"Following all the large, out-of-state fried chicken chains flooding into Las Vegas, a father-and-son team have set an opening date for their own Chicago-style spin on casual dining favorites. Announcing an August 13 debut, Trask’s Chicken & Fish will replace the shuttered Flame Broiler on the westside, located at the Rainbow Business Center, next door to a Starbucks and close to the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Washington Avenue. Promising a south side of Chicago take on its fast-casual menu, operators La’Charles and Larry Trask plan for the restaurant to be open daily from 10.30 a.m to midnight. Filling 1,253 square feet, with the future option of outdoor seating, homesick Chicagoans can take in a mural depicting a CTA Red Line train at the 95th Street station inside. A preview menu has yet to be revealed." - Bradley Martin

Trask’s has phenomenal fried chicken. Crispy (never soggy), juicy (never dry), big pieces, and really awesome thick cut crinkle fries! Every-time my wife and I ordered Trask’s is always consistent and I can expect the same quality everytime! I usually love to order Chicken with “The Works”. A very nice combination of a sweet and mild sauce, lemon and pepper, salt and pepper, and hot sauce. Worth a try! This time around we were craving plain chicken, check out the pictures! Check out Trask’s! GO IN TO THE STORE FOR FRESH CRISPY CHICKEN 🍗 😁👍

This is one of the best places I've been to in a minute. They got whole wings, they got livers, they got gizzards, they got catfish. They got a half chicken order w/fries, bread, and slaw for $13.50!!! Same combo with livers for $7.50!!! Very generous pricing, lovely family feel inside. I ain't ever paid for better food that I had cooked by someone's father like I went over to their home. I will definitely be coming back when I want fried chicken livers and will be sharing this place with as many people as I can!!!

Best wings I’ve had! The Works was recommended and it did not disappoint, it is now my new favorite sauce. Can’t wait to come back to try the fish. Also the coleslaw was amazing, not too sweet.

Before even talking about the chicken, I gotta give it to the service quality and the cashier. She was very kind and helpful. The chicken was excellent and juicy. The portions were enormous. I highly recommend.

The service is outstanding. Good family feeling. Writing this review sitting down waiting on my order. Has real vibes and good music. Amazing food! Much love!

Fairly decent place, but room for improvement. One piece of chicken was a little pink on the end of the bone, which means it could have been cooked a little bit more. The chicken did not have very much spice at all, it could use more. The corn-breaded catfish was very tasty, but too thin, making it a bit chewy. The cole slaw was delicious, with a slight sweetness to it. The krinkle cut french fries were great. Service was ok. Indoor dining available via a few tables. Outdoor eating on patio. Soda fountain inside.
