ZERO STARS – This place is an absolute joke.
Trap City Cafe in Atlanta gave me one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. If I could give zero stars, I would. Honestly, this place doesn’t even deserve a star-shaped crumb.
We waited over 45 minutes for lunch—not some gourmet seven-course dinner, just a basic meal in the middle of the day. I ordered wings and fries. Simple enough, right? Nope. When the food finally dragged its sad self to our table, it was stone cold. The wings were dry, shriveled, and ridiculously tiny (see photo)—my friend joked they were quail wings and I actually believed them. That’s how tragic it was.
I asked for a sweet tea, and the waitress brought me a Robert Palmer (???), left it there, never replaced it, and still had the nerve to charge me for it. She never once came back to check on us. No refills, no apologies, no clue what she was doing. The service was nonexistent.
When she finally brought the check, she did this weird dramatic monologue of everything we ordered, then scrolled past the tip section so fast I didn’t even catch that they’d already snuck in a 20% gratuity. No heads-up, no transparency, just a quiet little hustle at the end of a horrible meal.
To top it all off, the place felt cheap and thrown together. The bathroom doors don’t even have locks. I’ve seen better setups at highway rest stops.
This place SUCKED. Absolutely do not waste your money, time, or appetite here. Cold food, trash service, shady tipping practices, and a vibe that screams “we don’t care.” Avoid at all costs.
