"This offshoot of the Michelin star Italian restaurant, Hofke van Bazel, is just upstairs from its elder sibling. The trattoria’s romantic interior is perfect for a date night, possibly alfresco on the patio overlooking the picturesque church of St Peter’s. Ingredients from Puglia take the limelight, but the chef also celebrates other regions of Italy with a distinct fondness for authentic Mediterranean flavours. The chef might pair crispy cod with slow-baked sliced potatoes and onions and a creamy sauce of mussels, tomatoes and shellfish. Friendly staff, the menu is well explained, we went on a Saturday and all the dishes came from the same Italian region, which is a pleasant touch. We were in a bigger group (7) the table we got was a bit less pleasant, a round table seems better than the large square table.

Great atmosphere, very warm, cosy and neat inside. Food is qualitative and tasty; but also somewhat overpriced (expect over 20€ per small pasta dish, and 8€ for a glass of “home” wine). Service is great overall, although one person was way too invasive and overwhelming. When one go out for a nice lunch or dinner, one doesn’t expect to befriend with the host(ess).

Very disapointing service. They overcharged our bill and they weren't really bothered by it. When confronting them with this scam they said they had no reputation to defend. This says enough. Sad and stupid
