"I learned that Transit Tees’s Andersonville location (5226 N. Clark Street) is also carrying the Chicago Handshake Drinking Card Game, which is available for presale online for $22 as part of the retailer’s collaboration with CH Distilleries." - Naomi Waxman

Google
Such a neat little store! All the good Chicago souvenirs but from the actual parts of lived in Chicago, not just the tourist destinations. Each item for sale seems to have such character and its just---fun! Definitely recommend this shop.

If you’re visiting or looking for the cutest, most niche Chicago gifts for someone from out of town, this is the perfect place. It is my go-to for buying practical Chicago-centric gifts or bringing friends who visit.

Have a buddy who battled cancer for three years. Before another round of chemo, we had a big weekend in Chicago. He was a friend to everyone. A real ally. In my mind he’s an honorary Chicagoan. Strong and gentle. Hater of only hate. At his funeral, his wife asked everyone to bring a decal to affix to his urn. Chris at transit tees was so nice as to offer one to me free of charge. Thanks Chris. RIP Carlos. I’ll def be back to Transit Tees and will ask everyone who visits us in Aville to do the same.

I loved this little shop! I must have scoured every inch to make sure I saw it all. Who ever started this business would probably be my best friend 🤣

Google
Lots of cool, unique souvenirs I haven't seen anywhere else, and reasonably priced! The guy at the counter was also cool and had a nice playlist going.

They have a lot of cool gifts, souvenirs and games as well! Staff are so kind and prices are reasonable! Great place to get a friend a gift for the Holidays!

This is a cool little store with assorted knickknacks that are perfect as souvenirs for us out-of-towners. The sales clerk was so nice; she answered all our questions and even gave us tips on places we might want to visit. Will definitely stop by again the next time we find ourselves in this beautiful city.

The BEST Chicago gifts! I will always go here to buy a gift when someone moves out of town, and when I do- I always find something fun to buy myself it my husband. They truly get Chicagoans! I recommend Transit Tees for both gifts and for impulse buys that will bring a smile to your face and remind you how much you love Chicago. We just played their Chicago Transit Adventure tonight- so much fun plus you learn about new places in the city too!

Yelp
Transit Tees is the BEST place to find Chicago goods. The team is great and friendly and I will continue ordering from them always!

Yelp
This is where to go if someone wants something with Chicago theme, from beanies to Tshirts to tea towels. A long narrow shop with more in at than meets the eye. The prices are on and everyone working is friendly.

Yelp
I was looking for some unique souvenirs when another shop owner pointed me to transit tees. The staff kindly greeted me and everyone that stepped into the store. They have a great selection of Chicago branded souvenirs, most made in Chicago. I found exactly what I needed for friends and family. Make sure to stop in here if you need some fun take home gifts.

Yelp
If you are obsessed with Chicago like my family is you will like Transit Tees. I normally see the general Chicago signs and other souvenirs when I am Downtown but it was nice to get more neighborhood type items. I love that you can buy general Chicago items while also focusing in on a neighborhood or train stop. I ended up getting some heavy duty shot glasses that highlighted the various train colors that we have in the city. It was cool because I could easily see myself pulling them out during a party and use having a conversation around them. Since the shop has so many variations of the things they offer you can easily find some type of deal if you buy multiples of the item. I was able to get all the colors of the trains for a reasonable amount compared to how much it would cost if I bought them separately. I will definitely come back to get the neighborhood specific posters. This is a great place to go for souvenirs and gifts for people that love Chicago!

Yelp
I came across Transit Tees one day while searching google for a card game related to Chicago. Transit Tees was selling a game called LOOP and I had to have it. I ordered it and played it with some friends last Christmas. All my friends loved it and asked me where I got it. I think they have a new game (board game) coming out this holiday and I'm definitely going to make sure to pick that one up too to enjoy with friends. During my visit here a couple came in and asked if the game was in stock. Its already very popular and hasn't even been released yet! The folks at Transit Tees are super creative and clever with their product designs, t-shirt designs, and their originally created games. I especially enjoy that their focus is on the city and not politics. They've got posters, t-shirts, bags, shirts (long/shirt sleeve), cups, stickers, pins, and a whole bunch more! Make sure to check out their website before coming to the store because not all of their products are displayed on the floor. I was looking for the Fresh Coast t-shirt. It wasn't on the floor but the employee was able to find the t-shirt in their back storage area. Love this place!!!

Yelp
I've been to the Wicker Park location, and this location does not disappoint. Chicago L related tees, magnets, stickers, tchotkes, this store warmed my heart, especially now that I no longer live and commute in Chicago. Who remembers the Red Line or Blue Line smelling like pee or a barn at 8am? All is forgiven! You're my boy, Blue! I picked up some L magnets, and stuff, and service was helpful but not hovery, and I was given a cool coaster coupon for my next visit!

Yelp
I couldn't believe my luck when my bus dropped off right in front of a transit themed store (I'm a bit of a transit nerd). I went inside and was not disappointed. They have T-shirts, mugs, glasses, cards, socks, posters, notebooks and other Chicago transit-themed gifts. I ended up buying Loop, a transit themed card game. It's like Uno but with CTA stations. We played that night and everyone from age 28-68 thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to return again when I'm back in town!

Yelp
Finally pulled the trigger and bought an adorable midwest themed pillow! I've only looked at it (and held it and squeezed it and lovingly caressed it) on two prior visits so I figured it was time I purchased. I'm so happy with it! It features a soft felt backing and it's looking perfect on my oversized chair. Sure you could say it's a shop primarily for tourists, but it's great for adding a touch of the city to your home, even if you live here! I'll be back!

Yelp
Love this store! I also stop in here for a good Chicago themed gift. Just got an amazing chance the snapper ornament!!!

Yelp
Cute stuff but the staff is a little snooty. And it would be helpful if they didn't stand and socialize in front of the merchandise, so you could actually see it.
