Both food and service were impeccable! I truly enjoyed the home cooked pasta dishes that were catered to my needs. I asked for a dairy free version of shrimp rigatoni and they made it happen! I'd love to order takeout next time I have a craving for Italian. The service was fast and ambiance was clean and cute. Our waiter was kind and efficient. Nice and quiet place to have a low key date night without the crowds. Thank me later!

A little hidden gem serving up authentic Italian food with incredible prices for the great quality and portions served here. It’s our go to spot for date night, and it is always a success. Not only is the food immaculate, the wait staff is super attentive and honestly add to the experience by their pleasant demeanor and helpfulness. I totally recommend this spot it’s, worth trying and I hope you love it as much as we do! 10/10!

Great Lunch at Trattoria Daly! My husband and I had a great lunch at Trattoria Daly. I had the shrimp scampi so flavorful and delicious. He had the penne alla vodka with chicken, and it came with lots of chicken and a tasty sauce. We shared a Caesar salad, which was fresh and big enough for two. The tiramisu for dessert was light and delicious. Our waiter, Jesus, was friendly, polite, and very attentive. The restaurant is small but cozy. We’ll definitely be back!

We found this restaurant on google maps and we were lured in by the charm of this hole in the wall. Staff was really nice and the food was really good. We started with the Caesar salad. Then we got Chicken fettuccine and pizza and vodka pasta. Everything was great tasting.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. Trattoria Daly is a quaint, colorful, and charming restaurant that serves delicately prepared meals. The service is at its finest. We shared a portion of the calamari friitti, and it was scrumptiously delicious to the last bite. The Cioppino was rich, perfectly seasoned, and full of fresh seafood. Trattoria Daly is a MUST stop when you're in the mood for a quality meal.

This gem is a small restaurant with very limited seating, although there is a small back patio that transcends as if you were in Italy. The dishes we had are the 1. Penne alla vodka with chicken 2. Beef lasagne 3. Daly salad with shrimp not pictured is the Salmon, This is a place to go to. I drove from Long Beach and was pleased with service, food, and experience. Keep in mind that this place is small, but your taste buds will be forever grateful.

The food always comes out delicious, and the service is also great they are so nice and welcoming. I brought my friend here for lunch, we shared the vodka pasta with chicken and shrimp and we got the lobster ravioli, everything was so amazing my friend really loved it too! David was so nice he let us try a biscoff coffee ice cream dessert after we finished that he said isn’t on the menu but we could request! It was so good and definitely will come back with my family.

This petite restaurant has home style food and rice to die for. The food is clean fresh and a must and in an area on a busy street, plenty of parking. Next time I'm getting a pizza, a real 🍕

Trattoria Daly is a place the area needs. The sauces on all dishes are light and perfect. The staff has experience at high classes places and have brought their cooking skills to a GREAT LOCALS PLACE. I love the Penne Vodka and the Rigatoni. They have many specials all the time. You will not be disappointed. I will go back for the banana brulee dessert.

We stumbled here after deciding we didn't want to eat next door. Boy did we get lucky! Small, intimate setting, friendly servers and very very reasonably priced. Loved our plates of chicken and salmon. Awesome side veggies and the caprese salad was delightful. Coffee and a pistachio cake for dessert rounded out a perfect dining experience. Muah, lovely!

Came here with a friend before heading to the theater. Overall we had a nice meal and the service was good. It's a small casual spot. Our waiter was very nice and visited often to make sure that we had what we needed. We ordered the provolone cheese sticks as an appetizer. They could have been a bit hotter but they were really yummy. I got the salmon over black rice risotto for my meal which was a special for the day. It was simple but very good. I took a bite of my friend's pasta and it was really good as well. Nice local spot to grab a quick bite. Not too fancy, not crazy expensive, and good quality food. Would definitely come back.

We found this spot via Google search and aren't we glad we did! The staff (from the servers to the chef) were amazing. They did their best to ensure our visit was pleasant. The food was super delicious, great portions and price! The place was also very cozy and clean. 11/10. We will be back very soon!

Catching up with a buddy and was around the area. We decided to try this new restaurant. The interior is small with about like 10 tables total. There are table cloths and cloth napkins enhancing the decor as a proper Italian restaurant. You can literally see the kitchen and chef working their magic, it feels like you're at home. Pizza was great! The crust and ingredients seem to be great quality. Although I wish they added more red sauce since it was a tad dry with the sauce. The pepperoni pizza came out to be $16.00. Overall: I recommend giving this place a try for the pizzas. I haven't tried their pastas and other stuff so I can't say if it's good or not.

Restaurant was nice and clean. Service was on point!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. They introduced us to the chef's specials for the week: Lasagna & a seafood pasta/spaghetti. We ordered both of them. The seafood spaghetti was my favorite!! Shrimp, calamari, fish, mussels, and clams. I'm not a huge fan of mussels so they added even more shrimp to substitute. The shrimp was BOMBBBBB!!!! Portions were great and they gave plenty of seafood. Price was very great as well. Hope to come back again soon!

Went with my husband for our 10 year anniversary. The staff made us feel extra special so sweet and so kind. The food was delicious 10 out of 10 for us. Will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends. Truly a hidden gem!

I was very impressed by this new restaurant in the area. The experience was top shelf. There aren't many places in this area with fine the dining vibe, but trattoria daly is bringing that experience. Well dressed very polite staff, table cloths and cloth napkins kind of atmosphere here. I tried the salmon which was very good and quite reasonably priced. I'm excited to try other items as they seem to clearly want to bring a unique experience with high quality to the area.

Found this place on Yelp "hot and new", decided to give it a try... The restaurant is really in the middle of nowhere... Unless you are local neighbors or by reading this .. dining room is small, probably sit 20ppl, but cozy and well decorated, nothing fancy and wow but practical. Food was good. First impression was good because they serve warm bread! Calamari was good, very fresh and the batter is light. I especially like the rib eye steak, with light smokey taste and cooked to perfection... Shrimp scampi was normal, shrimps were fresh, the sauce was a bit too light, only creamy taste. Service is good, servers are very attentive. Generally the whole experience is between 4-5 stars, however with such a reasonable pricing, no way I don't go for 5.

Really helpful and attentive staff, good food and a comfortable atmosphere! We had the mozzarella and tomatoes and a pasta with vodka sauce. The warm garlic bread was comforting!

The amount of seafood you receive is such a steal! The service was extremely welcoming and friendly and quick too. The calamari and seafood special were amazing and full of flavor and fill you up. The seating and overall cleanliness of the restaurant is very very outstanding. You must give this spot a try!

Amazing! Every single plate, from appetizer callimary, salad, soup, bread, chicken ( Pollo alla funghi), all perfectly cooked, freshly made and beautifully codimented without taking away from the ingredients! My significant other never eats salad, he ate it all. He was repeating: This is the best Italian food I've ever had!Lemonade freshly squeezed, the real thing! The service is attentive and caring! The place is clean and well decorated with 11 tables. The restaurant is small but with big flavors! I will comeback! I think this is the intention of everyone that sat and ate at these tables! I experienced a discovery tonight in Lincoln Heights-- just east of downtown but totally convenient-- the place is called Trattoria Daly. It's a neighborhood gem that harkens the beginning of a mini-restaurant row near downtown, Keck Hospital, Dodger Stadium, among other neighborhoods in various directions. The owners were for many years part of the team at Pacific Dining Car-- these guys are well acquainted with high end service and food. What they've established in the past six months, is a friendly local spot with top quality food and service-- for unbelievably reasonable prices. The bill of fare is Italian-- excellent starters, super pastas, and entree's like rib-eye steak, salmon. You can also do a simple pizza night-- or make it a special occasion. The atmosphere is like a "discovery" of that little off the beaten track gem. But word must have gotten out-- when we dined there on a Sunday night, the place was hopping! The visible to the house skilled kitchen was keeping up with the more than satisfied crowd. Two decades of Pacific Dining Car (which didn't survive covid) made these guys the pros they are. You shouldn't have to "sell a kidney" to eat well-- and this place is proof. They are in process and waiting for their liquor license -- but you can bring your own vino-- (or pick up something at the Smart & Final down the street.) It's great to see professionals who are really good guys stir up the right ingredients-- warmth, welcome, excellent food, and outstanding service, and evidence that the American dream is still alive.

Simply love this place, the food is fresh and so delicious and the service is awesome! This is my second time eating at this restaurant, and the second visit definitely tops the first. The food just keeps getting better and better every time I try something new. My first visit I had the shrimp scampi, which was delicious. My second visit. I had the special lobster ravioli, we also ordered Pizza and the salmon dish which was beyond yummy as well as the hearts of salad which was so good too. Oh and let's not forget their warm fresh sourdough bread! Our waiter Jesus was attentive and helpful. Will be back again for sure.

Location is in area that has no diversity first of all. Once you walk in you are greeted by the delicious food aroma and by the gentlemen there. Easy simple menu and by the way they will cook it special for you if you want to add more flavor. ( I asked for broccoli to be added on my shrimp scampi and by the recommendation of owner and chef i agreed to some spicy pepper) It was not only delicious but perfectly cooked. Did i mention these gentlemen were very friendly and courteous ,great service and location....1000% recommend it. First of many visits for sure...... Trattoria you gained a forever patron..!!!!!

We stumbled upon Trattoria Daly during CicLAvia. What a great find! We had three small children with us and needed to be outside (as one is very active). The staff set up tables in the back patio specifically for us. They accommodated all of our needs. One of the children asked for French fries (not on the menu) and 5 minutes later, they brought some out. It was amazing! We ordered provolone cheese sticks , calamari, the margarita pizza (they left off the basil because they didn't think the kids would want- and they were right!) and two pasta dishes. Everything was delicious and so reasonably priced. The service was amazing!!! We'll definitely go back!!

Lovely little Italian spot in Lincoln Heights! Partner and I were in the area and craved Italian so went to Trattoria Daly on a whim. Glad we did, the food was delicious, and our server was very warm and attentive. I got the fettuccini ragu bolognese which was very flavorful and generous with tender meat bits. My partner got the rigatoni amatraciana which was a little spicy but had perfectly crispy guanciale bits. We also shared a fried eggplant antipasti that came smothered in a very tasty tomato sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed every dish and left feeling very satisfied and happy. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was cozy and unpretentious. If you're looking for some very comfort Italian food, then go and support this hidden gem!

My colleagues and I were in the neighborhood, and a friend suggested we try the Trattoria. The menu had something for everyone, from salads, pasta, fish, and steak. The service was topnotch, and the staff was super attentive to our needs. The ambiance was wonderful and quiet, and we felt like we were at home. Food, we ordered 2 pasta dishes, the chicken Alfredo and the vodka sauce w/ shrimp. Pasta was cooked al dente, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. We shared a caprese salad, which was super fresh and seasoned. I ordered the rib eye and it was delicious, cooked medium rare, perfect. We were too full for dessert, but will come back for sure. An excellent addition to the neighborhood

LITERALLY THE BEST ITLALIAN RESTAURANT! Real, authentic Italian pasta, garlic bread, and pizza. Customer service is exceptional. Definitely coming back for the Seafood pasta, it's so different and to die for Chef studied and learned recipe from Italy directly and is very strict in keeping sauce standards. Such an underrated restaurant everyone needs to try!

I recently seen this place and have been wanting to try it out. I went in today and only saw one couple so I wasn't sure if it was good, but I was wrong. Definitely a great hole in the wall spot. I was in the area for a job and happened to park right in front of the restaurant. Had to check it out and so glad I did! The owners serve as the wait staff and chefs so you know experience and quality matter. The salmon dish was spectacular- the basil sauce was a perfect compliment! The tiramisu was a mouth-watering blend of richness, flavor and Joy! Don't miss out on this new gem in the neighborhood!

The food was so delicious! Don't skip the calamari, because that was 100% worth it! We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza, and it was so flavorful with the most delicious crispy crust. The chicken entree and Rigatoni were perfection. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was perfect for a nice cozy date.

Hidden gem for sure, never thought it would be great. The food was great snd im not much of an Italian foodie. We had the chicken plate that my mom enjoyed which shes picky. Everything tasted homemade and not microwaved. I reallt enjoyed the service amazing trattoria trio. They slso had great mudic which to.me hits the spot. Calamari plate was rhe bomb fresh seafood and not greasy like other places. My favorite has to be the pastries the lemon and tiramisu were delicious. I have nothing bad to say abt the parking maybe the parking but i dont mind looking for parking when theres great food n service

Hidden gem! Food was juts amazing I never leave my plate clean but today I did ! Best pasta and the tiramisu was just perfect! Service was very generous and service and food quality was excellent! Penne alla vodka with salmon has the most amazing flavor I have had. Creamy and yet a light sauce and the salmon enhances the sauce making it.such an umami flavor...the garlic bread is simple but delicious light anf great Crunch

This cute restaurant in the heart of Lincoln Heights was such a great find. Recently opened. LATINO OWNED. The food is absolutely delicious. The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and happy to have us there. A MUST! I'll be returning.

Found this spot on my way home & it is simply a hidden gem. Amazing food and customer service. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce it comes with rice but I asked for pasta ! I recommend it!!! I loved the fooood, the prices are great and the place is cozy and has a great mom and pop Italian feel to it. The chef waved as we entered & left, we will be coming back asap !

Jose and Paulino are the owners. First let me tell you that this is a gem! We had the Chicken Piccata which was moist and perfectly breaded and seasoned. The pizza was just right, bread light, tasty not doughy. Salads are a large portions. This is almost literally a hole in the wall, and a wow excellent.

Shrimp scampi was delicious had a nice creamy buttery taste and the shrimp are huge shrimp .. the pizza is horrible there it's like a digorno pizza . The place is clean and the servers are really nice . The chicken Alfredo is also a really good dish there the sauce is a little pungent but the flavor from real cheese not a can made pasta !! I've been back once since my first initial review just no pizza

Saw this place opened recently and I was so happy to see a new restaurant near my house in Lincoln Heights. It's small, basic, and so far delicious. Short menu of pastas, pizzas, and salads - great prices. I had the shrimp scampi pasta - tasty and good portion size. The staff seems so grateful to have the patronage. Come try it out and get them off the ground. We need more affordable, diverse options in the 90031. No wine, but you can bring your own.
