This restaurant is in a great location with some great views, and amazing food. We also received a selection of complimentary food comprising of salad, bread, and a small portion of cold spaghetti. Even though we did not have a reservation they still were able to seat us, and we even got a view of the canal. However, we felt rushed the entire dinner. From the minute we sat down, the staff kept pushing us to order and finish. For example, my partner was still eating her main when a review driven complimentary dessert got put on our table (which was one profiterole positioned next to a business card with a QR code to encourage customers to leave a review). She felt rushed and uncomfortable to finish and before even putting her cutlery down, they took her plate away. After we finished this complimentary dessert, we were not even asked if we wanted the dessert menu (which we did) and were just handed the bill before even asking for it. We felt like they were only giving us free food for the sake of getting good reviews, the staff just didn’t seem to care, they were arguing with each other, even dragging tables across the restaurant and almost hitting customers in the process. It felt tense and it didn’t feel very welcoming. Even when we were leaving and saying “thank you” and “goodbye”, they didn’t even look at us when they said “you’re welcome”. The food was definitely good but the attitude of the staff and the rushed atmosphere definitely ruined this experience for us. This is not a cheap restaurant but my partner and I both just finished university and to celebrate we decided on this restaurant, which was a great shame. It had such good potential to make our trip to Venice and our celebration great.

We were very grateful that the staffs did the best to arrange the table for 4 of us even though we had no prior reservation. The food was very fast and delicious! The old staff was very helpful with wine and food recommendations; we chit chat and laughed just like neighbours! He even gave us the special liquors and cakes from the store at the end of the meal... of course free of charge! A must-visit in Venezia!!!

All the dishes are super nice. Love the lobster noodles and grilled clams. The staff are nice and food are served quickly. There is a queue before the restaurant open, but don't worry, the restaurant is huge!

Just when I thought all of the restaurants are tourist traps in Venice I discovered this spot. The atmosphere is warm and very welcoming. Very authentic and Venetian. The food from the starters to the main dish was spectacular. The sauce was creamy and I wanted some spicy kick so they gave me spicy paste and that's just what I needed. It elevated the already excellent taste to the next level. I would highly recommend this place and knowing they are more than 100 years old just makes it even more special.

The best seafood we had on our trip. Highly recommend. The only thing that we didn’t like was the dining room they sat us in (they have multiple) - it had no AC and was hot in June.

Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing ambiance! While there was a queue to get in they rushed to have us seated within 5 minutes. The speed / efficiency really stood out during service, staff were polite, topped off waters without asking and cleared dishes with haste. (Our server, Roman, was stellar!) However, the most noteworthy experience was the complementary appetizers and desserts. Had no idea what we’d be getting, but so glad we came! 10/10 would come again!

Absolutely loved this place! Authentic Venetian food and service was outstanding – warm, friendly, and attentive. If you’re lucky enough to score a window seat, you’ll enjoy a gorgeous view of the water, bridge, and passing gondolas – a real treat! The boss is a genuinely nice guy. He surprised us with a complimentary salad and dessert, which was such a lovely gesture and made our experience even more special. Will definitely be coming back. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for a true taste of Venice with amazing hospitality!

Amazing service and food. Farhan was our waiter and he was so friendly and kind to us. The spider crab pasta and grilled mixed shellfish was the best ever. Highly recommend this place when you’re in Venice!
