Trattoria Entrà

I had the pleasure to dine here twice in a week. The experience was unique and familiar at the same time. This was one of my favorite places not just to eat but we just feel comfortable here. It's one of the intangible things that you always look for, but it's rare to find.

Came to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend in the US. Chef Antonio was phenomenal…he personally greeted us (2 couples) upon arrival and proceeded to explain every dish to us as it was brought to our table for a tasting dinner with amazing wine pairings. He taught us about Lambrusco which none of us had tried and gave us copies of his book. At the end of the night we toured his restaurant with him and felt blessed to have graced his presence and for the magical experience! The food was delicious and vibe of the restaurant was inviting and enticing. His staff was also very efficient and helpful throughout the evening. We all highly recommend seeking out and experiencing this restaurant!

Here we are in the countryside of Modena, a historical trattoria of Cucina Emiliana with great traditional dishes made with excellent producers and a very clever wine list. The service is impeccable and very attentive. Highly recommend the Maccheroni al pettine with ragu Bolognese, Ravioli di Zucca Sage & Butter, for main course you must try La Faraona. This is an experience you must do if you wish to experience this region's cuisine and beyond.

One of my favorite trattoria restaurants ever! A unique eno-gastronomic experience of authentic Modena's food. The food is excellent, simply delicious and with best quality from farm to table. They offer seasonal and dishes from northern Modena area tradition. Huge selection of wines. The owner is sommelier so he can provide good reccomandation to satisfy any taste. Cozy and comfortable place. A blast from the past to discover authentic Italian traditions. I always bring there my American colleagues and they are just amazed about this place. They always told me this was the best experience ever in an Italian restaurant!!

Wow! What a special and inviting place in the Italian countryside. For me our visit to Entra (with family and some good friends) was an absolute highlight. Anthony and his team are the warmest hosts, the food is outstanding and the wine is excellent. The guinea fowl and tortellini in brodo were my favorites. This is a place I wish I could come to often, but the memory of this place will stay in my mind for a long time.
