Best Restaurants and Bars in Ocean City, Maryland | Eater DC

"This family-style red sauce joint maintains a brisk business based on its reputation for slinging some of the top pies in town. It’s best to call ahead and do takeout at the peak of dinner. Try the “famous summer pizza” with mozzarella, fresh basil, sliced tomato, olive oil, and garlic." - Tierney Plumb

NYC Pizza Legend Andrew Bellucci Dies at 59

"A reboot of a historic pizzeria where the chef first came to prominence, showcasing both his pizza-making talent and charisma; his tenure there was cut short when he later pleaded guilty to 54 counts of fraud from an earlier legal career and served 13 months in jail, interrupting his early momentum in the industry." - Chris Crowley

Pretty good old style Italian food. We come here every time we visit Ocean City. The parking lot gets crowded, sometimes I park on the street nearby. Lines can be long, but it does move fast. The food comes out at a fast pace hence the high turnover for tables. I really liked their pizza- had a nice chew and good tomato sauce. My wife enjoyed the clams with linguine with white sauce and my kids loved the shrimp scampi and meat ravioli pasta dishes. When you need a break from seafood or Beach food this hits the spot.

Wow. Incredible food. Came for dinner with my girlfriend and started with salads which were good but typical. Got the traditional white pizza which was awesome super fresh and crisp. Some of the best I’ve had. The white has onion on it which is the bomb as well. Got the tiramisu for desert which was super light and homemade. Service was super quick and meal was well priced.

Saw this last year and said have to try it. Was very good. Although was a veal patty just wasn’t the same. Has a side of meatball and sausage. Very fast and friendly service. A definite for next year.

We were in town on vacation and looking for some pizza and wings and this place showed up in our search. Upon entering, everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and inviting. We were seated quickly with no wait, at a booth and there was plenty of room for five, making it comfortable for all of us. We ordered mozzarella sticks, pizza, and two orders of wings. The food came quick and was delicious.! Dare I say the best wings I’ve had in a LONG time. Everyone left full and happy. We could not suggest stopping in to this little gem to enjoy your next meal if in the area! We will definitely be making this an annual stop!🫶🏼

Ordered the large supreme pizza to take back to our hotel. It was ready quickly and tasted fine. I guess I found out that I'm just not a huge fan of big topping-pieces, but that's totally a personal preference.

Google
I ordered a takeout pizza, which was delicious. We ordered the meatlovers with cannoli and it was excellent in every way. The cannoli was huge and delightful. But… going to the counter to place our simple order… was… an experience. Speaking of the lady who took our order: I’ve never had a person seem so personally offended to have to take our *simple takeout order. I was wondering if she thought i had insulted her mother or something. But then I saw that’s how she treated everybody. I hope her week has since improved because man that interaction was unpleasant. The other employees seemed fine. If you wait in the restaurant for your takeout pizza to be ready heads up, they won’t let you know even if they see you sitting there. You’ll have to go up and ask if it’s ready, and hope that it is because you might get the dirtiest look of your life from the order lady just for asking. But the pizza was great!

It’s everything you want with a true local spot. Make sure you get there early because summer time gets crazy with the lines. Even the carry out lines are long. Make sure to try the following top items: Clams Linguini Pizza Chicken Parm It’s a great vibe inside. Even reminds me of an old Pizza Hut. :)

One of the BEST Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was amazing and tasted great. You could tell they make it homemade it tastes amazing. The place is really clean and is a really cute place to eat. 10/10!!!

Yelp
Take out person is nasty and mean Facebook posts should be taken seriously Food is standard- too many other good restaurants to waste time being treated poorly

Yelp
This must be a "hot spot" in this part of the Coastal Highway, based on some of the Yelp reviews and given our hotel (Princess Royale) also recommending it for Italian. We walked across the street around 5:30pm. We initially requested a table, but then we saw 3 chairs available at the bar. We decided to do that instead and I'm very happy we did because we had the most amazing and fun server, June. (I hope that is how you spell it; he said it's just like the month.) We order a bottle of BTL Pinot Noir ($30) and Mozzarella Sticks ($11) to start. The Pinot was nice, and the mozzarella sticks and dipping sauce were definite winners. My friends order the Chicken Parmigiana ($21) and loved it. I ordered the Bolognese ($21) and added the baked cheese ($2) on top. I selected Angel Hair for my pasta. It was delicious! The food arrived quickly, and the portions are large. (Sorry, we were having such a good time with June, I forgot to take pictures.) The prices are very reasonable here given the size of the portions. The three of us could not finish our meals and took to-go boxes with us for a nice snack the next day. As other Yelpers have noted, this place gets packed after 6pm (even on a Thursday when we were there). Although we were having a good time and thought of purchasing another bottle of wine, we saw the line was out the door as well as people waiting inside. We decided to leave our bar seats and let other people have an enjoyable experience here, too. Definitely recommend if you are in this area of the Coastal Highway in Ocean City.

Yelp
Definitely a mixed experience during my visit here. Stopped by on a Sunday and even though the place was packed, we were able to get seated right away. Was able to place our order pretty quickly, but the rest of the experience was a bit off. We did get our salads and mozzarella sticks pretty quickly, but our pizza arrived at least 20 minutes before the rest of our entrees. Whats strange is the other entrees were just pasta, so you would think that would have came out first. We had to keep asking our server where the rest of the food was and she was a bit rude. I do understand the restaurant was busy and the food coming out isn't her fault, but there's definitely better ways to go about it. She seemed overwhelmed and when I went to ask for a refill of my tea, she ended up bringing me water instead. When the pastas did arrive, our one pasta dish was just sauce lumped on top, not even mixed together. The other pasta came with sauce on the side (which is how we asked for it) but then a piece of chicken that was basically rubber. The pizza was great and I'd probably get it again, but I'd skip the rest.

Yelp
Lombardis was a mixed experience. The pizza was incredible and the mozzarella sticks were some of the best ever. The pasta was definitely homemade and was delicious. We were able to get a table right away and were excited, because right when you walked in, the restaurant smelled like an authentic, amazing Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, our pizza came out about 20 minutes before the rest of the entrees. Additionally, the waitress said she did not have time to bring us bread and that it would come with the pastas. When we asked for no onions on the salad, we were told it was premade. And most disappointingly, the chicken we got as a side was not cooked. The waitress did not charge us for it but her attitude was very rude. I would definitely go back for pizza and would maybe consider carryout. Having a waitress or waiter that is hospitable and welcoming really can add to or ruin an experience. I'm confident that my experience is not typical because of how busy the restaurant was and always is.

Yelp
Ordered for pick up and it was on time, 15 mins. The flavor was of average pizza, nothing to rave about. The crust was so chewy and tough my jaws hurt after eating it! Not crispy and def didnt pass the flop test! Light on the sauce and cheese too. I was excited to try it after seeing some of the positive reviews- maybe they just a bad day, but we won't be going back.

Yelp
Listen. This joint is making delicious pizza. While it has thicker crust than most, it's not Detroit style or deep dish- but the flavors and "ambience" transported me back to the little Italian joints in Chicago suburbs- the small mom and pop shops I grew up on. Thick cheese flavored by all the greats - not just the mozzarella - stands up to their crust- so everything is perfectly balanced. I loved the old school stained glass light fixtures and dark wood booths - just like the old days. Don't change a thing!

Yelp
We stayed across the street from this restaurant and walked over in our first night after our 4.5+ hour drive to OC. We all liked it so much that when the place we planed on going to later in the week was closed after the boardwalk, we came back here. We had a wait which was expected but our table was ready and service was fast. We asked for bread and it was freshly sliced and warm and delicious. Our daughters ordered chicken parm and like that they were able to pick their pasta. They both said the chicken was good and had leftover pasta and ordered it again the 2nd time we went. I ordered the shrimp scampi with spaghetti which was a bit overcooked for me but still good. The next time I too ordered the chicken parm and it was very good, with vodka sauce and penne. The vodka sauce was excellent. My husband had the bolognese and loved it. Ordered it the 2nd time and wanted to stop in our way home for a 3rd portion or to order the sauce!! lol. The pizza was very good too. We had it both times and brought the leftovers back to the hotel and it was good even cold. Service was quick and efficient. Place is like stepping into grandmas house. We will definitely be back next time we're in OC MD.

Yelp
I'm back again at this delicious pizza spot in OC! We arrived around 7PM and the wait was only 10 minutes long, the staff were kind and welcoming to attending to our order. This time, I got the Summer Special pizza and sigh, it was DELICIOUS and refreshing. The flavors were robust! This is a great place to gather with family and friends, just to make some delicious memories :)

Yelp
Been almost ten years since my last review, time for an update! We dine here every time we visit Ocean City. It's an old school Italian restaurant. The service is fast so don't be discouraged about the long wait times. It is a bit of a wait if you have a larger party than 4 though. Can't go wrong with any of their pizzas and pasta. My wife says this place has the best clams in linguine with white sauce. I've had their lasagna and other pasta dishes, and it tasted great. I believe their pastas are homemade. The owner is great and so nice.

Yelp
If you're driving through OCMD or beachin' it - stop by TL for the best pizza in town!!!! It's been around for more than 35 years, when you walk in it takes you back in time. The pizza is absolutely delicious and you MUST have the homemade sauce to dip it in. That sauce...is liquid gold! I love the fact that one of owners walks around talking to customers and making sure things are up to par. Staff is also friendly :-)

Yelp
This place is a classic and staple of OC-- they've been around forever and it's for a reason. Everything here is so fresh-- pizza toppings, sauces, sandwiches, you name it. Every time I'm here, the service is fast but the quality is never compromised. Be aware that if you choose to go on a weekend in peak season, there will likely be a wait but everything moves very fast. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good Italian spot!

Yelp
A small Italian homestyle restaurant across from our hotel while on holiday. Place seems to only be open for dinner and quite popular. The interior is old school with stained glass lamp shades (all different and none matching), and the wooden booths are small and tight. A lot of tables available though. Our server did not seem to be very familiar with the menu. Could not describe items for order. The food came in an odd order. Side of bread came last. Some reviews mention garlic bread but this was just regular bread with a side of butter. Kids meals seemed hearty. Tenders were tasty. Burger bun wasn't great. Chicken parm was yummy. Hawaiian pizza was alright. The sauce is too salty. The crust too hard/crispy. The cheese had burned onto the pizza and the pineapples were not sweet enough to overcome the saltiness of the sauce and Virginia ham. Overall we liked it for the "nostalgic Italian American home cooking." Someone who appeared to be the owner came by to check on us. That was nice of him.

Yelp
Ordered carry out since we were staying across the street, plus with the completely packed parking lot, couldn't have made a drive over even if we wanted to. Employee didn't have the greatest of attitudes over the phone while taking order, put our order in under a completely different name (even though we clearly stated and spelled the name out over the phone, twice). Nevertheless, got a White Pie and an order of Lasagna. Lasagna had plenty of cheese and sauce, not bad quality at all, would definitely order again. The White Pie certainly over performed, wasn't expecting much based off presentation, however the flavor certainly delivered. Great Cheese, Crust, and the onions added a nice flavor as well. Will definitely try Lombardi's again in the future!

Yelp
Maybe it's nostalgia but I've been eating at Lombardi's for 40+ years when I was a kid, they had a boardwalk location. It was the best pizza on the boardwalk. They closed the boardwalk location many years ago but they still have the 92nd St. location, which is wonderful. The food is still still great. The service is always top notch.I was just there for dinner last week for a little getaway.

Yelp
Tagged along for dinner with my friend's family on a Sunday evening. Parking was a breeze as they have a big lot right outside. Despite the pretty sizable crowd waiting out front our party of 5 only waited about five minutes and we were promptly seated in a booth in the back. It's a little tight inside, weaving around the tables and bar area proved a bit difficult especially since it was so busy. The restaurant is dimly lit with traditional Italian decor on the walls. Our server was quick and offered good recommendations. I ordered the chicken fettuccini and despite the photo it actually tasted quite good. You need to mix the sauce in yourself as they clearly have the noodles separate from the sauces in the kitchen. The Alfredo sauce was delicious, they said all sauces are hand made. The shrimp with vodka sauce was also great. Our meals also came with a bread and butter basket. I was impressed by how fast our meals came out. Overall I'd recommend Lombardi's, I'd like to come back and try their pizza. I'd eat their pasta again for sure! The only issue we had was the huge table of children that were sat next to us which is not the restaurants fault. The dining room inside was quite loud and unfortunately we had to scream over the table to be heard during the entire meal.

Yelp
Super busy weekend but a review on take out pizza. The dough is unique. But not in a good way. Super dense and undercooked. The underside was as white as a paper plate, but not soggy. Just a super dense flavorless dough. Have a full glass of water with each slice otherwise you won't be able to get it down. The cheese is SUPER greasy. Even a white pizza had the cardboard soaked before we got it home. Wish it soaked into the crust... People were nice. 3 stars is very generous but the place looks cool.

Yelp
Pretty good food!! We ordered one Chicken Parmigiana and one Chicken Parmigiana with Vodka sauce instead of the classic sauce. I definitely liked the one with Vodka sauce better but both were good! The chicken was cooked well but too salty (and I appreciate a good salting). It came with a few pieces of bread with butter that was okay. I would definitely return for their pasta sauces.

Yelp
AMAZING!!!!!! Staying right across the street from Lombardi's and saw the good reviews. Wife and I were looking for a change. What a good choice. Showed up around 7pm on a Wednesday and it was about 3/4 full. Little loud but still could have a normal conversation. Service was super quick fast. Like damn fast. After our orders were taken, it took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive if that much. It flew out of the kitchen. Wife got the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta and said it was delicious. I got the veal parm entree and it was probably the best I've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh. Our wonderful server kept bringing refills on my soda before my cup was half empty. I do go through soda pretty quick at meals. Got a cannoli to go and it looks so yummy. Didn't get to try their pizza but a table close to us did and it looked delicious. Will have to try it next time as I saw a lot of reviews saying it was the best in OCMD. If it's anything like our meals today, I can't wait to try it. Excellent service, excellent portions, can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Lose the onions on the white pizza or tell the guest there are a ton of them on your white pizza was pretty disgusting. The caprese salad gross tomatoes were absolutely not ripe and they definitely should not have been cut and put in that to go container. I think your chef and owner need a tutorial on what a beautiful caprese salad is supposed to look like. A 2.00 up charge for fried chicken on the Alfredo which was dry not nearly enough sauce c mon guys I know you can do better than these three terrible items

Bill M.

Yelp
Went here for dinner last night, and it was a good experience. Got seated immediately at around 5:30pm on a Friday night. Waitress was very friendly, and entrees were all good. The chicken parmigiana was skimpy on the chicken, which is what takes the review from five stars to four stars. It, and everything else, was delicious...just needed more chicken. Oddly, the bread basket didn't show up until the entrees came. That may have just been a mistake.

Yelp
Best spot in ocean city! Smells like home! Just like a proper mom and pop Italian place like you'd get in NJ, NY and CT. Love it. Feeds my soul to come here and manga!

Yelp
Tabled for 3 Dare: Sept 19, 2024 Time: 5:46pm Seated: was seated right away Decor: Decor was a little out of date, but still give s bar theme feeling Seating: the seats was hard, should bring a small pillow if you have gluteus Maximus issues Cleanliness: the restaurant was extremely clean, tables was clean Structure: the ceiling looks like it need a paint job the beams and floors look like they need replacing Restroom: didn't use Staff: waiter was very nice and understanding of our food restrictions, Food: ordered garlic bread and pizza Garlic bread was soft and tasted fresh Pizza was nice and Ambience: could use some soft music

Caitlyn Q.

Yelp
Went in & ordered carry out. They told us 20 minutes & it was ready just then. The food was pretty good but our crust was a little burnt. Overall very good & definitely recommend!!

Yelp
YESSSSSS! If you love pizza then you will love Lombardi's! I had heard a lot about this place and they did not disappoint! The ambience is a little dated, but works for the type of restaurant it is. It was clean and comfortable. We ordered a large half Cheese and half Meat Lover's as well as a large Lombardi's Famous Summer Pizza. They were all very tasty. The crust had such a great flavor, which just complimented the pizza even more. I will say the Meat Lover's is very stacked with...meat! For the type of crust, it doesn't hold very well and you may need to eat it with a fork. The Famous Summer Pizza was so fresh and delicious and buttery. Such a great balance of ingredients/topping and SO good! The hostess and server were all friendly. It was decent service and they checked on us throughout our dining. 10 out of 10 recommend!
google avatar

Frances A.

Yelp
Lombardi's is a staple in ocmd. Pizza is great, if you're looking for something quick and need a pizza this is the spot! Always know the food will come out well but this is def a casual Spot. 10/10 for a pizza place
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Trattoria Lombardi's is an casual Italian restaurant for a family meal. We stopped by during prime dinner time and were told it would be a 30 min wait. I was expecting it to be much longer because the restaurant was packed but they got our group of six seated well before the quoted time. Our sever, Anna, was fantastic! She really made a great meal that much better because she was so attentive, helpful and checked in frequently. We started with several appetizers which we shared family style: wings, mussels, garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, calamari. They were all amazing! The wings were a huge hit! We then decided to split a few pies: pepperoni, veggie and summer. The veggie pizza was incredible! Definitely the dark horse of the night but everyone loved it! We split a few bottles of wine and enjoyed a great dinner with friends! If you're in the area looking for a good, casual Italian meal you can't go wrong with the appetizers and pizza here!

Yelp
We are from out of state and I had a hankering for some pasta and carbs. I read the reviews and felt that we chose really well after looking at the other options in-town. Skip the salad and get the entrées because the pasta I ordered was absolutely fantastic. It was so fresh and cooked perfectly al dente. The chicken was outstandingly delicious. The sauce- exquisite. It was just what I wanted and it's easy to see why locals keep coming back. We didn't order a pizza but you could tell that it was very hearty. The tables around us got one and it looked quite good. We got both the tiramisu and the cannoli for dessert. They were great. I think the owner was hanging around the bar area. He seemed like a genuinely welcoming person and full of character and happy to see his regulars. That kind of charm is fleeting these days, so it's refreshing to see presence like that. As for the ambiance, people who are saying it needs a pick me up, eh. I disagree. It reminded me of going to your local Italian place when you were a kid. There's nostalgia and warmth in the low hanging Tiffany fixtures and charming old booths. I quite liked that. And the salad wasn't bad, just unremarkable. it's just not what I was wanting. And the entrees absolutely made up for it. You absolutely cannot beat the prices and quality of the food with the service here. The portions are "Midwest" approved and sure to leave you full. We will definitely be back the next time we are in OC. Try to get in before the dinner rush if you can! It's popular for a reason.

Yelp
Full disclosure: I haven't stopped by Lombardi since 1996 when my family and I were guests of locals. Tonight I decided to break the dry spell and get carryout. A large meat lovers pizza. I arrived and was greeted by friendly a team member and placed the order. A little more than ten minutes later, I had my pie, paid the bill, left a tip and headed to my hotel. The pizza is incredible and it really is the best in town, bar none. Lastly - the restaurant is a time capsule. Not much has changed over the years and that's pretty comforting.

Sue B.

Yelp
The food was really good and it's difficult for us to give a five star outside of NYC as we're here on vacation and we're very pleasantly surprised by the good food and service we had. The owner was very courteous and amicable and the restaurant was hopping!! We're planning to go back before our vacation ends, another rarity, as we like to try different places while vacationing!

Yelp
First time person here. Had the MD crab soup, it was super thick, like a stew. Tasted ok though. Ordered a pizza. It was ok. Nothing bad but nothing WOW either. If you couldn't tell this place didn't dial my number. But I will say that the place was packed in the off season at 7pm. To go orders were steady. Perhaps it's just me who is not impressed.

Kristin G.

Yelp
We have been coming to Lombardis for years and often more than once in a week since we loved it so much. It was our first night out this week and of course we went to Lombardis. I have never been so disappointed in a meal. Our entire family got chicken entrees with pasta. Everyone's pasta was grossly overcooked....the pasta was only half covered with a small spoon of sauce and the chicken was probably a 3-4 ounce portion for over $22 an entree. We were so disappointed that one of our favorites had become so bad. Quality of food, quality of cooking, portion size and taste....all disappointing. We won't be returning which is so sad!!!

Yelp
My family went to Trattoria Lombardi's for a quick and easy dinner. The restaurant has a lot of seating and can easily accommodate large groups. Their food is solid, but their pizza is probably your best bet. My mom ordered their basic salad and it just looked a little questionable. The place is loud, but it's very family-friendly.

Heather T.

Yelp
This place gave a very nostalgic pizzeria experience. The wait was reasonable for a Saturday night and the pizzas were great! Our server was very nice and made sure she had everything before leaving. Only real drawback was the parking and the waiting area IN the park lot.
google avatar

Jason T.

Yelp
I am a huge snoot when it comes to pizza. This place knocked it out of the park. When you first walk in it smells just as good as it tastes. The lighting inside is very nice, not too bright and not too dim. My only complaint is that the booths you're sat in are hard and uncomfortable but I imagine it's expensive and hard to take care of cushions. It was super busy in there with sit downs and take outs. We didn't wait too long for our server to bring out our pizza. My other complaint is that we had ordered a veggie pizza and the veggies were not evenly distributed among the slices. But on an uptick the crust was evenly baked, a nice golden brown. It had a nice crunch to it and it was nice and airy inside. The cheese was nicely distributed and they did not skimp on the cheese. It had a very nice pull to it. The sauce was just right, evenly distributed and not piled on. Usually if I order from Dominoes I have to ask for extra cheese and extra sauce. This place I did not have to ask for that. Our server was attentive but limited. We did not get asked if we would like a refill on our sodas and she came back twice to see how we were doing. The restaurant itself was clean and very inviting. The table behind us had employees that he kept going over too and talking to them. Also there was a single mother with her daughter in front of us that he kept going to but never once stopped by our table. All in all, the food was wonderful and I do plan on coming back.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Pains me to downgrade my review of Lombardi's, but we've been served too many sub-par pizzas lately to ignore the trend. Are they under new management? Quality has gone down.
google avatar

Jay E.

Yelp
Kudos to the owner who stepped in a found us seating. He treated us like we are part of the family. He looks Italian or Greek (none of that matters) he also looks like a made guy but kind and welcoming. Mr. Owner you made us feel right at home. We are visitors from out of town. Pizza and service is GOOD. This place seems busy all the time, so the food speaks for itself.

Julianne N.

Yelp
How do I even begin... for starters the flys were all over my food and drinks. I couldn't even finish my food, flies landed all in it. My sister in law got chicken Alfredo and the chicken didn't even taste right it looked off to begin with and looked like cat food. My food was shrimp scampi and it was bland with no flavor and dry. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. Waste of money!! The fly even ran away with the tip...

Yelp
Never had such "Authentically" BLAND pasta/sauce! We were seated next to the busser station. My step daughter was splashed with something that came over the wall onto her shoulder. When something was said to the lady, she looked at the other lady standing there and rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders! When we mentioned it to our waitress she blew it off! Never again! #shouldvegotthepizza

Yelp
A tasty and huge Italian restaurant in OC! We came at 6:15 on a Thursday in August and were told it would be a 20 minute wait for 2 - we were seated in about 15 minutes and the wait wasn't bad. There was a whole crowd of people waiting but luckily it moved quickly. Muscles in garlic & wine sauce was okay. I wouldn't order again. I got the 1/2 liter of wine and, being bad at knowing quantities, I asked if it was like two glasses worth and was told yes. I should have paid better attention in a hook - it was actually 4-5 glasses worth! Nice for the price. Glasses were small, so if they were bigger it maybe could have been 2-3 glasses. We each ordered a side salad. We didn't see it in the menu but we weren't told it wasn't an option when ordering. We ended up being charged for a typical salad. I guess that's the norm - so if you are hoping for a smaller side salad at a smaller price, just know it won't happen. Prices were decent though. Caesar salad had super good dressing. Delicious & good portion size! House salad was just okay. Food came out decently quick. Huge potion for eggplant parm! It tasted good, nothing too crazy. Penne in shrimp scampi was over cooked and the flavor was missing garlic. Overall shrimp scampi wasn't great. But the watery leftover sauce was nice to dip bread in, and there was a good portion of shrimp (8). The restaurant itself was loud, busy, and overstimulating. One of the tables I was sitting near is where they brought all the dirty plates and cups before taking it back, so that made our dining experience a bit louder. The lamps hanging over each table was super pretty! Just a ton going on in this giant restaurant. I would come back to try the pizza since that's what everyone raves about, but other than that I'm not dying to go back.

Yelp
Pizza was good but everything else was not so great. Manicotti was so Fri like it was made and sitting for a few weeks until ordered. Pizza was very good though.

Yelp
It's noisy, it's bustling, and I would expect nothing less from an Italian kitchen! We arrived at 5:15 (Tuesday evening, late July) to a full parking lot so we fully expected to wait to be seated. Happily we were able to get in right away even though most tables were full already. When we left about 45 mins later there was a long wait. So, gauge your arrival accordingly. This is a locally owned Mom & Pop and it has that feel. Dark wood booths and trim. A bar off to the side. A collection of Tiffany lamps, one per booth. Charm, charm, charm. As for the food, our table had three different orders. The Summer Pizza (Mozz, toms, and basil) was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and the crust had a nice chew. The Meat Tortellini in Alfredo was heavenly. Hubs said he didn't know what they put in it, but it was fantastic, and he's right. And MIL ordered the spaghetti with marinara. Since she can no longer eat larger portions, they let us order the child's portion, which was perfect. This is a highly recommend for me. Would definitely eat her again. Or, get a carry out. The carry out window was poppin' too.

Yelp
Excellent! One of the best Italian food places in Maryland. Excellent service. The owner is in the dining room asking guests how everything is. Not out of politeness, but because he truly wants his guests to have great experience.

Really tasty and affordable pizza. Fast service. Nice old school decor. They even put the extra pizza in a box for you to take home.

Yelp
Even on busy nights, we always have had a great experience with this restaurant! From their pizza, wings, cheese steaks, and desserts, this is a solid, homey spot! Make sure to ask about which lamp was donated from a customers personal home!
