DO NOT eat here under any circumstances. Please take the time to read why; Our experience at this restaurant was horrible on every level. I have been to Italy uncountable amounts of time in my life and calling this restaurant “Trattoria La Sicilians” is an insult to the whole of Italy. To start off with: The bread which was served with „olive“ oil. The oil was just basic sun flower oil with a horrible aftertaste of garlic, absolutely disgusting. We ordered the bistecca and the pollo, both of which were served as the „family portion“. According to them, that’s just a bigger portion, for double the price. Though really it is a scam, as you pay double the price for a slightly larger portion. The food was horrible. So horrible in fact, that for the first time we had to leave the restaurant during dinner. The pollo was soaked in some pre-made sauce and was so overcooked, that it was incredibly chewy. Not to mention the bistecca, which was an absolute joke as well. It was overcooked, far more than what is considered „well done“ and covered in a greasy garlic sauce. It was basically inedible. (You can convince yourselves by looking at the attached images) The worst part of all were the drinks; First of all the wine was mediocre at best. However, the price was not. A glass of wine cost $14. The Beer we were served, expired in October 2016. (Note: This review was written in August 2019). Serving spoiled beverages is absolutely unacceptable and presents a HEALTH RISK to anyone visiting this restaurant. (Attached image shows expiry date of beer) So please do yourself a favour and don’t eat here. The service was also poor, as the restaurant was crowded and had a very hectic atmosphere.

The prices currently listed are wrong! They are around 30-40% higher than what’s listed on Google Maps. Expect to pay around 40 per person.

I have been a strong foodie for decades, and I say this with EXTREME certainty. Trattoria La Siciliana is absolutely superb, authentic food in every bite. The atmosphere is awesome (tight quarters, but very worth it) and the service is great! Every ingredient is of very high quality and dinner here is a treat every single time! Great for a date or people that just want an absolutely amazing meal! Will definitely return soon!!!!!!!

It’s a classy, unpretentious restaurant with excellent Sicilian classics. Service is good too. Would not recommend it if you’re in a hurry as the wait for a table can be long at times, even with a reservation. It’s worth the wait though. We brought my girlfriend’s parents and they had a great time. They’ll serve their dishes family style in larger portions if you come with a group.

The pasta dishes at the Trattoria really steal the show. I've had their pesto dishes and the pappardelle and both were very satisfying. The pesto especially was so savory yet fresh. The only downside with this restaurant is that it is quite small and it gets crowded on the weekends. I love that it is family owned but this also means that the service is wonderful for regulars and curt at best if you're not in the circle.

Came here for valentines day and it was a bit of a mess. I made reservations three weeks in advance for 7:30 pm, but we didn't get a table until 8:15, and sat there for another 15 minutes before someone actually took our order. The food was undeniably good, though not out of this world, and the atmosphere was nice, though very hurried. I expected the holiday to be pretty crazy, but for the money we payed I really feel like we should have received better service. It's not like they didn't know they'd be swamped that day! I might come back for lunch on a normal day, but I would strongly dissuade from going on a busy fixed menu night.

Tonight was my husband and my second time at Trattoria La Siciliana. I love the way they greet you at the door as if they were inviting you into their home. The food is very fresh and the price point is good. Two appetizers, 3 entrees and a bottle of their dry Prosseco for $135. Would've given 5 stars had we not been rushed out without being offered dessert. Was a little more understanding after stepping outside to the 4 or 5 waiting patrons because the restaurant is pretty small. Also, I don't understand the reviews that complain about the cash only policy, we used our cc both times?! point is excellent.

Yelp
Remarkably awful service. One kind waitress and the rest seemed set to make the dining experience unpleasant. Food was decent and well prepared yet the overall experience was sadly a hardship.

Yelp
I went with my friend and we were dressed in pajamas and the waitress looked at us strangely. The waitress at the counter was very rude and looked at us with mean eyes but the rest of the staff was very polite. They asked if we needed help and if we were being helped. The men working on the old cars outside were very kind to us and helped us find the restaurant. The food smells really yummy but I am very saddened by the rude waitress at the door because she made us feel unwelcome.
