Trattoria Amalfi

A beautiful, delicious restaurant in a charming little area of Mystic! The staff was phenomenal- friendly, informative, helpful, and quick with all of our food/drink orders without making us feel rushed! They made adjustments to our orders with no complaints, making us feel more than welcome and not like an obnoxious burden as other places have in the past. The atmosphere was fun, light, and welcoming. We had two young children with us, one of whom is an extremely picky eater, and we found this restaurant to be very kid friendly, with more than one option for them to consider and enjoy! Both of the adults in our group greatly enjoyed every single thing that we ate and drank as well! Such phenomenal staff and delicious food, we will definitely be back the next time that we are in the area!

First time in to this Tuscan vibe restaurant in the Old Mystic Village. Service folks were very helpful. Our server Savanna was pleasant but not intrusive. My Taggliatella Bolonase was excellent. The Shrimp in brown butter was good but the only dish that needed a little something. Garlic bread appetizer was amazing. Also, a menu change request was accomidated seamlessly. We will go back

Very open and welcoming when you arrive. Server was friendly. The atmosphere was a bit empty feeling. The food was mediocre, except for the meatball appetizer, that was delicious. My braised beef was tough and very chewy as was the chicken parm. The sandwich was dry, even adding plenty of the sauce provided on the side. The servings were a decent size, but still seemed pricey considering the quality of the meal.

This place has a very chill vibe! It is super cute and is beautiful inside. Scott and Amanda helped make the drinks and served as waiters. They were awesome! The food was tasty and the right amount! I will come here again and highly recommend!

Our group of six enjoyed a delicious dinner for my friend’s bachelorette this evening! Our server was incredibly friendly and was so sweet to congratulate the bride to be. All of the food was delicious, and the homemade pasta was high-quality. The cocktails and even mocktail were just as incredible! If I had one critique, I wish the portion sizes had been a bit bigger to match the price. Besides that I would definitely come back, and I really fell in love with the vibe here!

Great atmosphere. Pasta was super fresh and some of the best we’ve had. Very spacious, bright, and inviting space. Loved the decor and lemon theme. Service was quick and attentive. Recommend the cocktails as well! Hope to be back.

to be candid, it was really mediocre for the price point. after my family and i left the restaurant, we all agreed we would never come back. it was simply not worth the cost. our family had ordered two different dishes of pasta, while my mother ordered the meatballs side dish - the reason i can't recall the details of those two dishes is because they were just that unmemorable and dissatisfying 😭 the meatballs were great actually, but i find it hard to mess up a meatball recipe. for 15 dollars, you get two jumbo sized meatballs about the size of a small salt shaker. it was the only dish that saved this review to be honest. my order was likely the fettucine, but they ran out of fettucine so they substituted it for "angel hair". it was spaghetti. i dont have a drop of italian in me and i know the difference. i think they were trying to go for al dente too but it wasnt cooked very well. this is seriously one of the first restaurants ive committed to leaving a bad review for. tldr not worth it, food is just okay, atmosphere is good though i guess.

Services was good and fast. Food was delicious. And I'm a picky eating this was super good. We were 4 people and the price were good for 4 meal and 2 appetizers 4 drinks.
