my next stop. But the decor makes it worth your time to stop in for one if you're in Chelsea!

One of the best bars in midtown + cheap drinks ($8 for a cocktail on a Saturday night) Very kind and attentive staff. They serve a full food menu late into the night, so this is a perfect spot to end to your night of drinking. Young and social crowd - an amazing place to meet some new friends if you are new to the area.

This is not a dive bar. Dive bars do not serve $8.75 draft beers. Other than that, it's a regular bar for the area.

Fun concept. Unsure what the chicken-egg is on this place versus Trailer Park After Dark in San Diego. Def worth a trip! Recommended.

Just went for drinks before a comedy show but saw 3+ cockroaches here crawling on the floor/ wall/ tables, including one on a customer next to me. Amazing ambiance, and a very cool place, just has bugs.

I have been coming here for years but hadn't been in such a long time I needed to go back and get my bearings. Crowning jewel in all of dive bars. Cocktails and drinks that'll knock your socks off. Comfort food straight outta the trailer park. Decor that will keep your eyes busy for hours. Staff that's fun and friendly.

After living in Chelsea for the last eight years, I finally tried Trailer Park Lounge last Saturday and I can't believe what I've been missing out on. Drinks, food, and service were all excellent. LA is the best bartender I've ever encountered in NYC - professional, thoughtful, attentive - just makes you feel welcome. Less than a week later and this place has already become a staple. We'll be back!

Swanky 60's finer / dive bar decor with tasty margaritas. I had a turkey burger and my friend had Mac and cheese. Service was fast and courteous. What made my experience most enjoyable were my friends. But over all it wasn't bad.

The drinks here are great! (Try the mango margarita!) It's a great place to chill and look around. LA is the best bartender my husband and I have ever had! The service is awesome! We will definitely come by again when we're in the city!

The ambiance was stellar! There was posters everywhere, a fake pregnant woman drinking, and so much more! My mom and I were the first customers that day and we were welcomed right in. The food was normal trailer park food (nothing super to report) but the environment was what sold it!

I have no idea why I initially gave this place a 4 star Yelp review several years ago. Maybe they used to have an almost decent happy hour once upon a time. But this is a bar that charges: $6.50 for a flipping can of pbr. You read that right. That's not even a tallboy. The best bang for your buck is the wine in a can ($6) but even that they were pretty much out of and all he had was red wine in a can left. Everything on tap (which is only 3 beers) is $8. I don't think you can order individual cocktails here anymore. It's encouraged to order only pitchers of drinks which will run you $58 for just margaritas/$59 for frozen. What planet am I living on?! This is called TRAILER PARK in the title of the bar. I looked at what a pitcher of margs even consisted of and it was mostly ice is the sad part. I only went in this weekend because my partner had never been and he was curious. I was surprised because I had been at least two or three times but many years ago. The prices here were never great but they were never this bad. I just don't get the schtick of a cheap run down trailer park charging almost sixty dollars for just basic margs. The service was also really weird. We came in and it was hard to find a seat at the bar so we were situated on the end. It took awhile to gain the attention of the bartender and he ran off before checking our vax info. We moved because seats opened up in a less cluttered area. He seemed to get really annoyed and asked for the cards again which were sitting on the counter waiting for him to look at. But he ran off again. When he came back he asked if we were alright and had a problem which was incredibly rude. The rest of the night he was flirting with these two girls that were eating nacho cheese dip and having the time of their lives. So I don't know. Everything was just off putting. I love the kitsch and the decorations. Moon pies ftw.That's awesome. But for being both over-priced and horribly unwelcoming, it's really lost any sense of charm.

The ambiance of the restaurant is definitely the highlight with all of the cool neon signs and Elvis memorabilia. The menu contains a mix of Tex-Mex and American food. However, if you're from Texas lower you expectations on the Tex-Mex, but the food is still good! Overall, great service and ambiance.

A hidden gem around the neighborhood of NYC! This place caught my attention for sure especially the name and when you walk in the vibe just kicked in as well! It is pretty retro vibe and interior as well. It is a awesome dive bar! Came here with two of my bros. We order the mango margarita to share and a large tator tots as well. The portion are big so yeah! It is a good spot to hang and party! Great service and will come back here if I'm around the area. This is the place to be!

Stopped in here less than thirty minutes ago to what used to be (emphasis added) one of my favorite establishments in the city when I lived here. I'm not sure where the wires got crossed, but I was met with a bartender who was incredibly aggressive to me. I was looking to meet a friend who had never been here for a drink before our rec sports league, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Anyway, I walked in and walked straight to the bar to try to order a drink. Was directed where to sit and asked where I was sitting twice (truth be told, I hadn't chosen a seat but wanted to take in the lawn chairs outside) I mentioned that, and was asked who I was with. Taken aback, I quickly answered that I was alone (which was true - I was meeting someone who hadn't arrived yet) Still, I apparently gave another wrong answer when I attempted to order two Miller High Lifes, because I was met with more questions from staff, who asked why I was ordering two drinks when I was alone. Thats enough for me. This may have even been management who was treating me this way, I'm not sure. All I'm sure of is (1) I walked in; (2) didn't speak to or bother a soul; (3) still couldn't get served without a judgmental (and honestly, weird) line of questioning. Don't worry, Trailer Park Lounge, I won't be returning.

My partner and I stopped in to get some food to go before our film started at the SVA theater They seemed a little busy and there were signs that there was going to be a private event in a couple hours posted. We weren't really greeted just sat ourselves at the bar and waited for the person manning the bar to acknowledge us. He asked us if he were ready to order despite not handing over any menus and then made a sarcastic comment when we pointed that out. My partner got a cheeseburger on Texas toast with sweet potato fries and I got the cheeseburger with tator tots. On the menu it says the burgers come with a choice or tator tots or sweet potato fries but we were charged extra despite the wording on the menu. Both of our burgers were extremely undercooked and our order was about $45. Very underwhelming experience and will not be returning here again

A great, mellow place to grab a drink. The bartender was great and super attentive. The decor and overall feel is super cozy and fun. Would recommend catching a few drinks and some tunes here with friends.

Overpriced - we ordered a pitcher of a mediocre margarita that came with plastic solo cups and was charged over $60 dollars. There are better options for less money.

Finally made it to this place after wanting to come her for years. Came right after they opened so not many people but loved it. The music and vibe was what I was hoping for. Got the guac and chips and it was great. Have to come back to try the sliders. The bartender LA was so friendly and welcoming. I definitely will be back!

Came here with a large group post work event and it was certainly interesting. If you want a no nonsense place for a beer or a seltzer in a setting like no other, give this place a shot. Overall it was fine enough and got the job done

The Trailer Park Lounge is a really fun spot for drinks in Chelsea with lots of personality and kitsch. We stopped in late on a Saturday evening for a couple tequila shots and beers, and enjoyed looking at the memorabilia that lined the walls, a well-curated collection that was a little bit Southern, a little bit Texas, a little bit Wild West and seemed to span the decades. Although we didn't eat, the menu looked fun and I can imagine they do some pretty mean bar snacks. I wouldn't mind coming back for a frozen marg next time I am in the area.

Get your Trailer Park best white tank top on, and mosey into this shrine to tackiness! I seriously laugh every time I think of this bar, and smile every time I am in it. Kitsch content turned up to 11! There is so much attention to detail you can find something different every time you walk in. Elvis velvet paintings, mannequins, posters, old beer signs, old tv's, and it goes on and on. Best part is to grab a lawn chair seat in front of the old RV they have parked in here - you can't make this stuff up. Burgers here have that real charcoal grilled taste, and the sweet potato fries have a nice cinnamon flavor to them. Tater tots too! Ice cold cans/bottles of PBR, Schaeffer, and Rheingold add to the trashiness of it all. Plus, they have a few different margarita pitchers on the menu, but they can get really pricey. Stick to the beers. Happy hour from 4-7 with cheap beers! They even sell Moon Pies here! Real Southern dive charm. If you are looking for somewhere different to hang out and like all things kitsch this is a great choice.

Staff fits the trash theme. Came yesterday with a group for St Pattys Day and it took the bartender 10 minutes to acknowledge us, and when he did he screamed at us for our IDs very rudely. Didn't seem like they wanted our business so I did them the favor and went elsewhere to spend our money- and had an amazing time. Pro tip: Don't treat customers like children and maybe your bar wouldn't be empty. And $60 for a pitcher of margarita? Are you joking? Take yourself to Tequila Chito's down the block and get $5 beers and $7 margaritas. You're welcome.

This place is so cool. There's no shortage of things to look at and the theme is amazing. We got margaritas and stayed for a few hours. They were pretty strong, I didn't end up drinking mine and the bartender was kind enough not to charge me. He was super nice and personable. Overall I would definitely come back to this place and I would get the nachos cuz we kept smelling them and they looked amazing.

So strange I've been there before with my service animal BUT a lady today with a green sweater said even with a service animal who assists me with my epilepsy symptoms cannot join me inside.... I asked her three times via the language within my rights as a disabled person if she is sure I cannot come inside. To my knowledge and research this is action to which is able to be sued upon (per my lawyer friends). So disappointing I've been here three times with my service animal whose service is they alert me when a seizure is to happen and protects when when so. To not allow my service animal or nausea is legally considered non lawful. So sad. I really did enjoy the atmosphere in there EXCEPT WHEN I WAS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE BECAUSE OF MY DISABILITY. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that she said what she said and I cannot speak to the manager.... This was such a staple or my New York experience, even as a disabled person, and now it is certainly not. I hope they train their employees better per national and state laws.

Walking around on a hot, stench filled NYC afternoon, like only the city can serve up NOTHING but a COLD BEER will be able to bring me back to life. Found this little place, walked in to the COOL AC n Neat atmosphere. Greeted by a very lovely and attractive bartender. " Hey there , what can I get you ??" A " Nice COLD Budweiser would be perfect ". I looked around and loved the whole vibe of the place. Elvis on the bar ... the front room bowling alley lounge ... the eclectic decor which is too numerous too mention, but I did see a picture of BILLY CARTER of Billy Beer Fame n brother of President Jimmy Carter. AND they had half a trailer in the wall AWESOME. Paid by $7.50 and took a long swing of WARM BEER.. Come on guys n girls , it's a simple fix . Make sure the beer is COLD. Not upset just so disappointing. I'll recommend n I'll come back but NEXT TIME only serve COLD BEER

Ok guys, this place gets stars just for all the weird eclectic stuff on the walls. What a fun place! As a Rhode Islander, I think the prices for the booze were a little on the high side...but, this is New York, baby! YOLO, I guess. If you catch happy hour, you can get a couple of decently priced specials. Our bartender's name was Hannah. She was great! Answered all our questions, gave us suggestions of what to do in the neighborhood, joked around with us, & treated us like old friends. Our cups were never empty. The drinks were pretty tasty...not too watered down, which was a relief. And we even got an order of tater tots with bacon and cheese on it...wow! Just the perfect food for barhopping. When we weren't shooting the breeze with each other, we were all just in the enamored looking at all of the stuff on the walls. Had us laughing our butts off. Next time we are in the city again, we are definitely coming back!

From the outside, I had no idea what we would be in for when entering. This place has such a fun and full theme. There is so much attention to ridiculous details here that it is actually somewhat honorable. Every piece of decor screams trailer park (including the blue toilet outside the bar for "butts") My husband and I sat at the bar and enjoyed the tchotchkes all over the bar/ behind the bar/ on the ceiling/ on the walls/ EVERYWHERE. We only had beers, so I cannot attest to the food. We had fun and enjoyed our time here !

We took a long walk to this place because it looked interesting and the reviews stated they had good margaritas. If you are going strictly for the kitschy atmosphere, this place is for you. The food is marginal and nothing to write home about. Plus it's really expensive for the quality. We were also disappointed in the drinks and they are tiny.

An authentically cool place in the heart of Chelsea. Loved ducking into the lounge on a chilly November night, and tucked into a cozy booth to enjoy a pitcher of frozen margarita. We were made to feel welcome and taken care of. Everything is crammed inside and so much color and light to take in, and somehow, it just all works. It is kitchsy, not cheesy. Will return next time Im in the neighborhood for the bar food and more margaritas!

Okay I get that this place is trailer park themed, but I'm pretty sure that the salsa that comes with the chips is straight up just a bowl of hot sauce. Seriously. It's just a bowl of hot smooth sauce. There's no definition; no visible delineation of ingredients. Just a saucy paste. Perhaps some variation of sriracha? I've seen better attempts of cheap salsa in children's snack packs. Don't get me wrong, I ate most of it, because no shame, but still, I expected a little bit more. They have a decent happy hour from 4-6 with $4 PBR, $6 rocks margaritas, & $7 frozen margs. I stuck with margaritas on the rocks. Although it comes in small glass, it still packs a punch. However, I tried my friend's frozen marg which was much too sweet, but stronger than its unfrozen sibling. The waitress I had was super friendly and kept the drinks coming (the "salsa" got real good after a few margs). As for the rest of the menu, it's pretty limited unless you're looking for a sandwich, which they have plenty of. I'd love to see more options for sides & appetizers. I was looking for some wings or fried pickles to fix my cravings, but it seems like trailer parks in Manhattan are a tad but different than in my native Florida. Anyways, cheers.

We found this bar on yelp! Great reviews and cute themed. I wouldn't say it's "trailer park" themed, more like 60s theme. There is enough junk and memorabilia on the walls to keep you looking for hours! And there is a pretend trailer up against the way. Super fun stuff. Happy hour available and food! Check out the pregnant mannequin smoking a cigarette above the bar. Or the topless mannequin popping out of the beer tub. There is even an old Aqua Net hair spray dispenser by the bathrooms. Some seriously interesting stuff. Definitely a place to check out, at least for one drink. Lots of great photo opportunities mixed with good drinks!

I was in New York for 3 days, in my 3 days I came here twice. I'm a big fan of everything here. The sign outside is a retro styled and gives you a hint of what you're in for. The door to get in and transport you into this hilariously themed bar. There's a trailer on the back wall. There's green awning above the bar, there's a bathtub full of ice and beers in it that the bartenders actively use. The bartenders are absolutely amazing here. The are attentive every single time I wanted a drink. Overall; If I ever find myself in New York again, this will be a definite stop!

Was here a while ago and had an amazing experience with 2 friends. Really good food but more notably, a great vibe that you can't find in Chelsea anywhere else. To the owner- if you are reading this, I just heard you on Carton and Roberts which reminded me of your spot.

I was so excited to try this bar, and it did not disappoint! Such good vibes and good strong drinks! Got the frozen marg and it was fantastic. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review was being told that this happy hour sign was a vintage sign and not an actual offer, even though it's written in chalk! (And from other reviews I can see this is in fact a valid happy hour). If you don't plan on honoring the happy hour deal, just take down the sign!

If it's vintage and tacky, I'm in love, so Trailer Park Lounge stole my heart. Every possible surface, nook and cranny boasts some sort of vintage kitsch or memento that reminds us how some relics are so bad, they're good. The atmosphere is so inviting, and there is just so darn much to look at. The food was good, and the bar area was packed, so I'll speculate that their libations do not disappoint either. Great date night spot, as conversation-starters literally surround patrons, and we all look better in darker lighting!

suuuch a fun bar! love everything about trailer park lounge - the decor, the drinks, the food, the bartenders, everything! really makes you feel like you're in a trailer park lol it's so fun! there's a great selection of beers and cocktails. the margaritas are so good and STRONG (beware lol). i always get tater tots when i go and they are amazing! so crispy and salty they make the perfect snack! this bar is one of our favorite places to come with a group of friends for a good time! highly recommend.

Solid NYC Dive bar. Was in a cab heading through slow traffic when I spotted this place. I told the cabbie "let us off here, I have to go in this place." The campy 50s-60s Rt. 66 motif grabbed me for sure, but it was also a great watering hole. Cool clientele, mediocre service. The food looked great, though. Just an old-style burger/bar food joint, but sometimes that's what you really need. That can be more satisfying that a high-priced trendy place somewhere. The only drawback is that they don't open until 4PM. I wanted to stop there before I left town. I'll definitely remember this place when I'm back in the area.

What's not to love? It's a great dive bar, strong drinks (the specialty of the house is a margarita) and friendly service. Stopped in with a group with the intention of having a quick drink and to meet some folks - ended up staying about four hours. Sat at the bar the whole time. Vaccine cards were checked, so they're being safe. Next time I'm in NYC/Chelsea, I'll definitely stop in again.
