"For another local and casual option, Trattoria Bianca is a classic, refined trattoria where a typical meal begins with fried, puffed crackers alongside plates of prosciutto, coppa di testa, cotechino sausage and big chunks of Parmesan cheese." - Hannah Loewentheil

Great place where you can try the original local cuisine. Very attentive and gentle owner with the passion for the good food and wine! A must try if you are in Modena!

Nice place, almost chic and bind to the past and local tradition. Service is good, food too. A bit expensive considering the location.

Service polite but not very professional and food is certainly not what you expect from a classic trattoria in Modena. Food ok at it’s best but mostly really bad.

The prices do not match the quality of food.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended by a native so we went. Very nice ambiance and lovely outdoor seating. Fresh white tablecloths and sparkling clean glassware. Excellent service at first, but then the two waiters got very busy with a full crowd. Liberal parking available. For sure start with the first item on the anti pasta menu--fried bread (think sopapillas) and local thin-sliced cold meats and cherry jam--excellent! And since this is the balsamic world headquarters, we split a fillet of beef slathered in a small fortune in balsamic vinegar. For us, it was balsamic overkill--too much of a good thing, you might say. An elegant dining experience overall.

Yelp
Weigh too expensive! I understand they have very typical foods such as great tortellini, gnocco and tigelle, tortelloni and so many other things but my grandmother would make it even better for so much cheaper. We got tortellini in brodo, tortelloni with pumpkin and with ricotta and spinach. Then we got a filet with aceto balsamico which was NOT good at all and the dessert with chocolate and different ingredients that you can mix together. The price was very high for something so "casalingo" and the service was not good as I expected.
