From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm vibes, delicious aromas, and an inviting atmosphere that defies its “trap” name. Here’s the rundown on what we tried: Food: 1. Spinach Dip: Let me tell you—this was the freaking bomb! The creamy dip paired with perfectly toasted herb crostini was an absolute game-changer. I honestly don’t think I can go back to eating spinach dip with chips or regular bread ever again (no joke, lmbo)! 2. Trap Star Sampler: This is a must-have for groups! Ti did not hold back on portion sizes here; this platter is more than enough to pass for an entree. Be careful not to over-indulge—there’s a real risk you’ll fill up before you get to your main course! 3. Whiting Fish & Grits: The flavors here were on point! The grits were silky smooth with just the right amount of creaminess, and they carried the smoky, savory, and cajun flavors beautifully. Two big pieces of crispy, golden-battered fish sealed the deal. Every bite was pure joy! Drinks: • Gucci Mane Green Tea and City Girl Sangria were both solid drink choices. Refreshing and flavorful without being too heavy, they complemented the meal perfectly. Customer Service: Erin, our server, was a delight—attentive, friendly, and full of positive energy. Plus, the manager on duty (around 7 pm on 11/12/2024) was super professional and welcoming. This place clearly values excellent service. Shoutout to the Cooks: Whoever’s in the kitchen is not playing around—these chefs are throwing down! The flavors, the presentation, everything was on point. You can tell Ti’s got some serious talent curating this menu. Overall Environment: Don’t let the name fool you—the vibe here is far from “trap” in the traditional sense. It’s fun, interactive, laid-back, and perfect for all occasions. The crowd was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Honestly, I felt so proud of Ti, like I personally knew him! Final Verdict: 10/10, highly recommend. Whether you’re coming in for a quick bite, drinks with friends, or a special night out, Ti’s Trap City Cafe has something for everyone. We had a great time, food was on point, drinks were strong, and our waitress Gigi was sweet and attentive. Though I didn't get to meet T.I., his energy was felt through and through.

First & foremost theres about 3 to 4 doors to enter the establishment but none directing you to which door you actually enter into which was kind of frustrating. The establishment gives sports bar vibes & the food was just okay nothing we would recommend coming back to or putting into rotation. As an appetizer we ordered the chicken money rolls which were great , two orders of the Shawty Lo Lamb Chops one with dry black eye peas w/rice & cabbage & the other with overly sweet collard greens & very salty mac & cheese. We also ordered the rich boy po boy & it was just ok again nothing to brag about. Bottled water is $5 (no other water is avaliable) the sweet tea didn't taste like sweet tea.We specially asked about lemonade the waitress stated they did sale lemonade & she called out the different flavors they had but never mentioned and extra cost for the flavor we learned about that on our bill. FYI There's a 20% auto gratuity regardless of the party size, theres also a 10% auto gratuity for carry out and they also charge a service fee if paying by card. Overall I think my expectations were too high and I really wanted to experience T.I's establishment but I'm good if we never went back.

Desaray was very polite & beautiful. Being I was visiting from out of town & a 1st timer at the Trap for my birthday she showed mad love. Hey she is a Scorpio too so I expected her to have a beautiful spirit & hospitality... I definitely would suggest this spot to my friends & family back home. Jacktown. MS!!!

The atmosphere was great. Good music and entertainment. The guy going around doing tricks is a keeper! The servers were beautiful and nice. The food was ok. I could tell everything is home made back there and that's a plus. The spinach dip lacked flavor. The shrimp tacos tasted alright. The salmon croquettes were not my favorite. Lacked flavor and was beer battered which I didn't expect. the shrimp amd grits tasted real good. Whoever is in the back cooking the grits knew what the assignment! Drinks were nice and strong. Overall, good experience and I would definitely come back to try more.

(This is my personal experience) I was in Georgia with my family on a business trip. During some downtime, we wanted to visit one of the Atlanta local restaurants. We were riding around the neighborhood when we came across Trap City Cafe. We parked, entered the building, and were greeted by a pleasant young lady. She told us to sit wherever we wanted. After getting our table, the waitress came over and informed us we could view the menu by scanning a QR code. As we were viewing the menu, we noticed T.I. was in the building. He did greet us and welcome us to his establishment. My children were happy to see him in person. He was asked if he didn't mind taking a photo with me and my children, and he told us to just enjoy the food and the atmosphere, and he would let us know. He was there maybe another 5 minutes, and he left. That put a damper on the experience because my children were a little disappointed. Had he said no or maybe another time, it would not have left them with a feeling of anticipation and disappointment. (Maybe we caught him on a bad day for pics🤷‍♀️) Besides that, our waitress was very nice, she checked on us as we were eating our meal. (Thank You)🙏🏽 The food was good, I just wish the salmon was bigger.

I was honestly super surprised at the service I received here. The bartender was not only beautiful but also super nice and very attentive! The exact opposite of some of these places I've been, (College Park, I'm lookin at you!) She pointed out the happy hour menu and suggested a sauce to me that was better than what I'd ordered for my food. I ordered the shrimp po boy and fries, and everything was so good! Didn't break the bank either! I'd definitely go back!

Always great energy! Never know who’s going to come through. TIP was there and showed ahavah. All the workers are nice. Just all around great atmosphere. I selected 100$+ because I had drinks and purchased a drink for someone at the bar plus a tip.
