This is a Neapolitan institution that I believe shouldn't be missed when you're in town. We arrived 15 minutes before opening and there was already a long queue. The restaurant spans three floors, so it seats a good number of diners, and to our surprise, most of them were locals.
If you're seeking something quiet or intimate, this might not be the spot for you.
Service was efficient and friendly enough, even though we didn’t speak Italian. The place runs like a well-oiled machine, with orders arriving within minutes.
We tried the famous potato pasta, which was decent, but a bit heavy and not as enjoyable since it wasn’t served warm enough. The seafood pasta, on the other hand, was piping hot and packed with flavor. The pesto salad was really refreshing. For mains, the grilled codfish was good, though the schnitzel was a bit dry. We didn’t particularly enjoy the sides.
That said, a two-course meal at 16€ is hard to beat!
