They have dancing lessons on Fridays during the summer. We went to the line dancing one and there were loads of people there! The instructors were great and fun!

Meeting place to catch the Potomac Water Taxi from the Wharf. Destinations include Georgetown (DC), Old Town Alexandria (VA), and National Harbor (MD). $20 one way, $33 roundtrip.

The first time at the Southwest Waterfront, the Turkish Festival of Washington, DC pulled it off, in my humble opinion, with high marks. I was at the same location the day before this event, where an Octoberfest was held. So their setup could not even begin, until that festival had cleared. The Transit Pier reminded me of an actual bazaar you might experience in one of the bigger cities in Turkey.

Very pretty space along the waterfront. Nice water fountains for kids and dogs and beautiful views from the pier. Most of the restaurants were pricey and be ready to spend a LOT on parking!

Wonderful experience. Open fresh fish markets with food prepared right there. Delicious and interesting place.

Pier with public restrooms, ticket booth for the water taxi. Also the pier in winter has an ice rink, warm months is used for events, yoga, relaxing in chairs. Great spot for sunset. There is a snack bar open via cantina Bambi . There is also the tix booth for the anthem. It gets busy. Great spot to watch the water taxis and people watch.

Usually great live music, a beautiful view of the sunset, and overall very chill vibes (sometimes it can be insanely packed - it was nuts during the cherry blossom fest).
