A local recommended this typical Roman restaurant and it turned out to be a great choice. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff was very kind and offered us a table that was reserved in an hour. We enjoyed roasted lamb, pasta olio e pepe, a bottle of wine, and tiramisu. The atmosphere was excellent and the price was lower than I expected. Only later at home did I realize they forgot to charge us for the bottle of wine.

Very good local restaurant, full of locals that usually require reservation. Although can accommodate some walk ins. The food is very good and traditional italian. Had the ravioli and was amazing. The tiramisu is also very nice. Recommend for a very good experience in a local restaurant away from the tourist traps.

Every time I am in Rome I have to come to Perilli for the carbonara. Absolutely the best in the world. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great food where the locals eat, not a tourist trap. Away from the busy downtown but worth the walk. Definitely recommend.

It was our first 5/5 experience in Rome. The staff is excellent, very well organized. The food was delicious, in particular the caneloni and the tiramisu were excellent. We thought the house wine was also delicious. We would definitely return in our next trip.

What a wonderful traditional restaurant serving roman specialties. We ordered pasta alla Gricia, REAL carbonara and amatricana. The aroma and cottura of the pasta was just perfect ! Afterwards we had saltimbocca, carciofi fritti and the parmigiana. Again, so tasty. We couldn't get enough so we took the fresh sabayon to finish off our meal. All this was accompanied with a beautiful vermentino white wine. Whenever we visit Rome again, perilli will be our first stop.

Classic place with a lively atmosphere. The waiters were busy but attentive, and overall the service was nice. The food was excellent — we had the cannelloni and coda alla vaccinara, and the zabaglione for dessert was delicious. Great house white wine, and the prices were fair.

I’ve come to Perilli in two trips to Rome, it does disappoint one of the classics. Charming, incredible food and just an overall incredible experience. The carbonara is excellent, the amatriciana was divine and the everything else was perfect! You also must try the zuppa inglese a not so known Roman dessert.
