We got left on short notice without a room at the Hyatt place next door. My husband booked the wrong dates! Hyatt had no space for us but Travelodge did. I winced at the idea having no experience with a Travelodge ever. It sounded very 1960's traveler basic to me. But it's what we had. I loved it! the bed was beyond comfortable. The room was clean and convenient. We had a window that opened and a view of the space needle. The vending machines were stocked and everything was comfortable. The front lobby has a nice seating area inside and outside.

For the price I paid- $400 for one night, that includes parking, it could have been a better experience. The water pressure in the shower is non existent. Also the air conditioner shut off every 5 minutes. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to blow. Literally every 5 minutes. So once I fell asleep, the room was stifling. The pool and hottub were nice but there were no clean towels stocked by the pool. I canceled a nicer room to stay here because of the pool. I should have stuck with the King suite with no pool for the same price. 😐

It's hard to review a hotel after spending my first 3 nights in Seattle at the Hyatt Regency Seattle and not compare the two. The Good: The Travelodge by Wyndham Seattle by the Space Needle is located within walking distance to the Seattle Center, so you can explore the Center, Space Needle, Pop Culture Museum and other attractions. Belltown is a nice area, with plenty of restaurants. You can jump on the monorail which takes you downtown in under 5 minutes, and there's plenty of other transportation options around. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's also a Walgreens across the street, and a convenience store around the corner at a gas station. The Bad: The surrounding area of the hotel is somewhat industrial looking. Not pretty, with the exception of the space needle, which is visible right in front of the business. The rooms (or at least the one I was given) was clean, but old. My room smelled musty. The walls are thin, so you can pretty much hear everything going on upstairs and next door. The floors were creaky. The bed was not comfortable at all. The entire hotel can benefit from some renovation. I was somewhat on a budget, and Seattle for the most part is pretty expensive, so I managed for 2 nights. Would I stay there again, probably not, but I've stayed at worse places.

Google
Amazing staff. The manager you can tell works her tail off, and all of the staff were so friendly. Honestly for the price, this is fine. The rooms are clean, the beds comfy, and the location is pretty good. the space needle is across the street. It's pretty old, but it's well maintained. No real complaints. Just know the free breakfast is a sack bag with an apple, water, granola bar, and a package chocolate croissant. I knew this going in so wasn't surprised, but they do have other drinks and a little bit of food to buy. Overall enjoyed my stay here!

Google
I had a smooth experience from check-in to checkout at Travelodge by Wyndham at the Space Needle. They require a $100 deposit, and they also sell souvenirs on-site. There’s no breakfast, but they do have a mini store with free coffee available, which was a nice touch. I was planning to use the pool, but it didn’t look very clean, so I opted for the jacuzzi instead, which was relaxing. On my last night, it got a bit noisy from the next room—you could hear the sounds pretty clearly. At first, I thought the shower pressure was weak, but it turns out you just need to turn the handle all the way to the end. The room itself was clean and well-kept. It was also the most affordable option during my visit to downtown Seattle. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Space Needle and about a 30–40 minute walk to Pike Place Market. Overall, a great value for the price!

Google
This hotel provides a nice stay especially if attending events near the Space Needle complex which is a short two blocks away. It’s not a spectacularly nice or modern hotel but it served its purpose well for two nights of concerts at the nearby Climate Pledge Arena. A queen room was a little small but the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good flow, the mini refrigerator is nice sized, has a microwave, a Keurig for coffee and and an OK DIRECT satellite TV. While there are really no hotel grounds like with most hotels in a big city downtown they had a really nice little outdoor pool area. I’d definitely recommend it for events in and around downtown Seattle.

Google
We stayed one night while waiting to embark on our cruise on the next day. Bed was comfortable. Although at first the area around it seemed sketchy, about one or two blocks up was the Space Needle and a nice park. Yes, the hotel is dated and can use some major updating but it worked for what we used it for

Google
I stayed for 3 nights and this "vintage" hotel was a very pleasant surprise: the roon was very comfortable and very clean and it had everything I needed for a pleasant stay: coffe maker, microwave, iron, great bed and sheets...The hot water worked perfectly as well. The location is great to visit Seattle: 2 blocks from the Space Needle and about 15 min walking to downtown in a safe neighborhood...The employees at the reception were very kind and a special thanks to the maids, they were not only nice but they were very efficient after a request I made. Great team....Great hotel for a great budget !!! I Highly recommend it !!!

Yelp
Location and price are the two factors for my rating... first off this is the most overpriced Travelodge I have stayed at. Sadly compared to other hotels in the nearby downtown vicinity- it's a steal - and so plus for finding a place that wasn't $400/ night ( that is what most hotels were pricing for that weekend on the low end). But on the flip side you also get a bit robbed cause the facilities are old and in most other places you would have a lot fancier hotel, room and amenities for that price. But it's about location! Front desk service was really nice. The facilities are clean. Quiet at night. You are able to store your luggage post checking out. Walkable to the space needle. Construction happening across the street. Would I stay here again? Yes- again its location, price compared to other places to stay in the downtown area, and good service.

Yelp
Housekeeping stole from me, do not disturb signs are ignored, mold next to the AC unit, there was a men's beanie in the freezer upon arrival, peeling wallpaper, front staff didn't care about me being stolen from by their employees and was dismissive and uncaring, stay anywhere else if you care about your personal items and feeling safe. When i went to the front staff to explain i had been stolen from and asked for a do not disturb sign so i wouldn't be stolen from again, they listened with an uncaring attitude, a straight face, and said "okay well here's your do not disturb sign". There was no reassurance they would speak to their housekeeping staff about not taking guests personal items , nothing. They did not care. The do not disturb sign didn't even do anything as well since they ignored it and still went into my room the next day. The security and safe feeling of a hotel here is severely lacking, and the front staff don't even care if you're stolen from. I left a tip for housekeeping the day before they stole from me too, very shocking and gross behavior by all staff. Do not stay here.

Yelp
The location is good since it's walking distance to the Space Needle and you can also catch the monorail that takes you to downtown (Westlake area). The hotel wasn't all that great. Microwave didn't work, some plug outlets to charge cell phone devices didn't work. The only good thing was that we were able to check in early since my flight arrived earlier and free coffee and hot chocolate at the front lobby. For what I paid for 2 nights, I probably could have stayed at a better hotel. Not sure if I'd like to stay here again.

Yelp
BED BUGS! Do not stay here! The condition of the room was terrible, especially for the outrageous prices. The floors and walls peeling, lights not working and not to mention i got bit everywhere by bed bugs! It took 4 days to get a manager to finally pick up the phone to tell me they "had an inspector " say there is nothing. I'll see what the health department has to say about that. On top of that they charged my room with something someone else had purchased and put on my room number ! How irresponsible! What a scam and terrible customer service.

Yelp
Decided to stay here based on the proximity to the pier to Carnival Cruise, the price, grab-n-go breakfast, and that it offered a shuttle to the pier. If we fly to the pier destination I like to arrive the day before. The shuttle is first come first serve. There is a sign up sheet, it's $10 a person and the limit is 10 people. We ended up taking a lyft because it was cheaper. We were able to get a spacious SUV for less. The room itself was clean. The water pressure was good. Everything was in working order. The hotel is walking distance to the space needle. Walgreens is across the street just in case. Overall if we plan to go on a cruise again we would stay here again.

Yelp
Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, in my entire life. When we tried to check in, our room wasn't ready, so we dropped our luggage and left for our afternoon plans. By the time we got back, it was late and we were exhausted, so when we stepped into the dilapidated room we just tried to make the best of it. There were holes in the ceiling plugged with paper towels, peeling paint and wall paper, problems with the shower and sink drains. For the cost, I was appalled. The next morning we asked if we could switch to a different room. After seeing two others, we felt we were better off trying to find a different hotel. This is the only time in my life I have done any of this but as soon as we checked in to a hotel around the corner, I felt so much better.

Yelp
This place scared me. It was very sketchy, and did not satisfy me. If you use your phone a lot like me, do not come here. The wifi was horrible, and barely worked, even though there was tons of wifi to connect to. So first, I got 2 rooms, one on the first floor, and the other on the fourth. The fourth one didn't have shower gel in it, while the first one did. The shower here it also very small, and it had no light. There was also a spider in the bathroom at night. The pool and hot tub was fun, the staff was nice, and there was free coffee and hot chocolate, that's what the 3 stars are from.

Yelp
The location is ideal it's close to the space needle Seattle center etc. walking distance from busses that takes you downtown. The staff is amazing honestly and is the reason for my hefty stars.... Room service was consistent everyday and replaced everything we needed without us asking ...... now with all of that said . The hotel is incredibly run down. The heat did not work and we were cold most nights. There were stains all along the carpet. The Vending machines were outdated. The grab and go breakfast was horrible. They do store your luggage at no extra cost. Water And tea provided in common area everyday. Loved the shampoo conditioner and body wash dispenser that was always filled

Yelp
The woman at the front desk is very pleasant. This establishment provides an enormous relief after a long period of travel.

Yelp
I've stayed in motels better than this. When we arrived to check in, there wasn't a room ready for us. Once we got in and settled, I noticed the ceiling above both beds were peeling, some corners of the room the paint was peeling and there's what looks like a wad of paper towel stuck in the corner. Inside the closet, along the wall inside has a piece of wood coming off with screws missing or hanging loosely. When I went to the desk to let them know and request another room, I was told we could change rooms the next day. Then we noticed the shower drain was clogged, AND in the morning noticed that the bathroom was flooded. Went downstairs in the morning to check on changing rooms and were told we'd need to wait until about noon until the rooms were clean and became available. We already had plans for the day, and when we returned, the bathroom seems to be fixed, but now there's no rooms available again. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he will be back tomorrow @ 8am. I asked what time he'll be here until, and he said "he comes and goes" I spoke to the front desk @ 3:30 today and already the manager wasn't available? Good luck and I hope your experience will be better than mine. The only plus I see right now is there's a lot of outlet plugs. Oh and the pool and hot tub are not available right now. UPDATE: I spoke with the manager and he was very helpful and our stay was on them. Thank you!

Yelp
Wyndham hotels/ Travel Lodge Very long rant but worth it if you or travel companion are handicap I would love to see other opinions and if anyone would like to tell Wyndham what they think the customer service number is 888-775-3379 My wife and I made the unfortunate decision to stay at the Travel Lodge by the space needle in Seattle WA I'm disabled and use a mobility scooter the rooms are not handicap accessible in order to get the scooter in the room required having to bang against the door jam once in the room you can not Maneuver the scooter off to one side all you can do is block the door creating a fire hazard. But hey we made the decision to tolerate this and accept it for our 3 day stay till we left on a 7 day Alaskan cruise. I notice a clipboard on the counter one day to sign up for a shuttle to the cruise terminal for $11pp so I inquired about availability and if they could accommodate my scooter. The gentleman working at the desk could not answer the question and said he would ask the assistant manager to get the information which he did as he said I called the hotel later that afternoon and spoke to the assistant manager who informed me they could accommodate the scooter for an extra $20 I was shocked and stated that was a violation of the ADA and is illegal so I asked for the name and number of the transportation company they used so I could call and straighten this out the assistant manager refused to provide the information I was astonished she would refuse to provide the information but Uber was only $24 and had no problem with the scooter So when I got home from vacation I called Wyndham corporate the parent company after 2 or 3 phone calls regarding this the customer service "supervisor " Collin (I literally called 124 times today every single time it a supervisor answered) offered me a full refund for my stay and gave me instructions to send them a copy of the credit card statement which I did two days later I get an email from a different "supervisor" that they are going to refund me only 25% of the bill I replied that I was offered a full refund and got no response after 4 business days I called to see what was going on since they never and they never replied and was told by another "supervisor" that was all they would do I asked to speak with this person's supervisor and was told there supervisor doesn't take phone calls I asked to speak to the supervisor Collin and was told they don't have extensions so I couldn't be transferred and then hung up on

Yelp
Nothing special but nothing outright bad also. The hotel has that oh so unique hotel smell and I could hear people in their rooms as I walled by. Parking cost $15 which hurt but it's Seattle. The night including taxes was $100. Not bad for a last minute hotel reservation. The Space Needle is definitely within walking distance if that's what you're looking for. Small and slightly claustrophobic shower.
google avatar

Yelp
Crazy expensive for the room, and there were gnats everywhere. Also, we reserved a room online and prepaid weeks ahead of time. When we got here at 12 PM, they said our double queen bed room wasn't ready. We checked at 2 PM and the room still wasn't ready. At 3 PM check-in time, they told us they gave away our double queen bed room we reserved and gave us a room with 2 double beds and then tried to charge us the same rate. I do not recommend this place. Stay at the Fairfield across the street. I'm sure they're nicer.

Yelp
They should post on their site that people with disabilities are not welcome. I hope I managed to find the last inaccessible hotel in America since the Americans with Disabilities Acts was passed 31 years ago. What was obviously steps are turned into ramps like ski slopes on every floor. The showers are for standing only. I called in advance and asked for a a simple plastic chair which was denied upon arrival. If you are not an athlete you are taking your life in your hands getting to and from your room. Notice it does not say rooms are accessible. There is basic cleanliness except for worn out and permanently stained carpets. Hotel has obviously neglected to subvert accessibility requirements. Could not get coffeemaker in room to work and there only one coffee maker in the lobby so when its empty....oh well. Breakfast is the same everyday...a granola bar, small bakery item and an apple with water. Vending machines frequently don't work and don't take cards. Yes I didn't want to spend $300 per night but this isn't work half of what I paid. I somehow thought Whydam had standards ....they need to be sued.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE! Yes it is close to the needle and other shit in this area but it is not worth the headache this place will give you. It is old, rundown, semi-clean and at best employees who are slow and useless. They screwed up our reservations twice. The day we arrived I told him we were there for three days as their paperwork said two. He told us he fixed it. Come the third morning we came back from breakfast and the maid was knocking on the door and I told her we did not need anything. She said she was told we were checking out. My wife called the front desk and explained that, insert name, fixed this problem, NOPE he did not. The useless desk worker then told my wife that she didn't want to call the cops on us. WHAT? I went down there and this bitch refused to help or contact the Mgr or the employee who checked us in. I ended up on the phone with their corporate office who then called her up and told her it was their fault. She apoligized to my wife but not me. NEVER AGAIN

M o.

Yelp
Boss man booked us 3 rooms as a bunch of us were in Seattle this weekend to work an event. Boss specifically told us he pre-paid for our rooms the day we checked in. Throughout the day, as we were all checking in, the hotel staff told every one of us that the rooms had not been paid for and made us put the charges on our own cards. They also charged us $15 a day for parking. All of this nightmare finally got resolved by the second night, but now it's going to require some of us to go to our banks to get the charges reversed. After me and my friend checked out, the hotel called boss man because they said we still had all of our stuff in the hotel room, and had not checked out yet and they were going to charge him for another day. This was completely false. All of our stuff was in the trunk of my car and we were out to breakfast. This demonstration of incompetency could've potentially cost boss man well over $2000. Unacceptable. Our boss is a responsible and respectable member of Seattle community, and he would NEVER do something as sketch as try to not pay a hotel bill!! This establishment needs to get their ducks in a better row than where they are right now. Complete front desk incompetency. I do have to say, the beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the coffee pods offered for the coffee maker were tasty. Those were the only perks.
google avatar

Paul R T J.

Yelp
Run down looking place but pretty clean. Staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were small but so was the price. You get what you pay for
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely the worst motel experience I've had, and I've been on a 50+ day motel road trip in the past. Just a warning, it's $10 per night for parking in case you overlooked the fine print. My initial reaction was the awful smell that permeated the room. Bring an air freshener and wipes to sanitize your room. Here's the actual bad experience...we found multiple carpet beetles on the curtains and called the night manager on duty Jim to come take a look. He said they were not bed bugs and that he would do some research about what the bugs were. Here is my research: "if the problem persists it's because [carpet beetles are] able to thrive off a dirty carpet. They will eat hair, dead insects and dead skin - so if you don't regularly vacuum, your floor can provide the most delicious banquet for these carpet beetles." Jim's response was "well they won't HURT you" and showed no intention of offering a room change until we asked for it. He was overall dismissive of our concerns and also denied that the room smelled terrible. It was clear that my sister and I were not being taken seriously at all. We decided to move out completely and find a new place. I have a high tolerance for motels...but even I could not take this. Do not stay here! TDLR; disgusting smelly room with carpet beetles and bad customer service UPDATE: I FOUND LIVE CARPET BEETLES IN MY CLOTHES A DAY LATER

Yelp
For a 2-star, not so bad. I stayed for 4 nights. Atmosphere: outdated. Lighting is dim like a horror movie. Clean though. They offer grab and go breakfast. Service: they were nice. It's just that when I qas checking in, guy told me that my reservation wasn't on their system and that Agoda is unreliable. He found it right after checking again. Ugh. Room: outdated but clean. My bed was pretty high which was nice. Very soft bed and pillows. Clean sheets, warm comforter. However, after lying down for a few minutes, I felt like I was sinking into the middle so my posture was a bit awkward. Provides a desk area, 40 inch TV, reading chair. Bathroom is a shower, not a tub which I don't mind. A lot of space for 2 people. Carpet was gross though, either needs replacement or steaming. I was on the first floor, view was just a parking lot. Windows curtains were dirtyyyyyy. Amenities: private bathroom, wifi, direct TV cable. Wifi is fast. Overall, it was what I needed. Only there to sleep and shower. If you want to spend time in your room for relaxation, I'd suggest to go to a fancier one. We need to understand that the business wants to upgrade, but no budget/staffing.

Gerald L.

Yelp
Was totally surprised by the added expense. Room rates were reasonable, until added taxes recovery and fees. (?) Upon check-in it cost additional dollars to park you car at the motel. (?) At these prices (fees), you would thing parking would be included. (?) Advertised free breakfast until 9:30. Guess it's true if a bag with water, fruit, pastry and gronala bar is breakfast? The room itself was dated, musty, a/c if on continually run at high speed kept the room comfortable. The best thing l got to say, is location, location, location. It truly is close to many sites and areas, within walking distance. Besides if you drive, you lose any parking space that you paid for, but the lot is full, so you end up parking elsewhere. Don't bother asking for a refund. Overall I'm dissatisfied with my stay at this motel chain. Needs an undercover visit by Wyndham Corporation. I give up my rewards, and know that this is my last stay with them.

Frank M.

Yelp
Wow! I've stayed at run-down places, but this takes the cake for the price you pay. We paid a little over 450$ for 1 night. What a horrible mistake. Stagg during check-in was great. Nice guy. Fat chick checking out was rude. The room was dirty and everything was broken. From the bed to the shower and the dirty ness left behind from housekeeping. Wet dog food was left in the bathroom. So, I guess dogs are welcomed. Omg. You get a better breakfast at Walgreens as well. If you value your person. DO NOT STAY HERE. REMODEL MY ASS. Also, children are running up and down the hallways. For this price. It's should of been a 5 star experience.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Great location. Easy to walk to any of the big tourist spots in the area. Room was a good size and clean. Front desk person was very nice at check in, and they let us check in early.
google avatar

Trey C.

Yelp
The room itself was decent, but the staff (except for Marcus) were awful. Maya made a reservation for the wrong day, and somehow charged me $900 for a room I never reserved. Whoever was manning the desk at checkout did not seem to have any idea what was going on, nor how to fix any of the mistakes. There were two teenagers standing around handling money behind the desk, I have no idea if they were employees. Would definitely not recommend this place, and will never stay there again.

Yelp
Was walking out with my six month old baby and the lady at the front front started getting crazy and trying to antagonize us on the way out because my boyfriend was drinking a water bottle and had his mask down. We didn't look at her or entertain her and she screamed at us "there is a mask mandate here you cannot bring your mask down even to drink water this is to protect medical professionals and to protect our families so that YOU DONT KILL THEM!" And because we did not respond to her she kept going on and on and said "YOU ARE NOW BANNED FROM THE PROPERTY!" And harassed us until we got out of the place. No professionalism here she is plain disgusting. There are so many bad reviews here this makes me laugh. She was a straight up KAREN! The owners and manager should really care more about who they have representing their place. I would be embarrassed to have her working for me LOL!
google avatar

Flor C.

Yelp
The walls are so thin, you can hear the elevator going up and down. It was mostly annoying since I had requested for a quiet room. There was a big yellow stain in the ceiling by our bathroom. The location is good for the price, but don't stay in room 210.

Kalyn H.

Yelp
Honestly everything was doable until I had a rundown with the manager..... I can handle basics but I do expect things to be secure so when everyone's car got tagged I expected more than a "well its downtown seattle". The manager gave us attitude, literally said at one point "if you have something to say, say it to my face!", all because my friend said "we were just concerned about professionalism" but was wearing a mask so it was muffled. When I repeated it and then continued to leave, she followed and continued with the shenanigans. I honestly was just looking for someone to hear our concerns and improve the place, not bully us because we had complaints.
google avatar

Billy N.

Yelp
They took my money and would not allow a room. Had a trip planned with my partner, but something important came up and I couldn't go. I called to let them know I wouldn't be there, but partner would be. The front desk lady flat-out said "no." It had to be ME with MY credit card. What? I've taken so many business trips that other people paid hotels for - are you insane? DO NOT STAY HERE. They ripped me off. I paid for a hotel room for 2 and then they wouldn't let my partner stay in it. What a disappointing, heartbreaking waste.
google avatar

Ruth T.

Yelp
This motel certainly isn't fancy, you get what you pay for. We stayed on the 4th floor so it was pretty quiet. Considering how close it's located to the Space Needle and the relatively low price per night, we weren't too sure what to expect until we saw our room. Marcus at the lobby desk was very friendly and courteous. No bells and whistles, but that's to be expected for what you pay per night. The shower knob was difficult to turn on, we had to ask the staff to turn it on, she even admitted it was pretty tight. The neighborhood we were in was quiet, but that might just be due to the fact that the Corona Virus is affecting so much activity. We did like that they have elevators. Their breakfast isn't anything to write home about, but then again, I might mark that up to the virus again, so services are limited. If you want no frills and being near the Seattle Center, then this is the place for you.

Ingrid D.

Yelp
It's outdated but our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Old. Dirty carpet. Wallpaper is falling apart. Loud at night. Lobby smells bad. Locations is great though
google avatar

Rocio L.

Yelp
No where in their website did it say they only allowed 21+ to book a room. Went there to book in and wasn't allowed because I was younger, which okay policy. But the way the lady treated me and told me was so rude that made me cry. She had black hair, glasses and a sparkly mask. She was horrible. Didn't even try to help me find a new place, I flew in and was stranded with no hotel. Place looks horrible too honestly it doesn't seem worth to stay. HORRIBLE STAFF.

Brad S.

Yelp
Do not stay here!! Their billing department can't charge correctly for the life of them and are above themselves upon being called on a mistake their manager doesn't understand customer service at all . I travel a lot and will never book with Travelodge ever again.

Yelp
Great location, reasonable price, comfy bed, staff was very nice. Yep, it needs a major renovation but I would stay here again.

Yelp
I will start this review by saying that if you love fancy hotels with modern furniture & beautiful views, this is not the place for you. I was looking for a clean place with great location & this is exactly that. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to Seattle. Customer service is very good. They offer continental breakfast until 9/9:30am, which consists of many options including eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, cereal, breakfast drinks, etc. Price is right. My experience was only positive. Staff was even accommodating and let us keep our luggage there post-check out while we explored the city a little more. I'd recommend!

Yelp
Giving this place 3 stars because the staff was super nice and accomodating and also the location is great if you want to be walking distance from the Seattle Center area. Otherwise, this place is old and kinda funky. Dont expect pretty rooms or room service for that matter. Rooms are small and dark. The bathroom was tiny with no windows. The bed was definitely old and not that comfy. Curtains were ripped and the carpet was kinda gross. But it was clean enough (as clean as a motel can be).. and it has a tiny fitness room too. But its affordable and safe and if you are only staying for one or two nights...it could save you a lot of money.

Yelp
I booked here specifically because of the free breakfast and spa amenities shown thru their website and bookings.com. Website claimed the Spa/ Hot tub was open starting August 31st, in the lobby at the front desk they have a sign advertising the spa being open 10am-10pm, in the room they advertise the exact same times in the binder of info they provide you. Turns out the hot tub isnt working and wont be until- no disclosed time. The Breakfast buffet had also been discontinued due (waste?) this was right before the covid-19 so it wouldn't have been from that. It was just an apple, water, cereal bar and hard boiled eggs. It wasn't a terrible breakfast but if they had disclosed this information before I booked thru non refundable bookings.com, I would have chosen somewhere else. Now I know to call and ask about everything before hand. Ps: There was a general layer of dust behind bed and common area furniture, as well as window/ corners of the walls.

Yelp
Come for the broken vending machines, stay for the cockroaches. This place, well to sum it up, unfriendly unhelpful staff, disgusting grounds and nasty environment. When I booked online I got a city view, and the view is literally of a dirty back alley. There are rips in the carpet, cracked tile, moldy walls, cockroaches and awful smells in the hallways. The wifi never worked despite me telling staff they failed to look into it they said that's the username and password etc. bathroom sink is only cold water and such a low pressure it won't take the soap off. Coffee maker is room was full of dirt and hair. Bathroom light fixture had dead cockroaches in it. I wish this place had redeeming qualities but it doesn't. Even the view of the space needle is screwed by nasty dirty windows that need to be cleaned. The clock in my room is even off by 20 minutes, no attention to detail, so dirty, dishonest and gross. Seattle your better then this, and this place needs to go.

Yelp
I had 3 preferences before booking a hotel 1.Location 2.free breakfast 3.budget. 1. Location: Everything we wanted to visit was within 5-15 minutes away. We were able to walk to the Space needle in 5 minutes. 2. Since we were on a budget, having free breakfast was a great accommodation and save us money on at least one meal a day. It was good basic breakfast the usual bagel, fruits, eggs, coffee etc. 3. We were on a birthday trip for 4 days. We didn't need nothing fancy since we'd do a lot of exploring. The price was great and no extra charges after booking on hotels.com. We used the money for activities so this was a great option. Overall, customer service was nice. The rooms can use some touch ups because the lamp shade had some dents on them lol. Thin walls, but we slept fine. And my favorite was walking down the hall and seeing the view of the space needle everyday!

Yelp
Great location, good prices. Staff allowed early check in, very professional and friendly. Good covid precautions; masks and sanitizing.

Yelp
The Travelodge looks pretty run-down, but I found the staff to be really friendly. The halls have stains on the carpet. Wi-fi was awful. I kept getting bumped off every 5-10 minutes. I did find the bed to be really comfortable. You also can't beat the location, which is close to the Space Needle and EMP Museum. I really got gouged on the price, though. I paid $880 for three nights in mid-August. There is no way in hell that room was worth $290/night after taxes. No way in hell.

Yelp
Terrible, uncomfortable beds, like sleeping on a board. Stains on room carpeting. Otherwise fairly clean . Friendly helpful staff for the most part. They do have a decent breakfast however but still doesn't make up for the terrible beds.

Yelp
Do whatever you can to stay somewhere else, this place is a dive! They charged me over $200 for a room on Saturday night even though when I originally reserved the room on Expedia it was just over $100. Then you also have to pay for parking! Add an additional 40 bucks on top of what you pay for the room, to park in the parking lot, at the hotel where you are renting a room! Absolutely insane! In addition, the room was less than one star with wallpaper peeling off the walls, mold and mildew in the bathroom, lights that didn't work or couldn't even be turned on, overloaded outlets with too many things plugged into them, a refrigerator that didn't even get cold, then after arriving back to the hotel from attending an event on Sunday night, we were informed by the front desk that the elevators didn't work and she condescendingly said "the only thing I can offer you as cardio exercise". No discount on the room, just a smart ass remark. Honestly, if I thought calling the manager would get me any of my money back I would do it but it's probably a waste of my time. Saturday morning I told the front desk that we didn't need maid service because we had things in our room like medication's and what not and didn't want any maids in the room, went to get coffee at a local spot and came back to find a maid in the room! After I explicitly told them not to! Just do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else in Seattle but here.

Yelp
Let's start by saying I normally have no interest in reviewing anything or bringing hardship on any business. But, the stay at this location has been nothing short of abhorrent. My wife reserved and paid for this trip months in advance for my birthday. When we checked in the counter staff was nothing, if not incompetent. Claiming they had no record of us paying, the person checking us in proceeded to charge my card on record. If I didn't already pay, how was my card on file? So I raised issue and asked for the manger, he went into an old system and MAGICALLY there was our paid room!!!!‍ The manger then assured us he would refund the charges. To which he actually charged us even more!‍ So I called my bank and the lady actually explained to the manger how refunds are supposed to work. He then assured us that by the next day it would be back. Guess what!? Still hasn't happen! My wife and I are sitting in the lobby waiting for him to show up... 30 minutes late so far. This review doesn't even the staff lying to my kids about the pool, the 1am scream fest in the next room, the note and cookies in a trash bag at our door this morning or disrepair of the rooms themselves. **Update, After demanding the general manager come in and refund the fraudulent charges on my bank card. He explained to me it was not possible. But gave me cash instead. We also experienced loud and rowdy behavior over both nights we had to stay in this hole. Drunk men trying to randomly open doors including ours at 3 in the morning. Desk staff where dis-intersted in resolving the issue either night. Out of concern for our children, we packed and left right after the second drunken incident.

Yelp
I would like to give zero stars but not an option do you not ever stay here worst hotel experience ever, only good that came from it as we stayed away as long as possible and got to check out some really good Seattle, I repeat again this place is very bad and it tricked us because it was near the space needle, There are a lot of nice hotels in that area do Let's stay here it's gross

Yelp
This is a run-down motel in a good location that does better than expected. Pros: Close to Seattle City Center (Space Needle, etc), breakfast included, bed is soft, wifi is decent, staff is pleasant Cons: Parking charges are nuts (over $100 for 3 nights of uncovered parking in a mostly unsafe area), lots of construction nearby, loud drunk people monopolizing hot tub every night, building needs many repairs, TV had very few channels, housekeeping did a poor job

Yelp
the rooms are not great, the lighting in pictures make it look really good. my friends and I after getting in for less than 5 mins decided to book a different hotel just because we couldn't stand it. we were bamboozled. BUT the highlight of it is Christine is great, very nice, very friendly, super understanding, and very communicative. definitely needs a raise!

Yelp
Nope! NOPE! Nope! We came into Seattle the night before a wedding we were attending the next day (our checkout day) so we wouldn't feel rushed. Our plans were to get ready at the hotel the next morning. We checked in and went up to our room with cracked windows, stained floors, and with a foul sour odder. We were to say the least shocked that we payed 182$ for such a room. 5am, woke up to give my baby a bottle to find that the microwave didn't work! Great! Cold milk!! Woke up to take a shower and get ready- NOPE! Shower didn't work! Couldn't even stand under the trickle of water that came out. So much for showering for the wedding!!! I would never in my wildest dreams stay here again! I still can't believe that room was 182$!! I'd rather have slept in my car if I known that's the kind of establishment this is!

Yelp
When you arrive in this region it I'd painfully clear that there is a big problem with homelessness and drugs. With that being said I have pictures of a transient nodding off in the lobby on the day I checked out. I went to get breakfast at 7:30 he was nodding in the lobby, I went out to smoke about 30 minutes later he was still nodding in the lobby. His clothes and shoes were tattered and he was not wearing socks. When I came to check out at 10:30 he was still there nodding. I moved from the Hilton in capital hill to save money while I work here for a bit more had no problems with paying with my payroll debit card. But not here, the night clerk a very large white haired European man actually looked scared when I questioned him after he refused to renew my room with the same card I made reservations with and paid for my first night. So, he said I could wait for the manager or go to the gas station and pay cash and deposit $250. I had planned to go straight to work this morning. The gas station atm had a $200 limit and it was dark and I wasn't going out walking trying to find a bank atm at that time. And the magnet was late for her shift. When U greeted her she was very cold and uncaring reciting the policy. So I ended up renting a studio apartment with the same card in a very quaint apartment building a couple of blocks down with the same card. No problem. It's also a dingy dump, I have pictures of this also.
