Trattoria Lombardi's Restaurant

We were looking for a quick bite to eat and this restaurant was directly across the street in walking distance from our hotel. It was a super low-key Wednesday, a small group of customers but not packed. We were told that the weekend coming up was Cruiser Week in Ocean City so the games had yet to begin. I read the reviews about the pizza and the reviews were good. Ordered a half cheese & half veggie, caesar salad and a house salad. The salads were just regular and uneventful but the pizza was really good. Tasted freshly made and was ooey gooey with cheese. I really like the pizza and would come back for the pizza and maybe try some other menu items, they have a nice variety of items/dishes.

This was the first time I have ever tried Trattoria Lombardi's Restaurant - even though I have been to this shopping plaza more times than I could count. For dinner this evening I had the Caprese to start. Very tasty and a large portion. For my main course I had the Homemade Lasagna. When it first came covered in sauce, I was kind of suprised, but that quickly changed. Thought it was delicious and filling. To close I had the tiramisu. A glass of Chardonnay to drink. Complimentary bread and butter was provided. Overall, I was very pleased with the meal. Great portions and pretty tasty. Tamara was my waitress and she was attentive, professional and did an excellent job. Good restaurant with decent food, great service and a good atmosphere.

I have never ordered a pizza that didn't have pizza sauce it was so dry it looked good until you ate it more like cheesy bread I do not recommend

Arrived at 8:30pm and they were able to seat us immediately! Family friendly, welcoming casual atmosphere. Our server, Erin, was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. I personally love that they have Spring water on the menu! We all loved our food here! All sauces are homemade. All meal portions were generous. The pizzas are either 12” or 16”. We got the smaller cheese pizza. Yum! My lasagna was excellent. The Angel-hair pasta with shrimp in Alfredo sauce was lovely. The Eggplant parmigiana with added sausage (2 very large sized sausages) was very good! We’ve found our favorite Italian restaurant on OC!

This place is amazing and the owner is great. He walks all around and asks you if food is good. You don't see this often anymore. The shrimp in the scampi were huge and tasted great. The pizza was delicious and cooked in a stone oven. I highly recommend this place, but they do not take reservations and it is popular with locals and tourists,

First time trying out this restaurant. Loved the old style decos and atmosphere. it’s cozy and homey. Our server was nice, pleasant & helpful. The service was fast. The bathroom was clean. The food was delicious. I loved everything about it. Highly recommend it.

We sampled a bunch of things here. Some good, one very bad. Lemme start with the good. The red sauce entrees were solid. Good pasta. The calamari was solid. Not over cooked, not rubbery. Myself, I got the Italian sub. I really enjoyed it, save the lettuce. Little heavy on the mortadella but, very solid overall. See pic. Now the bad. The Alfredo sauce was the worst I've ever had. Completely flavorless. No one in our party enjoyed it. Our service was decent enough. The waitress brought everything that was supposed to be, but she couldn't remember who ordered what. We did have a large group of ~12 though. So I'll let it slide. Overall? I'd definitely go back for the sub, at least. ✌️

While on vacation in OC, we decided to try Lombardi’s since it was well reviewed and had a great menu. We all were extremely impressed with the food. Three of us ordered pizza- summer pizza, white pizza and a pepperoni. It was unanimous that this topped any other pizza we’d had. The lasagna, garlic bread, and meat balls were so flavorful and done perfectly. The service was wonderful, and if we ever make it back this way, we will definitely return!
