What a memorable culinary experience ! We loved our food that Mr Paolino made for us, we came for dinner two of the three nights we had in Panarea. Service was warm and friendly, even though English wasn’t the staff’s strong point it made no difference to the exceptional service they showed.

The restaurant has a homie vibe, where from your table you can see the cooks in the kitchen making your meal. The food is great and very fairly priced. Paulino himself takes your order. He is quite the character and surprisingly get everything in the order right and fast. He’ll even sit down at your table to chat if you like. Truly a gem in Panarea.

Lovely place. We went here in the first week of may 2022. We had a lovely time. The owner was charming and very friendly. The food was great. I'm celiac and he helped me navigate the menu. The owner speaks no English but tries his best to make sure he's understood. It's a family run restaurant, so his wife is the cook. The place has a beautiful view on stromboli!

First of all. The food was amazing. The view was amazing. And the staff were amazing. I also really appreciated that the chef came out to check on us. The staff didnt speak much English, but we figured it out. It is a little walk to get there from the port, but if you are stopping by for lunch, i highly recommend this restaurant. The experience really was great

Went to this restaurant on April 30 2022 for the opening of the season. We were skeptical at first because of the reviews, but it turns out we had an incredible and romantic time there, and some of the best pastas we ever had. The prices were totally ok (36€ for two huge pasta dishes and a « caraffa de vino »), the owner looked like he was out of a classic Italian movie (grumpy on the surface but extremely friendly and grateful we were there after we exchanged a few words in a poor Italian mixed with English), there was no music but all the family conversations coming for the opened kitchen worked perfectly for the atmosphere, the place felt midway between a restaurant and a local house, the view was incredible, pastas were served in beautiful kitsch plates shaped like fishes… and the taste! Al dente pasta, melting aubergines, ricotta light as clouds, perfectly cooked shrimps.. If you want to feel like you’re in « The Big Blue » for a night, that’s the place. We tried quite a lot of places during our stay but this one might be our favorite. Other great experiences: Da Francesco (similar mood, great taste, prices ok, but a bit more « real » restaurant), Da Pina (great taste too even if we were a bit disappointed by a seafood dish which tasted too strong, and higher prices), Bar Del Porto (for a perfect « aperitivo » before diner or an espresso during the day), Panarea Bakery (amazing sweets). Also great tip for quick and cheap lunches if you don’t have access to a kitchen: Bar Del Porto or Supermarket Bruno for really good « paninis » (think Spanish « bocadillo »), or La Pizzeria Da Claudia for amazing salty pastries to take away.

Ik, so the food was far from amazing, I would say quite average and although I’m not Italian I have eaten in enough Italian restaurants and cooked myself enough Italian food t know the difference. The service was fast, but there’s a limit to when fast also means good. Having plates taken from my face while I’m still chewing my food is too fast to be good, but this is a trend i observed in more places in Italy. It has a nice view on Stromboli and that’s probably the best thing I can say about this restaurant.

Friendly service, good, simple food, great view and fair prices. What else can you ask for? Don't miss the eggplant cake!

Amazing view of Stromboli even more amazing food. Simple but wow. Bottarga made with fresh roe very mild and delicious. Great octopus salad, just add lemon. All the pastas we tried where great, very simple but beautiful. Even the cakes where unique and delicious. There is a small dock you can offload on below the restaurant 2 minutes up a staircase/ passage.
