13 Celebrity-Owned Restaurants In Atlanta, Ranked - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"If you’re into long pat-down lines and $40 self-parking lots, then by all means hit up T.I.’s Trap City Cafe off Northside Drive on the weekend. We might reserve a table on Wednesday’s comedy night, so we can hookah and holler in slightly more chill conditions. Come then and you might score a table near the dimly-lit makeshift stage, grab a $19 cocktail, and peruse a menu of playfully-named items (Shawty Lo Lamb Chops, anyone?). But all jokes aside, there’s a sophistication to the tangy but terrific blackened salmon sliders. And the chicken egg rolls provide the sort of kick you’ll happily want to come back to." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard

Thanks to all my followers I’m now over 40 million views ❤️ Follow @bossytravell on IG and TikTok and @places to vacation on fb for video and pic reviews places to vacation and discounts on travel! I’m in ATL visiting and decided to check this cafe out and Everything was great! Erin our waitress was wonderful and fun! She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was excellent and our drinks were delicious ( no watered down juicy juice) adult drinks! The vibe was chill and it’s beautiful inside and out! I would give Trap city cafe all 10’s! And I’m probably coming back tomorrow to eat again before I leave the city!

Cute place. Our waitress Kris was awesome! We ordered chicken tenders and fries, black bean burger with fries and fried broccoli, chicken pasta, lemon pepper wings and Gouda Mac and cheese. Trouble trouble (drink) . Everything was delicious.the dj was good , service was great. I’d definitely go back.

The customer service was amazing I am going to say that first. The drinks were really good too. I had a very bad experience here and wish I could get my money back. Paying for parking here was just wrong and high. The security guard at the door was not very friendly and did not acknowledge us as customers. When we walked in there was trash on the floor. I understand the Trap House Theme, but it was more cr*ack house. I did not like any of my food which was the lamb chops with two sides. The only side I liked was the broccoli and fried green tomatoes. I will not be back and go at your own risk. It is not kid friendly as they allow Hookah smoke and the music is trap rap of course.

ZERO STARS – This place is an absolute joke. Trap City Cafe in Atlanta gave me one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. If I could give zero stars, I would. Honestly, this place doesn’t even deserve a star-shaped crumb. We waited over 45 minutes for lunch—not some gourmet seven-course dinner, just a basic meal in the middle of the day. I ordered wings and fries. Simple enough, right? Nope. When the food finally dragged its sad self to our table, it was stone cold. The wings were dry, shriveled, and ridiculously tiny (see photo)—my friend joked they were quail wings and I actually believed them. That’s how tragic it was. I asked for a sweet tea, and the waitress brought me a Robert Palmer (???), left it there, never replaced it, and still had the nerve to charge me for it. She never once came back to check on us. No refills, no apologies, no clue what she was doing. The service was nonexistent. When she finally brought the check, she did this weird dramatic monologue of everything we ordered, then scrolled past the tip section so fast I didn’t even catch that they’d already snuck in a 20% gratuity. No heads-up, no transparency, just a quiet little hustle at the end of a horrible meal. To top it all off, the place felt cheap and thrown together. The bathroom doors don’t even have locks. I’ve seen better setups at highway rest stops. This place SUCKED. Absolutely do not waste your money, time, or appetite here. Cold food, trash service, shady tipping practices, and a vibe that screams “we don’t care.” Avoid at all costs.

#trapcitycafe is a VIBE! Came in for Saturday brunch before our slot for the escape room at #trapmusicmuseum. We arrived right before 1pm, so we were the first ones here. I thought I would be enjoying a quiet lunch with my son, but before long most of the tables were full, #DJSpill was spinning bops that had people dancing in their chairs, and I had a *STRONG*peach Mojito in my hand that literally made my fingertips numb, lol. Everybody was vibin, having a great time, the music really set the tone and everybody was feeling good! The space is really cool with art showcasing hip-hop & trap artists and lifestyle. Then our food arrives, and the smoky shrimp Trap Pocket shrimp tacos and Gansta Boo Chicken Head chicken tenders with seasoned fries were delicious! Overall a great way to enjoy a meal on a beautiful Atlanta Saturday afternoon, especially since the front opens garage door style to let in the fresh air & sunshine. Speaking of Beautiful ( that was our server’s name!) she was friendly, professional and attentive, and still cool enough to match the vibe, and made our experience even better.

This was one of the most authentic Atlantic experiences I’ve had. Food was great. Especially the lamb chops and Mac and cheese. Salmon bites seasoned beautifully! Service was great. Taylor’s service was great. 10/10 out of 10 would recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

$20 to park was to be expected, no problem. Security at the door. No host at stand so we just walked all the way in to be acknowledged. Greeted and seated by a friendly employee. We ordered the fried shrimp and fries. Good! Sliders needed seasoning and the bun could've been warm/lightly toasted. The greens were trash took one bite and didn't finish them. Salmon bites were subpar. The drinks were not good and at $20 a piece were a small and a major disappointment! The DJ and atmosphere was a vibe but I would never feel the need to return here.
