Trattoria San Basilio alla pergola

Very tasty food and welcoming service. They know little English but make an effort to explain and illustrate using translate and photos. The dinner was very tasty, and it seems they have a different menu according to the season and fresh products of the day. Expect a few choices of each dish and each one is very good. We ate black ravioli filled with carbonara, and some lentils soup as first course. The main course was lamb with spinach, and for dessert we had some freshly made deserts of the day (chestnuts, fruits, and other things I can't describe but were very good). Great place for dinner in a walking distance from the center, affordable prices. We paid 60 euro without wine for the dinner.

A good restaurant just outside of Verona, the dishes are tasty and also good portion. Wine list a little one focus on the Veneto region

Superb...one of the best meals I have ever eaten. From the outside the restaurant looks nothing special but it had been recommended to us by a local so we thought we would try it. I am so happy we did. The owner had his training in Michelin restaurants and it shows...the food was sublime, perfectly cooked, amazing taste and simple, clean presentation. The staff are friendly and the garden surrounding is pretty. This is fine, fine fabulous dining in an informal relaxed setting. Next time we go to Verona again it's my first stop. Cannot say enough good things about it....worth a trip out of the centre of Verona for.

Beautiful food and very friendly, helpful staff. We sat inside as it was a bit chilly out. After our meal, the owner showed us round the garden area, which was beautiful. Would happily go back.

Beautiful authentic local trattoria. The staff were lovely and while the food and wine was not groundbreaking it was very good quality. A most enjoyable evening

Me and my family had very high expectations from this trattoria.The antipasta dishes were very good(especially the biscuit thing with the tuna),as well as the breads that they served us.However, the food was very mid (especially the pasta with zucchini, the only positive thing about this dish was the homemade pasta ,all in all the dish was just macaroni with fried zucchini), very flat taste , no volume in the taste of the main dishes.I surely do not recommend the pasta and zucchini dish as well as the black Angus with mushrooms one.The only worth it main course was the risotto , definitely recommended.The service was pretty fast and polite.As for the prices , I’d say that it’s a bit expensive for what the offer to the client.

Best lamb I ever had! Prices are pretty much the same as I'm used from home.
