Update: still the best steak place. Fantastic service and everyone I take enjoyed the meal from this place.
Update: went back for more and still fantastic service and meat. This time, I had the 650g ribeye cooked to perfection. Will be back again.
Normally, I don't give 5 stars to a local restaurant after one visit. However, they deserve it.
FOOD: The best steak I've had in the Vicenza area. Perfectly cooked and lightly marinated to preserve the beef flavor. I'm not a fan of gnocchi; however, you have to try their homemade pumpkin gnocchi. Strong pumpkin flavor and lightly seasoned. So you will be tasting the gnocchi, not the sauce. I never had horse meat before so this was the first time and the staff said horse meat is their specialty. It was excellent; tender and no weird smell. It was just as good as the steak and I would definitely order again.
SERVICE: FANTASTIC service. The server spoke perfect English (always + for me) and explained each menu item. They also swung by regularly to ensure we were adequately taken carte of. Friendly people and perfect service.
PRICE: I would say their price was average to less expensive. You could check out the menu and the price from Google. But the gnocchi was €9, 1/2l house wine was €5, Steak was €22 and horse dish was €13.
LOCATION: no problem finding the place is you are using GPS or Google map. And there's plenty of parking.
OVERALL: Fantastic restaurant with great people serving. Well deserved 5 stars and we will return.
