We arrived late in the evening around 9 o'clock in Verona and visited the restaurant literally moments before the kitchen closed. The staff seemed a bit rushed and nervous, most likely because it was the end of their working day. One of the waiters didn't understand much English, but we managed to communicate with the other one.
The atmosphere was exceptionally authentic and pleasant, transporting you to the memories, experiences, and friendships of the owner. The food was delicious, and for the first time, I tried two new Italian desserts which I unfortunately don't remember the names of, but I'm attaching pictures.
As we were leaving, a third waiter accompanied us, who was extremely kind and gracious. Despite the restaurant being close to closing time, he shared stories about the place, showed us the chair where Joe Cocker sat, told us about all the famous personalities who had visited the restaurant, took us to their wine cellar, and showed us a Formula 1 steering wheel and equipment - the perfect ending to the evening, truly memorable. Thank you, kind person, even though we didn't catch your name.
