13 Celebrity-Owned Restaurants In Atlanta, Ranked - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"If you’re into long pat-down lines and $40 self-parking lots, then by all means hit up T.I.’s Trap City Cafe off Northside Drive on the weekend. We might reserve a table on Wednesday’s comedy night, so we can hookah and holler in slightly more chill conditions. Come then and you might score a table near the dimly-lit makeshift stage, grab a $19 cocktail, and peruse a menu of playfully-named items (Shawty Lo Lamb Chops, anyone?). But all jokes aside, there’s a sophistication to the tangy but terrific blackened salmon sliders. And the chicken egg rolls provide the sort of kick you’ll happily want to come back to." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard

All I have to say is that if TI would ever go to a restaurant and his food looked and tasted like mine and it cost $175, he’d be furious so I’m asking him to please fix the quality and pricing of the food expeditiously. Also don’t ever give customers cheap plastic to go silverware if they are eating in. Lastly for the love of god get some Hennessy!!! How are you the trap cafe without any cognac of any kind in this establishment. One bright spot though was that he was there and he’s was very approachable .

Before you step foot out your vehicle. $20 to park! These businesses will definitely nickel and dime you. Food was good. I think they may take the trap theme too far because eating with plastic utensils in a restaurant is crazy. Couldn’t even eat my pasta. Then they give you baby sippy cups for your non alcoholic for 4.00 which is filled with ice so more like a shot of sprite. Gone in one gulp! I didn’t even get a refill due to lack of service coming over. Also, it took 20 minutes for a server to even come over. Mind you they weren’t busy, it was pretty empty. Wings were smaller than those baby wings from American Deli lol

I am "really Ol School." But I am TOTALLY impressed with these young people. The Divas and Gents Bicycle group went here for dinner. Our server Erin and their team lead did a wonderful job with our large group. They were kind and professional. The food was delish and I really enjoyed myself. I ordered the turkey burger and it was way better than I expected. They made sure our we had a great time. Thank you!

Well to start i made reservations on a Saturday for 7:15pm upon arriving trying to figure out where to park, the parking area SUCKS it's extremely small and they had the nerve to charge $20 for parking come on now TI you'll have to go their to see what im talking about as far as parking, after getting parked entering the inside no one was their to greet us, so making those reservations was pointless even tho we had reservations it didn't matter anyway because when I tell you there wasn't nobody in their, so we seated ourselves wherever we wanted, after waiting for about 10 minutes at a table we just went and sat at the bar to hopefully get waited on, so now were sitting at the bar the waitress/ bartender served us a drink and took our order 15 minutes later our food arrived we were both hungry we got the $29 Tower everything was good except the turkey sliders they were just bland no kind of seasoning on the turkey so then she never came back to check on us her focus was on the VIP area that was on the other side of the bar so TI the food was on point but the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS 🤔 hummm bad customer service but good food how do I rate this place ill give Trap City Cafe a #5

Cute place. Our waitress Kris was awesome! We ordered chicken tenders and fries, black bean burger with fries and fried broccoli, chicken pasta, lemon pepper wings and Gouda Mac and cheese. Trouble trouble (drink) . Everything was delicious.the dj was good , service was great. I’d definitely go back.

Ohhkay. My hubby’s a huge TI fan so when we planned a trip to ATL he was excited. I appreciate TI representing his city and giving back to the community. Now, Trap City Cafe needs a bit more finesse. We got 2 bottles of water and 2 Alfredo pastas (clean and dirty). Dirty means they sprinkle the tiniest bit of Cajun seasoning ever and the bill was $75. No garlic bread or nothing. I do not mind paying for a good meal, in fact, I expect it when I go out. The food was just a’ight, the parking fee of $20 was off putting. The photographer was really nice, guests get their pictures taken for purchase. That was another $20. We won’t be back but at least my husband can say he went.

The food was not good. The omelettes were unseasoned and they used egg beaters. The grits tasted weird and were oddly soft like almost liquidy. The waiter wasn’t very costumer friendly and didn’t seem to have experience. And I can’t believe they gave use plastic utensils! I couldn’t believe it when I saw the receipt, which came out to be $80 and don’t get me started on the $20 parking. I get the trap house theme, but it felt like we were in a club.
