Tram-Tram

"Tram-Tram is a classically furnished restaurant, the name of which pays homage to this old form of transport. Updated traditional cuisine along with the occasional international dish, plus a tasting menu option." - Michelin Inspector

It was really a nice experience to go back to Tram-Tram after many years abroad. The food (fish (squid from a boat) and meat (sirloin)) and the atmosphere (very well decorated, clean, very subtle music) were absolutely tantalizing. It is one of these gems that keep a very high standards. Worth to go there.

From the moment we stepped into Tram-Tram, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance of the restaurant is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, setting the stage for an extraordinary dining experience. We opted for the Tasting Menu, and it was a smart decision. Each dish was a testament to the chef's expertise and the region's rich culinary heritage blended with modern technique and pairing. The ceviche, razor clams, catch of the day, and the lamb demonstrated that perfectly. These dishes were not only our favorites but also showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients used. A highlight of the Tasting Menu at Tram-Tram is its inclusive approach to the main dishes. Rather than having to choose, we were delighted to find that every main dish item was served to all diners. This allowed us to savor the full range of the chef's creations without the fear of missing out. Tram-Tram is not just a meal; it's a culinary adventure that leaves you perfectly satiated. For anyone looking to indulge in the finest flavors of Sarrià, this restaurant is a must-visit. My wife and I give it a well-deserved five stars!

The food was amazing. I am normally not a huge fish person, but the way this was done was outstanding. The service was even better. They were attentive, and very accommodating. The price was great for a menu degustacion (tasting menu). I will definitely go back and try more. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wish that I could give the servers tips with a card.

We often enjoy fine dining, and this is the 2nd time eating here (after several years). The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant. The food was fine. But it seemed like the menu degustación has been on repeat for many years without upgrading or innovation. The presentation was how you would expect, but unfortunately the flavors didn’t excite us. The 2 men that served us, seemed a bit rushed and time wasn’t given to us. I’d rather do a menu elsewhere.

What an unexpected surprise. Food was SUPERB and service was very good. The razor clams, artichokes, steak tartar, the cheesecake ice cream... well, everything was delicious.

Great ambiance and presentation, unfortunately 50% of the food was disappointing or not special at all. Having been to several Michelin or fusion restaurants and seeing the star ratings and price of Tram Tram, we’d expected more.

Cosy and romantic, family-run restaurant, a bit off the main track but definitely worth a visit! The food and service was great, can highly recommend and will definitely go back!

Amazing food and wine and top notch service, for a very reasonable price. If you are on a budget but still want a proper Michelin experience, you MUST go here. A highlight of my stay in Barcelona.

Yelp
We had a reservation for this establishment and came 3 minutes early and the owner said they were closed. We had email confirmation. When we showed him the email confirmation he said he couldn't speak English and rudely walked away from us.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place an decided to eat for a late lunch. Our group ordered the "Taste of Summer" consisting of several appetizers, entrees and a dessert. My favorite was the tune burger, served over couscous which was delicious and left me nearly licking the bowl. Though other notable items were their octopus and fruit, and wrapped fowl. Everything was spot on and delicious. Our server, Hector, was very polite and attentive the entire meal. We are out on the terrace which was quaint and beautiful. While it was slightly pricy, about $130 euros for three of us (and we didn't order any wine) it was definitely worth the trip and one of the best places to visit here in Barcelona.

Yelp
What a great night! The tasting menu was great, the service was spot on, and the over all experience was one of the best we had in Barcelona. The hotel had recommended Tram Tram when we requested something new and out of the ordinary and the menu didn't deliver. The tasting menu included "3 textures of pumpkin" (steamed, creamed, and foamed) and octopus fruit salad - and was tremendous over all. The only bummer of the night was that the patio was full so we ate in the dining room. (The plus side was that we were the only diners in there, so it was like having a private meal.) If you go during the warmer months, call ahead and get a table on the patio - it looked amazing. Overall - really great. The only reason not 4 stars is that not all of the dishes blew us away. But yum!
