We arrived here straight from the airport, since we had a reservation and didn't want to be late.
- I like the fact that the door is full of awards and mentions, it's a nice touch, but it raises the expectations a lot.
Restaurant is typical italian, cramped with old tables and loud atmosphere, but this is why you go to Italy.
- Table was still available and we were sat and promptly greeted by our server. We ordered some water and wine first
- Appetizers were: bruschetta with some tomato sauce and prosciutto and the other one was some kind of thinly sliced Porchetta with a cabbage salad. Both were tasty
- Mâine courses were: Pasta with ragu for me and another type of pasta, beautifully shaped with ricotta filling and some honey sauce on the bottom. Both were very delicious, especially with extra parmiggiano.
- The desert however was not for my taste because the pistachio tiramisu came a bit warm...? I don't know if this is how it should have been or a mistake. Tasted ok, but I was expecting it cold.
- Overall I do recommend this place, it's nice, welcoming, italian. The missing star is for the tiramisu and the portions that should be just A LITTLE BIT bigger.
